Fantastic experience: I had a great appointment. Dr. Sarah Olim saved my tooth. :) and gave me good recommendations moving forward. Jane is a great hygienist as are others. The Olim’s are good people and I have known them since childhood.

From our very first meeting, he made me feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for during one of the most difficult times of my life. His compassion, kindness, and confidence gave me hope when I needed it most. He never made me feel like just another patient—he took the time to listen, answer every question, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. His entire team is equally incredible. Everyone is warm, caring, professional, and truly dedicated to making each patient feel comfortable and valued. I will always be thankful to Dr. Olim and his amazing staff for their exceptional care. They made a life-changing experience so much easier, and I couldn't recommend them more highly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recently moved to H-Town, Nicole & Jessica were extremely helpful! on day of appointment office was peaceful, Which for me is very important as Dentists office have been my least favorite. The staff was so welcoming, my Hygienist Ruby is the best!! She let me know each step what was going on!! Then Dr. Sarah was icing on the cake!! The whole experience was wonderful! Negative experience: I am 38 years old and have been a patient at Olim & Associates since I was 14. My parents received dental care there, my sister and I both had orthodontic and dental treatment, and now all five of my children are patients there as well (four of them receiving orthodontic care). This has been a 24-year relationship with the practice, which makes writing this especially disappointing. Over the past several years, the level of customer service has steadily declined. Policies have become increasingly rigid and inflexible. For example, patients are no longer allowed to keep an HSA card on file due to issues with other customers. We were also told that once one dentist begins treatment, you are no longer allowed to see another provider within the practice — even if you would prefer to. Scheduling flexibility has significantly decreased as well. When I expressed concern about these changes to one of the dentist/owners, I was told that because some patients have not paid their bills or have taken advantage of the practice, they had to change how they handle everyone. While I understand businesses must protect themselves, applying strict policies to long-standing, loyal families without any consideration or flexibility feels unfair and ultimately harms patient relationships. Most recently, I prepaid multiple months on my daughter’s orthodontic account. Despite that, I received a call that a scheduled monthly payment did not go through. When I questioned why a payment was being processed after paying ahead, I was told that because the contract states monthly payments, they would continue running charges regardless of prepaid balances. Upon further review of the contract, that was inaccurate. Furthermore, the only remaining balance (pending insurance) was $50.70, which I paid promptly — despite already having paid months in advance. The lack of flexibility, communication, and basic customer consideration has been very discouraging. The only reason we have remained with this practice is because of Jane, the dental hygienist. She is exceptional — caring, skilled, and wonderful with my children. She is truly the bright spot in the office. That said, once my fourth child completes her orthodontic treatment, we will not be returning. The office is out of network with all insurance providers and consistently costs more than other practices in the area. We continued paying the additional out-of-pocket expenses because of our long history and loyalty — but the experience no longer reflects the level of care and service it once did. I sincerely hope the practice reflects on the direction it has taken and considers returning to the patient-focused approach that built its reputation decades ago.

Negative experience: This message is for all Doctors, physicians, DOS, AND DDS, its the front office staff, office managers, and people that are hired help that make or break a business. Unfortunately us as patients we loose out on a great physician due to poor management. I would of been a new patient at this facility but due to poor front office leadership I didnt make it in the door. To start off, Erika asked me to printout new patient forms at home, and bring them in, I over looked that and did as such, I was on my way and called the office to inform them I would be late because the forms took longer than I was told. Erika explained that would be ok, As we do live in Houston, My GPS rerouted me twice. I was finally 3 minutes away from the office before I got a phone call from someone Sarah, explaining how my appt needed to be rescheduled due to me being late. I was totally fine with that. As I was making the appt to a different day., Sarah begin being rude and unprofessional "saying if I have a problem with being late to appts then I need to come as early as possible, I stopped her in tracks, and explained to her that the forms, they want patients to print is very time consuming, and not only that I was lost. Instead of her sympathizing and being understanding she was very inexperienced and rude. I immediately told her to cancel all future appts. I called back to speak to the office manger and it was the same tone. Its obvious its a small business with acting managers and staff. Please use a corporation with experienced staff if you are considering a new dentist home.

On my visit I saw Sheri, the new dental hygienist, and she is amazing.
