Fantastic experience: Today i went for a cleaning usually hate those lol. The staff is amazing as always. Friendly. Kind. Sweetest and best smiles. But let me tell you about Thanh (i hope i spelled his name right). As mentioned I hate cleaning. It’s painful, they pull your mouth, burst your lip, then put that little cut on the side of your mouth whatever it’s called lol but today I had a totally different experience. Makes me wanna get cleaning more often. He did mentioned that he was in school, I hope you guys keep him. The most gentle , check in on you make sure you’re good cleaning ever. I was expecting the worse and got the best experience ever. Thank Thanh. Good luck in school, you are truly amazing and care about your patience. See u in 6 months. lol fingers crossed.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a dental office. From the moment I walked in, I didn’t feel welcomed. The front desk staff came across as cold and unapproachable, and when I had questions about the pricing, I felt like no one cared to explain things clearly. A dental office is different from most businesses. People often come in with pain, anxiety, or fear, and the first people they interact with are the front desk staff. Those employees should make patients feel comfortable, listened to, and respected—not like they’re just another transaction. I decided not to move forward with my appointment because I no longer felt confident or comfortable there. Professionalism, kindness, and clear communication should be the standard, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Fantastic experience: On 7/3/26 Dr Z and Crystal did a good job today. That stubborn wisdom tooth gave them trouble but they got it out. Pain you say not during the whole things. Just about an hour after is where the real fun began. But again I wanted to say thank you to the two of them for making this 51 year young women at ease and comfortable and out of pain. This is the team you want to have when you have a pulling of a tooth. Thank you Dr. Z and Crystal.

Negative experience: Do you have yourself a favor and do not go to this office if you’re looking for professional orthodontic services I got my Invisalign treatment here and I’m dissatisfied. I should’ve went with my gut when things were disorganized I couldn’t get a quote quickly and the doctor popped in for five minutes and popped out at the beginning of my treatment, but I went against my better judgment and chose this office because the price was a little bit cheaper and It was conveniently located so I thought the orthodontic services travels from Office to Office so if you do need a treatment on a day or time that they’re not at the office that you aren’t located near, you will have to do a drive anyway. They change the doctor in the middle of my treatment with no notification. The front office communicates poorly. There’s been times where I’ve had to drive down and not be seen or I got no notification that I needed to bring something or how to prepare for my appointment only to waste a drive and get an I’m sorry. They do not utilize all of the Invisalign technology with tracking your progress. Every single thing has been late delayed and unorganized. Trust your gut and do not go to this office for orthodontic treatment!

Fantastic experience: It took me til today to give the best dentist in the world a review!! Let’s start off with this amazing assistant Aaron he was so kind and friendly yet professional. He made sure I knew everything that was gonna happen and the steps it took. He held my hand and didn’t leave my side while helping the amazing Dr Muina. Dr Muina is the best. He seen something others didn’t when I visited their office and told me what was best for me in that moment instead of letting me go home in pain. He was calm and patient as can be when it came to me with needles. Im not going to no other doctor but him. He’s the best!!!!! I recommend them both out of the smyrna Georgia location.!

Fantastic experience: Immediate warm and friendly greeting ! Everyone was professional and friendly from the front desk throughout the back and throughout the entire visit! My hygienist whom I believe name was charlotte knew that I had a sensitivity issue with my teeth and was very gentle throughout my procedure. The front desk gave me my paperwork with all information including what my copays might be, total for any work that needed to be done everything, I honestly didn’t have a single question to ask! They provided me with everything and ready to schedule my next appointment to have it all immediately taken care of now THATS EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service! Well done Mint Density! I highly recommend them to all!

Negative experience: UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM. 41/2 hour appointment. At least 5-6 people was in the tiny room at one time. At one time while dentist was out of room, someone unknown to me came in and started doing something in my mouth. He didn’t introduce himself nor inform me of what his role was. When the dentist came back she just started drilling again and at this point my novacaine had wore off so I screamed out in pain. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience at Mint Dentistry in Smyrna. I must say I took a chance on finding a new dentistry. My husband referred me to Mint Dentistry and I have not been disappointed. This is my 3rd visit to this location. Today was a wonderful experience. I was greeted by Aaron, dental assistant and serviced by Dr. Maina. They were a duo team, got me in and out as scheduled and I experienced no pain. They handled me with extreme care. I recommend you paying them a visit to secure your dental well being.

Fantastic experience: I had my appointment at Mint Dentistry and honestly, for the first time in my life, going to the dentist was actually a pleasant experience. I have very sensitive teeth, and even for regular cleanings I usually need anesthesia because of the pain. This time, Charlotte worked her magic — she did a deep cleaning with no anesthesia and, unbelievably, no pain at all. Her hands are truly amazing. Afterward, Dr. Zubillaga did an excellent job diagnosing a tooth that I thought needed to be extracted and gave it a second chance. She was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process. I truly think I found my safe place when it comes to dental care. Highly recommend this team to anyone who gets anxious about going to the dentist.

Positive experience: Appt made because my tooth broke and the sharp part of my broke tooth was rubbing against my tongue causing discomfort. They could not do anything about it unless I had $$ to start the procedure for a crown. Since I did not have the $$ I have to deal with the discomfort until I get the $$ to start the procedure. Staff was ok. Young lady that checked me in clearly was new as she was nervous explaining how much $$ I would have to pay for the work to be done and was assisted by a no name employee. Music in my opinion should be some type of jazz or instrumental as the songs being played were all secular which I don't mind but I don't want to hear I'll blank you real good playing in the background. The office decor was nice. Aaron and Dr M were also nice. Convenient location. I was also offered financial assistance which was a plus. I will be back. Follow up review.... Made an appointment to return to get my crown. When I arrived the receptions asked me why am I here . Explain to her that I was initially here on the 9th and I was returning to get my crown repaired. The price quoted to me went up $400 AND they could not find my initial quote. Ended up walking out still needing a crown for my broken tooth. Terrible terrible service. Will not recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: I drive down 75 and I see billboards of Mint dentistry, all down 75 but the crazy thing is that nobody is smiling in any of the billboards and isn’t that what you are promoting healthy teeth just a question?

Negative experience: Don’t go to this location. They will act as if they have availability and you get there waiting 2-3 hours for NOTHING. Too many kids work in here as well . Too much playing not enough working. It takes them about a hour to print out a treatment plan. Today , another waste of time. I asked for the manager Kim she never came but yet sending messages through the people through the front desk who don’t know what they are doing.

Fantastic experience: I had a periodontal cleaning at the Smyrna location with Charlotte, dental hygienist. Charlotte was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Her skill put me at ease. I had some discomfort and Charlotte took immediate action, solved the problem and continued with my cleaning. She answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed. I also loved the fact she practiced good hand hygiene (changed her gloves ).

Fantastic experience: I just had the greatest experience I do not like going to.the dentist , but Aaron the dental assistant was phenomenal he helped me ,he allowed me to squeeze his hand in my nervenous, he was so kind an helpful and funny, the Dentist Dr. Marina he was very comforting as he did my dental procedure ,very professional. Negative experience: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your office and to request a full refund of the $199 I paid for your annual dental plan. When I enrolled in your plan, I was clearly informed that the annual fee of $199 included a free initial cleaning, assuming it was a basic cleaning. Additionally, the materials I received stated that a deep cleaning, if needed, would cost $100. At my appointment, after being examined by the dentist, I was told I required a deep cleaning. Based on the plan information provided to me, I understood this would cost an additional $100. However, after waiting in the chair for over 45 minutes without any communication or follow-up from staff, I was informed by a front office employee that the cost would instead be $260. When I presented the documentation outlining the pricing I had been given, I was told that the deep cleaning referenced in the plan was “not the same kind” as the one I required. This distinction was never disclosed to me prior to my appointment and represents a lack of transparency and misleading communication. Due to this inconsistency and the unprofessional handling of the situation—including the excessive wait time and lack of clear explanation—I chose not to proceed with any treatment and requested a refund. I was told that someone named Kim would contact me regarding this matter. To date, I have not received any follow-up communication. Given these circumstances, I am requesting a full refund of the $199 I paid for the annual plan. If I do not receive a response or resolution within a reasonable timeframe, I will proceed with filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and any other appropriate consumer protection agencies. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Dr. Z and the entire dental team! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Z is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and genuinely cares about her patients. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. It had been over 12 years since I went to the dentist which I was ashamed of but they didn't bat an eye or judge me at all, instead just continued to give me the best plan based on my exams while not overwhelming me with all the information and pricing at one time. Budget friendly as they offer payment plans. If you are looking for a dentist who is skilled, compassionate and attentive, I highly recommend Dr. Z!

Negative experience: I only gave two stars because the staff is very friendly but the doctor is very questionable, I ultimately decided that, I wasn’t comfortable with him working on my mouth at all. I was very uncomfortable, all I wanted was a deep cleaning and he started coming up with all these different things, to make the price, go up more. Just felt like it was a money grab. I just rather take my chances at another dentist or get a second opinion because I don’t trust his opinion at all. but ultimately the staff is very friendly and I really appreciate them.

It was stubborn too but I ddnt feel a thing if you hate the dentist and are scared of needles at all of the above, then you can come here in addition to the great dental service. The staff is so sweet and caring as well as the prices are amazing with insurance even without. I highly recommend it

Positive experience: I had the pleasure of meeting and getting my teeth cleaned and examined by the Smyrna team. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was calming, and the hygienist, “Chi-Town,” was especially gentle and thorough. All of the ladies made the experience very comfortable. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because when I made the appointment, no one informed me that my insurance was out of network, which resulted in higher out-of-pocket costs than I expected. I do feel that’s something patients should be clearly told upfront. As expected, something was found during the exam. One of my older silver fillings needs to be replaced with a crown, which would cost nearly $700 out of pocket. I’ll be checking with my insurance company to see about getting that completed in-network. Overall, the staff and service were great — I just wish the insurance details had been communicated more clearly beforehand.

Negative experience: Please do not go here. They going to tell you that a teeth cleaning in exams will cause a $199. Once you pay and you be done, taking pictures, they gonna tell you that the finance person going to come in and talk to you.And charge you an extra $260 for a teeth cleaning so they wanted $460 for cleaning my teeth. Doctor said she recommend my teeth be deep clean. I get my teeth clean every 6 months. I did not need a deep clean. $199 that you spent when you first arrived at the location will be just for pictures.Images. MINt is a scam. When I booked my appointment on the phone for $199 he said everything include a basic teeth cleaning. Images and also a free teeth whiting sample. I got nothing but some images that cost $199

Negative experience: This place is the biggest scam do not go here to get your teeth cleaned regular dentists have much more reasonable prices. After being told if I pay for the freedom plan I’ll get two cleanings included I show up for my second cleaning and they say minimum you have to pay $60 ok whatever still not too bad. After waiting for an hour and a half in the chair they finally come up and tell me oh actually your cleaning is going to be $260 because you have a little inflammation. How this place has high reviews I have no idea I was scammed go to a regular dentist the most you’ll pay without insurance is $100.

Negative experience: They are still rolling over calls to corporate office and not calling patients back. Even for dental pain. I just spent almost two hours today on the phone with them ( my 6th day/attempt to get my records so I can go to a different provider) My new appt is at 7am tomorrow. I have communicated this in every communication. I left voicemails and their corporate office has made several tasks. Still no records. Today the Smyrna Manager finally picked up, and said she did not know how to email me my records, asked the front desk person to do it. told me it would take 5 mins. Had me on hold for 40 minutes. No check ins. Then just hung up on me. I am now back on the phone with their corporate office. It's been another 40 mins on hold. He can't get them to pick up either. I still don't have my records. What good are fancy couches when a paying patient can't get basic customer service? Buyer Beware.

Positive experience: Trash in the bathroom and the lobby aren’t filled and the both bathrooms aren’t properly stocked. Yesterday wasn’t a holiday so how did the staff leave without tending to the trash and cleanliness of the restrooms??

Negative experience: Came in for a cleaning today, exam and X-rays complete but 2.5 hours later no cleaning. Just unacceptable. They do not value your time and overbooking is a problem

Fantastic experience: Crystal and the doctor were both great, and there were no issues at all. I cannot remember the doctor’s name, but she was a female. The front desk staff member with the reddish hair was amazing and went out of her way to make sure I was fully taken care of. The teeth whiten was amazing.

Negative experience: Every time I go there, there’s an issue with something. Either I’m waiting a long time to be seen or the doctors are rude. It’s always something. I go back because it’s convenient however, I don’t know that I’ll be going back again. most recently my insurance expired and I had new insurance so I showed up with it but due to their lack of processes, they couldn’t process it right now and told me that I’d have to reschedule. Ruby at the front desk is not very pleasant either I would go somewhere else unless there’s a reason to go here

Positive experience: New here, it’s my 3rd visit and each time there’s a line at the door and only one person at the front desk. It’s not the front desk fault as they’re only one person and moving as fast as they can and making sure everyone gets their personalized assistance. I’m not sure if they are understaffed or if I just have bad luck but I believe there should be more staff based on scheduled appts to help at the front desk. Last time it took me 20 minutes to be checked in. This throws off everyone’s schedule. Other than that the staff seem nice and the doctor was very informative and nice. Dr. Z

She was informative and specific for my concerns and she didn’t make me feel like I’ve been doing a terrible job at taking care of my teeth. I am used to hygienist spending the entire time talking about what you need to do better and she did not do that which I greatly appreciate.

Negative experience: haven’t had many positive experiences here overall, but I will say the front desk staff and the hygienists have always been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. Unfortunately, my experiences with the dentist, Dr. Maina, have been the complete opposite. His demeanor comes across as dismissive, disengaged, and generally negative. The energy in the room changes the moment he walks in, and it does not feel patient-centered or professional. While he may have the clinical qualifications, he lacks the people skills and bedside manner that are essential when working directly with patients. Because of this, I would never feel comfortable allowing him to work on my mouth again. I can’t imagine I’m the only one who has felt this way, and I truly hope these concerns are taken seriously for the sake of both patients and staff.

Negative experience: The free whitening is such a hassle. First they ran out of the solution and had to reschedule me. Next, when I came in to get the impressions done, they ran out of time to give me the solution because they had too many customers. I came back to pick up the solution as told and they had misplaced my impression. They asked me to begin the process over with more impressions. SMH the time, gas, and patience that it has cost me, I have definitely paid for this free whitening (if I ever get it).

Even before the actual visit - booking my appointment, new patient paperwork, a confirmation text AND call - Mint was on top of it. Walking into the actual office the vibe was very calm and relaxing, and the staff up front were friendly and helpful (and funny!). I was seen quickly, and every step was explained clearly and concisely. Special shout-out to Crystal - she listened to me, paid attention, and adjusted easily as necessary, not to mention she was really sweet and funny. Negative experience: I never knew that any dentist was allowed to deny service until I started going to this place! I'm from New York n I never was told that I had to get a deep clean or not be treated this is all new to me I understand that mint recommended a deep cleaning but whatever happens to my teeth due to my own negligence is my problem especially when they had me sign a waiver denying the deep cleanse I've had gingivitis and the gum bleeding that goes along with it so I know what it looks like I have nowhere near those types of problems anymore so long story short this place feels like nothing more than a money grab to me I'll just have to go to another local dentist n see if they will put me through the same type of foolishness maybe it's a georgia thing I don't know

Negative experience: I would not recommend MINT Dentistry – Smyrna. As a long-time patient, I was extremely disappointed to find out that despite all my visits, I was never given a proper gum evaluation or periodontal check. Just two weeks after a routine cleaning at MINT, I went to a new dentist who immediately performed a full gum assessment and diagnosed me with gingivitis—something that was completely overlooked at MINT. This was not mentioned at all during my cleaning—which is honestly scary. On top of that, I was quoted over $1,300 out-of-pocket for basic fillings, even with insurance. Several items were labeled as “over annual max” and billed fully to me without any clear explanation or transparency. After comparing with other providers, the pricing felt like blatant price gouging. Patients deserve thorough care and honest billing, and unfortunately, I received neither. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentistry and strongly encourage others to carefully review their options before trusting this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Mint Dentistry thanks to Beverly, my hygienist, and Kim at the front desk. Kim was welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process easy and pleasant. Beverly was thorough, and made me feel completely at ease during my cleaning. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out and made my visit exceptional.

Walking in I was greeted like family and treated as such the entire time by Lamarr and Crystal and Charlotte! Ps. This place is too cute!

Negative experience: I’ll start off by saying that I love the dentist, so I hate leaving this review. I’ve gone to this location (the Smyrna, Ga location) several times for teeth cleanings and was told by the doctor that I needed to get one of my wisdom teeth removed that was causing a cavity on the tooth next to it during my last teeth cleaning. I was told that I could have that procedure done in house. Last Thursday (05/29), I came in to get that procedure done. As soon as I came in, I was directed to check in, sign the waivers, and pay upfront which I did. Next, when I went back to get the tooth pulled, the doctor made sure to let me know that he really good at what he does and that he would take care of me. While I was in the chair he asked about the pharmacy to send some meds to and talked about pain medication he would prescribe for me including a narcotic. To be honest, I rarely take medications and was leery about taking narcotics. I was hesitant about filling them right away if they were just pain medications since I wouldn’t be able to work if I took them. Plus this was my first time getting a tooth pulled, so I wasn’t sure what my pain levels would be. After the dentist pulled the tooth, he made sure to say again how really good he was at pulling teeth and left shortly afterwards. After the dentist left, I spit a piece of my tooth out and was asked by the dental assistant if “that was all”. I told her I thought so, but my mouth was numb and I honestly didn’t know. After that, I was scared and kind of “out of it”. The dentist assistant told me about a few other medications I’d be taking but I didn’t fully understand her and was not in the mind frame to receive anything. She gave me a gauze, then took it off to do an X-ray. After the X-ray, she walked me out to the lobby, where I was handed 2 papers about dry socket and I heard someone say at the desk say that I could leave because I paid already. I have to be honest and say that I didn’t fill those prescriptions since I just remember the doctor telling me about pain medications, I was shaken after still having a piece of my tooth in my mouth after the fact and I just wanted to go home. None of the papers I received had a list of the medications that were being prescribed to me. I just handled my own pain management and swelling through Friday and the weekend, but the pain and swelling kept getting worse. I was also concerned because I felt another object in my mouth where the tooth was extracted which I later found out were stitches. This was wasn’t explained to me and I didn’t know if those needed to be removed, but they kept poking my gums. I made an appointment for today to go for a follow up since I was in a better frame of mind, but the doctor was very dismissive. I told him about the tooth fragments still in my mouth and that I was in pain. He asked if I had taken the medication prescribed, and I told him no because the meds weren’t properly explained to me and I was kind of “out of it”. He told me I was in pain because I didn’t take the medication, that it was a surgical procedure and it was a “no brainer”. He said several times that I wouldn’t be in pain if I had just taken the meds. He didn’t address the piece of the tooth left in my mouth. He just continued to put the blame on me for not taking the meds prescribed. The dental assistant did end up hand writing the prescription names and what they were for, but the doctor barely looked at my mouth, said there was nothing left in there, finally showed me the X-ray that I took on Thursday, then left the room. I felt as if I was bothering him. After the medications were properly explained to me by the dental assistant, I did fill the prescriptions and I had a very caring pharmacist that walked me through everything. I hate to feel like I’m a burden as a patient. I was genuinely concerned after having surgery and was treated as if I didn’t matter. I would just say that maybe this location isn’t the best for anything other than routine checkups and a teeth cleaning. I’m hoping for a better experience at another location.

Negative experience: I’ve been to this office several times giving them chance after chance. I have made up my mind that I will be finding a new dental practice as of today. They over book and you sit and wait forever, they add on unnecessary things to your treatment plan such as fillings to make sure their revenue builds. This is a chain game dental practice that is money hungry and does not have the patients best interest to think about it. Keep this foolishness up MINT and you will not be around for long.

Fantastic experience: I was truly given a VIP experience at Mint Dentistry on S. Cobb in Smyrna. Kim answered any question that I had and she was very pleasant. Chuck was very attentive. He asked what type music I liked and turned it on, then he showed me how to work the massage chair. A massage chair in the dentist office!!! SO VIP! He was also very gentle when completing my x-rays. The dentist was very thorough, explained his findings to me, and answered all of my questions. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Only rating I would give a star for would be the front desk and young man who did my X-rays! They were completely caring and understanding of my dental anxiety. The dentist on the other hand was not!! He was arrogant and didn’t care about my past experiences and is just another reason I HATE GOING!! They refused a regular cleaning and will only do a deep cleaning which cost under my plan!

Negative experience: The is for SMYRNA practice Customer Service or lack thereof. I started my relationship with MINT Dentistry in Terrell TX ( Dallas Area). Received exceptional service and interaction with Receptionist the first point of contact. I walked in asked questions, learned of the corporate practices throughout the USA and I was sold due to me being a full time RVer my records could follow me. I had a deep scale cleaning and a root canal done. Relocated to Alabama (Atlanta/Smyrna) was the closest practice. First issue and most annoying was the lack of contact with Smyrna office. They have their phones on roll over to corporate for scheduling. Received a callback from an Office Mgr after 3 attempts and quite possibly 5 phone conversations thru corporate and the Terrell office. Witnessed with my own eyes after visit that the receptionist never answered a phone because it never rang, but she was however doing busy work with a smile. The Dental Assistant AARON was exceptional Thank You AARON.

Negative experience: Subject: Disappointing Experience at Mint Dentistry - Proceed with Caution As a new client I strongly advise exercising caution when considering Mint Dentistry for any dental care needs. My recent experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I had a 1:30 PM appointment, but the doctor did not arrive until after 3:15 PM, leaving me waiting for an extended period without any communication or explanation. During my wait, I underwent several x-rays and was left in the dental chair for over an hour. When the doctor finally arrived, he briefly explained the procedures I would need, only to inform me that, due to their full schedule, none of the work could be completed that day. This was despite my appointment being for a “problem visit” and cleaning, neither of which I received. I left the office with an unresolved issue and an aching tooth. To make matters worse, after the doctor left, I was directed to meet with the finance department. A full 20 minutes later, a finance representative informed me that the cost for a root canal and crown would amount to $1,799 (with insurance coverage). The doctor had also mentioned that to perform the root canal, they would need to remove my wisdom tooth, adding to the complexity and cost of the procedure. The most alarming part of this experience is the pricing. I had a similar treatment plan for a different tooth in 2023, and Mint Dentistry quoted me a price that was triple the cost for essentially the same procedure. This dramatic price hike feels unreasonable and unfair. In conclusion, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for dental care. Mint Dentistry’s lack of professionalism, unreasonably high prices, and poor communication make it a risk not worth taking.

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness, this place is a breath of fresh air. They don't hide any details from you, explain everything as many times as you need (I was not feeling well the day I came in and the team was extremely patient with explaining everything before I left.) The pricing is reasonable for thr quality of treatment you get. Well informed staff and beautiful bedside manners. What you should expect from medical professionals. Non-judgmental, patient, and skilled. Will be coming here for my dental needs!
