Fantastic experience: Pediatric Dr Cook is our child’s dentist for so many reasons. He is patient and caring. My child loves to see Dr Cook and his top-notch staff. We see him and the Apple Tree Dental team every 6 months. But when our child had a tooth injury, he got us in right away. We were reassured it wasn’t as bad as we thought it was, and our child is feeling better already. This clinic is state of the art. We feel at home when we check in to the check-out. These folks really care about us. Clean, kind, and thorough are 3 words that come to mind describing this experience.

Fantastic experience: I always see Erin for my hygienist. She’s so kind, calming and friendly. All the dentist are detail oriented and everyone on the team goes above and beyond to deliver thorough and comprehensive care. Very happy with my dental care at Apple Tree dental.

Fantastic experience: Apple tree in mounds view is really great. It's still a newish building so everything is great aesthetically, and the staff is always super nice and helpful. My son is autistic with some delays and the hygienist are always so nice and sweet with him. They explain everything they're going to do, and what each instrument does. They have tools to help children feel more comfortable. His dentist is a highly skilled dental professional. Super nice, and warm with him and extremely gentle. Recommend this place any day to anyone with small children

Fantastic experience: First and foremost, Dr. Megan Weber is a top tier dentist. Second, you won't find another dental organization as superb as this one; trust me, you won't. Note that I'm a patient, not an employee of Apple Tree, so trust this review. I'm writing it because I want you, the reader, to see the dentist every 6 months - without hesitation. Apple Tree Dental has a waiting list, so get on that list. Don't skip going to see a dentist!

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased to be able to get dental care for my person who is in a wheelchair with medical fragility. It was not easy to find a provider who could take her insurance.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been anywhere for dental work besides Apple Tree! They always have explained everything that’s happened during my exams. And made sure I was getting the best care. I found out today I’m going to be getting a decent amount of dental work done and they have gotten me scheduled as timely as possible and made sure I got the proper referrals. My son has also only ever been to apple tree and they are very gentle and made sure he was always comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I got my teeth fixed and when I tried to call for my return ride home, I didn't have my phone with me. The receptionist helped me call the Uber company to get my phone and return ride home. I was upset about not having my phone, and relieved when I knew I would get it back. Fantastic experience: Best Dental Experience ever!!!!! I had two teeth removed so quickly- before I could blink. Merrick is soon to be an oral surgeon and I’m so glad I was under his care. Definitely will continue to go to this clinic. So grateful for Appletree! The receptionist was also volunteering to do some overtime for the evening clinic - she was super kind and friendly. Positive experience: I am amazed on how easy it was to get in and get my tooth extracted I have no insurance and everywhere else I could not afford to get an extraction done , I have told people about this place and will be going back to get a cleaning and more , the two students who helped me were great I do feel like one of them could use more training but over all great experience.

Positive experience: I have been going to Apple Tree Dental in Mounds View about 10 years. I really feel their facility and equipment are very current technology and the Hygienists and Dentists are careful and kind. Their pricing is competitive. I also like that they specialize in dental care for disabled people and I see many kids there too. It makes me confident the compassion they offer these challenging patients will be conferred upon me as I am a senior and my dental challenges continue to escalate. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they are so booked out it is hard to keep on a 2 times per year schedule as it usually is about 8 months out. (But of course emergencies get in quickly!)

Fantastic experience: Our experience at Apple Tree Dental was a 11 out of 10! My son has Special Needs and was nervous for his appointment. The care, patience and kindness they showed him and me was outstanding. He was sedated for his appointment and when it took him a little longer to fully wake up, one of them sat with me in my car until we were comfortable to leave. Fantastic experience: My son had multiple extractions done. The dentist "George" was excellent - very gentle and professional. His assistant was also very professional and gave thorough instructions on his treatment plan and after care. We were very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: The staff are truly gifted at providing care that makes you comfortable and will give you a blanket, along with sunglasses to get comfy with. They do whatever is necessary to make it easy for you to get through your exams.

Fantastic experience: I just took my daughter here for the first time and had a great experience. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The dentist (oral surgeon) was super helpful and took the time to explain everything. I feel like I learned a lot in the short visit! We’ve been to several dental visits at another dental office (this was our 5-6th appointment in the past month due to her need for treatments) and no other dentist had taken the time to explain things in such detail. I’m super happy with the level of service we’ve received so far.

We’ve been through a lot dentally speaking and I’m so glad we found people who were accommodating to her disabilities and have also made her smile with straight, bright teeth.

Negative experience: I wasn't going to leave a review, but Appletree requested that I do. My experience: I had two separate root canals. Each took approximately 2 MONTHS from start to finish. Ignored repeatedly by the dentist when attempting to schedule a follow up appointment. I made it clear that I did not consent to anything fluoridated. That was NOT respected. I recommend checking out other dental establishments before choosing this one. Let me tell you something positive: The hygienists are amazing. Very attentive, and caring. It shows. Good jobs guys. Fantastic experience: They were AWESOME. My 31 yr old son is nonverbal and has Down syndrome. He needs a dentist who is kind and patient and they were very much kind and patient!! He was given a cleaning, polish, fluoride treatment and flossing as well. All while comfortably watching children's songs on an iPad hanging over him. I am very happy with their plan for his dental care going forward.

Negative experience: I was just told that I am no longer a patient and that they are not accepting new patients. Apple Tree was my dentist for over 10 years. Then COVID happened and everything shut down. Apple Tree never communicated anything during this time. Were they closed? News told me all dentists were. Whenever did they reopen? I have no idea, they never communicated that. Since then, I tried to schedule, but gave up after a long hold. So now, as I think about it again, I call to schedule and after a long wait on hold, I am told I'm no longer a patient. This is crap treatment after I was Patient for over a decade. Total garbage. On top of all of this, I don't know that I saw the same dentist twice as they changed constantly, and even the hygienists changed regularly or were hard to schedule around. I know Apple Tree does a lot of community support dentistry, which is great, but if you treat paying patients like crap, you are a crappy organization. Do not recommend.

Positive experience: My son king loves his dentist very caring and professional BUT trying to call in TO MAKE A APPOINTMENT I just got off the phone after calling since 12pm and at 3.42 pm someone answered didn’t say apple tree Dental she picked up mid convo giggling did say hello or hi and when said hello she said hello lol I asked was this apple tree dental ? she said ummmm ya ? I was like in my mind very unprofessional. I then asked if I can make an appointment for my son she said yes then said I have to transfer you to the correct dept I then asked was this a wrong number since I’m being transferred (because a few times I’ve called in it’s the wrong location ) and given a different number she said um no why would you think that ? I was like because you said the right dept but never mind she didn’t say nothing no have a good day just ….. click Who ever is working on the phones needs some retraining. In person staff and doctors again are Amazing

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Apple Tree, to Dr. Zainab, and to Alesha. My son is nonverbal and autistic. He is very resistant to dental care. Both the dr and assistant were amazing, patient, understanding, and allowed our input with his health plan. We left the clinic feeling so grateful that our son had his tooth fixed without compromise. Fantastic experience: I’m submitting this review for Roberta Tuey. It wasn’t our first visit to Appletree It was on time, clean and efficient. Both the hygenist Connie and her assistant Destiny were friendly and attentive. They both are very positive and really care about Roberta teeth!

Fantastic experience: For the appt today, it deserved a 2 Star!! I had an appt with an intern today to have my filling done--big mistake--for the 10+yrs years I've had my dental work done at ATD, never had i had this much discomfort and pain. The jab was the worst--as the numbness wears off, I can feel the ache of the jab. Throughout the appt, intern did not sound confident at all...a lot of, "i think, should be, i hope, it's possible, idk, etc" Lesson learn, stick with the professional! Now, feeling my jaw where it hurts-- seems to be a lump. If it still hurts by tmr, Im calling ATD. Although, I do give beyond 5 stars for my doctor, Dr Johnson, she's got the most gentle hands and she has a lot of compassion and knowledge in her line of work. My family and I will def stick to her ONLY!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, blessed to have found it. My brother has Down syndrome and needed dentures. Dr Kathryn Anderson was so great and really had the expertise needed to get my brother fitted right for his dentures and the dental assistance there were fantastic! All around we have had the best experience here.

Negative experience: This is the worst place when It comes to their patients. I missed 1 appointment and without telling me they cancelled all my appointments I even called and told them I couldn't make it and on my way there in a med ride I called them to verify the appointment and then I found out it was cancelled. This place is not worth going to I recommend everyone find a different dental establishment for their needs.

Fantastic experience: Apple Tree Dental has met all of my dental needs and more. They go above and beyond trying to help you in an emergency and their staff is amazing, from the front desk person all the way down the line. I have never felt dismissed or not listen to by anyone there. The pediatric dentist is phenomenal as well, and I won't bring my child anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: AppleTree is a Godsend for our 29 year old son with special needs. Until this month, we had taken him to the UofM dental clinic for dental care, as they were the only facility that we knew of that would use general anesthesia. They did a great job, but the anxiety and tension of waiting at least a couple hours for the procedure was tough on our son and us. We were referred to Dr. Anderson at AppleTree by our family dentist. She was terrific with our son during the initial consultation. It's obvious she has plenty of experience with special needs, along with the empathy that put our son and us at ease. At the actual procedure, Dr. Anderson, the anesthesiologist and the rest of the team did a great job. The plan was to use Nitrous Oxide before inserting the IV sedation. The NO was not as effective as we'd all hoped, so the anesthesiologist administered an injection in our son's arm with a stronger sedative. He was fast and discreet, and the rest of the team helped me keep our son as distracted as possible. It went very smooth. This was the first time AppleTree had treated our son, so it was a learning experience for everyone. The team told us now that they know our son and how he responds to the various sedatives, they'll know what to expect at future appointments. We love IV sedatives compared to general anesthesia. Our son was awake, although pretty groggy, and on his way home within 15 minutes after the procedure. Much, much better than recovering from full general anesthesia!!! During the procedure I was kept up to date on their progress. The AppleTree office is clean and well managed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Anderson is awesome. And now our son "has a dentist"..someone who knows his past. That was not the case at the UofM specialty clinic, which is a training clinic with a constantly changing staff of dentists. We can't recommend AppleTree highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Loved this place! Everyone was so nice and explained everything perfectly! Dr Mohebbi was great he made me feel comfortable which is not easy for me with anxiety. He told me what my issues were and how they were gonna fix it and answered all my questions! Everyone seems to enjoy their jobs which always makes things 100% better! The facility in moundsview was nice and very clean an all around good environment. I would recommend apple tree dental to all friends and family!!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience today with our daughter with autism. She had a sedation dental appointment. Everyone was caring and efficient and she is home now doing well.

Negative experience: Apple tree dental is cooked! Horrible Interaction with schedulers almost everytime I call in. They never have it together, I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to schedule/change an upcoming appointment. If I call before the appointment to check if they have another one available they (Stacy)will cancel my appointment first, then offer me an appointment 9-12 months out. So I cannot say well I guess I will keep my appointment because it’s already been canceled & they are quite happy to do so.This doesn’t serve the need of the patient. It’s make zero sense, I always have to ask to speak to a manager in order to get things right.That is un necessary, the schedulers are very rude & seem like they don’t have a clue about what’s going on. Once they cancel your appointment you’re just out of luck. They have a scheduler by the name of S.T.A.C.Y she is rude & has an antagonistic approach toward me & my children, I have been coming to this location far longer than she has worked there.My initial interaction with her was almost two years ago,my son was picked up from school, we drove out of our way to get him to his appointment.Once we got to the dentist I had my son check in while I parked the car, once parked I went inside & my son was sitting in the waiting room crying. He said that they wouldn’t let him check in for his appointment. So I walked up to the scheduler that deemed it necessary to be so mean and make my child cry & asked what the issue was, she was short & snippy & refused to give me her name.I actually had to call corporate while standing there to get someone on the line (which was hell) because she refused to give me her name or get a supervisor. Once she saw I was calling the corporate office in front of her, she decide NOT to calm her attitude down instead it got worse & she decided she would spell her common name to me which was STACY. I sat & waited & waited for a supervisor & eventually my son was seen. Can you believe anyone would have to go through that? That’s not service it’s an injustice to the patient. She isn’t there to fight with patients, she is there to be helpful. Now since that happened she is focused on me, everytime I call or interact w/her she is disrespectful & difficult. Clearly, she was NOT reprimanded for her action & is an obstructionist. STACY Is still up to her same shenanigans, she is contentious & obfuscatory. She has something personal against me & is a Nuisance. The lady hangs up on me every chance she gets, she refuses to get a supervisor on the line for me, she is argumentative, disruptive & did I mention she hangs up on me? Today she basically told me to take my children some place else so she doesn’t have to deal with me & even after complaining numerous times about this women she is still there to make the patients lives complicated. Being that I have been in healthcare 28 years & have never been treated this way, I also do not treat patients like that; if I did treat patients that way I would not have a job. Once you complain they tend to speak to you like you are the issue, they make it seem like it’s an isolated situation; its not, I know what aggression looks like & this particular person has aggression issues, enjoys escalation & makes issues where there otherwise wouldn’t be. After being hung up on by Stacy today & calling back I have to re explain my issue over & over again. When they find another appointment for my children, they will literally say; I hope you have a better day! It’s insulting, manipulative.Quick background about my day today; i was having a great day until I called them.If you like passive aggressive interactions this is the dentistry for you. However, I will be filing a complaint with the MN Board of Dentistry today since my complaints aren’t being treated with seriousness & this individual continues to be antagonistic, she is prohibiting my children from being seen in a timely manner by pushing out our appointments or refusing to reschedule them and causing a hostile environment and interfering with patient care. It’s not ok and it will stop!

I sat & waited & waited for a supervisor & eventually my son was seen. Can you believe anyone would have to go through that? That’s not service it’s an injustice to the patient. She isn’t there to fight with patients, she is there to be helpful. Now since that happened she is focused on me, everytime I call or interact w/her she is disrespectful & difficult. Clearly, she was NOT reprimanded for her action & is an obstructionist. STACY Is still up to her same shenanigans, she is contentious & obfuscatory. She has something personal against me & is a Nuisance. The lady hangs up on me every chance she gets, she refuses to get a supervisor on the line for me, she is argumentative, disruptive & did I mention she hangs up on me? Today she basically told me to take my children some place else so she doesn’t have to deal with me & even after complaining numerous times about this women she is still there to make the patients lives complicated. Being that I have been in healthcare 28 years & have never been treated this way, I also do not treat patients like that; if I did treat patients that way I would not have a job. Once you complain they tend to speak to you like you are the issue, they make it seem like it’s an isolated situation; its not, I know what aggression looks like & this particular person has aggression issues, enjoys escalation & makes issues where there otherwise wouldn’t be. After being hung up on by Stacy today & calling back I have to re explain my issue over & over again. When they find another appointment for my children, they will literally say; I hope you have a better day! It’s insulting, manipulative.Quick background about my day today; i was having a great day until I called them.If you like passive aggressive interactions this is the dentistry for you. However, I will be filing a complaint with the MN Board of Dentistry today since my complaints aren’t being treated with seriousness & this individual continues to be antagonistic, she is prohibiting my children from being seen in a timely manner by pushing out our appointments or refusing to reschedule them and causing a hostile environment and interfering with patient care. It’s not ok and it will stop!

Fantastic experience: My nurse and my dentist were magical. I had three teeth extracted and felt absolutely no pain at all. I will definitely refer this Clinic all my friends.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled to find a dentist for my daughter with special needs. Dr. Knutson at Apple Tree Dental and the team of hygienists and assistants have been welcoming, accommodating and patient as my daughter builds trust to allow them to provide treatment. We are so grateful for the Apple Tree team! My daughter has grown so much in just a few visits here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cook is amazing and his team of nurses are absolutely wonderful! Dr. Cook is so patient and calm and understanding and took his time with my profoundly autistic child. There is no one I trust more than him with my son’s dental care!

Fantastic experience: Our son has started receiving dental care at Apple Tree after several years searching for a provider to take his Medical Assistance benefits. He is very happy with the service here, and as his parents we are too. Friendly clinicians and staff. Service has been on time. The facility is clean and attractive.

Fantastic experience: wonderful caring staff and finished before i had time to freak out, place to go if you are uneasy abt dental work, Adriana from Kenya was so compassionate as she offered to hold my hand during extraction of wisdom tooth and the surgeon and her both were singing to me so, i wouldn’t go anywhere else, thank you

Negative experience: Feels like apple Dental is depriving in their work ethics. Came for regular clean up..but didn't do it..wasted all of appointment time in talking n explaining of doing deep cleaning next time which will take almost a year to get appointment . What happened to apple Dental? I couldn't tell anything this time. We are not happy with today appointment!! It take almost a year to get appointment!! Sooo weird!!!

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old daughter got a referral to Apple Tree Dental to have 4 teeth pulled. She was nervous but the entire staff was so kind, patient and gentle with her. They explained everything they were doing and made sure she was comfortable throughout the entire process. I was so impressed! Highly recommend!!!

Modernized technology and meticulous attention to all the details of providing a service. This organization has earned Rockstar status.
