Negative experience: The office staff is not at all accommodating. They do not assist in any regular requests. I needed a note that my daughter was at the office for school and I was told I need to sign a release of records. I requested a fax to be sent to me and was told she can't do it until end of day. Really. Train your staff and do better.

Fantastic experience: Had my first cavity filled at Troy Dental, and it was a very pleasant experience—as much as it can be! My dentist walked me through the process and made it really comfortable. His assistants and receptionists are kind and helpful. Dental visits can be nerve-wracking, and I tend to get a little anxious, but this experience was excellent. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Pleasant atmosphere. Inexpensive, Dental staff seem inexperienced. I understand everyone must learn in life, but I don't like being the Guinea pig.

Negative experience: The procedure for "CLEANING", lasted approximately 15 minutes, which is unusually short for a routine cleaning. During the visit, the dentist did not perform flossing or provide a mirror for me to check the results afterward. Most of the visible stains on my teeth remained after the cleaning, which indicates the procedure was not done thoroughly. In my experience with other dental providers, standard cleanings typically last 30 minutes or more and include flossing, polishing, and an opportunity for the patient to inspect their teeth. The lack of these basic steps and the rushed nature of the appointment suggest that the care provided did not meet expected professional standards. A few days after the appointment, I contacted the dental office to report my concerns and requested a re-cleaning. However, the clinic manager denied my request, stating that “once it was cleaned, the job was done.” I believe this dismissive response further reflects poor service and a lack of patient care accountability.

Fantastic experience: Doc Singh has always been so professional and always checks onyou and asks if you need a break or if it’s painful etc. He explains and provides detailed explanation about the procedure. Also great job to the new dental hygienist guy! Always a great service at this location.

Positive experience: Once again the company the processes their dentures messed up. First they lost them in the mail, this time they sent the wrong dentures in a box with my name on it. DDS Singh is very good and very patient. We won't go with any doctors but him. DDS Shafi was not honest with us and wasted our time and a trip. Rita at the front desk is a godsend. Honest response. Good practice, but have patience.

Negative experience: This was one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. I scheduled a routine cleaning appointment — something I was long overdue for — only to be denied treatment entirely because I wouldn’t agree to a more expensive “deep cleaning” procedure. I made it clear that I was going out of town and simply needed a standard cleaning to maintain my oral hygiene until I could return and consider additional treatment. Despite this, the dentist refused to perform any cleaning at all unless I committed to the full deep cleaning plan — which, by the way, requires two separate appointments. What’s worse is that they proceeded with a full set of 18 x-rays and an exam, using up my 100% insurance-covered benefits for the year — only to do nothing beyond pushing a treatment plan I wasn’t ready to commit to. They even tried to refer me for an extraction for a tooth that wasn’t bothering me, and I never asked for that. It feels like the focus here is more on maximizing insurance billing than meeting patients where they are. I understand treatment recommendations are part of dental care, but refusing basic services unless I agree to a more costly and time-consuming procedure is completely unacceptable. I left without the cleaning I came in for, having wasted my time, used up my insurance benefits, and feeling completely disregarded as a patient. Very disappointing and, frankly, shameful!

Dr.Rashid was able to treat my daughters first cavity on the same day as her cleaning appointment, which made everything much easier for me and my family. Dr. Rashid got my daughter numb for her filling and my daughter didn’t even budge! I would highly recommend Troy dental for your family’s dental needs

Fantastic experience: Kim was so amazing. My daughter doesn’t like the dentist but we had Kim as our hygienist and she made my 6 year old daughter cleaning experience so great. She sang with my baby, was very patient and talked her through the process and my daughter now loves the dentist. This office always has great customer service and everyone is so nice but Kim made this trip even more special. I love this office and I am so happy we got to have Kim.

Negative experience: We have been going to Troy Dental for several years and the service has dramatically declined. I set up an appointment 3 weeks before and when I got to my appointment, Troy told me it was impossible for me to be given any because there was no dentist that day. This happened 3 months ago. Last week, I set up an appointment for my son for 10 am today and when my son went to the clinic at 9:55 am, the lights were off, and he got a text saying his time was moved to 11:30 am because that's when the dentist will be there. Will not be going back. Also, I had my implant done and until now I still have not been seen since then so my tooth with the implant is still open without a crown. No one has reached out to me and when I do, they would say it is because my insurance is not yet cleared. I instructed them to conference me in when they call the insurance, and they have not done so. When I called back, they said it is being handled by one of their staff and that staff is always not available to talk. I must say though, the dentists they have are excellent. It is really the front desk and how the clinic is managed, which of course is not controlled by the dentists, but by management.

Amy and Felica always have smiles on their faces (everyone at the front desk is always amazing) the Orthodontist and his assistants are very gentle and compassionate. Troy dental is the place to bring your kids for cleanings and orthodontist work!! My children have been comfortable since day 1 walking to the back without mom and that speaks volumes!! Thank you Troy for all the you do! We appreciate you!!

Fantastic experience: My son just completed his orthodontic treatment. Dr Li and staff, especially Maribel did a phenomenal job. My son presented with a difficult case. There was no guarantee the treatment would work. Dr. Lee gave it his all and my son has a beautiful smile!

The permanent is the perfect color, was put on very quickly, my bite is better than it was before. I’m very happy with the work and the final result. I was very nervous for my appt, as it’s been awhile since I been to the dentist, and between the doctor and her they made me feel very comfortable. Receptionist was also very nice and welcoming. Been coming to Troy Dental since I was a kid and now 24 years old, never had a bad visit or experience.

Negative experience: I left my appointment feeling blown away by the lack of professionalism, and I probably lost a liter of blood, too. My gums usually bleed a little bit, but the straw sucked out enough blood to fill a chicken egg four or five times, probably because the dentist poking around in my mouth was more forceful, clumsy, and uncaring than any I'd ever seen. They wouldn't even tell me the doctor's name, probably because nobody would want to know it was her. Everything was poorly communicated; the doctor and the hygienist couldn't even communicate which way I should turn my head. This was the worst dentist visit I've ever had, and I will not be coming back. Look elsewhere, for the sake of your own health.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Troy dental. From the staff in front all the way to the back, they are incredibly kind, patient and caring. The dental assistant that worked with me, Cathy, is an angel. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease in a horrible situation. And I just love Rita in front, she was amazing. I would give 100 stars if I could. Thank you guys so much for everything.

Negative experience: Received a bill, stated I was billed because I failed to provide something. I threeway called the insurance and Troy Dental on a recorded line. They need a narrative from not me, their orthodontist! This was an internal matter and an attempt to fraudulently collect money from me. Any office manager or office minion that is half way decent or competent could have fixed this issue as it should have been solved internally. Very disappointed in the office/billing of Dr. Lee. Oh, and I couldn’t actually speak to someone who could fix the issue. Only on Thursday because that’s when ortho is there even though the bill comes from Troy Dental. Smh

Fantastic experience: Very clean and very polite. Calm atmosphere. Been going here 6 years. I have dental anxiety and everyone has always been great working with me. Rita and and Alyssa are very professional and friendly from my check in to the end of my appointment process. They are very knowledgable and patient even with all my questions I have. Negative experience: Waited 50 minutes for the simplest thing. Believe all the other bad reviews you read about this place. HORRIBLE! In reply to what they wrote: - I said what I said. You should’ve disclosed over the phone that it may have been a wait or or that the appointment time doesn’t really matter and I would’ve never booked so you didn’t have to “accommodate” me. Focus on your scheduling issues because the fact that you’d rather get slick on the internet through a google review that’s true than fix yourselves is very telling. Do better Troy Dental!

Fantastic experience: I without hesitation would recommend any of my family and friends to Troy Dental. I was seen at the Shorewood location and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Alyssa was so kind when getting me scheduled. Her and Rita were both amazing upon check in and checkout, both dealing with my nervous rambling (dental anxiety is the worst!) and helping me figure out the best step moving forward! And it wasn’t just the administrative staff that was great. The dental assistant and Dr Rashid both helped ease my nerves while I was in the chair both being very gentle and explaining everything they were doing. I will definitely continue to go back for all of me dental needs!

Negative experience: I will have to do 1 star. They never answer your questions unless you how 1 step away from using your money. I asked them how much will it cost to clean my teeth, they asked for my credit card information or if I will like to pay them in cash but didn't even tell me the cost! I ask them how much does braces cost for monthly payment plan. They told me that will be answered after I get the braces what the heck!?

Fantastic experience: Glennese was so nice and accommodating. She is really great with kids and very patient. The doctor came in and checked my 4 year olds teeth and everything was good. She was informative on what he should be focusing on when he brushes his teeth.

Positive experience: I would definitely recommend Troy dental to anyone looking for a new office. My initial interaction with Alyssa was pleasant, professional, and efficient. She helped me schedule appointments after our prior dentist informed us that they no longer accepted our insurance, and we didn’t even have to wait months to be seen. She made sure that there would be no insurance issues, and quickly emailed me copies of forms I forgot to ask for. I can’t say enough about how caring and attentive the dental techs Glennese and Alex were with my kids. My boys have serious anxiety about the dentist. Glennese was absolutely amazing at explaining everything that she was doing and about to do, so that my son was at ease. Alex was great at calming my youngest. They were so patient and professional.

Fantastic experience: The ortho team and Dr. Li did amazing with my braces/teeth. Everyone was always professional and made the process pretty smooth. I visited multiple locations during my treatment (because it worked best with my schedule) and everyone that worked with me were great! They were pretty flexible as well which was nice.
