Negative experience: I’ve been going to this dental clinic for years and I really love it, but the problem is they are understaffed and even when you make all of your appointments in advance (6months) they still call same day and say a hygienist called out sick and have to re schedule your visit. I would understand if this happened once or twice but it’s literally every single time l have an appointment scheduled. Then they ask you to reschedule they are at least a month out if not more. Super frustrating !!!

Fantastic experience: Angie is an excellent hygienist, who looks beyond the obvious to deeper possible issues. Dr. Milos Tomaides D.D.S. also considered possible concerns for the future. This office has great special plans for affordable dentistry. I will certainly return for more dental maintenance! Two handicap parking spots are directly in front of the building, which speaks to their ethic of meeting the special needs of all people. Update 06/2026: Closed now on Fridays, as well as Saturdays and Sundays. Changes made special dental cleaning plans, which are less expensive than the blanket VIP plan. (VIP plans still exists for major dental work.) I switched hygienists to Emma, who does a gentle yet thorough dental cleaning. I’m not sure Dr. Tomaides is still on board. Regardless, all the dentists in this office are great at not upselling unnecessary procedures or products.

Negative experience: I typically do not leave reviews but feel I must. I go to the dentist religiously every six months. I have never had a cavity in my life and take good care of my teeth. (Brush 2x a day, floss 1x day, cleanings 2x year) I've gone to the same dentist for years but had to switch due to me moving. The first appointment I had with this group caused alarm. Although they were very nice, they were basically telling me I had gum disease and that I need to make sure I get a dental plan with "perio" coverage. According to my other dental office this so common when someone sees tartar, they automatically assume patient has gum disease and they need deep root cleaning. (Deep root cleaning is very expensive as they need to numb entire mouth and it takes two appointments to do it. My insurance didn't cover it so they were going to charge around $1000!!) They also recommended 3 cleanings per year. (e.g. more cleanings= more $$$) I was in shock. I got a second option from another provider and they raised their eyebrows and said did not see a need for the deep root cleaning. Moral of the story, get a second opinion!!

Positive experience: My family has been going to Twin Cities Dental for a few years now. They have always been so kind, happy, and professional. My kids have all started going as soon as they turn 3 and they love seeing the nurses and dentist. Never any fear about going. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they don’t have later daytime hours or weekend hours so it can be hard to get an appointment that works with my work schedule.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a great experience at Twin Cities Dental in Andover. They quoted me a price for an implant to replace a broken bridge, that was half the price quoted by my regular dentist. As it turned out, I had them replace with a new bridge, as, due to a change in circumstances, my insurance was running out, and I didn't have time for the implant. They completed the new bridge very quickly, at a very reasonable price. The service was friendly, efficient and professional. I've never had a better customer experience!

Yes, they still are professional and kind. ……….. Yes, this year of 2025, in the month of July, my dental cleaning appointment & exam, with Emma & Dr. Milos, was professional, quick, & kind, as usual.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth capped. The experience was professional and I was pleasantly surprised that I would leave with my permanent cap, not a temporary one! They kept me informed of the process expected wait times between each step.

Negative experience: My daughter is in college and we book her appointments well in advance. She was scheduled for a crown over Christmas break.The dentist canceled on the day of her appointment because he didn’t have any other appointments and did not want to go in. Her other appointment was canceled because he “didn’t feel well”. This was on Good Friday. Not reliable. Will not go back. Maybe the dentist should retire, obviously he does not care.

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable experience — avoid this office at all costs. I have taken three of my children to this dental office for Invisalign over the years, but after what happened today, I’m fearful to return. During a routine visit, etching solution was spilled on my daughter’s face, and it literally burned her skin — taking off a layer and leaving her in visible pain. This was clearly a chemical burn caused by a dental etch — something any trained dental professional knows is highly acidic and dangerous to soft tissue and skin. I immediately took my daughter out of school and returned to the office to have this addressed. Shockingly, none of the staff — including Dr. Milos — took responsibility or even acknowledged what had happened. Instead, they acted as if they had no idea what could have caused it. When we asked to speak directly with the assistant who worked on my daughter, Michelle denied everything, even though she admitted to seeing the blue paste (etch) and wiping it off with her finger. And yet she still tried to claim she didn’t know what happened? This level of gaslighting and unprofessionalism is appalling. It is your job to protect your patients, especially minors. You know the risks of these materials. Instead of taking accountability for what was clearly an error on your part, you attempted to dismiss, deflect, and blame the patient. That is unacceptable. We are deeply disappointed and disturbed by this lack of responsibility and care. If you value your child’s safety and well-being, do not bring them here. The negligence and denial we experienced are inexcusable. Nothing against Ashley at the front desk; she’s the best they have going for them.

The hygienists here are top-notch. Every cleaning I’ve had has been thorough, gentle, and never rushed. You can tell the team truly cares about the quality of their work and your comfort throughout the entire process. My teeth have never felt cleaner or healthier! Dr. Milos Tomaides is an excellent dentist with a great sense of humor, which makes appointments that much more enjoyable. His professionalism and attention to detail are unmatched, and I always feel confident I'm getting the best care possible. I've recommended Twin Cities Dental to several friends and family members because of the consistently high level of care, professionalism, and the genuinely kind team. It’s a place where you know your smile is in good hands.

Positive experience: We had to change dentists when our last place dropped our insurance. We have gone here for almost 2 years now because no one else takes our insurance anymore (Tricare dental) We make the matching appointments for the kids at their cleanings. HOWEVER, one of them always gets bumped by 30-60 minutes, which defeats the entire purpose of making them together 6 months prior! So I just had to bump their appointments from end of April to the end of June to get the same appointment times for them. This is at least the 3rd time it has happened. Do they overbook mornings? I don’t know, but it’s annoying and a pain to get 2 simultaneous appointments. It only worked the initial appointment when 3 of us all went at the same time. The next time I got bumped an hour later, so I do mine separately now.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly , caring and comfortable!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars to this dentist, I would. The dentist who performed work on my daughter's teeth was so rude he made her cry. Then, he did not properly sand down the tooth he worked on which was rubbing and causing pain such that she had to pay another dentist to fix it. No accountability! To top it off, they sent my daughter's account to collections. She is in college but uses our address as her permanent address. Not one bill was received here. When she got a text from a collection agency we thought it was a scam due to not receiving any bill. STAY AWAY!!

If wait times are issues for you, no worries with Twin City Dental, never waited more than a few minutes after appt. time to been seen. A shout out to Angie, my hygienist, she was, hands down the best and most knowledgeable hygienist I've had in a very long time. She shared some information with me that I never knew and wished I had. Fantastic experience: I went in for an unusual issue. Dr. F genuinely cared and took every measure to find me relief. After weeks of constant pain, Dr. F provided me with education and relief on my situation. Can’t thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: I had the first of multiple appointments today. Angie was wonderful as always and did a fantastic job with the novocaine, which usually causes great anxiety for me. I don’t feel nervous going because I know everyone there will take good care of me. It can be easy to put off self care when it comes to dentist appointments, which admittedly I have done, but happily no longer need to. Don’t hesitate to make your appointment here!!

The Dentist has me laughing, which is much appreciated given how stressful being at the dentist can be. They gave me such great information. Fantastic experience: I had to wait almost 20 minutes past my appointment time but once I was called back Angie was very professional and did a great job cleaning my teeth and educating me. Her bedside manner is kind and companionate. I am very happy with the care Angie provided.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist has always caused anxiety for me. No matter how many times I’ve done this, each time is like the first. But the staff here ALWAYS makes me feel so comfortable. They accept my fear and help me through it, they are so welcoming, caring, understanding and NEVER judgmental. Never make me feel as if I’m beneath them, or insane for having these fears (even though I tell myself that). I appreciate them SO much more, considering the experience I have had with my kids dentist office. I know and appreciate the job every single person in this office does. Whether it’s the ladies at the front who welcome me in with a smile and wave at me when I’m leaving with a smile. Whether it’s the hygienist (I’ve seen several) who talk with me, maybe not fully understand my fear but at no point do they show it or make me feel wrong. They check on me continuously throughout my cleaning/procedures, just to make sure I’m ok. Or if it’s Dr Milos making me laugh even in the most uncomfortable situations, also SO very kind with his words and puts a lot of care into his patients. I know every one has a certain job description that they are to carry out there, but they go beyond that. They care, they understand, they make you feel heard and important to them. I can’t thank Everyone here enough for doing more than you “have” to, and being a very SAFE place for someone like me. Y’all have made a difference in my life and I always leave feeling so much better, not just my mouth, but just in general. A smile, a caring heart, comforting words, those go such a long way. Thank y’all for being just that!

Negative experience: I went to TC Dental for a cleaning because my current dentist is out of network on my new Medicare policy. My last checkup everything was fine, but the folks at TC Dental determined I needed a deep cleaning and scaling. Multiple appointments and hundreds of dollars out of pocket. An hour and half at the office, seemed more like a timeshare presentation than a dental appointment. Never cleaned my teeth. I got a second opinion. I won’t be going back.

Fantastic experience: Twin Cities Dental - Andover, is an amazing clinic. The staff is very caring and personable. As I was getting my teeth worked on the hygienist and the dentist where joking around. Seemed to be a very friendly and well intergrated team.

Fantastic experience: I was in and out of the dentist office in less than one-and-one-half hours. "1 1/2 hours?!", you understandably question with bewilderment. "What's impressive about that!?" During this visit Dr. Tomaides prepared one tooth for a crown, programmed a machine, made the crown with his in-house milling machine, and secured the crown into place. While the crown was being machined, this same dentist successfully fixed a years-long ongoing problem I was having with food getting stuck between two of my back teeth. It also helps that Dr. Tomaides is by nature a funny guy.

Fantastic experience: Twin Cities dental is the best place to get your teeth taken care of. I've been all over the world and this place is top 3 in customer service and staff communication. They are a family over there. I've been going there since 2019 for invisalign and typical dental care, and I've seen the same faces and anyone who is new just becomes part of the family seamlessly. I look forward to going to my hygienist as well. You can believe their enthusiasm and care is genuine.

Fantastic experience: We moved to the area and had to find a new dentist after seeing the same dentist for 33+ years. I looked hard to find a dental practice that offered the latest technology in terms of digital xrays, and same day, in-house crown fabrication and replacements. I also wanted a practice that garnered high reviews from others. My search led me to Twin Cities Dental in Andover. I was greeted warmly from my first call to check on their practice capabilities, to walking in for my appointment, to meeting the hygienist (Jill, she is great!), and my dentist for the day. My appointment was necessitated because a previous crown had come off. I was also due for a cleaning and new xrays, and they were able to get me in within one day to take care of everything. I was very pleased that the dentist was willing to try and reattach the previous crown and not push me toward different, more expensive options. This says a lot to me about the credibility of their practice, and is the first step toward building a trusting relationship with a new doctor/dentist. In summary, my appointment could not have gone better, and I will be back (in 6 months ;) ).
