Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for more than 3years. I am very happy with my results. The staff are so professional and polite. Very accommodating and courteous. I had my first visit with Darlene today. Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Horrible. First visit got stabbed in the lip with needle. Second vist ok to remove tooth. Last visit waited a hour in the lobby for a consutation and no one said anything about doctor being late. Doctor barley apologizes to me and when I dont want tto pay th 13k for work the consultant get pissy with me so I walk out. Find another dental lots in the area that know how to treat customers.

Fantastic experience: I have been with East Murrieta Dental for probably 7 or more years. Dr. Espeleta does superior work and more importantly is very kind & patient with someone like myself that is terrified of going to the dentist. Monday I went just for a cleaning & checkup and everyone, Kelsey who cleaned my teeth to Darlene, Shayann & Emily who helped up front and with the X-rays just constantly have the most professional and positive attitudes. It took a few dentists prior to finally find such a great dental facility. Thank you all!

Negative experience: I called to make a cleaning appointment and was told I needed to do a "new patient" appointment and exams which I was okay with no big deal, when I arrived for my appt after waiting 40 minutes, my teeth got looked at (for maybe 2 minutes) I was told I'm not eligible for a cleaning and that they wouldn’t do it, I had to get a deep cleaning instead which was going to cost me $740 out of pocket with insurance. They disregarded a question about a concern I had with one of my teeth, diagnosed me with something relating to gum disease and said I didn't have healthy enough gums to do anything. My overall "treatment plan" was going to be near 6k with insurance. I was then told if I donate $30 to the charity they're doing this month then I get $100 off my plan. Moral of the story I did not feel like a patient here, It was very uncomfortable and ALL about a money grab. When I mentioned I wasn’t going to spend that much money they were no longer interested. I went to a different dentist for a second opinion and was told my gums are perfectly fine and I was more than okay to get a teeth cleaning. Always get a second opinion & Maybe find a different place I would not recommend this one at all, the "customer service" if you can even call it that, seemed forced and very unhappy. Not very happy people and seem like they’re fed up with their job. For a dentist that works with children too, I would think they would be more enthusiastic and wanting to actually help their patients but that wasn’t the case.

Negative experience: We had just moved to the area and tried another dentist. They were rude and wanted to overcharge even though I have very good insurance. East Murrieta Dental Group was our second chance and I’m happy to say that my family will stick with them! Everyone is very kind and caring. They even provide blankets if you’re cold! They are reasonable on uncovered by insurance procedures. They see both children and adults which is very convenient. They book appointments timely and work with my children’s school breaks. We’ve been very happy with them. April 2026 UPDATE I’ve completely lost trust in this practice after Dr. Pham came aboard. Requested a cleaning for my son, she refused and stated multiple times that she can’t because she’ll lose her license? Fine, made the appt to have my son’s teeth deep cleaned for $604 out of pocket. At the appt they pushed a fluoride treatment for more money. Then they came back and said that everything will be covered by insurance. My daughter recently went for a cleaning and exam. They said she doesn’t qualify for just a cleaning and refused to touch her teeth without doing a deep cleaning for $740 out of pocket. They intimidated and manipulated her into thinking she has gum disease and needs $6000 out of pocket procedures done. Luckily she left the appt with nothing and told them she needs to talk to me. I told her to make an appt with our previous dentist in San Diego where she got her regular teeth cleaning and has two fillings that fell out that need to be refilled. All of which is covered by insurance. Her gums are just fine and other than the two fillings needed, the dentist has no concerns. Trust your gut and if you feel like you’re getting scammed, go get a second opinion. Going forward, we’ll make the drive to our trusted dentist in San Diego.

Fantastic experience: Brand new dentist. The moment I walked in I knew I was in the right place. Kelsey was great! Emily was great! Shay Ann was really good! Lorraine was awesome because she cleaned my teeth with the least amount of pain. Darlene and uh… no she was really good. Darwin really helped me and was great too. I’m so grateful and looking forward to working with Dr. Pham.

Fantastic experience: Ricky did a phenomenal job removing the attachments from my aligners. He has an upbeat energy and I know I'm in good hands when I get him for my check ups. Fantastic experience: I have a lot of bad experiences at different dental offices so I was nervous coming here for the first time today. upon walking in I was greeted very friendly. I was taken back right away for a X-ray and again I was greeted by a very friendly tech. She was very gentle, and informative. Next, was meeting Dr. Pham, who was very nice and went through everything throughly. She offered me different options for treatment, not trying to upsell me anything. Dani came in and ,again very friendly. Went over my different payment options, which she helped me through the steps. Started some of the treatments same day and I walked out of there amazed on how easy they made it for me and how comfortable they made me feel. I would definitely recommend! percent

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and stay **away** from this dentist office. If you want to ***waste***your time, money, and energy, this is the place to go. My experience here has been extremely frustrating. First, their prices are two to three times higher than other dental offices. Second, the quality of the work is very poor. I have had crowns done at other clinics before and the process was smooth and straightforward. Here, after getting two crowns in December, I had to return multiple times for adjustments because of issues with the length, jaw pain, and ongoing discomfort. Eventually the crowns needed to be re-cemented, and the experience only got worse. The diagnosis and treatment felt very disorganized, and it often seemed like the staff did not know what was going on. Although some of the staff are polite, the overall coordination in the office is extremely confusing. Several times I received appointment confirmation texts, only to arrive and find out I was not actually on the schedule or that I was assigned to the wrong dentist. Being a patient here has been a nightmare, and as soon as my crown issue is finally resolved, I will never return.

Negative experience: I went in on a scheduled visit..exams & teeth cleaning...no cleaning unless I got a deep cleaning. My insurance covers 2 a year. I'm upset and calling my insurance. They push implants which.I need..but who can afford? Be careful

Fantastic experience: I just went to East Murrieta Dental Group for the first time, and had a great visit all around! From walking in, the women up front were very friendly and service was very fast. Upon taking me back for all the new patient procedures, each person that helped me was very sweet and very communicative about everything that was happening! Dr. Espeleta was a very kind man who took so much time explaining everything using not only terms I would understand but searched images for me to visually see. He never rushed the visit, and gave me ample opportunities to ask him questions about anything I had concerns with. Fantastic experience: Great visit, I’ll start by saying it’s hard to find a good dental office but, this one met all expectations . The office was clean and the staff was nice.Starting with Shayann who did my x ray, she was kind and made me feel comfortable while doing my x ray. Dr. Pham was nice and patient with my 1.5 year old baby and super helpful for me as it was my first time at this dental Office. Lorraine my dental hygienist, was professional and did a wonderful job. Fantastic experience: Almost hesitant to give a 5 star because it might result in more people going here and it will be harder for me to get an appointment . I had my first appointment yesterday and from start to finish it was excellent. The front desk personnel (Darwin) got me an appointment within a week and that appointment included the dental exam AND cleaning. They booked my next dental exam and cleaning together as well. I hate when I have to go to 2 separate appointments so I loved that they are proactive with scheduling, and make an effort to get those booked together. I didn’t get the name of the x-ray tech but I had a technical question regarding the x-ray exam and she didn’t know the answer but got an answer for me before I left. Dr. Pham did my dental exam and was gentle during the pocket measurements. I don’t have any teeth issues - mostly gum stuff so this was quick. Dental Hygenist Kelsey who did my deep cleaning was so gentle but still very thorough, which I appreciated. She was the best dental hygienist I’ve had. She also provided helpful recommendations as I have perminant retainers and some teeth that are VERY close together and typically shred floss. Overall, highly recommend. The only downside is the location has pretty limited parking but it has a little Caesar’s in the same lot so there is a pretty quick turn over for short-term parkers but I would recommend being early for your appointment just in case.

Overall great dental care as a whole, but the hygienist was above and beyond. She really took the time to not just do her job but answer all the questions I had which was a lot. But overall her going over things that she didn’t have too and doing things that aren’t even apart of her job really made me feel better about things.You can definitely tell that this lady in particular really loves her job and wants the best. They were able to do a full scan and fix three issues I had same day. Including a crown! Definitely will return and it won’t take three years next time.

Negative experience: So disappointed! I have gone here for years, and have had usually a good experience until recently. I got a crown done, was not offered any other option but the one they had me sign for paid way more then needed to since I have insurance. Called my insurance they then lied to my insurance and said they offered me other options they didn’t! All well hearing the Dentist and Dental assistant talking about every item they’re out of and didn’t come in and low on stock.

Her care, professionalism, and sense of humor make every visit enjoyable (even when my face says otherwise!). Dr. Taka is phenomenal as well. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, transparent, and truly cares about finding the best long-term solutions for his patients. You never feel rushed or in the dark—he takes the time to explain everything and ensure you’re comfortable with the process. To give you an idea of how much I value this team—I used to live right across the street from the office and quickly fell in love with the care they provide. I’ve since moved to Escondido, but I still make the drive through Temecula traffic just to continue receiving care from East Murrieta Dental Group. Yes, they’re that good. Fantastic experience: Fantastic dental group. Everyone I came in contact with was professional, knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. I was nervous, had not been diligent about dental visits but Dr. Pham put me at ease immediately. Ended up needing a crown, they prepped same day (Friday)and I had permanent on by Monday. Ryan , the office manager was so helpful with insurance and billing. He helped me figure everything out as I needed a few items. Shayann was great with taking X-rays and making sure I was comfortable. Lorraine is the hygienist and she was amazing! Even the receptionist, Alyssa , who checked me out was extremely friendly. I felt like I made 5 new friends when I left. Thank you EMDGO !!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Pham and Darlene did an outstanding job on my crown replacement and filling! Everything was perfect!!! I have nothing but good things to say about them! Negative experience: It started with my visit. They have students practice on you. I just needed a cleaning, the student assigned to me could not regulate the polisher. I said nothing because I was once learning also. However you are billing me 1000.00 for this cleaning. I could have gone to a dental school for free. I was told my insurance covers 100%. A month later I start getting the phone calls from the billing department to pay my bill. Apparently they could not bill my insurance directly. It’s Delta Dental not some special insurance. Anyway the harassing phone calls daily like a debt collector. It’s only been a month. I’ll never go back. Paying my bill today after I billed my own insurance and they sent me the check. I want to know when I’m getting my paycheck for doing their office billing for them. This is me telling the world to go somewhere else for good service.

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist. Whole staff is awesome. So many things to list that I like, but one of the most important is the no surprise billing. Before any work is started the front office comes to the exam room and shows you exactly what is expected. Also, i have really sensitive teeth and they are extremely gentle.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to this office. I was nervous, but everyone made me feel very comfortable! The front desk was all very welcoming. The dental assistant, Darlene, was very informative and nice. Dr. Espeleta took time to review everything with me. Was very gentle with the procedure. I had a new crown by the time I left. I was very happy with their services.

Fantastic experience: Several members of our household have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2020. The entire staff has been amazing! Somehow they manage to perfectly balance high level professionalism with making us feel like family. Our daughter is special needs and they always make her feel as comfortable as possible. They have been very patient and understanding through some special circumstances with our family, flexible in their scheduling, and caring. Today I had a cleaning with Kelsey.

Everyone is warm and inviting. Dr. Taka and assistant Krista made me feel at ease and pain free during my last appointment and listened to my concerns which is always appreciated! Fantastic experience: Dr Espeleta and Darlene took excellent care of me when I cracked a tooth the other day - I was super nervous, but they were patient and calming, and extremely kind hearted. I had the initial work preparing for a crown and placing a temporary crown on one day, and they had the permanent one ready really quickly. I usually only visit for cleanings (Lorraine is excellent, fast, and funny), but this special visit was such a good experience - I recommend this office if you’re nervous or afraid of the dentist; they take good care of you here.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for almost 20 years. The team at East Murrieta Dental does great work and does a fantastic job of helping to make sure you're comfortable. As someone who doesn't have dental insurance, I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating and helpful the team was with helping me to afford what treatment I've needed.
