Fantastic experience: Just started journey at this place,dentist are really good,experienced, caring and kind.The staff was warm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Clean office, on time, and genuinely caring. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great Staff, professional and nice!

Negative experience: Don’t recommend going here if you need a crown/root canal done. They will tell you that a crown is all you need drill your tooth down to nothing bring you back in 3 more times have you go thru 4 temporary crowns after 6+ hours of being here total then tell you that you now need a root canal but not only that, they will send you to an oral surgeon then give you a price amount just for your oral surgeon to call day before your visit to tell you that your insurance won’t cover it so at this point you will be out more money than you needed to be in the first place! Also plan to be here for 2 hours each visit because the dentist will go back and forth between you and other patience many times for 20+ minutes at a time.

Negative experience: CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THIS INCOMPETENT DENTAL OFFICE. I HAD A VISIT ON JULY 2ND, KNEW I NEEDED A CROWN BECAUSE MY DENTIST OF 8YRS HAD ALREADY SEEN ME BUT SUDDENLY STOPPED TAKING MY INSURANCE, THIS IS HOW I ENDED UP HERE. HAS MY CONSULT NOW WAITING ON INSURANCE TO APPROVE THE CROWN. THEN TODAY JULY 14TH I GET A CALL SAYING MY INSURANCE THE CROWN BECAUSE THE DENTIST I SEEN ON THE 2ND WAS VISITING FROM A DIFFERENT OFFICE AND THEY PUT HIS NAME ON MY PAPERWORK & THATS WHY MY INSURANCE DENIED THE CROWN. THE DENTIST'S NAME THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THERE IS MATERNITY LEAVE. THE OFFICE KNEW THIS AND SHOULD HAVE KNOWN MY CROWN WOULD GET DENIED. THEN BLAMED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND TOLD ME TO CALL THEM TO FIND ANOTHER DENTIST BECAUSE IT WOULD BE A MONTH BEFORE THEY HAVE A ON STAFF DENTIST THERE. NOW IM ON MY 3RD DENTIST WITH A HOLE IN MY BOTTOM MOLAR SINCE MAY 27TH. THANKS FOR NOTHING NOT GREAT DENTAL OFFICE....

Fantastic experience: My whole family has been coming here for years, and we love the staff - the front desk team really are amazing and make us feel valued and appreciated. They are patient, friendly, and just genuinely nice. We just met some of the new dental team today, and they were fantastic! Both the new hygienist and dentist were both so patient, easy to talk to, and explained everything really clearly all along the way. Great service and super easy to work with across the board. I would highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had a crown pop out, over Memorial Day weekend of course. On Tuesday I called Great Expressions in Wixom and they got me in the very next day and they fixed it in no time. My dentist was very nice and friendly and explained everything to me. Thanks and great job G.E.-Wixom! 7/6/26 update: I got a cleaning this time. My hygienist was named Jackie I believe, and she was excellent. Very thorough, answered all my questions, and had a great personality to boot! G.E.-Wixom is now two for two!

Negative experience: Great Expressions is the worst practice due to their poor communication. They closed an office without notifying me and today, when I showed up for 8am appointment in 10 degrees they said they have to cancel because the hygienist didn't show. No notification, wasting an hour of my time. Unprofessional and totally disrespectful of clients.

I will no longer use them for my dental needs.. i started at walled lake they kept canceling appointments.. so they transfered me to wixom and now i keep having same issues and the receptionist ask if i want to transfer to novi thats an hour drive wixom was already 35 40 minutes away.. they confirmed the appointment then called to cancel the day before.. i already rescheduled 3 times to get canceled. Terrible service

Negative experience: Zero stars. I had an appointment at the Walled Lake location, but the receptionist called and moved it to the Wixom office because their hygienist was unavailable. My appointment was confirmed for 3 PM today. I rearranged my work schedule and paid $80 in Uber rides to get there — only to find out the appointment had been canceled. The two receptionists tried to insist they “left a voicemail,” even after I told them I don’t have voicemail set up. One of them later called me while I was standing there only to realize she was lying. No call, no text, no email — nothing. Just wasted time and money. I left and waited inside for about 10 minutes for my Uber ride back. I said, “Have a nice day,” while leaving — only to be met with silence. Later, I called the Walled Lake location, only to find out the number redirects to Wixom — so once again, I had the doubtful pleasure of speaking with one of these “brilliant” Wixom receptionists. This time it was even worse. She said it’s not her responsibility to have my voicemail set up. I told her it’s her responsibility to contact her clients. Then she tried to lie again, claiming she had contacted me. I asked why they didn’t send a message or email once they realized they couldn’t reach me by phone. The explanation was ridiculous — she said they’re “not allowed” to contact clients by any other means than calling. Can you imagine? Zero accountability, zero professionalism, and absolutely no respect for patients’ time or money. I refused to reschedule with Wixom and booked at the Novi location instead, where they’ll now have to redo the diagnostics from scratch. Unacceptable service, dishonest communication, and a complete embarrassment to any dental office. Zero stars.

Very friendly and professional people who greeted us warmly and answered all our questions and concerns. We definitely will spread the word to family and friends that a visit to the dentist office can be a positive experience. Looking forward to returning to have the work done on our teeth.

Fantastic experience: Markeya at the front desk made me comfortable and feel at ease for my appt. The hygienist gave me the best painless cleaning ever.10/10. I find the Dr to be very easy to talk with and She doesn't mind explaining certain things. Hyg assistant was very helpful as well. Very thankful that the Smile protection plan saves me a lot of money. Definitely worth looking into.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience. Wait time in the lobby was minimal, the doctor was in to see me shortly after the x-rays were done, she was patient, explaining the problem, the options to fix the problem and answering all my questions. The estimate of charges after insurance seemed reasonable considering the work to be done was fairly extensive.

Fantastic experience: I give this location five stars because Dr Devi is excellent and I hope this location can keep Her happy to stay. I used to only like this location because the lady who cleaned my teeth (Rose) was amazing but this time I had Jessica and although she did things differently from Rose she was really good. This location also did a 3D IMAGE of my teeth which was state of the art technology and impressive! This location has come a long way from a few years back so I highly recommend if you used to go there and left you may want to think about coming back as they now have a really nice, professional Team that knows what they are doing now. Fantastic experience: I’ve always been super anxious about going to the dentist...to the point where I avoided it for years. But I finally decided to go to Great Expressions in December 2024 and I'm very happy that I did. I’ve had several treatments since then, including treatment of cavities and a crown and everyone at the office has been absolutely wonderful. The whole staff is so sweet, welcoming and friendly. They really helped me feel at ease from the start. Dr. Devi is amazing! She’s kind and patient and always takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel informed and comfortable. She constantly checked in with me at every appointment to make sure I was okay, which made a huge difference for someone as nervous as me. Thanks to every member of the staff I actually feel way more comfortable going in now. I’m beyond thankful for the care I’ve received here. If you’re someone who’s scared of going to the dentist like I was, this place will change your mind. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: Used to love this location, not so much anymore. Dr. Devi dismissed my husband's needs as he was in severe pain. So upsetting that I pay insurance to come here. Will not be returning. Sad.

Fantastic experience: I've only had pleasant experiences in the almost 5 yrs of coming to this office.

Positive experience: I absolutely loved Dr. Devi, she was so caring and patient. She took the time to explain things. Honestly I would follow Dr. Devi if she went to a different practice. The hygienist and the assistant were friendly and did a good job as well. However, I feel the practice would be more successful with different front office staff. They aren’t very timely when you ask them to send C-rays despite the office using digital x-rays and they aren’t very friendly.

Negative experience: I had a good experience here with the doctor. Dr. Devi is very kind and the procedures I got went smoothly. However, I wouldn’t say the same about my experience with the front desk staff. My main reason for not returning here would probably be because of the hassle in terms of getting requested documentation or anything sent over. It takes multiple phone calls in order for it to be processed, which nobody has the time for. I also had to wait for 1 hour extra from my appointment time. I understand that delays happen, but the least that could be done is let the patient know. When addressed, front desk staff did not respond positively, whereas Dr. Devi was a gem and she apologized and explained kindly which made up for it. But, the whole ordeal with front desk staff isn’t something I want to deal with again. If you’re willing to go thru that then sure, but the doctor is definitely great! I would definitely go back if it wasn’t for my experience with the front desk staff.

Negative experience: I would never recommend this location of Great Expressions Dental. They put you on hold for over 30 min at a time. Every time I've been to the office there is barely any customer. The front desk seems to have no clue and are totally careless. I scheduled an appointment for my son and they didn't print out a reminder stating that you'll get reminder phone calls/e-mails. I called today to confirm when is the upcoming appointment and they told me you didn't show up. I never received and reminders from this office at all. I didn't reschedule because I know I need to move to a different location.

Negative experience: New staff Dentist is a nice person. But they want to charge you because you are sick and have to reschedule. Yet I was headed to my appointment one day got to the parking lot , they called me because the dentist didn’t come in that day. Lost a whole days pay, can I charge them for that?? I didn’t have the extra charge (cash) on me . Let’s just say dentures are a fail …. And this was my first follow up walked out unhappy yet they got paid in full for them

Negative experience: I showed up for my first appointment and was told their X-ray machine was down and that they couldn't do my teeth cleaning and exam without taking x-rays. They rescheduled me for the next day but told me that they would call me if the machine was still down so I wouldn't have to leave work early. Next day I show up 5 minutes early for my appointment, as I'm getting out of my car they call to tell me the equipment is still down and we'll need to reschedule for a later time. I called back to days later to reschedule but there was something wrong with their phones and they couldn't hear me. I tried calling a couple times and I'd hear a "hello" then a pause giggles then a hang up. I called someone else and they no problem hearing me. Hours later I was able to be through. Finally got into an appointment, had what seemed to be an obsessive amount and most painful x-rays done. I also told the dentist I had been having some new pain in my teeth. After her exam, she told me that my cavities were leaking and they all needed to be replaced. I found this to be excessive and a little odd, so I went and got a second opinion. The second dentist said that my cavities look good, but that the pain is probably due cracks and tooth decay I had. Then he showed me pictures of these things. How did the previous doctor miss these things! I feel like I was being sold unneeded procedures! Also, as I was leaving Great Expressions on my one and only visit. The office staff began to get very rude and snippy between themselves, which left for an uncomfortable experience.

Negative experience: The receptionist is very rude, talks loudly and inappropriately while patients are in the waiting room as well as being seen. This office canmot keep dental professionals. Been a customer for this location for 5 years and in the 5 years weve had 4 different dentists. They also have no problem calling patients 1 hr before their appointment to cancel but when the patient needs to reschedule its an issue.

Fantastic experience: My son lost a filling late last night and I called them today and they were able to get me in same day and even stayed a little past close time to make sure he was all good. They did a fantastic job, my son was a little scared and nervous and they encouraged and helped him through it. Great job all around

Fantastic experience: I was treated courteously and professionally by all the staff from the time I entered until the time I left. Did not have to wait. Great service. Both Jenny and Lena are superb dental hygienists. Since this review, I have come for a teeth cleaning and X-ray exam. Again the hygienist and doctor were professional and great.

Negative experience: I was not happy at all. My wait time was long. They did over 15 X-rays that were quite painful and made me gag and many had to be repeated. I believe that was due to the tech errors. After all that, I was told I would have to wait an additional 1/2 hr for the hygentist to come in room and had already been there an hr. They only had one hygienist. I did not wait as that would have made my time there 2 hrs +. The doctor was nice, the technician was nice and so was the receptionist. But that does not make up for the wait and discomfort I experienced.

Negative experience: When they give me an estimate with the service, They seem did not get a good number upfront. I did my crown and it turns out I need to pay 200 more than what they told me first with the reason that I have already reach out my coverage. I paid that time. And they sent me another bill for the service I did 5 months ago with the same reason.

Negative experience: Just don’t, rudest front desk people of any establishment. Had been rude to me and my new dentist office even said they were rude when trying to obtain my X-rays. Just don’t go. They should not be in customer service. Also didn’t have the best dental experience any of the 3 visits and I’m done there.

Negative experience: Glad I got a 2nd opinion: turns out I don’t need half of the things they tried to surprise me with when I showed up for what I thought was a regular cleaning. Staff was nice, but the dental hygienist is the reason I will not be returning: they were unreasonable.

They’ve taken nothing but good care of my teeth since I’ve started coming here. Just Tuesday I had a old cracked tooth I hadn’t been able to handle because of finances and finally it became a serious issue for me, I came in to have it looked at and had it pulled out the same day with 0 issues. This is a great dentist office I would recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: I asked for a copy of my dental record as Well as the recommendation treatments Great Expressions is suggesting. I was sternly told that I couldn’t get one. I said I have never heard of this. A patient has every right to obtain a copy of their reports. So I called Patient Relations (Aaron). He apologized for this inconvenience.

Negative experience: *****update in 2023**** I had my 6-month checkup appointment today and this new office management staff refused to take me in because I kindly informed them that my insurance has changed since last time. When they called me to confirm my appointment yesterday they should have asked me and verified that but they failed to do so. The receptionist said only the office manager can call my insurance company and verify it and the manager was gone for the day. I was forced to go home and come back one month later which was the earliest availability for me. This is beyond unacceptable practice in handling existing customers insurance info. Why do they even hire someone who cannot even manage existing customers insurance info? I have been coming to this particular branch office since 2018. Since then the management team keeps switching around and the current management is the least friendliest from customer service standpoint. I like the dentist though. >my original review. The doctor in this office keeps switching but the current doctor is really nice. He does very thorough and neat job. Also the dentist assistant Trish is the best. She is always there throughout the time since I started going to this location and she is very knowledgeable about my teeth and very kind. She is one of the reasons why I keep going back to this location.

Fantastic experience: Today I had my first appt to have a tooth pulled. I went into my appt and left without the services I thought were to be performed. When I spoke with Dr. Jameel he stated that he would need to do the extraction at a later date so he didn't have to rush. Later on I got a call to come back because there was an opening. Dr Jameel was the best dentist I have ever had a pleasure of coming too. I will definitely recommend Great Expressions in Wixom to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: If you need dental work, this is the place to go! From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, you are taken care of. Everyone is friendly, the doctor is great, I haven't had a complaint, yet, and I've had to have new fillings and repairs on old fillings! I highly recommend this office!
