Fantastic experience: So I've needed to go to the dentist and have some things done for a little while.. I found Great expressions dental center in Pontiac and it was the best decision I have made when it comes to Dental Work... I had two teeth extracted and a filling and it was the least painful of any dental work I have had done in my lifetime! They are so professional.. From the receptionist straight to the Dentist / Doctor.. and everyone in between the assistants hygienist all of them we're so kind and made me feel the most comfortable I've ever been energetic I highly recommend this office

Fantastic experience: Came In as a new patient with a last minute appointment today. They did a full cleaning with fluoride, got my impressions for dentures, did X-rays, and fillings on 5 teeth. I have horrible anxiety with dentists and they made me feel very safe and calm.

Negative experience: Incredibly long wait times. Bring a book and a sack lunch. Seriously.

Fantastic experience: Super cool dentist, the entire staff was pretty laid back and runs the office efficiently (so u want be waiting a super long time in the lobby) they get you in, and get you out with a resolution. I may have offended them slightly lol, and unintentionally, however they still kept things professional and Dr North is a true class act and world class at what she does, very helpful and super knowledgeable.

As someone who has always had a fear of the dentist, I can tell you they chip away at that fear with every appointment. Positive experience: The workers here are some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, the only problem is there's only 1 main dentist and 2/3 assistants so the wait time is a little longer but they are so nice and sweet. I love these lady's that work here they clearly know what they're doing and care for you as they do it.

Fantastic experience: I've been going there for a long time. Just went the other day for a cleaning. I've mentioned before lots of love in that place! They worked efficiently still I think. I will look forward to going back.

Negative experience: I actually give it zero stars. This place just drilled all of my daughters teeth so bad she can't bite down anymore. She had 2 surface cavities but they messed up all of her teeth. The only teeth they didn't drill was her front 2 teeth and her 3 bottom teeth. Do NOT go to this office. I don't know how they are not shut down yet but they will be.

Fantastic experience: The ladies in the office are very nice! Ive never had an issue with scheduling/cancelling/rescheduling my appointments. I was having a dental emergency, and they were able to see me ASAP. They explained everything on my x-rays, told me how I got to where Im at and what we can do to fix it. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 6 years, and was terrified I was going to feel pain. I DID NOT. She numbed me up VERY well, and I didn't feel a thing when she was doing my fillings. They gave me a script for a good toothpaste, and an antimicrobial mouth rinse. I usually don't wait long passed my appointment time, maybe 10ish minutes? The Doctor is very sweet, and QUICK. She explains everything very well, and gives her honest opinion. Love coming here.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. Online appointment went through but when I got to the office they said my insurance was incorrect so they didn’t book me an appointment. Office said they tried to call me but it was my fault because I must have gave my number wrong. I did not AND they had my email. Multiple appointment reminders came through. No appointments to reschedule now until next month. We could have cleared up the insurance issue easily if they didn’t overbook my appointment. Very dissatisfied in the office and will not be coming back.

Positive experience: The doctor is very nice and knowledgeable, she offers very affordable treatment plans for uninsured patients. She is fast and i have never had any issues with staff. From time to time there is a wait but that should be expected at any medical facility, you will be seen but sometimes it takes a little longer than planned. In the 8+years i have only waited 1 time past my appointment time and that’s because of a medical emergency going on at the office.

The Dr explains what procedure(s) that will be done during your visit, even during the procedure so you're not surprised. It put me at great ease that I chose the right dentist. I also love the staff. They are all friendly and make you feel like you have been there forever. Love this office.

Fantastic experience: My first time at great expressions I had to have a tooth removed. They let me know all my options. All in all it took the dentist just a minute or two to remove the tooth. It was realatively painless and I will be going back. They do superb work!!! I just wanted to edit this and say that I took my 11-year-old son there and they were great with him I definitely still strongly recommend

Negative experience: Lack of care for patients in front end management. Receptionist and appointments are a joke. Why have online appointments booking but refuse to take them. New patients have to wait 5 months before getting a teeth cleaning. Forget emergency help from them, they only have one employee doing the work on teeth. The dentist is a doll but her co-worker lacks. If my insurance didn't force me to choose only great expression, I would never return.

Negative experience: I would give them 0 stars if I could. Staff is soul less. Had health issues so couldn't keep appointments and they treated me poorly for it. Highly recommend you avoid them. My first missed appointment was because of staff and their errors with my insurance. Again I highly recommend NOT going there unless you want people who don't care about people in your mouth

Negative experience: I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with this dental office. Over the past month, I’ve been bounced between four different offices trying to get surgery scheduled, and I’m still waiting for treatment. My condition involves lockjaw, leaving me unable to open my mouth or eat solid food, forcing me onto a liquid diet. When I reached out to this office—my general dentist—for advice on how to manage my lockjaw in the meantime, I was met with unprofessionalism and a dismissive attitude. Instead of offering helpful guidance or pointing me in the right direction, the dentist seemed annoyed and told me that if I couldn’t handle the situation, I should pay out of pocket. To clarify, I was not asking for pain medication or demanding immediate treatment; I was simply looking for advice on managing the lockjaw temporarily. Her response was both unhelpful and disrespectful, culminating in her hanging up on me after stating, “There’s nothing we can do for you here or any advice I can give you have a good day.” This lack of compassion and refusal to provide even basic assistance was incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with the impression that this office prioritizes financial considerations over patient care. I will not be returning after this procedure is complete and hope to find a healthcare provider who genuinely values their patients.

Negative experience: Worst dentist ever!!!! Did nothing but waste my time and all they wanted to do was blame the other dentist I saw for the problem I am having and snow one bit of care and concern to help fix the problem that was causing pain! I recommend you stay far away from this place

Negative experience: This location NEEDS help. I sat at that location from 830 a.m., than started to do this note at 11:40 in the waiting room. The fax machine does not work, the lack of heat is terrible. This location needs help!!

But if you like getting poke like a hog without a care and treat like an lower than a dollar value than human being this might be the place for you. They actually drill an hole on the side of my tooth and want me to make another appointment with them after me making an appointment for them to pulling 4 my tooth out. Fantastic experience: Called crying in big tears at 850 in the morning! They told me come right away! I was in so much pain I just wanted it all to stop. The dr and assistant were so patient and talked me through everything. Did some X-rays, figured out the issue! I explained to the dr how the last dentist I seen did a root canal and I never went back after being told everything was fine. Anyways she said she can pull the tooth and wisdom tooth that was also probably causing some issues. My tooth I put so much work in to save it had an abscess. The stuff that was suppose to be in there for my root canal ways there. The tooth was so bad! She pulled my wisdom tooth as well. I left out better than I walked in. I’m glad I found a dentist who was patient.

Negative experience: If you can find any other place to go go there this dentist is not for you and I’m speaking to anybody who needs dental assistance. They leave people in pain and constantly try to get more appointments out of you. Came there for wisdom, teeth, left, in pain from “fillins” And now I have a hole in one of my teeth

Fantastic experience: This Dental Office is Amazing!! Clean, friendly staff doctor My return visit, I didn’t mention my first visit. X rays and half of my mouth got a couple repair fillings and got fitted for a mouth guard for all my teeth grinding, then cleaned. Second visit was to do the other side and all the same. I got my mouth guard and it feels great and fits perfectly! Everyone here is just like family ❤️ They are sweet people who care about you and take there time with you. They want you to be as comfortable as possible. They have these big computer screens at the chairs so u can listen to any music of your choice. They smile with their hearts as big as the smile on their faces. If u got kids that need a patient and caring group of people to help keep them calm, this is the place for you and your family!! Thank u everyone, looking forward to seeing you in 6 months!!

Fantastic experience: Me and my children have been coming here for 16 years and they are almost like family to us. They are accommodating and have made going to the dentist into a great experience instead of a scary one! I moved an hour away and we still drive out to them for all of our appointments. ♥️♥️

Negative experience: I would leave this place zero stars if I could. For the 1st time in my life I have medicaid. Called around to many different dentists in the area prior and this was the only one that accepts my insurance. I decided to give it ago because it wasn't too far from me & it had a 4/5 stars. When I tell you this place should be shut down, trust me. First of all this place is in the HOOD of Pontiac, felt like I was going to get shot just walking into it. There's trash everywhere, no place to park except across the street in a sketchy parking lot. The place looks vacant & not well kept. I almost turned around & went back home the second i saw the place. The smell is atrocious when you walk in, the floor is disgusting, probably has never been mopped a day in existence, theres blood on the equipment, the ceiling tiles have spots from condensation. The staff is very rude & pushy. Not very professional at all except for the actual Dr. I was there a half hour before my appointment, I was filling out paper work not even 3 mins after I got there and the lady asked me to get up and follow her to take x ray, she asked me several questions and cut me off each time, asked me to take out all my jewelry that ive had in for years and rushed me to do so. I dropped one of my earrings on the nasty floor. & she was like "you coming? You ready? You done?" Then proceeded to say I didn't need to take it out. I managed to make it through all of the x rays, the first one being standing while biting down on something and she raised it while it was in my mouth hurting me. Then i did a sititng x ray and that was beyond painful. I then was left in the room for a while waiting for the Dr, I then started crying because of the bs I just endured. I'm NEVER coming back. This is the WORST dentist I've ever been to in my life. DO NOT GO HERE!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

Negative experience: I don’t know where to begin , I was waiting forever over a hour ! Told me about certain issues with my insurance that they didn’t tell me about over the phone , also I’m pregnant so I’m very irritated and uncomfortable and when I finally got called I was waiting another 30 minutes , It was dirty as hell and the gloves she put in my mouth didn’t smell the best but really It needs a deep clean in there the customer service wasn’t bad but they all around need improvement
