Fantastic experience: The dentist I seen was really amazing and was really nice. It’s really embarrassing going in there with a mouth looking like mine. And as nice as it is to have a treatment plan, unfortunately it is just out of the role of possibilities for me for the foreseeable future. I will say if you’re looking for somebody that seems to know what they’re doing, has compassion, and does have affordable pricing. This is the place. But if you don’t have the credit to be able to be financed for what your insurance doesn’t cover, don’t get your hopes up. The only thing I did not really like was having to repeat multiple times that I do not have family or friends that would be willing to help me get financed. I feel like they had a very hard time understanding that not everybody has friends and family that are willing to do that, or has people around them at all. I do feel they were a little pushy on that, but other than that, my experience was great. I just really hope they understand going forward that not everybody has that and when a person says once it’s not a possibility for them, I feel like it should be dropped at that moment and not repeated multiple times.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very nice and professional here. They stay on appointments and even call you days prior to make sure you don’t forget the day of your appointment. Dr. Pai is very good at not only fixing your teeth but also explaining the problems and finding the best solutions to fixing the problems, he even goes well into deep datail about the problems with your teeth and give suggestions on the best solutions. I definitely recommend this place for teeth cleaning and X rays too.

The front reception is quick with scheduling! The dentist is very kind and comforting during and before the session. The dentist's are out for a few weeks, so the young lady on the staff that always takes care of me at my appointments, took care of it for me. She did an excellent job! You can't even see where it was broken. I don't remember her name, but she was patient and professional. She's always very good with the clients.

Fantastic experience: If you’re located in the Joliet area and you’re looking for a good Dentist go to Dental smiles of Joliet located 2410 W. Jefferson and ask for a Doctor Pai One of the few dentists in the area that is honest trustworthy and does a great job highly recommend had a temporary crown put on at Hyline Dental in Naperville not even 24 hours. The temporary crown fell off, called the location. Magali hooked me up with Dental smiles of Joliet said that they are there sister company of theirs and they’re closer to me to go in and get the Crown reglued so that’s what I did. They got me in right away reglued the crown so far everything is good.

Fantastic experience: I believe that I've just had the best experience at going to a dentist than anyone could ever have. Reason I say that is I've had two teeth that have needed to be pulled for a while and everybody loves the dentist not. So I made an appointment to come in to see the dentist to see if he could help me with these teeth he took a look at them took an x-ray came back didn't sugarcoat anything told me exactly what was going on told me what I needed to do in order for him to pull them you need to come and he wasn't quite sure about the top one if he could pull it or if he needed to send me elsewhere. Well today was the day came in and he managed to pull both teeth in record time I made from anybody else who's pulled teeth out of my mouth I don't like needles and he was great here I'm thinking cuz it's been so long since I've had teeth pulled that it's going to hurt like hell nope got all the Novocaine in there God the numbing stuff went after the bottom tooth first you didn't have to try very hard with that one that one was like almost falling out into his hand you really have to work for that one The top one he had to work for a little bit but they both needed to come out The staff phenomenal from communicating with me on the first day making sure that I had all the paperwork that I needed following up so that everything was going to run smoothly for today just on and on and on they knew I was nervous they were right there they kept me calm and we got through it they let me sit and you know after everything was pulled gave me a couple minutes to get you know everything going again got up front made my appointment that I needed and the girls up the front are fantastic whether they're on the phone with you or in person with you they're wonderful. I love dental smiles I am so glad that my girlfriend referred me over to them and I know I've told them but I'm going to tell everybody now I am now making them my new dentist and I've already told three people since I left the office today who I went to and that if they have any dental needs they should go so that goes for everybody who's reading this.

Negative experience: Update Do to them not listening lost all my teeth on my lower left side now may lose the two on top as well like I said the crowns are not right I have blisters ulcers all over around the crowns Definetly do not recommend Wish they would listen about the concerns I am having about my new crowns I went for another opinion and the crowns need redone do to the fact they are too big in my mouth and causing gum issues and irritating my gums do to they are too big and bulky in my mouth and they will not listen and fix the issue at all

Fantastic experience: The office staff (including dentists) were pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, I had to bring my 4 year old with me at the last minute and they did not make me feel bad about it. I do not recommend bringing a child if you can avoid it, but they were very accommodating of my situation so that I could get the care I needed. I also liked that the staff worked together as a team and I noticed them offering to assist each other. Btw, I was in moderate pain after the numbing medication went away on the very first day, but the pain decreased significantly the next day. Edit: I had another visit and can confirm they definitely deserve 5 stars. I have my new crown on and it looks great. No pain the next day!

I had Medicaid insurance, and needed a clearance for surgical procedure, they got me approved for deep cleaning and crown, he also extracted a tooth, and I didn’t feel hardly any pressure and no pain! I was very pleased and impressed, I’ve never had such a great experience at a dental clinic. They have a great team!

Positive experience: The visit was very nice. The staff/receptionists from beginning to end (setting up my appointment for the first time to checking out at the end) were very friendly. The visit was very quick and the technician and doctor were very kind and considerate. The entire visit was timely and the wait was not bad at all. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the setup of the actual office/rooms as it felt a bit open/not as private as I was expecting. Overall a good experience though, setup aside.

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience with them a few weeks ago. I made an appointment for my mother for her regular 6 month clean up. From the beginning the receptionist was having trouble finding her account. I explained to her we have been going for years and it was very strange she was not in the system. She asked me multiple questions and was not able to find her. At the end of that phone call she assured me she FOUND her account. I was relieved and my mother asked for the day off from work to go to her appointment. The day of the appointment comes and she calls me saying they declined her service as she was listed as a new patient. I called Dental Smiles and the receptionist answered saying there was a problem with the system and they had her down as a new patient. I was very upset as my mother’s job is not very flexible with time off and this day was supposed to be for her appointment and they denied her! I explained to the receptionist that whoever I spoke to a couple weeks prior assured me she had found her in the system. Why lie to your customers?? It would’ve been okay if she said you know what I can’t find her but I can have someone else come and take a look. This was very unprofessional and we have never ever had a problem here. Now they keep calling her to make an appointment but like I said, it’s very hard to get days off approved. Edit : This was definitely the correct location as I still have the screenshot of when I booked the appointment and filled out the forms! At the very bottom is your address. I filled these forms out on June 16th. The same day of her appointment.

Negative experience: Do NOT go here , I went there to get my teeth cleaned, and they took x-rays and said that they couldn’t clean my teeth because I needed a deep cleaning and they had to get it approved through ny insurance. My insurance contacted me and said that there was no reason that they couldn’t do a normal cleaning that I did not have any issues that needed a deep cleaning done. They tried charging my insurance $1700 once my insurance wouldn’t cover it, they never called me back as they said they would to follow up. As of today they still haven’t contacted me. They were very unprofessional and I was very uncomfortable there. I knew it was all about money and not the care of the patients. The poor woman in the chair on the other side of the wall kept gagging and choking on whatever they were doing to her She kept saying that they were being to rough and they were getting annoyed with her complaining, this is a big NO for me Zero compassion. Save yourself time and aggravation and take my advice keep looking for a different dentist

Fantastic experience: Yes, there’s a lot of dental clinics around Joliet area but I preferred to go back to dental smiles because of their awesome services. One of their nice staffs was able to squeeze me in today, despite of their hectic schedules ,,my front teeth need to be fixed ASAP. It was Dr Shareef who attended to me and he was so gentle doing the root canal and explained the procedures being done. I was really impressed for the job well done. Fantastic experience: I have terrible teeth (genetics) and Medicaid. I visited Dental Smiles for the first time March 10th, was provided a detailed description of what I needed, a care plan containing possible dates and treatments needed and was reassured they would try their best to make sure my insurance covered it. The assistant made me beyond comfortable and went as far as to show me his crown done in office after I expressed concerns. I go back March 12th to start my treatments. I have never been to a better office!! I will come back and update when dental work is done. Update: I had 5 fillings done in one sitting and have never been so impressed. I arrived at 12:50 (appointment at 1pm) was in the chair at 1:02, numbed by 1:08 and work was complete by 1:45. The doctor was AP and the work done is gorgeous!! I’ve recommended all my family and friends go here!

Fantastic experience: First time bringing my son to the dentist since he was a baby. I was so worried but it was a great experience for him. Everyone was so nice and explained everything they were doing to him in a way he could easily understand.
