Fantastic experience: Dr Kratz was amazing with handling my root canal and crown. It took longer than expected but he made sure I was doing ok and that I was still comfortable and the pain medication still worked. He gave me plenty of breaks and did not rush to finish the procedure. I highly recommend going to see him for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency over a holiday weekend and didn't have a dentist i saw regularly. All other places where booked for week out. I called and got an appointment the same morning. They made the experience so easy and I did feel like I was in a doctor's office no stress. They also to out my bad tooth in the same visit. It was painless and quick. 10 out of 10 would and am going back.

Fantastic experience: I feel so cared for and comfortable. I know I am getting the best care. I'm seem promptly for my appointments, and they listen to my concerns. Procedures are explained to me so I understand them. I could not have a better team taking care of all my dental needs .

Negative experience: During my cleaning, the hygienist kept abruptly pulling the mirror utensil out of my mouth and smacking the back of my two front teeth. It didn’t “hurt” but it was very uncomfortable, I was worried she might chip a tooth! The first time I just let it go, second time I told her “ow, that didn’t feel good,” and third time I just make an irritated “agh.” I told myself if she did it a fourth time, I would demand a new hygienist. Luckily she “only” did it three times... She also kept rubbing her boobs on my head which was super awkward. The dentist was great.

Fantastic experience: Great front desk staff who are knowledgeable in dentistry as well as helpful to make scheduling and paperwork easy. They are flexible on rescheduling or if need be, squeezing you in for an emergency. The dental assistants, hygienists and doctors are kind, patient, empathetic and gentle. Overall fantastic experience at Central Avenue Dental Care. I highly recommend for those reasons. With that being said, it seems the word “crown” comes up frequently and I’m looking at 4 of them they recommended in just a matter of months. I do plan on getting a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: Experience was professional, and all of my questions were answered. It didn't take long and I was on my way.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this office. I have been with them since before they moved locations and the quality of care has decreased significantly. I feel I was taken advantage of, I have not had a cavity before so when I was told I had 3 pre-cavity spots, I proceeded with a $360 same day remineralizing treatment. I was told about these spots before the dentist had examined my teeth and my X-Rays were from a previous appointment. It confused me as to why the spots wouldn’t have been brought up when the X-Rays were taken originally. Shortly after, I got a second opinion from another practice, based on the same X-Rays, and they stated they could appreciate only one spot to watch but that they would not recommend treatment. I should also mention I have the receipt of a family member, under the same insurance, who received the same remineralizing treatment at a Metro Dental Care, which I understand they are not longer a part of, for $39/spot, mine was $120/spot. I called them to discuss the situation as I felt something was off but did not find them to be helpful. The staff have been overall kind to me but I do not feel I can trust them, because of this, I am not comfortable continuing care here.

Fantastic experience: The dentist asked me when the last time I had been to a dentist . I asked him how old he was he said 28. I said well you weren’t even born yet . Going to the dentist for me is very stressful, but they were amazing and did not make me feel awkward at all . They even pulled three of my teeth that were causing me excruciating pain on the first visit They are absolutely amazing . I’m definitely going back there and I would recommend the same to anyone else

Five stars for all; & my bill exceeded what I planned for to do only one tooth & thankful enough for th procedure s on th other three. Negative experience: I do not recommend this dental office. Please read reviews and find somewhere else. I initially went in for a routine cleaning, which was changed to a deep cleaning split into two appointments which was normal due to not having a cleaning in a few years. After the first visit, once the local anesthesia wore off, I experienced significant pain at the injection site that lasted for approximately a week. At my second appointment, I informed the dental hygienist that I was still experiencing pain from the previous injection. I was told this was normal and advised to take ibuprofen. About two weeks later, the lower right side of my jaw. Where the injection had been administered became severely swollen, reaching the size of a golf ball, and the pain worsened significantly. As a result, I had to visit the emergency room three times, miss work, and undergo an MRI. I was instructed to return to the dental office where the cleaning was performed. During that visit, the staff took no accountability and stated they were unsure of the cause. Additional X-rays were taken and reported as normal; however, I was then told I needed a root canal that had supposedly been missed during my initial appointment. I spent additional money to see an endodontist, who confirmed that I did not need a root canal and determined that the facial swelling was due to an infection originating from where I got my cleaning. I was prescribed two weeks of penicillin and 800 mg ibuprofen for pain management. Given this experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this dental office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have had the best dental experience at Central Avenue Dental. Beyond amazing customer service, friendly staff members, a beautiful welcoming office and doctors and hygenists that actually care about your experience. I will not go anywhere else for my dental care. The practice manager, Bailey, is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Positive experience: My first appointment here and everything went well except that the waterpik type cleaning tool (like power washing lol) that they use was a little uncomfortable. The dentist that I saw was very through in his examination and mentioned a potential problem with a tooth. I will definitely be going back.

First time I had seen him, he found an issue with a tooth that needed attention that had been missed at a previous office. I also had an issue with my insurance company that had not paid on a claim and the office receptionist was extremely helpful in helping me navigate what I needed to do. I really appreciated her taking the time to assist me with this.
