Fantastic experience: By far the best dentistry I’ve ever been too. I have three kids, two teenagers and a 5 year old with autism/sensory issues. He has always cried and been terrified of the dentist and for the first time ever he sat through the entire visit without crying and even allowed some X-rays to be done. I literally teared up. Special thanks to Maria. The entire staff and dentist are amazing, patient, kind and thorough. I’m so happy to have found this place!

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars – Highly recommend Dr. Namrata Shah I’ve been to Dr. Namrata Shah more than twice now and both visits were excellent. The staff is warm, professional, and always on time. Dr. Shah explains everything clearly without ever rushing. I had a filling done and felt zero pain — even the numbing shot was gentle. The office is spotless, and they validate parking, which is a huge plus. If you’re nervous about the dentist like I was, this is the place to go. Highly recommend her! --

Fantastic experience: I have gotten multiple cleanings from this clinic and also Invisalign done here. Everyone has been fantastic! The people who manage the schedule have been very accommodating and very kind about reminders about appointments. The hours that they have available have been incredibly convenient since my work hours can be erratic at times. During my Invisalign appointments I had the pleasure of working with Maria and Ebony, and they were both fantastic! I felt like I had a lot of face time with the dentist during both my cleanings and my Invisalign appointments, and she made me feel comfortable to ask questions and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable with each step. They also offered pretty flexible payment plans for the different treatments I received. I would definitely recommend to a loved one to come here for dental care!

Positive experience: I took the treatment plan I was given to another dentist for a second opinion. The second dentist recommended essentially the same work at about half the cost.

Fantastic experience: I had an excruciating situation that required a root canal. 6 different dental practices including MINT said they could not help me and sent me on my way. I contacted Dr Shah's office here and they agreed to see me to help. This was on Christmas Eve by the way. I went to her office where they informed me that they themselves could not help me, but that they would do everything they could to find someone available same day that could. They then got ahold of Dr Patel's office over at Endodontic Excellence. They agreed to see me just before end of business hours and did a root canal on the spot. I was still able to make my Christmas Eve church service! I cannot emphasize enough how amazing everyone at both of these offices were. I do not live close to either of these offices, but I will be traveling for all my dental needs from now on. Thank you so much Dr Shah and Dr Patel.

Fantastic experience: I came in with a back molar issue that was causing me pain. I shopped around different dentist and none was like Epic Family Dentistry. They definitely made me feel comfortable with the decisions with my teeth and understood the steps I wanted to take. It was about me, not about getting money off of me. Thanks to the staff and my beautiful Dentist Dr. Afsaneh for making me a comfortable in this process as possible and also, now Im walking away with my issue resolved and pain free! Negative experience: The positives were a nice office and friendly staff! However, it's been almost 2 years since my last visit and my mouth is still suffering from 6 fillings which upon a 2nd opinion, I didn't really need. My mouth and teeth felt fine before the fillings and then after I was in extreme pain for several weeks. Daily salt rinses, sensodyne toothpaste, and ibuprofen were my best friends. Eventually, the pain subsided (about 3 months later) but I'm left with teeth that feel sharp and sensitivity. That side of my mouth has never felt the same. I regret not going for a 2nd opinion after that first appointment and wish I could get the time and money back. Sweet people, but if they suggest multiple fillings, I would get a 2nd opinion.

I was told it would take two weeks but they placed a rush order just for me and it came back super fast. Not only the service was great but all the staff are amazing people. Fantastic experience: The office staff is amazing! Kimberley squeezed me in and she was able to get me in at the most convenient time for me. (Not once but twice!) She is so personable and an absolute rockstar! There has been a zero wait time the three times I have come in. They all work really great together as a team and I always have great conversations with them. Dr. Shah is very knowledgeable and explains in detail what is happening with your teeth and how she will fix it. She is detail oriented and it is obvious that she cares. I trust them 100%! She is warm, friendly, most importantly makes you feel comfortable (the dentist is not an easy place for some people to go). That welcoming face at the front is the first thing you experience at an office and can determine how someone feels about the place as a whole. My youngest is 8, has never been comfortable with the dentist or a cleaning, it has taken some time to get comfortable but he had the best visit ever yesterday! Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist that had hours to fit my schedule. Dr. Shah and her staff are super friendly and compassionate. Went today for my cleaning and I have a small mouth and Maria kept apologizing during the X-rays cause she thought she was hurting me. I was fine but this type of compassion is hard to find in a dentist office. Dr. Shah explained my dental plan and was very thorough and explained why she was going a particular route and even asked my opinion. The front office young lady is very sweet and makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Very clean office and on time. I would recommend Dr Shah and her staff to anyone looking for a caring dentist. I went back today 1-25 for extractions and Dr Shah and Maria were kind and kept making sure I was okay. I don’t like going to the dentist but this office rocks. She doesn’t like to use nitrous oxide but I did great and they alleviated my fears. The prices are very reasonable. Dr. Shah’s front desk person Kim is very friendly and goes out her way to make you comfortable while waiting. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Negative experience: I go to the dentist routinely 2x year, before coming to this dentist I hadn’t had a cavity since I was a kid. The previous time I went to my home state dentist I did not have any cavities. I came to this dentist for the first time assuming I would probably not have any, but of course there’s a large possibility . I was told I had 4 in between cavities and had to pay a couple hundred out of pocket to receive these fillings. In that moment I kind of felt like it was not true as I’m sure many people do, but I thought okay this dentist probably knows more than me lol let me just get the fillings. In about 5 months literally all of my 4 fillings fell out after flossing. I had never heard of this happening. And yes let me repeat that again not just one came out all four lol. I of course already pre scheduled my next appointment like they have you do and it was about time for me to go in for another cleaning. I tell them what happened and she does re do them for me, which was nice but I honestly would have preferred them just give me the $ back so that someone else could do them. Especially now a year and a half later because they’re still bad! I honestly don’t know if the filling was done incredibly badly or if I really never needed the filling, or a combination of both. Either way I regret paying for these fillings and feel scammed. After that appointment she told me I have some other ones to lookout for. I obviously went to a new dentist. My first checkup at the new dentist there were no cavities- the only thing they’re putting a watch on? An in between filling that needs to be redone… Honestly really annoying. They did give me some free teeth whitening that made my teeth bright though!! But honestly would have been cheaper and way less painful to just buy the teeth whitener! The dentist is nice and I hope they are being honest and ethical, but idk I just wanted to share my experience just in case they are not and there are other people with similar experiences.

Fantastic experience: This group of wonderful women make a terrifying experience into a cheerful and relieving one. I can't say enough great things about them. I don't have a single complaint. Kimberly always is the lovely lady I speak to when calling in for info or appointments, and she is just the very definition of consideration and compassion. Every hygienist I've ever had has been comforting, thorough, and overall wonderfully kind. Every employee here - no matter the position - is very in tune with you and how you're feeling and meeting your needs. My dentist (Dr. Namrata Shah) is a wonderful woman who does not care if you ask a lot of questions about any given procedure or diagnosis. In fact, she so thoroughly and calmly explains her findings that I find I almost never have any follow-up questions (and that says a lot coming from me, a natural skeptic and huge asker of all manner of questions)!! I will recommend Carrollton Family Dental to anyone who can read and/or hear. If you're a new patient, and/or you've got a killer toothache or tooth infection that you have put off because you're embarrassed of your teeth, don't want to get scolded by a dentist, are scared of the dental process in general, or have financial sensitivities, this practice will help you and restore your faith in dentists and your teeth. Dr. Shah does not shame you for the condition of your teeth, and she offers an annual plan for patients without insurance (which I don't have). I paid $250 for an annual plan that includes 2 free general exams, and a generous (and greatly appreciated) discount to all services. I can't remember exactly, but I believe it's in the realm of 20% off. And when you're counting pennies with a mouth full of gumline cavities and periodontal disease, that discount is precious. TLDR: All staff is wonderful. Patients without insurance accepted. Appointments can be booked as soon as same day. Discount plan offered for $250/year. Dr. Shah is a great dentist who genuinely cares for the comfort of her patients and their oral health. If you're shopping for a dentist or even if you're not - come here and see it for yourself. Thank you Shah and Kimberly and team for all the emotional support you've given me through what started as an excruciating and petrifying and terrifying endeavor to get my teeth where they need to be.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very kind! I hadn’t been to the dentist for ten years because of the lack of dental insurance. I only had five surface level cavities and they took care of them all at once. The time flew by quickly and they checked up on me often to make sure I was okay. I was very comfortable in their care. Fantastic experience: I previously had a very bad experience with my old dental office and my sister went here and recommended I do the same and I have had such a lovely experience with Carrollton Family Dental. Bed side manner is very good and considering I’m not the best patient, they checked in with me several times through the procedure to make sure I was feeling okay. All the people that work here are so wonderful and very sweet. 10/10 would recommend for anyone to come here!! ❤️

She is conservative in her treatment and I completely trust her treatment plan recommendations! Knowing she has the patient’s best interest at heart rather than a financial motivation is SO appreciated and SO hard to find these days!

Fantastic experience: The experience was pleasant from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They spent the time to educate me on the breakdown of the expenses item by item and what insurance would be covering and what I would be responsible for prior to completing the services — much appreciated! The office and stations are very clean and everyone is taking adequate precautions due to the pandemic. The doctor did an excellent job explaining her treatment plan and recommendations. Her treatment was effective and gentle as needed. I highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: I only have the highest praise and recommendation for Doctor Shah and her staff.  Since she opened her office my husband and I  set our appointments and even though we moved far away from her office, We will continue to travel to do our check ups and treatments with her. She's absolutely professional, respectful,funny and extremely caring. She's absolutely the best and as long I still live in the Metroplex area and will continue with her.

Fantastic experience: I visited here for regular checkup, followed by couple of visits for cleaning. Everyone here are so amazing. Dr. Shah explained all the details clearly, what & why those treatments are necessary. She was gentle and caring during all the treatements. Front desk lady Ms.Briseida, took care of collecting right details from insurance company to provide accurate estimates for treatment. Clarified all concerns. Hygeinists are well trained. Clinic and equipments are cleanly maintained.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Namrata Shah and Ericka/ dental hygienist are 100% awesome!!! Believe me you will be soooooo very happy if you become a new patient of Dr. Shah! Her office is beautiful and her entire staff is just amazing! In the past I have had extensive unnecessary dental work and a previous dentist that was not being honest with what work needed to be completed sooner rather than later! But.....instead was just holding off on needed treatment and acting like it was no big deal so he could cash in later on much more expensive root canals, fancy crowns and implants!! I literally was so feed up that I made it my 2020 New Years resolution to find a honest new dentist in Carrollton!!! If you are looking for a HONEST and ETHICAL dentist that knows what she is doing then do not look any further than Dr. Shah with Carrollton Family Dental!! Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful initial visit with Dr. Shah! Her receptionist, Breseda, is so friendly and personable. She went above and beyond to find an appointment to fit my schedule. Dr. Shah’s assistant, Erica, was wonderful and made sure I was comfortable as she took x-rays. She put me at ease right away. Dr. Shah herself was amazing. She explained everything she was doing and was absolutely painless! I like the fact that Dr. Shaw performs the teeth cleaning herself. All in all, I had a great initial visit with this clinic and would encourage everyone to schedule your own appointment!
