Dr. Thomas R. Dix, DMD

Fantastic experience: I moved to South Cobb 12 years ago. Was looking for a dentist for 3 years and went through five dentist before I found Dr. Dix. Came across Dr. Dix and he immediately found out what was wrong with my tooth. Been a client going on 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. He is very knowledgeable with excellent customer service from hisself and his staff. If you are looking for a dentist who knows what he is doing, with great customer service and affordable I highly recommend Dr. Dix.

Fantastic experience: West Cobb Dental Studio is it! From the time you walk in, you can tell that there is a lot of pride in the practice. It is incredibly neat. They have a little drink station which is a sweet plus. The staff knows you by face and they show care all the way to when it is time to work with insurance. I have been seeing Dr. P. I LOVE THAT HE LISTENS INTENTLY and works to address your concerns and actually cares about your feedback! As a black woman I am aware of the statistics that speak to the way our pain and opinions are dismissed in Healthcare. I am grateful that is something I do NOT have to worry about here. I am under treatment for invisalign. I'll keep you all posted on how this goes since I cant quite comment and review this aspect just yet. But so far, im rating the practice a 5.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Thomas Dix has been my dentist for many years. He is an excellent dentist. If you have any problems with novocaine like unable to use it or maybe your nerves run wrong in your mouth, all of above like mine and you really hate to go to the dentist because you can't get deaden, he's your man. He's always calm, kind and very thoughtful of his patience making sure they're never in any pain. He has moved over to West Cobb Dental Studios in Powder Springs. All of the Dr. Staff are very kind and patient. Really, Love Olga she does a great cleaning. Can't remember the other girl but I know it starts with a T was great with the x-rays. Very thorough. So if you're looking for a good dentist, give them a try. They're very well set up, organized and very clean.

Fantastic experience: Front office communication needs improvement. Otherwise, great office. Dr. Pooya Hoseinzadeh is amazing and caring. The dental hygienist, Jennifer is definitely amazing and gentle. Friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I got there super early not realizing my appointment was at 10 and not 9 AM. The young lady at the front office offered me coffee when I told her I did not drink coffee. She offered me some tea which I said yes to. She even had honey which I love that was so kind she shared her honey with me. Once they were ready I was called in and my hygienist Tiffany is excellent. She does a thorough and wonderful job! I had x-rays done, and the young lady doing the x-rays was very kind as well. They make you feel welcome, at ease, and like you’re the only one at the office! I saw the doctor at the end of my appointment, and all was great! The office is welcoming, but the people make you want to come back.

Fantastic experience: My family has used this practice for 25 plus years. Always professional and caring! Crown needed to be cemented back on and I was seen almost immediately! Love you guys!!! Highly recommend!

I am so lucky to have found this dental practice. I feel so comfortable when I sit the chair. Nerves goes out the window. UPDATE: 2/13/25. Today I had the pleasure of Dr Dix being my dentist because Dr.H was on an emergency. Dr Dix was so amazing, so patient, so reassuring. He told me I was in control and he checked in with me with every step to make sure that I was comfortable and everything was okay. He is very personable and made me feel comfortable laughing and talking.... felt like I've known him for years! You cannot go wrong at this dental practice you really feel like family here!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the wrong dentist all my life I guess. Dr. Dix and the dental assistant did a wonderful job removing a couple of my teeth. I couldn’t believe it. No Pain!!! The shots didn’t hurt at any point. Those are what usually hurt so bad and I believe the other dentist I have seen just didn’t know where to put the shots. They always hit a bone or nerve which was just awful. This is the best dental team! Not only is Dr. Dix extremely knowledgeable about the work he is doing for you but his assistant, Head really knows her stuff. Each of them shared the plan the steps and what I needed to know may happen during the procedure. They were so very patient and kind! Best dentist visit I ever experienced. If you need a great dentist this is the place to definitely go to.

Fantastic experience: I have known Dr. Dix since 1983… When he retires, I’m not sure I will go to anyone else! Lol! His entire staff is kind, compassionate, efficient, and they are amazing, at taking care of dental cowards like myself lol! They even bring me in a fuzzy fleece blanket every time I come in… I have referred multiple people to them, and I have never once heard anyone to complain, and never one time been disappointed in my choice. ❤️. You can NOT go wrong with thus practice for your dental care… AND, the ALL, habla Espanol!! Fantastic experience: I am so thrilled to visit my dentist! Dr. DIX AND DR "H" ARE AMAZING! I got Dr. H this time and I was a little worried to start out. I had an upper tooth pulled (#4) and in the past I had some lengthy and difficult extractions. Dr. H complete my extraction quickly and painlessly! Vanessa their business manager was well prepared and handled my account perfectly. She is kind,compassionate and always maintains an attractive appearance. Heidi and the rest of the staff have always greeted me with a smile and maintained an attractive appearance to themselves as well as the office surroundings. My only criticism is that they dont perform everything dental. I dont really want to go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Great knowledgeable staff! They pointed out some things I didn’t know about my mouth. I needed a little filling and the Dr was able to do it without a numbing needle. That is always good!

It is great to be able to go to a dentist office that service the whole family. I love it! Dr. Dix was referred to me over 10 years ago, and my son's ( 5 and 13 years old) love it! If you are choosing a dentist office for the first time for your child or family, this is the best dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Today was a routine hygiene appt, but I had an issue with an existing filling. They completed my cleaning and got me an early appt for the next morning to resolve my filling issue.

Negative experience: The doctor is great but the way they run their business seems racist and classist because ive never heard of making people wait until the insurance pays for one procedure to get more work done. Instead of using a pretreatment estimate I was made to wait ti get much needed work done. It was hard to eat and there was no care about that. They could have used the estimate for me to pay the difference and if I owed allowed me to pay the rest. However, I do believe because I am a black and disabled person, I believe they made me wait because they felt I would not be able to afford the treatment. I really want to finish my treatment elsewhere but I can’t because I started the process with them. I am aware how much the treatment is and can afford it without the insurance regardless! I needed work and its very inhumane that they didn’t consider this prior to starting my treatment. Please find another place to get dental treatment!!!!!!!!!!!!i would give them no stars if I could due to the staff!!!!

He listen to my major concern and forcus on it. He gave me a great solution for it. Now I am able to move forward and get my dental problem solve and back on track.This team really deserve five stars and for they professionalism and making sure that they listen and explain I am grateful that I was referred to a amazing establishment .
