Espire Dental Lakewood

Negative experience: Disappointing is the word that comes to mind. I’ve been a patient here for five years and I will not be going back. I drove 30 minutes today for my appointment only to be told they couldn’t verify my insurance. Instead of texting me or calling me after I provided the information, they let me drive a total of 60 minutes for nothing. I called my insurance company on the way home and they confirmed my benefits using the information I provided Espire.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lazaroff and his team are amazing! Everyone is very patient and understanding, caring. Some people are nervous and scared going to the dentist but Dr. Lazaroff and his staff had my daughter comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Thank you for being so good to us and thank you Clear Creek Dental Clinic for the referral .

Fantastic experience: Excellent team of dentists and hygienists. It’s been 10+ years since I saw a dentist, and I was anxious. This was a 100% guilt free environment. For example, instead of “dental problems” Dr. Scott had a positive/neutral approach, he objectively pointed out things he’s looking for with my teeth and went through all of the imaging with me. He was collaborative in presenting his ideas on next steps and gave me different options. He pointed out his positive observations about my teeth/dental status, which was completely new to me. My previous dentists have given me lectures on the importance of oral hygiene, pointed out my shortcomings and relentlessly “educated” me on proper brushing and flossing habits, which made me feel ashamed and talked down to, like a child. This was not the case with Dr. Scott. I was mentally preparing to overexplain my mental health difficulties, Tuck my tail between my legs, and confess to neglecting oral hygiene practices. However, at no point did I feel like my dental status was my fault, and I really appreciate that. I also appreciate that I was given treatment options for pain management, including injections/local aesthetic, gas, and sedation options. I was also impressed that they could help me with getting a new retainer, which I’ve had to go to an orthodontist for previously.

Fantastic experience: Dave was a great assistant and .Dr Tanner was outstanding at reattaching a crown that had come off.

Negative experience: Was finally convinced to have 2 crowns replaced that weren’t causing me any issues, was told that I needed to have it done by the end of 2025 to use up my benefits on my dental insurance plan. Come to find out they never contacted my dental insurance provider and that I needed to wait 2 more weeks to receive benefits after a 12 month waiting period. Please don’t tell people they’re approved with their insurance company and they need to get work done asap when it’s actually not covered at all.

Fantastic experience: Went to have a cleaning and the receptionist Gabby was so nice and friendly and honestly a breath of fresh air. Gaby my hygienist was amazing!! My teeth felt so great and I was happy to find out I don’t need a root canal!! Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I recently switched dentists due to unprofessionalism and gross incompetence from the clinical staff. Espire Dental Lakewood was recommended to me by a friend, and from the very beginning, I could tell this place would be my forever dental practice. From setting up the initial appointment, from the staff following up, and the pre-visit paperwork being so easy (especially for a new patient) to fill out, this process was so smooth. Once I checked into my appointment, the front desk staff was phenomenal. My hygienist was Sarah Jane, and she is the absolute best!!! She has an amazing personality, kept me relaxed throughout the visit, explained everything before she proceeded, and from a clinical standpoint was simply awesome. I then was seen by Dr. Scott Lazaroff, and he continued the professionalism. His explanation of what procedures were going to happen today and what should be done in the future was so easy to follow and did not seemed forced at all! I immediately could tell he is a dentist of integrity and honesty. Finally, the way he explained all the clinical stuff, you could tell he really knows his craft. Lastly, him walking me to the front desk when we were done was something I had never experienced before. The front desk staff did a superb job of what to expect in follow-up visits and broke down everything in a very simple way to understand. This dental practice is the best in the greater Denver area!! I highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: SO FAR SO WONDERFUL I had a wonderful first experience recently. I received a thorough and informative New Patient Visit with Dr Steinmetz and the Ass’t Ryan. Updated X-rays and a review of my health records, including treatment options and recommended prioritizing, were followed by opportunities to ask questions and for any clarification until I got it. Ryan and Dr Steinmetz are very personable, knowledgable and clear communicators. Not one of us is exempt from making an error, having a bad day, or just experiencing a one-off. What we do to recover and restore is far more important than the situation. If Espire Lakewood practices that significant principle, I’m all in.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit and Nicole was very patient and nice throughout new patient onboarding process. She answered all my questions patiently and was very gentle throughout. Dr. Scot was very nice, friendly and gave valuable advice. They both came up with a treatment plan and ensure I knew about the out of pocket expenditure. The receptionist Gabriel and the person helping with estimates were very helpful too. Overall, amazing experience and I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience with this office. Nearly every appointment I’ve scheduled has been rescheduled by them the day before due to “scheduling conflicts.” I completely understand that occasional conflicts happen, but when it becomes a pattern at almost every visit, it starts to feel extremely disrespectful of patients’ time. Most recently, my appointment (which had already been pushed back from the previous week due to their scheduling issue) was set for a very early and inconvenient time because that was the only time that they were able to accommodate. Unfortunately, I was delayed by a road accident and arrived late. Despite the repeated flexibility and understanding I’ve shown them when they’ve canceled on me, I was not given the same courtesy. While they did ultimately waive the fee, it felt as though it was granted reluctantly. On top of that, I’ve had repeated issues with their billing department. I’ve paid balances, only to later receive calls saying I still owed money. I then had to go back and forth providing proof of payment, and frustratingly, the issue would happen again after future visits. To be fair, the cleaning staff and clinical team have been perfectly fine. However, the repeated scheduling problems and ongoing billing confusion with the front office have made this experience stressful enough that I won’t be returning. I would not recommend using them.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service! Fast, and the staff is so kind. I forgot my HSA card at home and they let me call them back for payment once I got home. I cannot recommend them enough!

They were both very knowledgeable and friendly, which made a usually nerve-wracking experience feel comfortable and pleasant. The front desk staff were just as accommodating and walked me through everything I needed to know in detail. They laid out my treatment plan clearly and explained what needed to be done right away versus what could wait—no pressure at all. They also offer payment plans to help break down the cost of bigger procedures. I’m really happy to have found such a wonderful practice here in Lakewood!

Negative experience: Service was great in the beginning but not sure what happened the ladies at the front when I would call were so RUDE! It wasn't just one lady, it was multiple ladies! Absolutely terrible Service! A place of Business shouldnt act like that, very unprofessional! Please Save yourself the trouble and read other reviews! Negative experience: Are charging me money with NOOOOOO information to it and will not respond to me about these charges that are NOT MINE. No one has followed up with me for almost a month now and are double charging me for things they are not even doing!!! Highly upset and believe they are not following through as a good business!!!

So I finally called ... omgg what an great place! The ladies at the front desk are so kind and friendly.. Dr.Scott and his assistant Zeph are the best. When Dr.Scott gave me shots to numb me, I did not feel them at all.. This was the first time in my 62yrs that it DID NOT Hurt at all... and I'm am not afraid of Dentist. Negative experience: I switched insurances and was looking for a new dentist so I went with Espire. I have never had a single cavity as an adult and Espire told me I had 5 this past August 2025. With insurance it was going to come out to a couple hundred dollars to get them filled. I couldn't believe I had 5 so I went to another dentist office to get a second opinion today. I was told I have ZERO cavities. I couldn't believe it. DO NOT go to Espire. They will find anything to get your money. Thank goodness I went to another dentist. For those looking for a good dentist - go to Kip Dental in Littleton. Espire did me dirty.

Negative experience: Can I give negative reviews? Avoid at all costs. Put my husband's cap on backwards, then told him there was nobody available to fix it and he, while in pain, should call around to find a dentist available to fix it. Overbilled me by nearly $1,000 and kept the money, claimed they had no way of knowing or telling me they had overbilled me - found out by accident when I went back and I had a credit. They can't begin to explain their billing, what I owe changes literally every time I hear from them, their records do not match the insurance records. Could not be worse.

Fantastic experience: This is the greatest dentist I’ve ever been to and I’m 87 years old so come here, please! Dolores is a great lady and she takes good care of you and Dr. Scott is a real good guy. He’s a very good dentist and Gabby cleans my teeth better than anybody else has ever done!

Fantastic experience: Espire Dental was highly recommended after my previous dental practice closed unexpectedly. They are a modern dental office with a super friendly and accommodating team. I was given a brief tour of the office. Kenzie, my hygienist, explained all the parts of my procedure in detail. And provided several options to the services I inquired about. Dr Tanner clearly laid out the steps I would be going thru. While David reassured me that I would be comfortable. May I also add I was able to get in quickly for two separate appointments. Huge plus over the prior dentist I had seen. I'm very happy that I chose Espire!

My dental hygienist, Gaby made me feel right at home, and walked me through each step of my cleaning to help ease my anxieties. Dr. Nick was SO knowledgable and professional! Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This Dentist Changed My Life ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I used to dread the dentist—sweaty palms, racing heart, the whole 9 yards. But Dr. Nick’s office completely cured me. The space is gorgeous and calming, with TVs on the ceilings and headphones so you can zone out in peace. My hygienist, Gaby, was incredibly gentle - I barely felt a thing! And Dr. Nick? Warm, confident, and honestly a miracle worker. He made me feel safe in a dentist chair for the first time in my life. Not to mention, he’s super cute! I walked in anxious. I walked out converted. This place is a dental revelation.

Fantastic experience: As someone with an ample medical history and an acute distaste for American healthcare in general - this was possibly the best healthcare experience I’ve ever had in the United States. They cared about the root cause and preventing things as opposed to billing the insurance as much as they can. They actually integrated holistic knowledge and encourage naturally derived medicinals. They were eager to help and get ahead of my problems. They told me things never told to me by other dentists that absolutely should have been noted to me. Lastly: they ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ME. This is exceptionally rare in healthcare and especially as a woman. I will never go to another dentist as long as possible.

Negative experience: THE STAFF are fantastic. Dr Lazeroff seems to be a pleasant person. Just wouldn’t trust him as my dentist. I asked for a refund. He denied. Paid a lot of money for substandard work. I had two crowns replaced. Both required several visits back for adjustments and continuing pain. Finally said I needed root canal. Lengthy process. Decided to see another dentist. They did an adjustment “to the crown” and not my “opposing permanent tooth” like Dr Scott Lazeroff was doing. He was grating my original tooth down, not adjusting the crown . New dentist also questioned suggested method of additional crown Dr Lazeroff wanted to do. Made me start questioning Dr Lazeroff capabilities.

Fantastic experience: I've seen both Dr. Scott and Dr. Nick and was really impressed by both. Dr. Nick did 2 fillings on me today and he was very detail oriented and ensured they were smoothed down nicely. He also took some time educating his assistant throughout the process which showed excellent care for his staff and helping them grow in their careers. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I have always had a pleasant experience at Advanced Family Dental. All of the staff are kind and down to earth, I’ve had such pleasant conversations with all of them. I’m currently doing Invisalign with their office and Dr. Lazaroff has been very helpful and knowledgeable about the process. I was experiencing issues with the trays, he called the Invisalign office to discuss possible solutions (I had no idea he would do this!) and called me back in to the office to fix the issues. After this, I really felt that Dr. Lazaroff cared about my Invisalign experience, and me as a client. I really appreciate that he and the rest of the staff put fourth effort to ensure you are comfortable and have a great experience each time you visit their office. I know that I can call them with any dental question or concern and they will do their best to make sure my mouth and teeth are taken care of in a timely manner. I recently had a cleaning with Jackie and she was so amazing, gentle and kind! She’s by far the best hygienist I’ve had.

The people are friendly, I've barely had to wait, it's an ideal situation where you can get in and out and on with your day. Dr Lazaroff is extremely knowledgeable and thorough with his examinations and I'm also blown away with the state of the art equipment they have. This place pleasantly erases my childhood memories of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am really enjoying my experience with Espire Lakewood - the staff are so friendly. I see Dr. Marsha and she's been great. I initially came in to establish myself as a new patient for general routine things, but during one of my appointments with Dr. Marsha she mentioned it may be beneficial for me to go through another bite realignment (had previously done this through a provider in my hometown) because of my front teeth hitting my bottom teeth; but she also asked if I get headaches as this may help with that as well. At the time, I was often getting migraines and/or auras and have been for years. I am not even done with my full realignment for my bite, and I can definitely say that my headaches are not nearly as common as they were before. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I got a migraine or an aura since starting this process. Overall, very satisfied with this place and so happy I decided to go through another realignment - because I'm happier with my smile but also really happy I am not having auras like I was!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Marsha has been incredible helping to fix my bite so I don’t have “grinding” tooth loss, Jacky is an incredible hygienist who is so sweet and caring and the office staff worked with me on pay—plus they have later hours some day for us non-flexible working folk! So impressed with this office

Fantastic experience: The Dentist is not my favorite place but Enspire has made it much more comfortable. The office is welcoming and they are friendly. A big shout out to my excellent Dental Hygienist Gabby who is so good at her job and kind!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointmentto get a check up because it was a while since I have one. I saw Dr Lazaroff and he was very kind and explained everything very clear. We made a plan for future treatmentand I am very happy with the service I received. Desirae helped me with the paperwork and she was very nice.

Fantastic experience: Switched from a chain dental facility over to this a few yrs ago. Could not be happier we made the choice. They are great with adults & kids! Our hygienist, Gaby H, always does a great job & very thorough!

Fantastic experience: I've finally found a place who actually takes care of their patients. I've always been afraid to go to the dentist. I've had bad experiences in the past. My dental hygienist, Gabby, puts my mind at ease. She's patient, understanding and is gentle! My teeth actually feel clean after she's done. She takes her time so I know she did a good job. Other places feel like they rush just to get someone else in the chair, but not here. Definitely recommend this place. Ask for Gabby !! You won't be disappointed. People like her make it easier to actually want to come back.

Fantastic experience: Good morning!! Just thought I’d hop online and write a quick review about my experience. I was scheduled a routine check up but it was first time visiting this location/Dental office. First of all, the girls at the counter were really nice and patient as I had to find my insurance card. Desiree offered to help me by looking to see if my information was in the computer. When I was called back the assistant was also very friendly. “Dr. Marsha” came in and explained everything so thoroughly and noticed I was a little apprehensive because I get anxiety going to the Dentist! She put me as ease and was patient. I will definitely do my routine and all other work at this facility!

Fantastic experience: Everyone there was extremely nice. The Dentist and his assistant made me feel really comfortable. My over all experience was great best I've ever had in my life a Dentist office and I'm 60 years old.

I recently got my aligners through ClearCorrect with Dr. Lazaroff. With Delores’s help it’s been so efficient and easy. Definitely recommend coming here for a better smile! :)

Fantastic experience: I usually don’t like the dentist, but I’ve only had great experiences at Espire Lakewood. Dr. Marsha and her assistant Jasmine educated me on the clear correct process and the follow-up procedures I plan to have. The cleanings are top notch. I am very confident Dr. Marsha will get my smile looking the way I want it to. Update: I recently finished my smile design Case with Dr. Marsha! I never knew my teeth could look this good! I highly recommend her and her office!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Espire Dental for my cleanings for a while now, and I can't recommend them enough. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they make sure you feel comfortable throughout your entire visit. They're also very thorough with their cleanings, and I always leave feeling like my teeth are sparkling clean. The staff are outgoing especially the one with the Spanish accent. Dr Laz is awesome, what a guy. I always remind him how important it is to hit the weights Gabby Is also Great! Her jokes are awesome. Plus, I recently got clear retainers through ClearCorrect, and the whole process was a breeze. Delores handled everything for me and helped to keep my smile looking great. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. I had to get a deep clean but Dr Marsha & Gabriella helped me feel comfortable and ok. Delores and Desi were very sweet and kind at check out. Still need some treatment but feel more ok now.
