Fantastic experience: My son and I have been going to A Healthy Smile for years. Dr. Gohard is super friendly and fantastic. Always making sure our teeth are well taken care of. Dr. Shah is fabulous with the issues I've had to have addressed and makes sure you are comfortable during the process. Jordan is a fantastic assistant...always on the ball and very personable. All of the staff are very friendly and make going to the dentist pleasant!

Fantastic experience: A Healthy Smile Dentistry is a well ran practice. Dr Bolo and her staff are very professional, insightful, and exhibit a high level of patience with their patients. After moving from Northern Virginia and having established a positive rapport with my Dentist there, I was very hesitant about the search for a new one. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Shah and her assistant, Jordan. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. I needed two fillings, and the procedure was quick and efficient, but they never made me feel rushed. Throughout the entire appointment, they checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and doing okay. I’ve seen several dentists over the years, and Dr. Shah and Jordan have been the most welcoming dental team I’ve encountered. Negative experience: Healthy Smile Dentistry is an extremely pleasant dental office. The doctors, specialist, receptionists and technicians are very professional and friendly. I'm extremely happy with all the restoration work, was completed in a timely fashion. The specialist was gentle and did an amazing job with all the process. I'd visited few dentals offices in the area and Healthy Smile provided the most welcoming and comfort for anyone to get the best dental care.

Negative experience: Since taking over from Dr. Gleckner, the experience at this office has been disappointing. Routine cleanings are often paired with recommendations for full X-rays, which feel unnecessary. More frustrating, when they refer you out for procedures, your records don’t follow. I’ve had to repeat the same X-rays elsewhere and pay out of pocket again. When this was raised, the response was excuses rather than solutions. I would not recommend this practice if you’re looking for transparent, coordinated care.

Positive experience: The dentists and hygienists here are great and professional. However, the front desk staff could benefit from additional training in customer service and courtesy. When questions are asked, ( I was there with and for my son who is 18 and been there at the practice since he was 13) it's important for them to provide answers or seek information if they're unsure, rather than offering unsolicited parental advice.

Negative experience: Unprofessional Management and Lack of Respect for Patients' Time. I have visited this clinic three times, and each experience has been consistently poor. There is a systemic lack of communication and professionalism that makes it impossible to recommend this office. First, getting a simple answer over the phone is an ordeal. I’ve had to call over five times in a single day because the front desk fails to follow through on promised callbacks. Second, their clinical attention to detail is concerning; they actually performed an extraction and forgot to take the necessary X-rays beforehand, forcing me to make an extra trip back to fix their oversight. Most recently, I arrived for a post-op appointment they scheduled, only to be told I wasn't in the system. Despite it being their error, there was no apology. While they eventually agreed to see me, I was left waiting for a long time and felt completely ignored until I repeatedly asked for a status update. A clinic must value its patients' time and treat them with basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this office treats patients like an afterthought. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I have a patient of Dr. Gohard for the past 10 years. After I retired to FL, I still come to see her. The trust and the bond that have been developed strongly through her professionalism care and expertise level. I could not find this level of services in my new residential area. To me it is worth to fly from FL to see her in NJ each time for my dental care.

Fantastic experience: I switched to A Healthy Smile from another dentist in Florham Park that had a terrible front desk and the dentist told my daughter she had 6 cavities - the dentist at a healthy smile, after doing their own x-rays - she only had two cavities! My whole family (my husband, myself and my 3 adult children) switched here beginning of this year and I couldn't be happier with the dentists, their customer service and the front desk staff is so pleasant, it's so refreshing. Don't believe the negative reviews...I am sure there was a reason. The representative at the front desk argued with our insurance (Horizon) because they said my daughter met her max and she was like how is that possible when the year just started and this is her first visit!? It took her half an hour but she got it done. I highly recommend A Healthy Smile!

Negative experience: Horrible dentist. They didn’t address some of my concerns and just brushed it off. It is also really hard to get a hold of them. Also they made the mistake of putting me as the recipient of the insurance checks, half of which I didn’t get. As a result I had to pay more out of pocket. Would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: For anyone that is apprehensive of going to the dentist, or has had previous disappointing experiences, Dr. Bhola will be your lifesaver. Patient care is most certainly her forte. She's attentive, genuinely interested in and concerned with your overall wellbeing, and 100% non-dismissive. Even when the office is busy, she keeps calm and devotes her attention to each patient with care and precision. Dr. Bhola eased my discomfort on a longstanding issue within a week that had been dragged out for six years by previous dental care. I will definitely be continuing my care with Dr. Bhola and will even be looking forward to my dental visits from now on. Thank you, Dr. Bhola!

Negative experience: We like Dr Das and her very nice demeanor. The location is convenient. If we dont have to deal with their front staff and billing staff, we would continue working with them. However, the staff is very poor in handling insurance claims with the providers. Three times, they mistakenly had the claim checks from insurance sent to us. As a result, it took several hours of discussion with insurance provider to track the checks. The dentist office was very unwilling to assist with a mistake they had made in the first place. Also, they dont send receipts of payments made (only text payment confirmation), which makes it hard to trace which payment was made for what service. Again, the staff offers no help, and is generally in a bad mood (not sure why). Also, they regularly push for out of pocket procedures like flouride, X-ray etc even during routine cleaning - not very ethical business practice. Staff needs to go, else the practice is doomed.

Negative experience: Skilled staff but too focused on generating revenue. They acquired the practice from a retiring dentist and immediately they began recommending procedures. Actually overheard staff talking about meeting their financial incentives. More about $ and less about my heath. Sadly, I can’t trust them. Moving on.

Negative experience: Unfortunately the practice has gone down hill since their merger. Constantly waiting 20+ min after appointment time for simple cleanings. Straw that broke the camel’s back was having to reschedule due to sickness and the receptionist couldn’t have been ruder. Time for a new dentist

Fantastic experience: Apt on time,many dental exray,no comment,still eventually I explained to dentist my urgent problem,I needed from dentist clearance that my teeth are in reasonable order at 84 y if age, for my oncologist to proceed with injections for bone strengthen,sinse have stage 4 breast cancer spreading to my spine mostly, Dentist seemed to understand specifically since I hadn't can walk,and gave me an other appointment in 4 days Saturday 8 16 2025 , Hopefully Cancer which is treated vigorously but oncologist will wait ,Dr Yasum Gadartt has been my dentist for last 10 years TE

Negative experience: Dr Gohard is not a good dentist. Had a root canal done and crown. She could not get it right after 3 attempts of imprints, so many x-rays and returned crowns. Finally, after the 4th attempt and filing the tooth down to a toothpick, she placed it. Now tooth bothers me and going elsewhere. Furthermore, the office overwhelms you with constant calls and text. The harassments are nonstop. I saw the dr's replied to my claim, and stated I was not a patient. I assure you I was a patient; I used this name for anonymity purpose.

Negative experience: 2025 update to my review, changing my five stars to one. Unfortunately as with many or most businesses in our society, this dentist has become focused on money and profits versus being a caring dentist. My wife and I were one of her first patients, as she took over the office of our neighborhood retiring dentist. She was great! It was just her, along with one receptionist. Now it has become a “practice” with three or four upfront personnel, just to handle the non-dental tasks. Three years ago, I needed a root canal and cap. The billing manager offered me a discount if I paid using cash. I took the offer and paid cash. Bill was well over a thousand dollars, plus ten cents. They didn’t have ninety cents change so she said they would zero out the ten cent balance. Three years later, I receive a text and an email asking for payment… for twenty cents. 100% interest! …for a erroneous delinquent balance on my account. I called their office to verify the charge, plus I sent a reply email… person on phone said there is a balance of $0.20 and giggled. I visited the office two days later to clear the balance. The dentist was not available for a brief conversation. The billing manager had no empathy and couldn’t understand why I was annoyed. She even got nasty and said to me “it’s not like you come here” implying that since I don’t come and give them money regularly each and every year, I can go away. My wife and I will never go back! Below is my five star review published in 2017: “If you are looking for a dentist, you owe it to yourself to give Dr. Gohard a try! First and foremost you will be very happy with the results. And equally happy with the friendly and courteous treatment from both her and her great staff. She is a great dentist with very confident skills in both giving you great results while ensuring you the most minimal of discomfort - if any. Her office is also equipped with the latest in technology.”

They will make their best effort to find the solution for patients, and they won’t stop their pursuit until the patients are happy. I am a cancer patient, and my mouth has very limited opening due to the radiation to my right side of the face (I had head and neck cancer), and I had urgent dental need. The doctors at Healthy Smile Dentistry worked as a team over time and had my tooth fixed. I am extremely happy. Thank you Healthy Smile Dentistry! What a wonderful group of dentists!

Negative experience: Not very please with them after the move. They always used to be great in the beginning. I took a leave for about a year or two and then came back to get a cleaning and X-rays. I needed a tooth refilled and not once did they tell me it may need a root canal. I’m also missing some teeth so they advised me to start with Invisalign before I get an implant. 2 months later the filling fell out and a few days later I was in excruciating pain and because of their hours and not having any emergency services I had to find somewhere else to go. I ended up needing an emergency root canal and now I need a crown which I can’t get because the Invisalign won’t fit. I wish this was caught before I ended up dropping and wasting 4K.

Fantastic experience: First I want to say how nice Dr. Gohard is, she and her staff made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I went for a Botox session for TMJ. A friend highly recommended this office and I’m glad I came in. I have problems with clenching and grinding my teeth which resulted in terrible headaches and muscle tightness throughout my head and jaw. I always knew about Botox relieving pain but I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted to do it. I finally decided to take my chances and try it. I can’t believe how much relief I got from it. It was my first session and the headaches are gone. The muscle tightness went away and I am so pleased with the results! My only regret is not getting it done sooner! Thank you Dr. Gohard.

Negative experience: Not a fan. Old dentist sold his practice, then turned into a complete chaos, I think now better but still unorganized. High turnover in front office that doesn't seem to know what they're doing, different dentist each time I visit, and just now a 'reminder' phone call voice message that turned out false. I called the office which says i just came 2 months ago so I don't have an appt coming up. Maria the dental hygenist is fantastic, but otherwise I'm done with this place.

Negative experience: The service at this dentistry is really pathetic. I went to this dentistry reading all the glowing reviews which in retrospect seem fake. Also it seems this practice was recently bought over from the original dentist who has retired and they have kept the same name. My experience here was really poor and unnecessarily rough during routine cleaning and thought they thought it was a good time to upsell me some resin treatment DURING the cleaning. Also i did not appreciate the personal chitchat the dentist and the assistant kept on doing instead of focusing on the patient. I thought my nightmare was over but after 7 months I have now received a surprise bill from this dentist without any explanation. I tried to contact them on their website but no surprises here...it says server error. There are better dentists around who are much gentle on your teeth, do NOT upsell you in the middle of your cleaning and focus on the patient and not what they were planning to have for lunch.

Fantastic experience: I now actually have a good time seeing the dentist. An extremely competent and caring staff supports one another beautifully. Dr. Gohard’s professional and communication skills are only surpassed by her genuine kindness. As a legitimate dental phobic, my life is better having met this group of extraordinary people. Be good to yourself and call them sooner than I did.

Negative experience: My name is Mr Lee i had a 11:00 meeting schedule with Dr Gohard, I sat in her office and observed 4 people come in after me and were scene before me. I explained to the receptionist that this was unacceptable and unprofessional!! She said she was sorry it was the doctor that schedule everyone to come in at 11:00 and she then decided whom she would see first!..I walked out, not interested in ever coming back to this office for any reason!! I STATED TO THE RECEPTIONIST THE DRS UNPROFESSIONALISM GIVES CREDIT TO ALL THE BAD REVIEWS HER OFFICE HAS RECIEVED!! ALL OTHER REVIEWS ARE PROBABLY PURCHASED OR FAKE. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS!!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, short wait; Dr. Gohards, techs and hygienists are professional, painless, efficient, and friendly. They even have TVs in the room! Also provide Invisalign service for adjusting my teeth and night guard that reduces grinding of my teeth

Fantastic experience: I’ve read some reviews on Google and have to believe the people are either still under anesthesia or just CRAZY. I’ve been going here for about 8 years and never have had an issue. Transitioned to the new team (dentists can retire and relocate it’s okay people) and the new dentists are both professional and kind. Dr. Gohard replaced some 20+ year old fillings last wonderfully. Dr. Lauren is treating me with care and kindness with a current gum issue. The BEST is and always will be my hygienist Maria who is second to NONE. I’ve developed some dental phobia over the years and the team (especially Maria) is the only one I’ll go to. If I move away, I’ll fly back for my regular dental work! And the office staff is always friendly too. What more can a patient ask for? Can I give 6 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️?

She also checked me in for my visit with a friendly smile. Jessica the hygienist did a great job with my cleaning and was super gentle, no sensitivity at all. She also explained my treatment plan options to me in detail after the doctor completed my exam, ensuring my understanding of all of my options. Will definitely be coming back for all of my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Healthy Smile for about 5 years now, I’m a very nervous patient and fully trusted Dr.Mark after he left I was so scared I wasn’t sure what I was going to do I met Dr. Twisha as soon as she came in I just knew I was in great hands I’ve had multiple procedures and she’s wonderful she knows how fearful I am, she always makes sure I’m doing ok through the procedures she’s kind, warm and is all around a lovely person we always share stories and chat I can’t recommend Dr. Twisha enough if I could give her 50 stars I would. My mom now sees her and my best friend made her first appointment. Dr. Twisha is amazing book your appointment with her you will not be disappointed and I must say the staff at the front is helpful too, they help me get in when needed and always welcome me when I enter! Fantastic experience: I had a terrific experience today at A Healthy Smile Dentistry with Dr Marina Ibrahim! I had cracked a front tooth and my dentist was on vacation needless to say I was nervous to go elsewhere but I could not be happier you can’t even tell it was repaired. Dr Marina Ibrahim was so gentle personable and knowledgeable as soon as she viewed my x-ray. Cindy her assistant was helpful warm & friendly. I highly recommend this office and will be transferring for more dental work. Ashley & Amani at front desk were great as well getting me in for an urgent same day visit and answering all my questions prior to and after my appointment! I will be sending my son who returned from college and is in need of examination. I highly recommend! Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: Have been taking my kids to Healthy Smiles for many years, love the staff and doctors! On our last visit Maria the hygienist was super thorough and wonderful. Our dentist, Dr. Laura was patient and spent time explaining a wisdom tooth issue with my daughter and promptly gave us a referral to an oral surgeon! We love the new office too!!

Negative experience: Very sloppy and irresponsible service. Got acid dripped into my eye during a routine procedure, and it burned excruciatingly for a few seconds. My cavity fillings were also done poorly; I had one fall out just 2 years after I got it in. Finally, after switching dentists (2 years too late), I had to call them THREE separate times to get a copy of my X-rays sent to me, with each person falsely promising they would be sent within the next day or so (until the last person, who graciously sent them over on the call). I also usually don’t write many reviews, but I’m actually baffled as to how this place has so many good reviews, so I felt it was my duty to the public to warn them away.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service experience recently. I had a 10 AM appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. At 10:10, no one was at the front desk. Someone mentioned that they were in a “staff meeting”. Why would you schedule a staff meeting at the same time as an appointment? No excuses for poor customer service and no communication. So I walked out and I won’t be back. In addition, during my last visit there, I asked to see Dr. Gleckner when I was told that my gums needed surgery. I’ve never been told that during any previous visit, and all of a sudden I need surgery? Now I understand Dr. Gleckner is retired and I wish him well. If I had known that he wasn’t part of the practice, I would have switched dentists before wasting my time. I hope you have a better experience; make sure you get a second opinion before agreeing to any services they deem as “necessary”..

Fantastic experience: Very nice new building in a great convenient location. Few weeks ago, my dental hygienist did an amazing job! Anastasia at the office is wonderful. Earlier today, I had Dr Marina to finish one of my dental care and I am very grateful for the services I have received from her. She is a highly skilled doctor who has an efficient and caring staff. She genuinely takes the time to explain all dental procedures and to make you feel comfortable. I appreciate that they go above and beyond providing great dental care and customer service at the time you check in for your appointment. Always a pleasant experience. They are all amazing and recommend all patients to try and will have a dentist for life.

Fantastic experience: My first time here and I have to say overall the service was excellent! Front desk employee was a little lost and didn’t greet me. Once I was brought to the back by Shomara my experience was uphill from there! Shomara was super nice and patient with me. Dr. Lauren was amazing too. She was very thorough and very gentle and needless to say fixed my dental issue. I can tell she’s happy to help and very caring with an experience that causes so much discomfort for me. I’m excited to continue my care in this office. 4.9/5!

Negative experience: I never write reviews but since most of the reviews here seem to be fake, i figured i needed to. Every person I know who has went to them has some sort of issue with them. For me, they were rude and very unprofessional. One time while I was there, one of the employees had their child running around while everyone was getting their teeth worked on. It was unprofessional and nerve-wracking. Another time, pre-covid, a dental assistant kept coughing on everything, and contining to apologize while saying it was only allergies. (I dont care what it is, please don't cough on tools you are putting in my mouth.) On the last visit I went to the dentist left me alone for 10 minutes to give me a "break" while she went to laugh and joke with another employee. She then accused me of waisting time when I asked to take 5 seconds for me to breathe while I got nauseous. She rushed through the rest of the appointment and my new dentist had to fix her work. I knew that was my last straw, I didnt want to go back there. They still keep calling, as they had created a cleaning appointment for me after I first told them that I wasnt going back there. They called again a week later to again try to confirm that appointment and I had to tell them again that I am no longer a patient of theirs. The record keeping is terrible here! I would not recommend them at all. Honestly, when people say they are looking for a dentist I tell them just to avoid Healthy Smile.

Negative experience: I wasn’t able to establish any trust with this practice. Always felt like my mouth was treated like an ATM. They were always attempting to sell me on services, treatments, and products that I felt I didn’t need. During my last visit the actual dr. applied fluoride after I declined to receive that treatment. She just did it anyway, then charged me for it… really shady. I left and found a family practice nearby that has been so much better so far. They provide great care, no long waits, and I don’t feel like an ATM. They will also work with your insurance on payment instead of having you pay for the service upfront and chasing reimbursements yourself.
