Fantastic experience: My smile had declined over the years from old caps, gaps and discoloration. I spent years hiding my smile, and honestly, I think I had forgotten how to really smile. When I finally decided to get veneers, I knew this was a big decision and one I wanted to get right. I researched four different practices before choosing Michigan Dental Studio, and I could not be happier with my decision. Dr. Joleen Jabro is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met, but she is also a true artist. She went above and beyond every expectation I had. One of the reasons I chose Michigan Dental Studio was their process. I wanted to be able to see what my smile would look like, make changes along the way, and feel completely confident before the permanent veneers were finished. Dr. Jabro and her staff spent so much time at every step making sure everything was just right. I never felt rushed, and I truly felt that they cared as much about the final result as I did. Even the temporaries were incredible. My friends and family couldn't believe they were temporary veneers because they looked that good! And the entire staff is amazing. Jennifer, the office manager, is truly one of the people who helps hold everything together and keeps the entire experience running so smoothly. She does an incredible job helping with appointments, expectations and the financial side of the process, and you can tell how much she cares about the patients and the practice. Brittany is incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and such an asset throughout the process. Every hygienist and staff member I encountered was wonderful. I wish I could name everyone because this truly is an A+ team. I honestly don't have one complaint, one suggestion, or even the slightest thing I think they could have done better. From beginning to end, the care, attention to detail and kindness were exceptional. After years of hiding my smile, I finally have one I want people to see. Fantastic experience: I don’t have dental insurance and was pleased to see they have a yearly plan that you can purchase that includes 2 visits for cleanings for 385$. I’m pretty sure that beats paying for insurance elsewhere. I think Dr. Kyle is great. He remembers his patients and is warm and friendly. The hygienists do a great job. All in all it’s a great dentist experience.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my initial appointment...Dr Kyle spent most of the time telling me how "good" he is but not much time talking about my concerns! At the conclusion of.my evaluation, I was presented with an estimate that was not consistent with my understanding of the costs based on my prior conversations with the office representative (including a $5,000.00 charge just for anesthesia) I strongly urge anyone considering having dental work done to seek second opinions before doing so!

Fantastic experience: I went for a consultation and 2nd opinion. Found out that it was free, NO CHARGE! They took an x-ray, confirmed my tooth had a fracture. Dr. Kyle spent time explaining his recommendation and why he believed he could save my tooth. He was honest and said he doesn't make guarantees but that he does stand behind his work and if it wasn't successful he would apply any cost to further treatment. Fortunately, he had a cancellation and got me in the next week. I'm very glad that I got a 2nd opinion, it changed everything.

I moved to Howell a few years ago and dreaded finding a new Dentist, especially not knowing anyone in the area. Fortunately, I looked up and found Michigan Dental Studio. All of the employees made me feel very taken care of. They explained what they were doing, were friendly, efficient and most of all kind. Dr. Joleen got me in for an unexpected filling immediately and took great care of me. All of the employees were fun and professional and they even serenaded me with 80’s music during my filling They even recommended local places to eat and get a drink when they found out I was new! Happy to have a new Dentist to take care of while I’m in Howell. I’ll be looking forward to some Akon and T-Pain the next time I come through.

Fantastic experience: I desperately needed a dentist visit because of a bad tooth infection. I had left a message the day prior on a Sunday. Monday morning Kari the receptionist called me and let me know they had a same day appointment open. I had to have a tooth extracted. Ashley and Dr Kyle went to work and I feel like in less than 20 minutes I was in and out,feeling so much better. Everyone at the office was ecseptionally nice, caring and professional. Fantastic experience: As a person who avoided the dentist for roughly 25 years, it was a struggle to get me into the office. Once I got there, everyone was super nice and really helped out with my dental anxiety. While the diagnosis and treatment for such neglect was more than I expected (from a work standpoint), that’s what you get when you ignore your body for that long. The staff is great, everyone is personable and they go above and beyond to make the patients comfortable. I have zero issues going in for my appointments now, just knowing that they are doing everything possible to make the visits pain and anxiety free. Highly recommend. And, take care of your mouth - so many lingering health problems I have had are now gone now that my dental hygiene is where it should be. Have to throw a special thank you to Dr. Kyle, Brittany, Jen, and Ashley for making me comfortable in coming back. The rest of the group is awesome as well, super good people in the office. The process took a lot longer than expected, but doc honored the quote he originally gave me, regardless of the number of times I had to return. Fantastic experience: I moved here from Cleveland, OH in 2021 and while there always went at least twice a year to my dentist for cleanings - for well over 35 years. After moving to MI I got hooked up with a dental service on Grand River Road. Following a non-expected event, the Schaefer Dental Group acquired that business, and I've been seeing Dr. Manningham and feel he's a very good dentist. The improvements made to the facility there have been very professional and much needed. He has installed one crown and at least two cleanings and all is good for me. I can highly recommend Dr. Manningham and the entire practice at 8086 Grand River Road in Brighton, MI.

Fantastic experience: only had cleaning today but my new technician was pleasant and very gentle with my gums; she took the time to explain what she was going to do before she started the procedure.

Negative experience: This dental office recently transitioned to fluoride free treatment. I had been a patient for one to two years and they made this transition out of the blue with no warning, explanation or education. When I asked for a fluoride treatment or polish there was no other options. As someone in the medical field, it was extremely disappointing and frustrating to see the blatant disregard of proven, scientific, and evidence based practice without any warning or choice in the matter. In addition to this, on my last appointment day there was political coverage on the TV in my room while I got my exam. I asked for it to be turned off and was told no. I firmly believe politics do not belong in a professional workspace, especially one as vulnerable/stressful as a dental office. I feel dental providers should help make patients feel welcome and comfortable. I walked away from my last appointment feeling very disheartened.

My previous dentist sent me to an endodontist, who sent me back to the dentist, who sent me back to the endodontist until the two of them finally decided that they couldn’t save my tooth. I was told that Dr. Kyle was THE expert on dental implants, and based on my personal experience, I agree. The fact that Schaefer Dental provides “one stop shopping” with dentistry, endodontics, and even orthodontia in one office, is a great bonus. In addition, the office staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional, making for a fantastic overall experience. And in the ultimate test, the implant has stood the test of time. It’s been over a year and a half, and I never even have to think about the dental implant.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kyle Polasek is the best dentist/Oral Surgeon I have ever met in my entire life. He fixed the genetically poor teeth I inherited from my father and replaced all my upper teeth with implants. I’m going to have the bottom ones crowned to match the top ones. He was right. Bright white teeth make you look twenty years younger. He even fixed my wife’s clicking popping jaw with no surgery. Just some trays to realign her jaw. We had been to six dentists (no oral surgeons) and none of them knew how to fix it. It pays to go with the most educated. He has a really nice enjoyable personality too. Don’t let him get away. Fantastic experience: I have severe I mean severe panic and anxiety with going to the Dentist. I have never felt more at ease, informed and valued than I did on my visit 09/10/2024. The entire staff are phenomenal.
