Negative experience: I was a patient here for along time and had consistently bad experiences with both dentists. As someone with anxiety surrounding doctors/ dentists this environment was not comfortable. Dr. Petersburg was persistently pressuring me to make an appointment to fill 2 cavities. I followed my gut instinct and changed dentist offices , I showed my new dentist the work that Petersburg urgently wanted me to get done and my new dentist said that work was completely unnecessary for the time being.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Brighton Family Dentistry for over 25 years. They are a terrific organization Dr P and Dr G are great professionals and much of their staff has been there for over 20 years. Highly recommend them for your dental care.

Kelly, the hygenist was thorough and took extra time to answer my questions. The dentist, Dr. Giamalva is always welcoming and makes sure I am comfortable. The office is clean, modern, and organized. I would definitely recommend this office for anyone looking for a reliable and caring dental team.

After a very long two-year journey filled with multiple implants and some complicated dental issues, they helped put me back together-literally-and gave me the ability to function normally again. What could have been an overwhelming process was made manageable because of their compassion, patience, and consistent professionalism. Every step of the way, I felt cared for, supported, and genuinely listened to. It’s rare to find a team that blends clinical expertise with such kindness, but this office does exactly that. Reaching the end of this long road, I’m incredibly grateful for the quality of work they’ve done and the commitment they’ve shown. I’m so thankful to have a dental team that truly cares. Fantastic experience: BEST dentist I've ever had! Between the GREAT dental assistants, AND the dentists there, I am always happy with my treatment. On top of that, even when I have to get a filling or extra work done, it's not bad. The pain doesn't last as long as previous dentists I've had, and I always feel like the treatment was good. Would give 9,999 stars instead of 5 if I could.

Fantastic experience: Wow! That's the best way for me to sum up my experience with Brighton Family Dentistry. I'm very new to the area and found there are a lot of dentist's to choose from. I'm so glad I selected this one. They fit me in right away and made me feel welcome. While very professional, they are also very fun to be around. I thought I would never say this about going to the dentist but they make going to dentist fun! So much more I could say, and it's all good, but I'll sum it up with "Wow! I highly recommend Brighton Family Dentistry!"

Fantastic experience: I broke off an old crown on a front tooth Thursday at lunch. Since I was at a restaurant down the street I stopped at Brighton Dental and they were able to get me an appointment at 10am on Friday. Dr. G was able to complete the dental work and send me home with a temporary crown in a little more than an hour. The temporary crown fits and looks great! All in 24 hrs after the old crown broke. Brighton Family Dentistry is great!

I had to find a new Dentist and off to a new start with my mom who sadly has complex health decline _ some of which are her teeth. The road with the teeth emergencies have been difficult and painful but when we connected with Dr Petersburg and his kind staff- they do their best to care for my mother with compassion and grace. My husband was equally impressed and also has decided to see this Dentist. I realize they are a very busy office but never have they rushed us off nor have they given up on trying to help us with my mom's treatment plan. We are still trying to figure it out and mom and I truly appreciate their help. The office team have answered e mails and returned calls and have been the sweetest group of helpful administration. Dr Petersburg has even called privately to check in on my mom's condition and also explain what comes next. Thank you all for your hard work and for being the kind of Dentist office one wishes to go to. Going to a Dentist - is not always a pleasant experience for some_ but when one is treated the way one wishes to be treated- the extra dose of compassion and kindness seal the deal! Thank you! Negative experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Petersburg for over 15 years and I now bring my five-year-old daughter to his practice. My daughter recently had a cleaning and the dental hygienist was so incredibly dismissive, impatient, and unaware, whenI told her that my daughter's mouth was bleeding. That's how hard she was scrapping her teeth. So hard my daughter was flinching and whimpering. I understand that my daughter had more tarter on her teeth than usual but maybe if the hygienist had explained this or numbed my daughter's gums, the experience would have been more enjoyable. I absolutely have loved all my experiences with Dr. Petersburg and his staff up until this point. I was extremely disappointed At the time of checkout, as I was again, reminded, of my $300 balance. In order for me to make an appointment to take care of my cavity that I've had for eight or nine months, I need to take care of my balance. Money has never come before my dental health and it feels as though my economic status will not allow me to continue with the dentist of my choice. It saddens me that my dental health no longer is the main priority.

You could not find a more compassionate, professional, accommodating, and comfortable office to go to for dental procedures. They embrace new technologies in order to serve you better and continually educate themselves in advanced procedures. I would highly recommend this office if you are looking for excellence.

Negative experience: I would like to briefly share my experience with Brighton Family Dental. I was charged $595 for 4 right wing x-rays 2 fillings & lidocaine injections. Also My Humana insurance paid out I'm still trying to find out the total. # 7 seven tooth was excessively drilled out for a filling so now I feel pain from hot and cold. I went to another dentist who advised the tooth would need to be replaced. I asked the personnel at BFD front desk about billing which they replied they all do billing but was never given any estimates or idea of what the charges would be.I would take legal action except this would only lead to more aggravation. The caveat is buyer beware! I would not recommend Brighton Family Dental!
