I came to this dental office for a routine dental cleaning, which is fully covered by my insurance. After the examination, I was told that they would only perform a deep cleaning, which would cost me around $500. I explained that I only wanted the regular cleaning I had originally scheduled. They then told me there was no time left for the cleaning because the examination had taken too long. I was never informed in advance that the exam could leave no time for my scheduled cleaning. On top of that, they refused to perform the regular cleaning and insisted that the only option was the paid deep cleaning. A dental office should not pressure patients into unnecessary paid procedures or refuse to provide a covered preventive cleaning that is included in their insurance plan. In addition, they were supposed to send me a treatment plan with the recommended procedures and pricing, but they never did, even after five months. Instead, they repeatedly called me asking to schedule another appointment, despite never providing the treatment plan they had promised. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this office because of their poor communication and the pressure to pay for procedures instead of providing the covered preventive care I came for

Dental implants should represent hope, renewed confidence, and improved quality of life. Unfortunately, my experience with Mirabella Smiles left me with overwhelming regret. I had to edit down this review but I hope it helps someone avoid crushing regret. The clinic itself is clean, the staff are kind, and Dr. Faltine is young, and soft-spoken with an inspiring personal story. I never envisioned such a poor outcome. After serving 8 years in the Marines, I received VA dental coverage, but implants were not covered. Dentures were offered, but I have always had a strong aversion to them. My failing teeth were a source of embarrassment that affected my confidence, social life, and willingness to smile. Mirabella finance department ultimately secured financing, and I committed to a treatment plan that cost approximately $55,000. I even paid extra for zirconia teeth because I believed I was investing in a permanent solution. Soon after my teeth were extracted and implants placed, problems began. Components loosened, metal pieces fell out, arches broke, and implants shifted out of alignment. Pain, plenty of it. Multiple return visits were required. After waking from a procedure I was informed that I would need to wear a denture a while. My feelings about dentures had been made clear from the beginning. it caused significant discomfort, gagging, and pressure on the implant sites. I could feel movement in the implants and worried about damaging them. After making final cash in office payment I brought to the appointment, I was told that I lacked sufficient bone tissue and referred (essentially pushed off) to a specialist who would require additional treatment at significant expense. Today, I am left with failed implants, an incomplete lower restoration, temporary teeth of poor quality, and years of loan payments ahead of me. The zirconia teeth I paid extra for never became a reality.I have no clue what happened to them but I dont have them. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. The doctor blamed many thngs including my blood pressure (I almost laughed at this excuse) and alleged bruxism, despite having no history of teeth grinding and grinding implants sounds like torture. He never blamed himself. At no point did I feel that the slightest responsibility was acknowledged or that meaningful solutions were offered. Just told that I would be wearing dentures (unless I paid someone else and started over.) I would have literally been better off flushing 50k down the toilet. At least then I could eat normal food or not worry the humiliation ofabout launching out in public. I invested tens of thousands of dollars to avoid exactly the situation I now face: dentures, ongoing dental problems, and diminished confidence. I would like to imagine I am the only unhappy customer, and others will be free from similar regret, but I strongly encourage you to thoroughly research all available providers before making a decision. There are many other options available. My experience with Mirabella Smiles was financially devastating, emotionally draining, and far from the outcome I sacrificed for or expected.

Fantastic experience: If i could give more than just 5 stars i would do it. From the beginning to the end of the appointment the all experience was amazing, the hospitality as soon you open the door and enter is so good. Definitely will do all my cleanings and improvements with them . Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Dr.Winston Faltine recently saw me as an emergency referral patient, since my team was 500 miles away during Spring Break. I have a unique set of dental challenges, and he never hesitated, and saw me immediately. Dr. Faltine took a huge amount of time from his busily scheduled day; to learn my dental history, and not only offer important information, observations suggestions, and analysis for resolution. He and his staff arranged for a surgical specialist for my issue-same day! Dr.Faltine sent in the antibiotic prescription I desperately needed in order to save me from have a much larger problem when I couldn’t reach my surgeon in a far away city. I was shocked at the extreme kindness, care, and compassion Dr.Faltine and his entire team took with me in the midst of my dental crisis. They truly care about each ,and every person who walk through their doors. They provided incredible support and encouragement to me ,when I was in dire need- and gave me back my faith in dental pros, but more importantly, my smile! I was blown away by the sincerity, concern, and assistance he and his team provided to me- a complete stranger off the street. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a top notch dental team to schedule an appointment with Dr.Faltine at MiraBella Smiles in Cypress right away. Our smile is our individual human logo. He and his team will listen to all of your concerns, and work with you to achieve your goals. He and his team are incredible people- you will never regret giving them an opportunity to help you have both great dental health, but a dazzling smile! I cannot thank them enough! I’ve worked with a multitude of dental professionals in many speciality areas over my lifetime, but none of them ever took the time to see me, listen to my dental issues ,and also heal my fears, and my heart like MiraBella Smiles. Negative experience: My baby girl was so excited for her first dental check up. Her cousin used to be in a different dental office so he was telling her about how they brush his teeth and how he was always given flouride. I kind of expected that and my girl was so calm and all but they just checked her and did nothing to please her atleast. I still asked for flouride and they did it at the frontdesk. I was pleased with how friendly the girls were when we were there. You are awesome but the clinic is not just meant for us lately. Still grateful the ladies at the front made my girl smile.

Fantastic experience: Beyond pleased with the staff and service at MiraBella Smiles. I went in for what I thought would be a routine cleaning, and it had been over a year since my last dental appointment. Being disabled and wheelchair-bound it is difficult to coordinate my appointment while asking my wife to take the same day off work to take me. At first, I was told I needed a deeper clean than normal and that nothing could be done this time, I would need to schedule 2 or perhaps even 3 more appointments in the future. This got me very upset and frustrated, for obvious reasons as to the difficulty of me being able to get there. Dr. Faltine came and spoke to me, and I must say, as far as empathy goes, he takes the gold medal. He talked to me like a human being, broke down his concerns as a medical professional, while also taking my frustrations to heart, and offered me a couple solutions. It was the first time in my decades of visiting dentists that one had spent that much time with me, and speaking to me kindly and with compassion. Jesus who did the cleaning was very informative and knowledgeable, and I left with new information about my oral health, thank you Jesus! Ashley is an absolute rockstar, from coordinating the entire appointment start to finish, she never left our side, from taking my X-rays, talking through insurance benefits for treatment with my wife and me, explaining everything in detail, and answering every question I had. You are indispensable to this practice Ashley and I hope all your patients appreciate you as much as I do! I'm glad I found this place through my insurance website and chose to go with it--thank you MiraBella for being able to turn my initial frown upside down and me leaving an extremely satisfied patient. If anyone reading this needs a new dental practice with compassion and heart, MiraBella Smiles is your place to go. Period.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. Honestly, I can't say enough about them. My visit was wonderful and comfortable, and how often can you say you walk away from a dentist appointment smiling? I was given a mini-tour and introduced to the various staff. Everything during my appointment was explained to me to ensure I wasn't ever anxious. I didn't feel judged for any poor dental health, and was even given insight into why my teeth are in the shape they're in, as well as some simple recommendations for improving them. I have always had "bad teeth" and they worked with me to get a plan in place to take care of my problems while also considering my financial situation. Truly lovely people.

I was really impressed with how welcoming they were and felt that every staff member who was a part of the process of my cleaning and then the treatment I received took the time to listen and answer any questions I had. I am a newer patient here but came in with a very strong tooth ache. It was keeping me up at night and causing a lot of pain. After diagnosing the problem, they got me in the very next morning for the procedure and my pain is gone and I’m feeling so much better.

Fantastic experience: A review for Mira Bella has been long overdue. I first went in 3 years ago and was depressed about my situation and the cost related to fixing my teeth. 3 years afterwards, I went back and my situation was so much worse that the best option was removal of all my teeth and implants arches top and bottom. I’m 5 months into my recovery and I’m so happy. My top arch was high risk due to bone loss and sinus wall being almost too close to bone for implants. I almost had no room for implants. But Dr. Faltine was confident he could get a great results but that it was dependent on me letting things heal as they should and following all of his instructions perfectly. I have done exactly as instructed and today I’m almost ready for my permanent arches to be placed in. Everyone there has been so accommodating and nice beyond words. I’m grateful to everyone involved and super grateful for God that helped Dr. Faltine and guided his hands during surgery. In fact, when Dr. Faltine told me that he prayed before every surgery I was immediately at peace and knew that he was the one that could do it and do it right. The Mira Bella team, along with Cole, helped out with finding financing for this procedure which was the only way I was able to afford it as it’s an expensive procedure for sure. But totally worth the expense considering I didn’t have too many other option left and I am too young for removable dentures. So the moral of the story is take care of the teeth you have and especially you young folks reading this. Let it be a caution to take care of your oral hygiene properly. If you are like me and next this type of alternative then do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Mira Bella. Thanks for reading and God bless you all!

Negative experience: Yeah, so this place is an absolute scam, I was going there for over 4 years and constantly had fillings and work done (mistake). I had one visit where I was told everything looked great, fast forward 6 months and I had 10 cavities that needed to be filled costing around $1200. You know something is up when they start offering you "their" dental insurance. I sought a second opinion with a cleaning and x-rays, guess what, all 10 cavities disappeared magically..... Yeah, and the x-rays were explained and shown to me by my new dentist, I wanted to puke.

Fantastic experience: Had my first visit after my husband highly recommended this location and I’m so glad I changed my dental office. From the time I called to schedule an appointment, the staff has been so nice, understanding, and professional. This is the first location I’ve been to where the ladies at the reception desk shook my hand and introduced themselves. The staff made me feel welcomed and they explained everything to me which was great for someone like me that has a lot of anxiety with dentists. Highly recommend this dental office!

Negative experience: Be aware the charge unnecessary procedures , even procedures that were not performed at all . My daughter had lost her baby tooth at night she saw the doctor the next day , for an X-ray and cleaning , they charge me for an extraction that was never done and also for a visite . The X-ray and the cleaning were never done . They are snicky , they are scammers they are thief’s and liars . Ashley will be all welcoming until you’ll have a problem or a concern or a question with the billing or start asking questions . Please read the other reviews they scammed other people . Save yourself unnecessary bills go to other dentiste . We went to my previous dentiste who is a little far from home compared to theses snakes , and we had a wonderful experience an amazing service everything was explained to us prior and I all was covered with my insurance, compared to these thief’s where I did a cleaning once and had to pay in addition . To what covered the insurance a looooot of money , now that I am aware and see all that was charged I am outraged . I will make sure that every single neighbor will know about their fraudulent practices . And every business will know . I am making this a personal affaire .

Fantastic experience: I have some major trust issues with dentists. That being said, I ONLY trust this place for any kind of dental work. I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Faltine and his team always do an excellent job explaining the details of each procedure, and the execution is always perfectly coordinated. These people have talent and it shows. They’re also great at answering the phone and handling all of the questions I’ve had. Negative experience: Never, Never, Never trust this office, shady practices!!!! David, the office manager, NOT THE DENTIST, told me I had an overbite and I should look into Invisalign because it would help me from grinding my teeth. Because David wore them, I thought that would be a good recommendation. I had a 3 minute appt. with Dr. Faltine and David supposedly going over all aspects of the Invisalign………HOWEVER, they NEVER mentioned any side effects. After I paid, I was given a booklet of 15 -20 different side effects that may occur with these Invisalign mouth guards! . These included I might need further dental treatment due to my teeth shifting, like new crowns or replace filling when the teeth shift. After I learned about the side effects, being 72 years old, I realized this was an unnecessary procedure, since this was the first time anyone mentioned an overbite, which could be Remedied with a drug store mouthguard! After paying, and THEN given a list of side effects, I changed my mind, and they refused to give me back $5400. I appealed to my credit card, but because when I paid when I signed my receipt there was a clause that said I was told about the side effects! NOT TRUE……even though I was tricked into signing that recipe, the credit card company would Not force Mirabella Smiles to return my money! Beware! I wrote Dr. Faltine a personal email and a personal letter, requesting my money be returned. I heard nothing from him or the office EVER! I am out of $5,400…..Fraud…. What would you call it?

They are patient, they lay out a plan you can understand in great details . The dental hygienist is top notch and I highly recommend MiraBella smiles to anyone. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a few dentists and tried this office recently and my oh my I must say Nia is AMAZING! For me, her expertise is unmatched. Her gentle and caring approach made me feel so comfortable and at ease about my visit! The level of top notch dental care, knowledge, and cleanliness she provides, you cannot find anywhere! She is a jewel and such a pleasant warm personality. I hope her presence is being appreciated everyday and in every visit.. man. I have experienced dealing with rough and inexperienced assistants whom I would very much assume lacks true knowledge of the trade and Nia is not one of them, she pays attention with great detail and I cannot be more grateful for her!!! Fantastic experience: An Actual Honest Review, I've seen the reviews, and I'm Happy most are positive. I've been going for years here and can only assume either the "bad review" People went in with the intent to have a bad experience, had a bad attitude, or something truly "One-off" happened. All of my experiences have been nothing but great, Doctor Faltine is one of the most knowledgeable dentist in the United states. Doing some research on him I found that he has many accolades that someone his age wouldn't have, and seems to be one of the "top need to see dentist" out there. You can tell he cares about every patient he see's... (and I've seen military dentist with the VA if that says anything to some of you. Its why I found Doctor Faltine) Summer, The Hygienist, is kind and always worried about my pain if I am in any during my cleanings... Fortunately, I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't have much mouth pain during treatment, but she was worried and you can tell she cares about her Patients as well. As for the Staff, Nia, is a wonderful Dental Assistant who works along side Doctor Faltine, You can see him and her work a tight ship and get the job done. Talking with her, she has been in the business' for over a decade or two, and her experience shows it. Doc is lucky to have her. I also talked with Carla, who works at the front desk. She has Dental Assistant experience, so the whole "front desk girl" doesn't fit her well because her knowledge and work ethic show a skilled individual. Seeing her interact with patients while I waited... you can see... like everyone else, she cares for everyone who walks through the doors. Then there is Ashley, Who, If you look through most of the comments and reviews is one of the main reason many people like to come to Mirabella Smiles. She Cares for every patient that walks through the doors. Talking with her, she's been there for 6 years, has Dental Assistant experience and She seems to be the driving force in the building with keeping things moving, everything seems to pass through her hands. I'd assume she's the Office Manager. Though the many times I've been there David was the manager until recently. David, to my knowledge during my last cleaning, No longer works with Mirabella smiles, but my Experience with him was great as well, as a fellow veteran him and me laughed about a few things and you can tell as the manager he really cared for the practice, the staff, and Doctor Faltine. I see some of the reviews talking about Prices, Unfortunately anyone with a brain would know that just like all other medical fields.... prices are set to either what the insurance companies will pay or what the current state of the economy is at... I can only imaging what the ADA, CDC, or any other medical acronym dictates on a practices pricing. Just know, If you want a place where your cared for, Not pressured into anything, Shown what you actually need to get fixed and a staff that actually wants to see you and your mouth health be at the best it can be.... come here, Speak with Ashley or Carla... they both will solidify what I experienced and what you will as well.

Negative experience: I will never go back to this dentist office. Had a guy name David that changed my dental plan and overcharged me without me knowing. Took out the most important part of the plan and I only received minimum treatment for maximum dollars. He no longer works there which was probably the best thing could have happened for that office. Nonetheless the torch was passed to Ashley and she picked up where he left out. Trying to get me to do some extra work and charge me for it when it should have been in the plan. Not only that tried to charge me for routine maintenance that was in the plan on my last visit. I thought this was an honest friendly office only to find out they try to scam you in to spending more money and do minimal work. The only good thing about this experience is Summer and Nia. These 2 ladies are the best in caring for patients. They took really good care of me and I really appreciate them. If they were at other dentist offices I would definitely be going. Other than that I don’t recommend this dentist office AT ALL!!

Fantastic experience: Going to MireBella was the best thing ever! I have had anxiety for years about the state of my teeth. When I walked in I was greeted with nothing but smiles. Everyone on staff was nice and made me feel welcome. Ashley was my favorite! She walked me through every step making sure I understood what was happening and I was comfortable with it. Dr Faltine has great communication and is very knowledgeable without being over baring. It if wasn’t for this experience I think it would have years until I stepped foot in a dentist office every again. Thank you MiraBella team!

Fantastic experience: I have never been one to like going to the dentist. But Dr. Faltine and her staff absolutely changed my attitude about going to the dentist as a whole. He is very informative and helped me understand everything that was going on with my teeth and exactly how it should be dealt with. Then Ashley , Carla and Alexander are just the icing on the cake. They were very friendly and very efficient at everything they did. I’d give 6 stars if I could. If you have teeth you need to go see Mirabella Smiles.

Fantastic experience: Loved the whole experience from start to finish. I highly recommend getting any dental needs take care with MiraBella Smiles. They made me feel like family with their care. Refreshing to see helpful and caring front desk reception. I felt comfort and relief through my whole experience. I had some anxiety wondering about my treatment but both the dentist and staff made me feel at ease. Dentist is amazing and super knowledgable, Ashely and Alexander were super friendly. I am so glad to have come here, I give them a 10/10 recommendation.

Negative experience: I have had a great experience overall with Dr. Faltine. I have had an awful experience with the front desk staff. If I could rate the level of communication 0 out of 5 stars, I would. Back in late March, I put a $200 deposit down. I decided to go to a different dentist based upon insurance needs. I was told by Ashley and Carla that I would receive a refund of this deposit. I have called over 4 times, left voicemails and emailed MiraBella Smiles since March. Every time, I have been told they have either sent an email or will reach out soon. They have yet to reach out. Extremely unethical. I do not recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: Since I was young, I’ve always had a fear of going to the dentist and couldn’t really identify the source, or why. Dr. Faltine and his staff were very kind and patient with me, and made me feel very comfortable. I never felt like they were judging me, or irritated by my anxiety - which I have indeed experienced at other dentist offices. Dr. Faltine and his assistant, Nia frequently ensured I was comfortable during my wisdom teeth removal. My anxiety around this particular procedure was insane, more than I’d ever experienced before; I was in knots. I’m so glad that my Google search for a dentist in cypress led me to Mirabella. Since my very first visit some months ago, I’ve had many more, presently being close to the end of my “smile makeover” as Dr likes to call it, and I’ve brought my teenage son on as a patient as well. I am a perfectionist myself, and I’ve noticed the same of Dr. Faltine when it comes to how he works and runs his business. I definitely appreciate that he takes the extra time to ensure every little detail is just right. The employees seem to be happy about where they work, and I see the same faces every time I’m there. The vibe is just different at Mirabella. I won’t let anyone else put their fingers in my mouth.

Fantastic experience: I broke a molar a few days ago and Ashley was able to squeeze me into an appointment yesterday. After guiding me through the insurance process, Dr Faltine and Nia fitted me with a temporary crown. They made sure I was comfortable during the procedure and they were patient with my questions. Came here because my normal dentist was booked for 3 month due to covid restriction but I'm glad I came here and will never go anywhere else the staff is super friendly and will help explain all your benefits. The cleaning here is as pleasant as a cleaning can be since most hate the dentist always a comfortable experience. The waiting room, exam room, and rest rooms are all very clean. Dr. Faltine takes his craft seriously and he's very informative.
