Positive experience: I've been a patient of Annapolis Green Dental for about 15 years. Since the opening of Divine Dental, I've been going to the new location which is clean, modern, and eco-friendly. The space along with the staff are welcoming and accommodating. As someone who used to despise going to the dentist office, this practice has eliminated my discomfort. I have seen three different dentists and they all do a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable while in the chair and do their best to ensure that my needs are met. If I had to offer a critique, an area of improvement would be professionalism in regard to the nature of conversations among staff within earshot of patients. Overall, I'm a happy patient with the holistic care I have received and my teeth are healthy!

Negative experience: Have billed for procedures that other DDS have verified did not take place. Unhygenic (roaches) and untrained hygenists. As far as shady dentists go, these are the worst.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience that I have ever had at a dentist office. Everyone in the office was so knowledgeable and extremely personable, which was definitely a plus. I can definitely see myself sticking with this practice, even after the first visit. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Horrible experience overall. Was charged nearly double what I was quoted with no warning. When I made attempts to question the billing, I was given very unclear answers. The office manager was particularly rude and dismissive. The worst part is that I question the work that was done. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. Based on prior reviews I'm sure I'll get a smart ass response here from said manager.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ross and staff did a fine job. Very precise with the diagnosis, practiced from intake through the procedure, and polished in their manner. Caring and careful practice.and people.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this practice. I had been going for several years without issue until I got a filling and a bill over $500 for charges that I was not made aware of and could not be submitted to insurance. When I raised the issue, I was told I'd need to speak with the office manager, Holly. This is where the terrible customer service came in. She argued with me and called me a liar (that I was told of the charges). In the end, they did realize it was their error and that I was supposed to get some sort of consent form for the process and following charges but that never happened. I ended up escalating to the dentist and they did refund me but I did not receive an apology for the error and no apology for Holly's behavior or how she handled the situation which did turn out to be their error. In fact, Holly then cancelled my appt 6 months later on the day of the appointment and I was cancelled as a client. This all just seems so petty and she was actually horrible to deal with. If this is the representative of their offices, that's a really bad look. I would never recommend this practice as long as she is there.

Negative experience: My first visit to the new office. My first impression was, Green Dental was a nice little practice in Annapolis, close to my home. I used them for the past 6 plus years. I just wet in for a follow up cleaning, was told I need a new set of xray”s during my cleaning. Then was told I needed to wait a bit for the dentist. Then was informed my teeth were in really bad shape with 9 issues that would cost between 15-18 k to replace/ repair. I was set back by the fact that in the past 5 years I have got that prognosis of my teeth needing that type of care. I have not seen or heard so many comments of being approached with this experience except to say I did not go through a simple cleaning to begin a full blown quote and then asking me if I not happy with my smile. Very Strange and pathetic behavior by the dentist today. Just sad to say the least.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Friendly and caring patient first vibe. First visit contrasted night and day from my previous dental offices in a very pleasant way. The location is great and away from the high rent medical buildings and plazas. My fees are going to dental care and not high overhead costs and rents.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience for laser treatment. Website said open at 9 but I called around 7:40 and the receptionist (who is amazing) got me in for an emergency visit at 8:30. They are quick and super kind!

Fantastic experience: Aside from scarce parking, this is a great location with amiable and knowledgeable staff. I will be going back to them for sure. Update: I went back for a follow-up and there was plenty of parking. Dr Ross is professional and his team is welcoming.

Negative experience: It never ends w Divine Dental. I was told via text by Holly as a courtesy of my failed implant they would remove the implants, (which have a 5 year warranty) make a bottom partial denture, and provide TMJ treatment (cold laser and Botox) . I still have stitches in my mouth to be removed on the 18th. I texted the office early last week because the receptionist mentioned I had a balance due. No response. Today I get a bill in the mail for $5k. This passive bait and switch is exhausting. I’m in the middle of treatment and this is NOT what we discussed. Sadly disappointed and aggravated-again. Considering contacting the ADA and submit a formal complaint. Got a phone call and two text messages this morning (Monday) that my appointment for the 18th has been cancelled. Note stating to call Holly w questions. Is this how they operate their business? No conversation and mid treatment? Sad.

Fantastic experience: We are so happy that we made a change to Annapolis Green Dental! We were frustrated with some of the policies, procedures, costs, and recommendations from the standard dentistry community. I was looking for a holistic and natural dental practice that was conscientious of overall body health. Dr. Gena and all of her staff are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and caring. My husband had an issue after our last general dentist did a root canal, and Dr. Taylor corrected it and alleviated any further concerns. I have had a cleaning and 3 amalgam fillings removed through a safe, effective, and painless process with AGD. They are gentle and attentive during all procedures. The office is organized and neat, and runs according to schedule. The staff caters to your needs, is extremely knowledgeable, and explains all procedures and options. They suggest healthy and natural products for overall health. We have told all of our family and friends about this wonderful team at AGD.

She’s helped me at the Annapolis Green location and now assisted me at the new Divine Dental location! Everyone there is amazing–I’ve recommended all my friends and colleagues to visit and give them a try!

Fantastic experience: I come here regularly with my family. I have a large family of seven, so when we come out tends to take a while. The office is always accommodating and the experience is pleasant. When we need work in excess of a simple cleaning, they are excellent, as well. I would recommend Absolute Green Dental to anyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: A little backstory first: for years, I neglected my teeth. They were painful and full of decay, and there were multiple reasons I avoided dental care, mainly fear of being judged and the cost. Recently, I was able to get dental insurance through my job, and because of the pain, I couldn’t put it off any longer. I found Green Dental through my insurance provider and went in for a consultation. Dr. Ross was so kind and honest about what I needed, while also understanding that I could only do a little at a time. Nobody in that office has ever made me feel judged. Jessica, the office manager, is incredibly kind as well. She always seems to sense my discomfort and patiently helps me figure out the financial side of things. She walked me through all the steps of setting up my payment plan, which made the process so much less stressful. The dental hygienists I’ve met have also been wonderful, so kind and gentle. I’m honestly so happy I found this place and excited to work with them to transform my smile into a healthy and beautiful one. So far, I’ve had one root canal with minimal pain and a crown to replace the damaged tooth. Today, I had another crown done for a broken tooth. Two teeth down, twenty to go! (Lol)

Fantastic experience: Ortho provider Dr. Ross is top notch as is staff, office environment and front desk. We've been going here for over about a decade now. Two root canal and a tooth extractwere performed flawlesslyamd relatively no pain. The front desk staff from finance, scheduling, admin are excellent and the dental hygienist is also excellent

Fantastic experience: Hi, My name is Judy. My experience at Annapolis Green Dental was almost like going to a spa for a couple of hours. The staff is great & the environment is very welcoming & clean. During my procedure I felt totally at ease. Being in the presence of professionals who really care about their clients spoke volumes for me. I think that integrity says it all. Quality results along with clear communication & easy to follow protocols will preemptively influence future visits for regular check ups. As long as my dental plan continues to cover my exams, cleanings or other services, I'll keep coming to this lovely spot which happens to be a holistic practice that offers superior alternatives to traditional dentistry. Knowing this made me feel more relaxed as the assistant prepping the space & while being on hand for specific doctor's needs, up to post prep. Again, staff is delightful. They take what they do very seriously as well. I was seen by Dr Ross today. We made exponential progress. Yah! Thanks Dr Ross.

Negative experience: Wow and shameful to the manager who couldn't even state her name when I inquired about my bill and why I was being charged an extra amount on top of what I paid for after my cleaning visit, no invoices, no clear communication of charges, no good practice business skills to handle something that is their responsibility, I paid for services only to find out there will be more mo ths later because the office isn't organized and didn't properly invoice me when I clearly stated I would pay out of pocket without insurance, their mistake to properly invoice is my issue is what I was told, with a tone that was 100% not customer service like.

Negative experience: Annapolis Green Dental was hands down the most horrific dental experience of my life and over a year later I am still dealing with the damage of their work. I visited them to get a second opinion on several dental issues after living abroad for a couple of years (with amazing dental care) and needing to find a new dentist in the states. They confirmed I needed certain treatments, but then tried to tell me I need a few other additional treatments. I ended up getting a few cavities I knew about filled and told them I would need to consult my dentist abroad before getting anything more extensive done. The doctor who did them immediately went cold and rushed my fillings when I wouldn’t agree to more costly work. She ended up overfilling them which ultimately caused me to get them taken out and refilled after a few months but the misalignment it caused in my jaw caused me TMJ which I still suffer from today. I paid a few hundred dollars to see a specialist and none of their machinery was working. I saw the “specialist” for 5 minutes — he didn’t have any images of my jaw or teeth but told me I needed to pull a tooth. Well come to find out after seeing another dentist I had a jaw infection that this specialist missed because he didn’t have any imaging! I ended up only needing antibiotics, a root canal, and my other doctors saved my tooth. I didn’t need any of the additional treatments they were trying to push on me. On top of that I noticed they overcharged me for certain fees. When I reached out to them they couldn’t explain the discrepancy, but told me they would reimburse me via check. That check never came. All in all I have ended up spending 1000s of dollars to correct their negligence. Be careful with them—make sure to get a second opinion and always double check your bills. It’s not only unethical how they run their practice, but it could also be dangerous for your health. Updated: Offices nonsensical response taking no accountability is only further proof to stay clear.

Such a clean and welcoming office! We drive an hour and a half just for this office! We love Dr G too! My wife and I are in our 70’s and these dentists are the best we’ve ever had! Outstanding dental work on crowns and implants!!

Jessica was fun to chat with….loved hearing her Texas “accent”. Dr Gena Schultheis, DDS fixed my tooth problem with a temporary solution. Going back for appt #2 next week. She was full of knowledge and wisdom. Giving them a 10 out of 10 today!

Fantastic experience: Many years ago, I had been told that my wisdom teeth were going to be a problem but I was reluctant to remove them because I felt they were a part of me and I was also scared of the potential pain. Jessica had empathy and clearly understood my fears and through numerous conversations, convinced me that everything would turn out for the best. She explained that she had been through the wisdom tooth extraction process and the doctors at her facility were among the best. I eventually did the procedure with Dr. Ross and Jessica and others came by to put me at ease during the event and talked with me and helped allay my fears. As a result, it was smooth sailing and I cannot even recall feeling any pain. Jessica also went over the post-op care to make sure I was aware of any issues and called me afterward to make sure I was doing okay. It is refreshing to have someone at the gateway who is kind and knowledgeable and can counsel the patient in non-medical jargon and I really appreciate being guided through this process by the staff at DENTIST? especially Jessica.

Negative experience: Today got worst service from Jessica. She was not at all responsive and was acting as if I am an inconvenience. She ought to know that a smile goes a long way in service jobs. I was there to get x-rays of my wife to be emailed and my experience turned out to be worse than getting a tooth pulled with pair of pliers. No reflection on the dentist but the office.

Fantastic experience: Green dental probably saved my mom's life locating a benign growth in my mother's jawbone. Their care and referral for proper care is exemplary. The employee's are all friendly and helpful. This practice has an easy and reliable online appointment generator. I recommend them for little ones also, very accommodating.

Positive experience: They were very professional and nice. Procedure (extraction of my baby tooth) went really smoothly and I felt no pain at all due to the numbing. The pain after the numbing wore off however, was terrible. I was crying and pacing up and down the Giant pharmacy in the same Mall while I waited for my prescriptions to be filled. Although the service and procedure was topnotch, I think I should have been given a couple of pain killers before I left to tide me over till I filled my prescription.

Negative experience: don’t let the nice appearance fool you, this place is a scam. every filling i’ve gotten from here has been utterly botched. i’m still losing fillings to this day. i had to go back SEVERAL times bc of the pain from a single filling. and that filling just exploded in my mouth and they refuse to fix it. they BUTCHERED my teeth. they want your money to do unnecessary fillings.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The ladies at the front desk are so friendly and funny. All of the dental assistants are gentle and my cleanings are always quick. What I like most about my interactions with them is they don’t shame you for being imperfect with your dental care but rather encourage reasonable expectations like “start with 1-2 days and work your way up.” Also, I’m kind of crunchy so I appreciate the natural products that they offer.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit. I got an extraction. The staff was caring and listened to my concerns. Dr. Ross and the staff reviewed all the information to ensure I understood each step. I'm so glad I chose to come to this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ross and his team were very nice. They greeted and treated me professionally and at the same time treated me as a person. Dr. Ross conducted a thorough dental history and exam. He gave me all of my options and we discussed them thoroughly. He took time to listen to and answer all of my questions.

Negative experience: We are very disappointed in our experience here. I set up an appointment to discuss orthodontic care for our daughter and was very specific about what her dentist said she would need. I even provided X-rays from our dentist’s office. We drove an hour to her appointment only to be told they do not offer the services we need but were still charged $189 for a consultation fee that was supposed to include a treatment plan. They lowered the fee when I asked, since we were leaving with nothing, certainly no treatment plan, but we are still out $99 and half a day of wasted time. I had high hopes but I unfortunately cannot recommend this office because they do not offer the services they advertise.

Fantastic experience: The intake forms that I filled out online bothered to ask me what my relative anxiety level was concerning dentistry. It’s the first time a dentist has ever done that. The hygienist was very gentle yet thorough. My teeth feel amazing! Dr. Nasser gave me sound advice about retainers, night guards, and orthodontics, with transparency about pricing. Considering the negative experience I had at my former dentist, this was very refreshing. They take my insurance, which is also another huge positive.

Negative experience: Was told I would have to pay a $35 “processing fee” to obtain a copy of my own $737 X-rays they took. Before They took my X-rays I had asked if they would use the X-rays I had done just 2 weeks prior by Dr Sinada in Columbia. The dentist at Annapolis Green would not bother to request very recent X-rays from another dental professional, saying their system probably was not compatible. While they Xrayed my teeth, another one of their staff was on the phone the whole time with an unhappy patient. Then after I paid them $737 for the X-ray they made of my teeth, they told me they would call me for the results. Then they called me and had no information except that I would have to go to a different location in a different town for the dental procedure. When I decided to seek another consultation elsewhere, the new place—Natural Dentist Associates in Rockville, MD, suggested that (unlike Annapolis Green place) I obtain previous X-rays. When I called Annapolis Green to do just that, the staff asked me why I wanted my own X-rays as if this was any of their business. When I said because I paid for them and they were mine the staff took a defensive tone. Then she said it would be $35 dollars to email me my X-rays. I decided to request my slightly older X-rays from Dr Sinada instead. In response to my request Dr Sinada Ghassan in Columbia, MD, sent me the X-rays (which cost much less) to my email right away no questions asked about my plans for my X-rays, and his staff asked me if I needed anything else. Because of the inappropriate response from Annapolis Green Dentistry plus their unprofessional online responses from to other customers who don’t appreciate their business practices, I do not feel I can trust this place. Their behavior is definitely not on par with some of their peers.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience here. I am a first time patient getting a chipped tooth fixed and needed a crown put on. Dentist Nasir and her assistant were very professional, pleasant, and took their time treating me. I am going back to have all of my dental work done by them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality dentist office.

Fantastic experience: The entire experience from the moment I walked in was curated perfectly for the individual. I felt like I was at home in San Diego. Everyone was so personable and relaxed, I had to remind myself I was in a dental office. Jessica, the front end manager, was beyond sweet & helpful and deserves a fat raise! Highly recommend if you’re in the area & if not, travel for them!

Positive experience: Dr. G is a good dentist but communication and billing is another issue. Hygienist did not inform me that she was taking Photo Images again (previously done with a partner practice and transfered) and not covered by my insurance. Hygienist also talked about using the water pick a little different during the cleaning and the practice charged me $ 19.00 which of course the insurance company denied. The billing practices are a big issue.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ross did a wonderful job on my Root Canal. He was able to compete the entire procedure in one appointment. I would highly recommend Dr.Ross to anyone seeking this procedure! Kudos to Dr. Ross!

Negative experience: After 20 minutes to tell me what I already knew, provided own xrays, and I get charged almost $400 for a above gum cleaning. What a disappointment. Wonder what ins pays. Want 1200 for deep cleaning. That's outrageous. No discounts for veterans too.

Fantastic experience: The staff is wonderful and kind. As someone who had a traumatic experience as a child with a dentist they have gone above the standard of care to ensure I feel comfortable throughout every appointment. I would recommend them 10x’s over.

Fantastic experience: Was not a patient beforehand, but they saw me on an emergency appointment. Everyone was very friendly and informative. They provided relief, when other local offices could not in a timely fashion. Highly recommended.
