Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful hygienist, my teeth felt great afterwards! I've had this constant pain in a bridge I had done in August 14, 2014, he then replaced it June of 2015. I went to see if I needed a root canal, it wasn't needed. Dr.Dunwell sanded my bridge down on the side, NO PAIN AT ALL AFTER HE DID IT! I'm a happy girl, all those year's with mouth pain, and I do take care of my teeth! Thank you both for making me happy with my dental work!

I was somewhat nervous about going to a new dentist, so I got referrals from friends and family and decided to give Dunwell Dentistry a shot at being my new dentist. BEST DECISION I EVER! MADE! From the minute you walk in the door, you feel welcome and at ease. All the staff are friendly, caring and helpful. The facility is impeccably clean and all equipment is brand new, state of the art. Dr. Dunwell is so personable you are immediately comfortable, and then, of course, he is a fantastic dentist! He truly cares about you and your dental health. He offers his opinion and solutions, and then let’s you decide what’s best for you. I couldn’t be happier with my choice, and I hope that he will be my dentist for the next 40 years!!

Fantastic experience: I have had to find new dentists several times due to moving and this was the best "new patient" appointment I have ever had. Tara, my hygienist was very friendly and knowledgeable. My dental cleaning was great. Dr. Dunwell did a thorough exam and explained any problems and how to solve them in an easy to undestand manner. Fantastic experience: Disclaimer: not a patient. Just a local dentist who works with Dr. Dunwell. This office is fantastic. You walk in, and it's niiiiiiiice. Sugar cookies made by Dr. Ds mother. The reception area is cozy. Office is clean. Technology is omnipresent. Same day milling for crowns. Primescan so no more goopy impression material. The staff is happy. The Doctors are skilled. One thing that I really admire about this practice is that it is not in contract with insurance companies. This might seem negative, but in reality this highlights two things for me. 1. The doctors are skilled and the office is worth it. They are doing different and better work than other offices. You are getting more for your dollar by coming here. 2. You are not treated based on what is covered. If you have Metlife vs. BCBS vs. Delta, you will get treated the same. The treatment decisions for you are made independent of how much your insurance company will pay. It's completely objective. You get treated equally. And the good news is that you can still use and get reimbursed for your benefits. So if you do have Delta Dental, guess what, you'll still get to take advantage of that.

Fantastic experience: I've had about five dentists throughout my life. It would be an extreme understatement to say that Doctor Dunnwell is by far the best! Extremely nice, takes time to explain everything to you about what is happening with your teeth. And he doesn't overbook himself, so you aren't sitting in the chair forever doing nothing. Numbing shots done almost pain free! You can tell he very much cares about his patients! He isn't rushed, and takes special time and care to do the job perfectly! I can't say enough about him. Never been more pleased.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dunwell is a fantastic dentist. I had been with other dentists for years. and after switching to him, he immediately found out that I needed a root canal. that's what that weird feeling above my tooth was for all these years. no other dentist detected it! after he referred me to a fantastic root canal specialist, I was feeling A1 again. also, he provides the best and longest lasting bight guards, as I grind my teeth at night. Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I are new patients at Drs. Dunwell and Smalley's office. I am a retired dentist myself with over 40 years of experience, so I know what to look for in great dental care. This office excels at all levels of care from the initial contact to the end of services. Like a lot of businesses today, who ask for a great review, this is not the case, this review was not requested, but it is deserving because of the level of care they provide. Dr. Dunwell is a gifted dentist with great skill, touch, knowledge and delivery He has invested in the best equipment and dental materials and has been trained by the best instructors in the world, along with Dr. Smalley. Kim, the hygienist I saw was exceptional with her level of care and attention to detail. Jennifer, the receptionist, appointment coordinator, was also personable and responsive to any questions and ability to answer them and also very accommodating. Kendra, Dr. Dunwell's chairside assistant, was extremely caring and efficient with organizing and passing instruments as well as competence in performing chairside duties. Dr. Smalley went into the reception area to sit down and speak with a young girl about her next visit in a comforting manner to make that visit seem enjoyable and worry free! All in all, I cannot recommend this office enough to bring your loved ones in for dental care as they will be well cared for with an enjoyable visit and exceptional service. Fantastic experience: I am beyond impressed with this practice from top to bottom. The office and equipment are state of the art. You can tell that Dr. Dunwell invests in the best and most current technology and in his people as well. The administrative team and hygienists are all fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful first visit with Kim, the hygienist who oriented me to the practice, cleaned my teeth, and took x-rays! It was the best dental cleaning I’ve ever had, and I’m someone who gets my teeth perio-cleaned every 4 months! I look forward to returning in 4 months.

Fantastic experience: My 10yr old son needed to have a tooth removed. Dr Smalley was very kind and patient. She walked him through the procedure step by step and even tried to make it a little fun along the way(the tooth was dancing its way out!) He was very comfortable and everything went much better than I had expected!

Because she was in Chicago he consulted over the phone (pictures) and schedule her in right away. He was able to get her in and out the same day and the work he did was simply amazing! You can't even tell she cracked four front teeth! Quality work by a Doctor and staff who truly care!

Smiley was absolutely amazing and the amount of care she took making sure everything was perfect was way above what I would've ever expected. She communicated everything she was doing and even has a wonderful sense of humor. I don't like going to the dentist normally however she made this experience a 12 out of 10 and I will be happily returning here for lifetime dental. Will never go anywhere else for dental.
