Fantastic experience: I saw Metro Dental on Social media. Dr. Williams was the content messenger and she is the Dentist that I saw on my initial consultation visit. It met my expections as advertised. The staff and dental assistant, Mario, the receptionist , Genius (of which I taught in 7th grade...a surprise, and Westly, the consultant manager (explained cost) were all knowledgeable and professional. The office is clean and immaculate and I had an amazing first visit, X-rays, scan). Although I did not have a procedure because it was just a consultation, I will come back with an update and give another review once my anxiety has subsided and the procedure is over. Fantastic experience: Metro Dental is the real deal! When I first walked in, I was greeted as a long time friend. Genesis and the front desk staff made me feel right at home. Then Tracey took me back to mi exam room and proceeded to explain to me what the process was and answered any questions I had. She took great care in how she performed her tasks. Before I even met Dr. Williams, I had a good education on my dental status. Then, Dr. Williams came in, took her time and explained what she saw in my dental health, in a way that was very down to earth and easy to digest. Ngo, (I hope I’m spelling your name correctly, sincerest apologies if I’m not) the Treatment Coordinator, provided a detailed rundown of future services to be performed and helped finalized my plan. I walked out feeling good that I have a new dental office home.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a consultation and was quite apprehensive but…I had lots of questions, concerns and more questions!! However, I was introduced to Wesley, Treatment extraordinaire who had lots of answers and scenarios for my many queries. So I eventually met with the dental tech who took limited X-ray and then Dr. Williams came in and I met her. The X-ray tech was gentle and pleasant! So was Dr. Williams who gave me much needed results. Bottom line…so far I’m impressed with visit #1!!

Fantastic experience: This place is so amazing. I had such a great experience. I had a tooth extraction and 3 fillings in one visit, and to say the least I was very nervous coming in for my appointment. When I arrived they took me back and just made me feel so comfortable. I was offered a blanket, ear plugs, sun glasses and a soothing movie that displayed whales and nature that played on the TV located on the ceiling above me as they lowered me in the chair to begin the procedure. Doctor Andoseh was so accommodating and reassured me that everything was going to be okay and she was right, I honestly didn’t even realize they were finished with the procedure because it went so smoothly. The dental assistant held my hand when she thought there was pressure applied to my mouth and that also made me feel very comfortable. I honestly didn’t feel any pain at all during the procedure. Doctor Andoseh even called me the day after my procedure to check in on me to see how everything was going. I had to take some pain meds that her office prescribed so I wouldn’t feel anything after the surgery and I still don’t feel anything. To sum it up this was such a great place and I love how modernized the office is coupled with the great customer service. I highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Metro dental is a great practice. They are very timely. Often times I've had no wait at all. The front staff is very nice. The dentist are calming and explain everything they are doing clearly. They also offer comfort items like blankets and a pillow. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Severe anxiety kept me away from the dentist until I absolutely had to seek care. My recent visit to Metro Dental for extraction of a cracked molar was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Previously I required anesthesia in order to have a tooth extracted but, not this time. The entire staff made this experience much better than I expected. I felt heard, I was not made to feel ridiculous because of my anxiety and did not feel rushed during my appointment. I have found my dental home at Metro Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have always been terrified of the dentist and had severe panic attacks prior to my appointments. This is by far THE BEST dentist I have ever been to. I didn't feel ANY pain at all throughout the entire procedure. I had 3 teeth removed and a deep cleaning in the same visit and when I say it was the best experience. They made me feel very comfortable my entire visit, and were very gentle with me freaking out. I highly recommend this dental office. They will definately take care of you. I will be returning for all other dental services. You will not regret it.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. They could never give me a cost for my services that made sense. Doesn’t except insurance even for a cleaning. Spent so much money and time with this office. Went to another office that accepts insurance and is patient first and am paying less than half what this place quoted. In addition to there being urgent work that needed to be done that this office didn’t even flag.

Fantastic experience: Within the last couple of months, I had a tooth extracted and a flipper installed. They failed to tell me that I couldn't eat with the flipper installed and that I needed to remove it. This in turn threw me into a complete meltdown when it broke while I was eating. Needless to say, Dr. Thakkar came to my rescue. She spoke to me in the most calm voice and reassured me that they would replace the flipper at no further cost. She was extremely compassionate and very understanding to my concern. Several dentist have attended to me. But none of them have made me feel that I was being heard like Dr. Thakkar. For that, I'm truly grateful to her.

Years ago, I went through a traumatic dental procedure that left me with severe dental anxiety and kept me from visiting the dentist for a long time. That changed when I met Sade and Yemi. They were incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. They walked me through every step of the procedure, made sure I was comfortable, and truly put me at ease. I had two extractions and didn’t feel any pain at all. If you struggle with dental anxiety, I highly recommend this office. Sade and Yemi are absolute angels—gifted at what they do and genuinely caring.

Negative experience: I came to the office today to discuss repairing my denture. As soon as I walked in the office the receptionist said I would have to pay $198.00 just for having an appointment. I asked her if I received service would I have to pay more? She said yes I would. I didn't receive any service because my denture needed to be sent to the lab and I couldn't risk not getting them back in time for an upcoming engagement. No service was provided just advice. I was hoping the denture could be repaired in the office but they couldn't do it there. I didn't like spending $198.00 for nothing.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr.Lynn about five years ago for multiple fillings. I have not written a review till now. As a person who has worked in the dental field myself for the past 6 years, I have never seen or even worked in an office as nice as Dr.Lynns. She has a relaxing setting from the moment you walk into her office. Also, her numbing methods are top notch. She has great bedside manner, her technology and overall appearance of the office is superb. But most of all, her work is art. The fillings I had done by her still look brand new and every time I get my teeth cleanings the doctors and hygienists always compliment the work she did! Great work Dr.Lynn. Negative experience: I went there in search of a provider in my network, which they said they were. I thought they checked, and if they really did, they deceived me. I requested Invisalign's on my first visit because I was told I needed them by another provider. They were very nice, professional acting, and accommodating upon my initial visit. I did everything I was told regarding the Invisalign installation. They referred me to a company for financing pre-approval prior to. I had a couple of issues with the Invisalign service, and one was the tech keeping one of my trays. I'm was new to this ordeal, and thinking back, I feel she should've returned the tray to me. An experienced professional would have. I now feel they didn't have the experience for this service. Another was upon removal of my brackets that were placed on my teeth in different areas of my mouth to hold the braces. The Tech failed to remove all of the glue. My teeth always felt dirty, like food is on them, but it was the glue. I complained about it, and the Tech told me I would have to wait until my next cleaning appointment because this appointment was for the Invisalign. Lastly, on my next appointment, I received the cleaning, although the Tech still failed to remove the glue. Upon leaving the appointment, I stopped at the front desk to pay my usual $15 copay that I paid previously and was told I owed $286. Shocked, I asked to speak with Indu (the doctor's husband who handles the financial matters). Indu was there but unavailable to speak with me when asked by the receptionist. I paid my bill, left, and have not been able to connect with anyone at this practice since. He was always unavailable. There wasn't anything going on with my insurance at the time, so apparently, Metro Dental wasn't in the CareFirst network from the beginning. They saw a chance to install Invisalign, which cost me $5k and took me in because you really don't need insurance when paying in full. This practice is deceptive. Please be careful when dealing with them. This was a complete waste of my time, and I totally regret it.

Negative experience: I have come in a few times and paid out of pocket for services and had overall good experiences, but this last visit i went specifically for a consultation on my wisdom teeth and cleaning but I let them convince me to get my last 2 fillings (mind you the teeth did not hurt that needed fillings) but I was convinced to do it and that it was best. Well after paying 1300+ for the 2 fillings, exam and cleaning i left and realized they never took my x rays. After leaving i was experiencing pain in one of the filled teeth that i didn't experience before, so I waited a few weeks too see if it would go away but I couldn't take it anymore so I went back and they did end up redoing it but now it's constant agonizing pain that's even worse! so I went to another dentist for another opinion and they said the work done at metro dental made the tooth "hot" and showed me the x ray of what the issue is and what caused it, Metro dental placed the filling right ontop of the nerve in my tooth!! So now I need a root canal and crown and I am pretty upset about this whole situation and I bet I won't even get as much as a refund for that tooth at the very least. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here :( would have saved me allot of hurt and ALLOT of money

Negative experience: I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Telling me to have a seat and wait for the treatment coordinator in which I waited for 45mins, and then I find out he just want your money. Will never go back I wish I could submit 0 stars. They told me my insurance was in network then later they send me high bill for just a dam xray. They just a rip-off. Went to another dentist and I had no cavities that they were trying charge 3K for SMH

Fantastic experience: Metro Dental is by far the best dentist office that I have visited. The professionalism from the staff is top tier. I had a cleaning at this office, and that appointment was the most pleasant experience I’ve had at the dentist office.

Negative experience: My husband was seen in March. Overall he liked the provider and staff during his visit. However, I have contacted the office atleast 6 times as our insurance company indicated that there is missing information in the claim submitted. I have been told that the information would be given to the office manager atleast 3 times and prior to that I was told the billing representative would give me a call. I guess because they got their money upfront, it’s not important to them that their patients are also reimbursed. Unfortunately, he will not be returning.

Negative experience: This place is a ripoff. They tried to charge my wife over 7k for dental work. We then subsequently went to another modern dentist that offers the same amenities for half. Don’t be fooled by a free smoothie and a fireplace. (And we know how insurance quotes work. I read that in another unprofessional response you gave to someone else and insurance is covering most of it). Best of luck to you and your practice but predatory practices won’t last in the urban community.

Negative experience: Why didn't I read the reviews regarding business practices. I too, was told my dental insurance was accepted, charged a deposit for an appointment and then overcharged at the conclusion of my service. I've been waiting for a $1500 refund for over two months. They don't take insurance. That is a lie to get you through the door. The dentist performing the service was good, however their business model is the "ole bait and switch". Proceed with caution. By that I mean proceed to another dentist!

Negative experience: This place is a SCAM! They gained my trust by being so welcoming and nice then tried to scam me of over $6,000. They told me all of this dental work I needed and gave me a list of what my insurance would cover and that my left over portion would be $6,000 which they did their best to persuade me to apply for credit for. Only for me to find out that they never even submitted anything to my insurance company so they had no idea what they would cover at all. When I confronted them they said that's only an estimate then why try to convince me to apply for $6,000 and they actually charged me $350 for a $700 procedure as a down payment of which my real cost was only $140. Do not go to these people!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Metro Dental for the past few months for my recent dental needs. The staff at Metro Dental have been nothing but amazing and friendly. Dr. Williams has been taking the ever most care to make sure that I am comfortable while I’m under her care. Even with my visit today Dr. Williams and her assistant Katy had to fix my filling and I am not a fan of needles but every time I come, Dr. Willams slowly takes her time so that I can adjust and not be so nervous. I really appreciate that in doctors. It really shows she cares. Metro Dental payment department are also wonderful. Wesley has been very patient in explaining the cost and is take time to answer questions and if he doesn’t know he goes and finds out before your next visit. I definitely recommend coming to Metro Dental, they will take care of you.

Fantastic experience: Dental appointments can be frightening, but Metro dental changed my mind after my first visit. I started off with Dr. Flanagan who was amazing, but she's gone now. My next visits were with Katie and Dr. W who welcomed me and made me feel just as comfortable. I have referred them to family and friends.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. They are unprofessional with their service which caused me to require the services redone by another dentist. The staff (Orlandra & Wesley) try their best, but the owner (Ngu) is horrible at best. I would not recommend them at all. The services they provided caused bone loss and an infection In response to your response, the many conversations were me trying to reach you, and you ignoring me. We both know why you refunded my money. I'm done.

Negative experience: Despite having numerous conversations with the admin staff that implicitly or explicitly stated the opposite, this facility failed to disclose that they are out of network for all insurance providers. After months of back and forth between my insurance provider and this facility to get to this information, I now realize I'm on the hook for significantly more out of pocket costs for major dental work than I budgeted. Although I have asked for my claims to be submitted with additional narrative to maximize my benefits and the admin staff assured me this would happen, the provider has not done so. I previously gave this facility a glowing review, which I'm changing now because of their lack of transparency, refusal to join network contracts for insurance, and refusal to submit additional documentation as an insurer requested. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Today makes my third visit when I say that Metro Dental has been good to me. I have a lot of work that needs to be done they have been on point. I have dental anxiety metro dental has done everything for me not to feel no pain. They’re the best. Make them your new dentist! Everyone has been very nice and friendly you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I suffer from dental anxiety pretty bad. I had my first new patient appointment today and all I can say is wow! The front desk staff was very polite, professional and friendly. The financial/treatment planner (didn’t catch his name) was so friendly, understanding, reassuring, empathetic and very informative. The dental tech (didn’t catch her name) I really wish I did but she was absolutely AMAZING she made me feel so comfortable! So friendly, non- judgemental and so very sweet! Thank you! I had Dr. Flannery and she was so patient, understanding, friendly, sweet and informative. The entire staff made me feel more at ease…. I genuinely love that!!! Will update once my treatment starts but I had an amazing first experience with this office. Thank you metro dental! Let me add that Markita (sp) the dental assistant was made for this job! She is so sweet, down to earth and a pleasure to interact with. Thank you!
