Great Expressions Dental Centers - Novi

Fantastic experience: Under DMO plan, patient for 7 years and above. For emergencies they accommodated the same day or next day and treated very well to my satisfaction. Doctor Simoski is knowledgeable, friendly, confident. Explained totally in understandable manner and provided treatment. Our family is always very happy under his care!

I love the Novi Michigan Great Expressions: the doctor, my hygienist, and the office staff are professional, competent, and kind. Being that I am experiencing tangible improvment I heartily recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: New post! Woke up with horrible tooth/jaw pain... called and left message for them at 4:30am! I received a return call shortly after they opened and got me in to be checked out and am scheduled for 2 root canals next week! They are wonderful and genuinely concerned about their patients! ☆☆☆☆☆ + ☆☆☆☆☆! The entire experience was great. Dr. Simoski is the best dentist I've EVER had and his assistant, Wendy was amazing. I've been to 3 different Great Expressions facilities and have not been particularly satisfied but I'll be following Dr. Simoski wherever he goes (hopefully Wendy too!)

Fantastic experience: I could never put into words how pleased I am with the outcome of my experience here. The front staff is unbelievably friendly, courteous and helpful. They talked me down of the ledge in order to make an appointment because I have a morbid fear of dentist from childhood experiences. The dentist and assistant were patient and extremely thorough in explanations and in responding to my questions and doubts. I was given a variety of options for treatments with pros and cons and pricing. The office is clean and orderly. The only negative thing is one of the staff moved to Florida and she will be missed. The whole staff did an excellent job making me comfortable and at ease. That goes a long way! I would definitely say if you need dental work THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!

At my most recent visit, the office staff greeted me warmly, Katie got me all set up and took my x-rays, and Justine did her usual great job cleaning my teeth. During my exam, Dr. Simoski discovered a small cavity, so I was planning to make a follow-up appointment. Wendy let me know she had an open procedure room right then, saving me a return trip. She got everything ready and assisted Dr. Simoski as he quickly filled the cavity. It was painless and done so efficiently! Thank you to everyone at GEDC Novi for a great dental experience!

Negative experience: Really bad service..!! The receptionist lady - Jennifer called me. They rescheduled my first appointment saying my old x-rays are not valid. Later scheduled me for next month and called a week ago to tell me that they have only one doctor and he is on vacation on the scheduled day. They ask me to reschedule for another month. So for one appointment, they asked to wait for more than 2 months. I ended up giving up on them and decided to never consider them.

Fantastic experience: As always Dr. Petar Simoski and his staff are efficient and thorough. I had a sore tooth and I was able to get an appointment quickly; that exact day. They worked until they found the root of the problem. They gave me a temporary crown and sent me.on my way. Everyone was kind and courteous and made sure all of my needs were met. I knew before they began the procedure how much I would have to pay out of pocket and made sure I was able to pay. There were no hidden fees. I would recommend Great Expressions Novi Dental team to anyone.

Dental hygienist, Justine, is always friendly, willing to thoroughly answer dental hygiene questions and has even taken the time to show me the correct techniques for brushing and flossing. Negative experience: Worst service ever! I will never go back. They refused to perform the standard cleaning service which is covered 100% by my insurance claiming that I need to pay extra money to get the cleaning done. Scam! Looking for any way to make money off of you. Not recommended!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff! I hadn’t been to the dentist in 15 years, and they were all so incredibly nice and helped me through everything. Jennifer Rickett helped me get an appointment quickly, and was very thorough and helpful with my insurance. She honestly had me at ease just getting the appointment made. Dr. Simoski was super friendly and attentive, we had a few laughs, and he was great at explaining things to me. I will continue to use this facility for all of my dentistry in the future. I don’t know my X-ray techs name, but she was also super nice! The entire experience was absolutely 10/10. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Theee best experience at a dental office! I needed an emergency appointment. After calling 3 locations with no one having a sense of urgency I called the 10 mile Novi office. I was able to get a same day appointment. Everyone in this office from the minute I walked in the door was warm, welcoming, caring, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The dentist and his assistant worked together flawlessly. I walked out an hour later with a crown and in no pain. Thank you for a great experience! I highly recommend the Novi Great Expressions location.

Fantastic experience: My bridge fell out while water picking. I stopped by to see when the next appointment window was. Other than being toothless, it must have been my luck day! Doctor Simoski was able to fit me in instead of eating his lunch. 30 minutes later, I was grinning like a cheshire cat again and going about my day! These guys are great.

Positive experience: The service was friendly and great. Dentist is very thorough in review of condition of teeth and makes suggestions for improvement. Hygienist was very gentle, thorough and explained what she was seeing and provided suggestions for improved home care.

Positive experience: I came in for a cleaning and that went well. I was somewhat disappointed about your recordkeeping. I submitted a secondary dental insurance to visit ago, but your office did not have any knowledge of my secondary dental coverage. The person that I spoke with, didn’t appear to have any urgency to correct the problem and didn’t ask me to submit the insurance again, which I found strange and somewhat uninterested.

Fantastic experience: I had a GREAT experience at the Novi location from beginning to end, the first person I talked to was Daniel he immediately calmed my nerves he was patience and let me know that they would fit me in because of the pain I was experiencing with losing one of my fillings he definitely deserves a RAISE Wendy the assistant to Dr. Simoski was excellent! And Dr. Simoski gets an A+ he was Professional Gentle and Caring this office deserves a 10 .

Fantastic experience: So this is my finances dentist and he loves them. They have worked wonders and have done amazing with him so far. I finally got up the courage to go to the dentist and I wanted to go here but unfortunately, they don't take my insurance. The nice man I talked to Daniel, helped me find a new dentist in the area and really just went above and beyond and i can't even be a patient there. He was one of those people that you rarely come across and you don't see much of that these days.

Negative experience: I recently had a disappointing experience at PETAR SIMOSKI’s office. I was refused an appointment for a routine dental cleaning because I am pregnant, with the insistence that I needed a notice from my OB. Furthermore, they insisted that I undergo an X-ray before the cleaning, despite my pregnancy, or delay the cleaning until after delivery. This advice contradicts the recommendations I received from other dental professionals, who advised that while X-rays can be delayed, routine dental cleanings are essential and safe during pregnancy. I am very dissatisfied with the lack of flexibility and understanding from this GREAT EXPRESSION office and have decided to change my dentist. I hope this review helps other patients make a more informed decision when choosing their dental care provider.

Negative experience: This place is getting terrible after Dr.Mada lift, the lady working on the front desk is rude and the the lady does the cleaning she always come with the excuse to get away from doing her job, I went for a routine cleaning and she did not have time to do it and she told me to come back for a treatment plan cost $900 for one time visit thing, wasting my time driving there. They can’t keep there stuff every time somebody new.

Negative experience: It’s incredible that the first person you talk to when you come into the location and/or talk to when you call, can be that incredibly rude. I couldn’t even give her my information without feeling her attitude over the phone. Asked to speak with someone else and she denied me.

Fantastic experience: All the staff at the Novi location were excellent and I highly recommend. The doc is really good, have been to a family dentist before and this doc is as good or even better. Takes good care of me and my dental needs.

Negative experience: I have consistently had terrible experiences at multiple great expressions locations. They have long wait times, poor customer service and proceed with negligent practice. My experience: I had a bad cavity that was VERY close to my roots. Dr. Johnston at the Farmington location gave me a filling that proceeded to cause me extreme sensitivity. I voiced my concerns about the pain and was told, "It's going to be sensitive", and she suggested a mouth guard. This filling only lasted a few months before I felt extreme pain. My tooth had died from the truama, an abcess formed and needed a root canal. The proceedure was a failure. After waiting 2 weeks, with 2 consultations at 2 different locations. I was told it'd be another 2 weeks before I could get my root canal procedure done. That's 28 days of living with this abcess. I explained it was an emergency, but that didn't help. This has been a huge waste of time, money and caused me months of pain. When I voiced my frustration and asked for customer service, I was given a phone number. I've waited on hold for hours, left my number for a call back and have still not been contacted. Customer service is TERRIBLE. I genuinely feel I deserved compensation towards my root canal for the failed cavity filling. It's safe to say I will NEVER come back to any Great Expressions. I also wouldn't recommend anyone else does either. They aren't interested in helping their patients.

Negative experience: Do not go here. I had 2 places, and my insurance, tell me that a crown would be $97 for prep and $460 for crown. I came here and they tried to tell me it was going to be $998 and were very rude like I was the wrong one. Then tried to say my appt was considered an emergency so will prob be billed, despite being scheduled for well over a week. I walked out and went to another place who also gave the same $97 and $460 quote. If 4 places all had same price and theirs was double, clearly are trying to price gouge patients. Happily went to Art Dental and had great experience.

Negative experience: I have been a regular at the Sterling Heights Great Expressions for years. Moved to Novi, so I tried to switch offices. It was a mistake. The receptionist is extremely rude. I had scheduled an appointment for my 6 month routine cleaning. The dentist was friendly and had no concerns about my teeth. The hygienist sent the receptionist in to tell me that I need a deeper cleaning. Proceeds to tell me she doesn't have time for that and I would have to schedule again, but there are no available appointments (ever?). So apparently now I have to wait for them to call when they feel like doing my cleaning. It was a waste of my time. I had an appointment for a cleaning at the SH office that I cancelled to come here and I so regret it. I know I would have left that office with my cleaning done. We won’t be back to the Novi Great Expressions.

Negative experience: They give appointments immediately for cleaning, and when you are at the clinic, it takes an hour to consult with x-rays but ask you to make an appointment another day for cleaning!! At least they should tell the people what to expect on this schedule. Wasted my half day of work time!!‍♀️
