I am very pleased with Dr Stentz and Dr DeWolf, the office staff, and and dental hygienist staff. Everyone is super courteous, and very competent. Won't go any where else for dental care.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience! The dental hygienist was very friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the cleaning. The doctor was also kind, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly.

Negative experience: They use old dentistry practices with chemicals, flouride and other toxic things for our bodies. Also, they will charge you a late fee for rescheduling within 24 hours, then they rescheduled on me 2 hours before my appointment and wouldnt wave the reschedule fee. I decided to just not go back, and now they wont let go of a reschedule fee and sent a debt collector after me. Bad customer service and a headache company. Try a different dentist that has healthier options

Positive experience: I like the staff, the dental hygienist, and the doctor. But sometimes it’s difficult to schedule an appointment when both my dental hygienist and the doctor are available. With the team of doctors shrinking from two to one, scheduling has been tricky, which affects the schedule for two teeth cleanings in a calendar year and a follow-up restoration. Although I was told that the doctor just needs to see the patient once a year following the teeth cleaning, it becomes a problem when patients need to be monitored after six months where both doctor and hygienist should be available. The staff shortage makes scheduling challenging and at times frustrating. Other than that, the team is great.

Fantastic experience: My experience with all the staff and Dr. Stentz since 2010 when I first was seen there has been wonderful. They make you feel very comfortable, they communicate with you in many ways to make sure you are aware/reminded of your upcoming appointment(s), upon your arrival you are greeted with a smile (what a huge welcome) and all my encounters with staff explain the process before starting and are fully aware of your comfort level during the process. Typically, no one likes to go to the dentist including myself, but 5 crowns later and many many appointments, I will continue to go back to them!!

Negative experience: I decided to give Circle Pines Dental a try due to moving. I did extensive research and they seemed to be a good fit. I wanted to purchase their cleaning plan and get a small chipped filling fixed. This was communicated over the phone and after my appointment was made they generated a total cost and texted it to me. I called to double confirm what the cost sent to me included. On the day of my appointment, I went back and they got started fixing my tooth. Before the doctor actually did work, she told me the price to confirm and it was double what they initially told me. I said I do not want it fixed today because that was not what I was told over the phone and in text. They continued to charge me for a x ray before I left and I was very upset with how they handled the situation. After the fact, they claimed the couldn’t generate a cost before looking at my tooth. If this was communicated to me when I called to confirm the price they specifically texted me, then this would not have been an issue. They scammed me into paying a $114 x-ray because they did this work before changing the total cost. There was clearly incorrect information relayed to me from one of the front desk reps. I will not be going back to this clinic ever again and hope no one else will have the same experience. Very unprofessionally handled by them.

Negative experience: Horrible. Older lady with short grayish white hair was rude to patients who had a hard time answering questionnaire on the tablet. Brunette lady went on break, came back and the gray hair lady gave a sigh and was like thank God you're back. It was just one patient after me with multiple questions. I don't get why they charge you $50 for canceling your appt. I asked the for the reason and they said that because it was our appt time, we had to keep it or get billed a certain amount for canceling only because they could've gotten another patient in at that time. That's an open slot where they could've had a patient come in. Me, thinking ok well I understand that if there's no one being seen at that time, they lose money, but they call a patient in front of me and told them they can come in for the time that I was in for. Patient agreed to come in but I got charged anyways. That's how they make their money. Oh and my daughter went in for a regular cleaning, never got her teeth brushed, only poked at her teeth and gums which irritated and hurt, but was given a quote of over $700 worth of procedures that needed to be done.

Well, the staff, hygienist, and my dentist are genuinely kind and seek to make me comfortable throughout my dental appointments and dental work. In fact, I had 4 dental implants (many appointments with this kind of dental work) accomplished within a few months in the latter part of 2022. I am highly recommending Circle Pines Dental because of the above paragraph and their insurance/billing person kept track of my insurance coverage in correlation with my financial obligation.

Fantastic experience: Nobody likes the word extraction but from setting the appointment to the procedure this was not unpleasant. Jean the receptionist got all my questions answered, Jolene the dental assistant (hope that is her title)even brought me a blanket because I was chilled. Dr Stentz was very patient answering ever question before proceeding. I didn’t even feel or hear the tooth come out and felt no pain. They were also very thorough in what I should expect post surgery. This went better than I could have imagined. Let’s hope I don’t have to do it again though.

Negative experience: Terrible place. My husband has been there for 3 years. Have asked for a treatment plan every time. And nothing. Abcese teeth times 3. Aspen dental all day long. Got in with in 2 day's unlike 3-4 weeks here. Got a treatment plan in 15 minutes. Cheaper, way more helpful, and knowledgeable. DO NOT GO HERE.

Fantastic experience: I’m always thankful that Circle Pines has such great dentists in town and that their office draws large enough crowds of people— from surrounding areas, to stay in business. They definitely respect care preferences; in my case I simply asked for basic dentistry, done well, and they’ve stuck to that plan; they’ve never tried to “teeth shame me” or take advantage of “vanity shame” like previous dentists did. That makes me happy since simple things done well— like getting my teeth cleaned, is accomplished without a lot of drama or over thinking. I give this place “5 teeth”:
