Marlborough Village Pediatric Dental Care

Negative experience: Very disappointed and dissatisfied with my daughter’s appointment on 8/20/26. I normally don’t write reviews but I feel underserved by every level of professional they offer. My appointment was scheduled for 4 pm and didn’t know they closed at 430. The receptionist began this experience without a greeting just saying “Her name?”. Followed by “Your visit will be 100$”. I could tell. she was disturbed about my appointment time but they shouldn’t have scheduled it. The hygienist was equally dismissive not attending to anything during her visit. In my previous experiences here the hygienist did the cleaning, not this time. My daughter is 13 and on the autism spectrum so I know can be overprotective of her but she wouldn’t let me be in the X-ray area which I can understand but in my previous visits they have let me stand a safe distance back so my daughter could see me. Then comes the dentist which truly disappointed me. He had my 13 year old sit through a 15-20 examination with no water. He didn’t turn the water pick on at all and gave my daughter a cup with an 1/2 ounce of water to rinse after the exam and cleaning. The hygienist applied the “vitamins “ to her very quickly with no apparent care or precision I couldn’t believe it. The only time I’ll be going back is to get the records and X-rays for my 3 kids. I’m disappointed because I did a lot of research to find a good dentist only to be let down. DONT OFFER 4pm APPOINTMENTS IF YOU CAN GIVE THE SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE AS GIVEN TO A 12pm

Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience at the Village of Marlborough Pediatric Dentist office. As a parent of a child with autism, going to the dentist can often feel overwhelming, but the entire staff treated my son with incredible kindness, patience, and respect from the moment we arrived. They never made us feel rushed, and I never once felt like my son’s struggles to cope were an inconvenience to them. Everyone was extremely hands-on, reassuring, and understanding, which made me feel truly comfortable bringing my neurodivergent child into their care. The office was also very efficient — we waited no more than five minutes for anything — yet they still took their time with us and made sure my son felt safe and supported throughout the visit. Most importantly, they weren’t over booked! That’s so important because it allowed them to see me at my appt time. Finding a dental office that is compassionate, patient, and genuinely accommodating to children with special needs is invaluable, and I am so grateful for the care we received. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: We had good visits at first, and the staff was always friendly, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, when my child needed outside dental treatment, our experience changed completely. They referred us out for dental work, but after getting a second and third opinion, we learned that significantly less work was actually needed. We were also told that because Marlboro Village created the referral, they should update it. They refused to do that, which was both confusing and disappointing. We ended up going elsewhere and received the proper treatment. Our experience left us feeling that more work was recommended than was truly necessary.

Fantastic experience: This is truly one of the best pediatric dental care offices. Everyone is very professional, friendly, and they are transparent and informative about all of my child’s dental needs. Just took his braces off and his teeth look amazing!! I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hagan and Evelyn are the BEST. I cannot recommend MVPD enough. I had such a lovely experience, and they always made me feel like a first priority. Dr. Hagan took exceptional care and wanted to make my smile perfect. Not only cosmetically, but has such a depth of knowledge to make sure that functionality is at the forefront of his corrections as well, and making sure that the bite and position is in a healthy place long term. I never could have imagined my new smile would look as good as it does now!!

The dentists here provide top-notch care, explaining everything patiently (can't emphasize this enough, Dr. Wilson has a future as the next Blues Clues host if he decides to leave dentistry) and ensuring my kids felt safe and confident throughout their appointments. The level of professionalism and kindness from both the dentists and staff is unmatched, making this the best dental experience my children have ever had. Fantastic experience: This is an amazing Pediatric dentistry to bring your children to. The Doctors are extremely soothing and friendly to deal with. All of the hygenist are totally awesome from Shay to Mary all the way too the front desk with Katie and Candice as well as the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend anyone to bring the children to them. Wilsons are the best!!!

Fantastic experience: The team there is wonderful and I love the set up with the husband and wife as the dentist. I send all my kids ranging from 2-14 years old. This location is also a lot cheaper than Berry dental in Bowie. Berry dental was going to charge me $250 to fix my son’s cavities and wouldn’t take off some of the items that was optional such as laughing gas etc…. I called around and found Marlboro Pediatrics, scheduled a visit a few weeks later. Marlboro did a dental check on my son’s teeth and told me it would cost ONLY $50 TO FIX THE SAME CAVITIES using the same optional items!!!! Lol. Sold!!! My kids have been with them and did not look back. Thanks from the McKenzie family !!!!

Fantastic experience: I found this pediatric dentist online, when I called I talked to the most kindest, friendly warm hearted lady and her name is Ms. Candace she had so much good energy and answered all my questions. When I arrived to my appointment's with my kids I knew by all bright smiles that my kids were in good hands!! Thank you so much. I high recommend this children dentist office and of course Dr. Wilson was excellent and went into details about my children teeth and very gentle when he examined them .I didn’t catch the lady name who did the teeth cleaning but she was also very good and gentle with the children !!!

Dr. Wilson is phenomenal with the kids and really has such patience to talk with a calm and regulating voice to the kids about what is happening. The team is beyond phenomenal and work with you to make sure your child(ren) get everything they need for fantastic dental health.

Fantastic experience: Dr Andre Wilson and his team of staff are exceptionally good with my kids. Trying to navigate dental care with kids is very challenging but Dr Wilson and his staff handled it so well. They were able to make provision for all of my four kids aging between five years and below with the twins in between; somehow, just some how they managed to see all four of my kids on the same visit and yet provided a very satisfactory care. I will continue to patronize this practice and will definitely recommend them to anyone seeking for a good Pediatrics Dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit and it went extremely well! The staff was very professional and the facilities were clean and inviting to children. Dr.Wilson had an excellent bedside manner with my toddler and the hygienist was very knowledgeable and skilled at working with my young son. I left feeling empowered to keep giving my child good care at home. Updated 7/23/24: My son had a cavity filled by this group. Everyone was professional and he had an awesome experience, which is a surprise for a dentist visit for addressing a cavity. He was not heavily sedated and was able to go to swim lessons later the same day. I highly recommend!

I told the receptionist that my son was interested in dentistry and she remembered to acknowledge him and refer him to the doctor if he had any questions. I wasn't in the best mood coming in and when the receptionist greeted me, she changed my mood for the better. Also, the dentist office is decorated with college flags to inspire the older children. That's something a person will never forget, and this was my first visit : )

Fantastic experience: My child has seen both dentists and they are phenomenal! My daughter has become especially attached to Jennifer Wilson, DDS. We recently moved nearly an hour away but my daughter, who previously had a lot of anxiety with other offices, has begged not to switch dentists so here we are. Per my daughter, "she is nice, knows how to calm kids down when they are nervous, and takes good care of me". I also appreciate that she comes out and communicates with the parents directly after each visit. Very friendly and competent front office staff as well.
