The sheer amount of care, intellect, and kindness he showed to a new patient was a 180 from others we encountered. We drove an hour to get to his office, and he has officially earned our loyalty for years to come. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Howie is the best. During our first visit he gave us his personal number in case of emergency. Three years later with our younger child, we confirmed he is Doctor of his word and we were able to get ahold of him immediately for a dental emergency. It was evening on a holiday weekend and he spoke to him several times that night. He saw us at 7:30am the next morning and continued to check on us through the week. He is an incredibly caring and skilled dentist. Aside from this latest ordeal, my daughter LOVES when she gets to go to his office. He has made going to the dentist a fun, positive experience. His staff is so nice and friendly. Appointments are quick and on time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Howie for your guidance and help in our emergency tooth situation for our 22 month old. Dr. Howie answered his cell phone on a holiday at 7 pm to talk us through the next steps then met us at the office a half hour early to triage before a whole day of work. Thank you!!

He was the only dentist that was able to get 2 of my kiddos to stop sucking their thumb many moons back. He gives kids a sense of agency and empowers them to be better about their dental health. That translates to happier and healthier kids and parents all around!

He is also especially good with special needs patients—that is a game-changer.

I am embarrassed to say how many cavities he has filled for my kids but I will say he treated them like his own, put in preventative measures to keep their teeth healthy for the future, and his work has been perfect! My kids love coming to his office because they love him and the entire experience at his office. He is also very reachable outside office hours for emergencies and has called and texted us when we needed him. He is the best!

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Dr. Howie just gets better and better! Unfortunately our three year old developed a cavity, so she needed it filled. The entire experience with Dr. Howie couldn't have been smoother. No waiting in the waiting room, straight back to the chair. He made sure she was so relaxed and moved fast to complete the work in a thorough way. Constantly telling us what he was doing, reminding her she'd be visiting Toy Town (his little prize section), and keeping her calm and happy. (Plus keeping ME calm!) Then he called that evening from his personal cell to make sure she was OK. Just amazing pediatric dentist!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Dr Howie enough. I have 5 kids who love going to the dentist because of the fun and happy atmosphere he creates (he's hilarious). He is incredibly conservative in his treatment plans, which puts my Mamma's heart at ease. Dr Howie says he treats his patients like he would his own children and I know that's true because I've seen the care with which he's treated my kids for years. I trust him wholeheartedly and am so grateful that we found him when our kids were very little. Dr Howie was originally recommended to me by a friend after I'd brought my kids to another local pediatric dentist that wanted to do several fillings in my very small children's' baby teeth. Dr Howie chose temporary fillings and kept an eye on those teeth until they fell out; way less invasive and a much easier and happier experience for my kids (no novocaine, no drilling), and less $$ too. We've been with Dr Howie ever since and I am so grateful for the care he continues to give my kids. He's honest and always chooses the least invasive treatment for my kids and thoroughly explains all options to me. Dr Howie is the best pediatric dentist around - I can't recommend him highly enough.

Really relates to the kids and make a potentially not so fun experience a blast! My son definitely takes care of his teeth better because he’s motivated by Dr. Howie. We never feel pressured to purchase anything or to get optional services and the staff is always kind & sweet. Now that my son has braces, Dr. Howie is even more helpful but keeps things light and entertaining-my son loves him! Definitely recommend highly!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Howie is an amazing pediatric dentist who has the best bedside manner with kids. Such a wonderful sense of humor and so gentle with my son who is orally defensive. He did the cleanings himself to build trust and it worked. In 15 years my son has never complained about going for a checkup/cleaning. Dr. Howie referred us to an excellent orthodontist (shoutout to Dr. Rothenberg!) who made all three of my kids’ teeth straight and beautiful. I would (and have) refer anyone with kids to Dr. Howie. His staff is wonderful as well (Jane and Denise, you’re awesome ). Highly recommend!!

I went to MANY dentists before Dr. Howie and his precise yet conservative care is why I bring my children. At other local practices my children would have multiple cavities each visit. I felt pressured into services on their baby teeth that in hindsight were not necessary. There was a dramatic change with Dr. Howie and I am confident he's providing the best care without a desire to push unnecessary treatments. It's a night and day difference for me. Thrilled to have found such wonderful dental care for my family. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The team at Doctor Howie's office was incredible. They saw both of our children, ages 4 and 7, at the same time. They made sure the children were comfortable, made adjustments when the children expressed discomfort, gave them breaks when breaks were requested, and gave both kids developmentally appropriate education about how to care for their teeth. Both kids left feeling happy and confident.

Fantastic experience: To be a doctor of any sort, you must feel a calling in your life. Dr. Howie is an even rarer find, in that he genuinely cares deeply for the experience of his young patients and takes the time to ensure that experience is as positive as it can be.
