Negative experience: I went into this establishment 30 minutes before appointment then I proceeded to wait an hour in the waiting room and then one hour in the chair then they proceeded to say I need a deep cleaning instead of a regular one and the price without insurance was over $3000 dollars for the procedure since I had insurance the price was $950 after I says I’m not paying that that I was here for a free yearly cleaning then they gave me a discount and the new price was around $755 with my insurance. I rejected everything they said and when I asked for a regular cleaning all they did was polish my teeth they disrespected me and my time do not go to this establishment if you want professional dental help.

Fantastic experience: I want to review my this dentist because today they completed a procedure I have been trying for years to get done. I truly expect this to improve my actual health since I’ve had an issue with a root canal for over a decade. I will update when healed but the fact that PriyankaShah- Modi DDS, MPA, BDS actually listed to my concerns has made me a forever patient. I had faulty root canal removed and titanium implant installed by Earnest Erian, DDS- Periodontist. Photo is of a new night guard to protect my teeth from TMJ grinding. This is the third I’ve purchased and the only one that actually fit right without adjustment. They have top of the line technology which h clearly make all the difference combined with professionals that care. I’d give bonus stars if I could.

Negative experience: I confirmed my appointment. THEY confirmed my appointment - several texts. After driving an hour on my only day off, I was told the dentist wasn't in. WILL NEVER return.

Fantastic experience: Dr amir Dr shah and Miss Karen checkin are wonderful people especially Miss Karen because she took the time to explain how everything works in how to go about it she went beyond and above the call of her job, Plus she's a fun person in easy to talk to. If it's anything this woman needs to be recognized for her professionalism and how sweet she is in our knowledge offer craft and skill set. The doctors are wonderful and they making this a fun experience where I usually am nervous in the process but not so because of a professionalism. The lady Miss Karen should be recognized

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with my experience at Cypress Dentistry and Orthodontics. In October 2025, I had two wisdom teeth removed at this office. Recently, I returned to have my remaining two wisdom teeth extracted and was shocked to receive a new treatment estimate that was nearly three times higher than the estimate for the same procedure performed previously. I have both treatment plans in hand, and while the procedure is essentially the same, the new estimate includes several additional services that are not justified and i asked to remove them. I have been waiting for over two months to get clarification regarding these differences and i finally called them back today and I did not received a satisfactory response. Now they asked to schedule an appointment and as I can't this Friday they offered July 31st. It is insane that I need to wait another month to receive an answer. Additionally, the office has repeatedly refused to perform my annual cleaning unless I first agree to thousands of dollars in additional treatments. As a patient, I expect transparency, clear communication, and access to routine preventive care without feeling pressured into accepting costly procedures. The lack of responsiveness, inconsistent treatment estimates, and poor communication have been extremely frustrating. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the way patients are treated and informed. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.

Negative experience: 1st Appointment at the location. I did wait for a very long time between the the checks and cleaning (I was there for 2.5hrs for a fairly basic scope of work). Had xrays, periodontal checks, and a cleaning. The dentist, attempted to sell me on a Crown for a molar & a potential root canal. I was pushed to make a call on getting it done asap and was offered a 10% discount - i did not proceed. Cleaning felt really rushed ~20minutes inclusive of the laser cleaning upgrade I was sold on. Because I felt something was up with being pushed on a crown, I went to a dentist that I am familiar with for a second opinion, who performed another x-ray on the subject molar and determined that it was simply a previous filling that had lost its bond. Within an hour the filling was ground out, verified w/ a dye check and re-filled. The general feedback from my trusted dentist was that there is an experience gap or they were attempting to upsell what I actually needed - they didn't have concerns with the cleaning steps and its pricing.

Fantastic experience: Root canals are really expensive so avoid at all cost, but Dr. Patel is really sweet and made sure I was comfortable for the entire procedure. She was quick too! Would recommend coming here if you need anything done.

Fantastic experience: From the time I called for a “new patient” appt (Karen) to the time I walked out after my first appointment, the service was exceptional. I was personally greeted by Dr. Vaseghi who checked in on me throughout my visit. A team of specialists: DA Alex, Alexis, Hygienist Veronica, Gigi and Karen (finance), all made me feel comfortable, explained every procedure and repeatedly asked if I was ok, did I need anything or had any questions. Alex & Veronica did my initial work up (cleaning) > BEST experience I’ve ever had…..no pain (nothing). Usually they are digging for gold. Don’t take my word, go there > you’ll agree with me. Glad to be a patient.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Truong, Veronica (hygienist), Karen, Gigi and the young man who performed my X-rays (I’ll learn his name). I urgently needed to see a dentist because I feared a major infection under my bridge. They were able to fit me in, help with a small snag with my insurance and made me feel very comfortable from the X-rays, consultation on the work I need done and the deep cleaning. I was truly apprehensive about starting with a new dentist, but now feel very confident about my journey to better health.

Negative experience: Dr Erian, the periodontist, is nice, but the office staff leave a lot to be desired. They make you pay the total cost up front, rather than determining what insurance will pay and charging the difference. Then they take their time filing insurance claims, and blow you off when you follow up or check status. I very much regret doing business with them.

Fantastic experience: We started coming to Dr. Robinson about two years ago for Ortho services for my son!! It's been thee best experience. You can tell she has put alot of time and dedication towards perfecting her process and technique. It's a bonus that she's nuturing and a really sweet person. Karen and Alexis at the front desk were very patient and helped me with my issue and made sure I was still seen today. I do not like the dentist but Alex was my dental assistant and he was very personable, grabbed a blanket for me, and did a great job of explaining the process for today. Dr. Troung was my dentist and he answered all of my many questions and made the cleaning experience comfortable for me. I will definitely come here always for my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Customer service is great. Dentist, dental and office staff are professional and very attentive. I have had all great experiences so far. I love my hygienist, she is awesome! She takes the time to explain what she is doing and how to follow her treatment plan if you need one.Alex and Karen were fantastic as well. Alex was a fantastic dental assistant. Negative experience: I have never had a more unprofessional, disrespectful, and dishonest dental visit in my life. This was my first visit, just going in for a routine yearly cleaning. Everyone was friendly and engaging up until they sent the patient coordinator in to discuss my bill before they even did my cleaning. She proceeded to tell me that after insurance my cleaning THEY RECOMMENDED would cost me $888 out of pocket. When I questioned the price and why it wasn’t covered under my insurance. She said it was because this was the level of cleaning the doctor had recommended. When the doctor was in the room, he told me overall my gums were healthy but 1 or 2 spots were early signs of periodontal issues I needed to watch. I told them that I refused the SPECIALIZED cleaning they recommended. So then I had to sign a refusal of treatment waiver. Then the dental assistant told me I was finished for the day, after no cleaning. Then, I asked about the regular yearly cleaning. She proceeded to get the polishing tool out and polished my teeth, then said I was done. When I again asked about the actual routine cleaning, she said she would have to talk to the doctor since I had “refused”. When I told her my mother is a dental hygienist, and I knew what a cleaning consistent of, covered under insurance, the doctor came in to “clean” my teeth using a water pick but not using any instruments on my teeth to remove buildup. Also during this procedure no one spoke to me and they allowed me to drool all over myself and splashed water all over me. After that they sent me on my way. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful when they couldn’t upsell me. Didn’t even provide basic standard of care. I will be reporting them to the board of dentistry.

Negative experience: This was my first time at this office and I will not be returning. I had made an appointment for a regular cleaning. I came in 15 minutes early to get checked in and to sign all the paperwork. I walked in and the two women behind the desk did not greet me but instead just stared at me. One walked away and the other was shoving McDonald’s in her mouth. She finished chewing after a prolonged time and then finally asked how she could help me. I felt as though as I was interrupting her breakfast time…. I didn’t feel very welcomed at this office. I decided to go back on the payment plan I was going to do. I believe first impressions are everything. And this office didn’t cut it for me….

Negative experience: An elderly family member began dental treatment here and later experienced an unexpected interruption of care. This resulted in a prolonged period without functional teeth, which was very difficult for her health and quality of life. I hope the clinic improves communication and continuity of care, especially for elderly patients. The office has responded publicly and requested we contact them. We have already attempted to resolve this matter directly. The review remains accurate and reflects our experience..

Fantastic experience: I think this is my second review about this wonderful dentist office. Samantha is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. Not only is her work gentle, but she is effective and very informative. Her kindness and patience are greatly appreciated. The staff in the front are welcoming and warm. The wonderful lady who helped me with the insurance and financing part deserves major kudos! Anyone who can work with the intricacies of insurance and present them in understandable ways to people who don't is amazing. Of course Dr. Shaw a dream and really helps you understand what's going on, the pros and the cons, and everything in between. Despite having many patients in one day, she is not rushed. Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: This place is awful, very shady business practices. They will fraudulently charge you. The dentist, Dr. Price was very rude and unprofessional. There are too many dental offices in the area to go to this one, which is THE WORST!!

Negative experience: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my account and the lack of communication from your office. • Before my appointment, I confirmed that your office accepts Medicare. I was assured that all procedures would be covered. • At no point was I informed of any additional costs or provided a pre-estimate for my insurance to verify coverage. • After my procedures were completed, I was unexpectedly told I have a balance of $1,774, without prior notice or explanation. My initial out of pocket was $4,557.83 as told to me from the office manager who went over all my procedures. • I have requested receipts and signed financial agreements, but I have not received any documentation. • Despite leaving multiple messages and involving my insurance representative, I have not been able to speak with the manager, nor have my calls been returned. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. If you go to this dental office, make sure to request a pre-estimate form and verify with your insurance company. Don't trust the manager to verify your insurance. This office is not even worthy of any stars. Bad business ethics.

Positive experience: I have been going to Cypress Dentistry and Orthodontics for about 6 or 7 years. Back in 2018 or 2019 when I first went there, I did not think the dental team and especially the front desk employees did a great job. However, in the past 2-3 years they improved. I am giving 3 stars because I think they are trending toward a higher quality of care and service, but there is still some room for improvement. There are 3 things I want to mention. First, I had Invisalign done here and the orthodontist that started my treatment did not do a good job. I would come in every few months to do a follow-up and see how my teeth were shifting, she would take a look at my teeth for less than 5 minutes and said its looking good. One time, she told me to smile and then she said OK youre good to go. In my mind, I dont think she looked at my teeth well by taking a glance at it for 3 seconds. I was in and out of the office in like 10 minutes for these ortho follow-ups. However, roughly 2 years ago, Ryanna replaced the orthodontist that started my invisalign treatment. I could immediately tell she cared about her patients, did a thorough job in looking at my teeth at follow-ups, and would educate her patients on anything they needed to do at home to keep our teeth healthy. I really think she is a great addition to the team and is a huge reason why Cypress Dentistry and Orthodontics is trending toward great quality care and service. When I finished my active treatment of invisalign and switched to retainers, I never received instructions or that sheet of paper on how to care for retainers. So because of that, I was cleaning my retainers daily in piping HOT water and I did not know that that warps and weakens the retainers. So less than 2 months after I got my retainers, they cracked as I was taking them off one morning. I had to go back to the dentist to get new retainers. But this time, Ryanna gave me the sheet with instructions on how to care for retainers. I think the reason why I never received instructions the time I got my first retainers is because the lady who was doing my impressions for the retainers was fairly new there. I think her name was Kate or Katie (it started with a K and Ryanna brought her onto the team). It was also an extremely busy day for them when I got my retainers so Kate probably forgot to give me instructions.. So I will let that slide. I was able to get my second set of retainers at no cost to me so that is a huge plus and I am really grateful for that. I am writing this review now because I grind my teeth, but also had invisalign done so I am reflecting on why wasnt I told what to do with retainers that can't act as a night guard? This is another thing that the staff overlooked. Second, the front desk staff did a really terrible job back in 2018 or 2019, but has improved somewhat today. I remember I would call and send messages of questions to front desk staff and they told me I will call you back or put me on hold for 20+ minutes. They never did call back and they did that to me multiple times. If you say you're going to call back, please actually mean it instead of never calling back multiple times. That destroys patient trust and makes you look bad on your part. Today, the front desk staff has completely new employees and they sometimes do the same of not calling back after saying they would, but at other times they would actually did call me back. Lastly, I think the other staff here is doing a great job. Both hygienists there are great. They provided guidance to me on where to brush my teeth when I had periodontitis and did a good job cleaning my teeth. I had maybe 2 brief interactions with Priyanka so I cant say much about her but she seemed to me she is doing a good job. Overall, my advice to the staff is to please call back if you say you're going to call back, always educate your patients as much as you can, and keep giving compassionate care because that's what keeps patients coming back.

Negative experience: I honestly don’t know why I decided to come here, even after reading so many negative reviews on both Yelp and Google. I made an appointment for my yearly teeth cleaning (which is fully covered under my insurance). Instead of simply providing the cleaning, they took the usual X-rays and photos, then billed my insurance $1500 — but never actually did the cleaning I came in for. After that, they told me I needed a deep cleaning and said it would cost another $1500 out of pocket. So basically, they charged my insurance a huge amount and then tried to push me into paying thousands more for a procedure I didn’t even come for, while refusing to provide the standard cleaning that was covered. They even suggested I should sign up for a payment plan for it, what kind of scam is this, they should first work on what the patient came for. And then they can throw all the sales pitch. This is an extremely unethical way to run a dental clinic. They are clearly taking advantage of patients and insurance companies. I would strongly warn anyone against going here. Absolutely not recommended

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Dr. Shah and Cypress Dentistry! She was so kind and very good with the explanation of my problem. Everyone in the office was so pleasant. I will definitely be back for further visits!

Negative experience: I would not go to this dental office. I came in as a new patient. During the new patient evaluation, they said I had periodontal disease, and in their recommended procedures listed laser, in addition to periodontal cleaning, etc. I asked if I could research the laser first and not do it at that point. They said that they would not clean my teeth if I don't do the laser, which I recall was a couple of hundred dollars. So I walked out. And I was glad I did. Because I went to a highly respected dental office in the area and I did not have periodontal disease. If you were diagnosed with periodontal disease, you would have to do quarterly cleanings (every 3 months), and it would be deep cleanings (which are much more expensive and some insurance only covers a certain amount, so you could be paying maybe $300 for all 4 quadrants). Be careful of them.

Negative experience: dentistry they are unaccountable and untrustworthy. I went for routine cleaning and after spending over 2 hours in the office conducting full mouth rays and bite wings x rays. dr shah told me that i needed deep cleaning. She had her finance staff run me the cost for the treatment which was thousands of dollars. I still waited for the hygienist to perform my routine cleaning but she told me I will not get one cz I need a deep cleaning. The pocket measurements she showed me shows higher #s in 2022 but better #s today which was the total opposite of her diagnosis. I have never seen a dentist deny a patient his right for routine cleaning. I had a 2nd opinion and i wad told I do not need a deep cleaning. I would never recommend Cypress dentistry.

I have been a patient here at Cypress dentistry for a few years now and I have never felt more comfortable/confident with going to the dentist than I do now. I was once terrified of stepping into a dentist’s office but once you understand the importance of oral health, you’ll never be the same. Dr shah has done an excellent job explaining the importance of my personal treatment plan and making me feel comfortable during the process. All it takes is one trip to get the ball rolling and you’ll find yourself comfortable with the idea of going back. From check in to check out a big Thank YOU team for being so kind and caring.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient here so I was a bit nervous walking in, but instantly the staff were so welcoming and helped me feel comfortable. Dr.Shah and DA Shauntel made my appointment here easy, funny, and enjoyable. They really got to get to know me and ease the nerves and it felt like I was talking to friends instead of doctors. Dr.Shah and Karen talked me through everything in detail until I understood even when things seemed overwhelming. Negative experience: My daughter received several text messages confirming her dental appointment. She e-checked in online. She drove an hour, at 9 AM, on her only day off, only to be told that the dentist wasn't in today. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. She will NOT be returning.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shah explained the treatment plan in detail and why each step was necessary and the pros and cons associated with each route. It helped make a great treatment plan. During my X-ray process Jae was kind and helped make it quick and easy. Kaylyn broke down what my insurance will cover and made it easy to understand what I was paying for.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a new Dentist go no further. Dr Shah and her team were so nice and patient with me. I had lots of questions and they answered every single one! They do this saliva test at this office and it can tell you alot about what's going on in your mouth and body. Due to my results I'm now working with my Doctor to figure out what's going on with my health. Due to this test my Doctor is now running different test to get a diagnosis and it's because of this saliva test that my Doctor now knows what to test!! Go see Dr Shah and her team not just for your oral health but also for your whole body......I know this may not make sense but truly go see Dr Shah and she will explain everything.

Fantastic experience: So happy with the decision in choosing Cypress Dentistry and Orthodontics for my family! With new insurance, it was time to choose a new provider and that was nerve wrecking. But from the moment I called to make my teens first appointment, the front desk was so friendly, patient, and well spoken. They didn’t have me waiting on hold like other places and we scheduled for a few days later. Our appointments were back to back, everything went smoothly, Dr. Serein was great, she explained things well to the kids and myself. We had Ernest and Veronica, the hygienists, and they were so nice and professional. The office was clean and welcoming, I even made a comment on the music playing lol they had a good playlist going on, nice to hear early morning. Good feeling about this place and looking forward to working more with them in the future. We have now set an appointment to have an orthodontist consult or braces later this month.
