Fantastic experience: I hadn’t seen a dentist in years and Dr Shannon Pham and her assistant Liz made it a 5 star experience. ❤️ Thank you to the whole staff for a great experience making me at ease and relaxed. ☺️

Positive experience: I like that they had a mostly female staff the last time I went. They were welcoming and friendly. They made their best effort to make me feel comfortable and relaxed as I get nervous going to dentists because my gums bleed a lot, and they had a TV screen mounted on the ceiling for viewing and one in front, however the experience itself was uncomfortable and slightly painful. I know we all have different dental problems, concerns and hygiene but I do miss the gentle touch I was used to experiencing at my dentist prior. They do stretch out your mouth quite a bit for x rays and cleanings, which can be painful at times but they are also knowledgeable and informative. They can charge a lot if you don’t have insurance, my wife was required to pay more than what insurance could cover for just her cleaning. So be mindful to ask the price and insurance coverage prior to getting any treatments done. Overall I hope they improve the next time I’m back, and along with the pricing I hope they are a bit more gentle and less rushed.

The hygienist was very accommodating and knowledgeable, the doctor was gentle and informative, she explained the diagnosis and the recommended treatment in a way that was very easy for me to understand. The gentlemen’s handling the insurance process was also very professional and accommodating. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Fantastic experience: My dad has regularly seen by Dr Shannon and every time is a good experience. She is nice, gentle, doesn’t rush when doing a procedure on you. My husband has an emergency and needs to take out his loose wisdom teeth. Britney was so nice, accommodate him with the same day appointment. Dr Pham seen my husband and she found other hidden issues that others previous dentist didn’t find. The procedure was smooth, no complication and my husband was so glad that I took him to see Dr Pham. She even do her own cleaning and not the hygienist like most of the offices do. Her assistant was helpful, over all everyone there was nice. I don’t usually write reviews but I do because we have very good experiences with the doctor.

Fantastic experience: So my husband need a tooth pulled, their gentle nonjudgmental attitude had me hopeful that maybe I’d be safe to try them out. My son became a patient and loves them. Years of terrible visits to the dentist as a child made me fearful so coming here to get multiple RC’s and crowns i was TERRIFIED. I cried at one point but a staff member came to gently hold my hand.They offered a reschedule but i knew i wouldn’t come back unless I finished. We did it! I WILL return for sure, they worked with me every step of the and seeing the X-ray results was amazing they did so good

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Emmy’s Dental off Fry & 529. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone was so kind, patient, and professional—it truly felt like they treat you like family. The gentleman at the front desk (receptionist/office manager) was phenomenal. He made the paperwork and insurance process so smooth and stress-free. Everything was explained clearly, and his level of care and professionalism really stood out. Dr. Pham was absolutely incredible. She didn’t hesitate to get us in and take care of my son right away. My son is 11, and after going to two—actually three—other dental offices where no one could come up with a solid treatment plan or even complete the work, I was starting to feel frustrated and worried. But here, everything changed. Dr. Pham not only created a clear treatment plan, but she followed through and completed the treatment with confidence and care. Most importantly, my son felt comfortable the entire time. He left happy, at ease, and no longer anxious about dental visits. I’m beyond grateful for the level of care and compassion we received. If you’re looking for a dental office that truly listens, takes action, and treats you like family, I highly recommend Emmy’s Dental!

Sal was really sweet and funny. My Hygienist was really sweet too. So was the Dr. who did my dental care. I will be going back soon and will eventually bring my daughter from here on out!

Fantastic experience: I’ve avoided going to the dentist after my dentist experience as a child. I remember everything until this day and it traumatized me. I’ve been to Emmy in the past and left with the same feeling I did as a child. Afraid. Due to being in so much pain and not having much of a choice I came back to have my root canal done over and my experience was so much different! From the staff, their care, and the treatment. I am no longer afraid. This will be my new dentist home. Thank you Dr. Ansari Afreen! Thank you Brittany! Thank you to the lady that assisted Dr Ansari Afreen. I will update once I learn her name. Negative experience: I’ve been coming here for over 6 years. At first, I really liked how clean and professional this place was. Convenient location & not too busy. However, recent years I noticed how the receptionist, especially the Hispanic guy, was super rude to answer calls, schedule appointments, and interact with in general. He was not welcoming nor friendly. I try to ignore it many times because I’ve been here for too long and thought maybe I was just too sensitive. Now, I’m not planning to come back and get my teeth done at this place anymore because the dentist didn’t do her job properly. Also, she seems overworked. I also want to add that one of the dental hygienist in the past.. I think she’s no longer working there since I haven’t seen her in a while… previously stretched my mouth too much while doing the cleaning. She was too aggressive. This made me think they should be careful on hiring the right employees.

Fantastic experience: Recovering from dental anxiety! I have been avoiding the dentist for so long because of bad experiences in the past but I gave it a try after a few years as I couldn't avoid the concern about my dental health for the future. I was recommended this location and I am SO glad I was brave enough to show up for the first appointment. I came in with a stressball and AirPods. The experience was great, Dr.Sura was so gentle and made me feel more confident each time I came back. All the staff are friendly and I go out of my way to get all my dental work done here. Negative experience: I do not recommend this dentist because I spoke to Saul and asked him the price for a regular cleaning and made my appointment, but when I arrived, he told me that price included the checkup. Then they told me that because of the diagnosis, they couldn't do the cleaning, but they didn't refund my money either. I went to them because I wanted to get a cleaning. When I complained, they angrily returned 40 dollars to me. They should have provided proper information and not lied.

Fantastic experience: Having fear & anxieties about dentistry kept me away from regular care for over a decade. Of course, problems arise from neglect & I was downright scared & embarrassed to be seen but it had gotten to the point I had to. From the very first phone call to Emmy Dental thru having my treatment & cleaning has been a very positive experience! Mr. S at the front desk was reassuring and informative & got me in the same day. He & the front desk girl were so nice. They worked with my insurance & had options for my dental anxieties. Everyone from xrays to cleaning to treatment were exceptionally kind and understanding of my fears. I felt no discomfort at any point of exam & treatment. Dr. Kim went over my xrays thoroughly with me and I understood everything in order to make good decisions on a dental treatment plan. They & Dr. Kim always asked/checked while working on me to make sure I felt no discomfort. Instead of making me feel silly/bad over my fear & neglect, they helped me every step of the way. What my insurance didn't cover, their prices were affordable & reasonable for dental care! Well worth it! I'm grateful and now have a dentist office I'll be a regular to! It has put my fear and anxieties down a few notches so I can finally have regular routine care. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Update on my review After going here for 5 years I received the worst treatment ever . My daughter came to have a procedure finalized and was told that day it would cost $1300 by the new mgr. He was extremely rude and could not find any of my daughter’s medical records. I also called insurance and everything was covered . Two weeks before this appointment I wss told everything was ready just come in for an hour procedure. Days before the appointment they called to confirm everything all to be told on the day of that they could not do it . All her paperwork was missing along with all procedures done . The front staff was cold and careless . Especially the new guy. Needless to say my family nor I will ever go there again . And I’m posting on all platforms to let everyone know that my review changed from 3 years ago . Do not expect a call back with insurance concerns or medical concerns . The whole front are is new again every time the staff is replaced the customer service gets worse and worse . My daughter left sad and we now have to find a new dentist. She wanted her teeth perfect for her senior pictures and senior year and Emmy dental let us down ! I absolutely love this place ! She has worked with my whole family for over 3 years

Saul was sooo welcoming, patient, and went above and beyond to get the information needed for her dental coverage. He seems to be a contagious joy within the office that made me feel so comfortable. I am a person who typically gets very anxious regarding the dentist, yet his energy prompted me to schedule a much needed appointment for myself. He is a beacon of light with a warm welcome. Negative experience: Very slow. They up charge for everything. Won’t do a regular cleaning bc the insurance covers it. They want to do a deep cleaning for $100 cash. I’ll never go back. I’ll just fly back home every time I need to go to the dentist. Who denies a patient a cleaning? I have great hygiene and every hygienist has told me that. But suddenly this dentist with bad body odor says differently. They remind me of used car salesmen! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
