Negative experience: The website boasts of a clean, serene and loving environment. This Dental office is the worst. After being confirmed for an appointment, I was told upon my arrival that I did not have an appointment. The practice reeked of the smell of curry. Furthermore, they tried to get me to pay $190 out of pocket for x-rays despite them being in my insurance plan. I was informed that paying that cost was the only I would be seen that day. After sharing, how disappointed I was, and that I would never use their practice, I was told “I know you won’t.“ Two weeks later I received a phone call from the exact same person who provided this terrible service, trying to schedule an appointment. I had to remind her that she was the same person who had just denied me service two weeks prior. Stay away from this practice.

Negative experience: experience was not great because to day my wife had chemotherapy today and was sick I was taker care of before my appointments and forgot about it told them the reasons why I had rescheduled in my opinion they wasn’t very understanding about it

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for about 2+ years and I LOVE this practice. Crystal is a talented, kind and thoughtful dentist. When I met her, I just came from a prior dentist who told me I would need a tooth removed. She said we could save it and did. She’s always patient and informs of each step she’s doing during procedures. She’s the “star player” but she’s incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing supporting cast in Mrs Joanne. She’s so integral with scheduling and insurance information. Plus the sweetest. I’ve now started my Invisalign process and couldn’t be happier. Them being black women gives this practice the “cherry on top”.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Curtis is amazing! My entire family (including my now 7 year old) has seen her for the past 4 years and she's awesome. Kind, patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. I had a scaling and deep cleaning today, with absolutely no pain during the procedure nor pain afterwards. She allots her time well, with no overbooking and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. May I add that she no longer takes my new insurance but I opted to have her do my procedure and pay out of pocket rather than go with another dentist who I did not feel at complete ease with. She's a gem! And the staff is awesome too! Don't hesitate, if you're on the fence.

When I returned for my first treatment, I had a lot done and they made sure I knew what was happening and that I was as comfortable as I could be.

Today, I invested in “self” care and treated myself to a dentist that I could put my absolute confidence and trust in. Fantastic experience: My original dentist for 23 years did not want to attempt removing a rear top fractured tooth and leaving parts of it in my mouth. So I went to Dr. Brickhouse, a younger dentist, she is very skilled with her hands and can work with little assistance. (She is direct and to the point). She extracted the fractured tooth piece at a time, till it was all out. In the same appointment, she extracted a bottom left tooth on the other side because a large filling had fallen out. Around two month later I went back for the bridge and it fits perfect. Finally she removed a bottom right tooth last week that was to worn out to be refilled. Great job.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. Surprisingly, I’m giving 5 stars because my visit was more than I expected (I generally have no expectations). From the front desk to the chair, I was handled with care. LOL Instructions were given every step of the way even when discomfort was anticipated. Also, I would like to point out a pre-survey asking questions regarding the visit prior to me being seen. I thought it was interesting because of the type of questions asked but after the visit, I understood…thus, the 5 stars. If you’re curious about the questionnaire or experience, then make your appointment!

Fantastic experience: It was a lovely experience. The staff was professional and courteous. They showed respect and communicated effectively. I would continue here and refer friends and family. My only issue was that they used the personal wrist blood pressure monitor. I do not think that is an appropriate BP monitoring device for healthcare facilities, and I doubt the accuracy of those. My blood pressure was elevated on my visit, which was uncommon for me. I came home very anxious about it. I religiously monitored my BP for the next few days using my personal upper arm monitor; the pressure then was within the average level. What a relief. Otherwise, excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I have a fear of dental offices and also dentist because of things I’ve experienced as a child and a teen from a dentist. But Dr. Curtis always make me feel safe! She’s so sweet and patient. I literally cried today before my tooth extraction because I was so afraid! But Dr. Curtis was so patient and kind to me, She got me numbed up very well and I felt nothing! It’s hours later and the Anesthesia has wore off and the swelling is down. I don’t feel any pain I haven’t had to take any pain medication yet. Thank You Ms. Joann also who’s always making sure I get scheduled!

I guess you are saying it should have been due to the anesthesia…No, sometimes you are not provided the proper dosage. She has already been recommended to my family and my faithful friends.
