Fantastic experience: I am wildly impressed with Dr Buscemi, his staff, and his office. From the moment I walked in, I felt like an old friend being welcomed back. I don't think I've ever felt more at ease or appreciated on a first visit to a dentist or doctor's office in my life. The office is bright and cheerful and full of amenities. I lost track of the myriad ways the office staff has of making patients feel well cared for. The waiting room has bottles of water available, and there are probably lots of other things available, but I never sat long enough to find out. I was whisked into the examining room almost from the moment I walked through the door. This practice is an incredibly efficient, well-oiled machine. It's clear that a tremendous amount of thought went into creating an environment that is as welcoming and professional as possible. But what sets this office apart even more dramatically is the people. From the front desk staff to the the dental assistants to Dr Buscemi himself, everyone is cheerful and outgoing and sincerely interested in getting to know their patients. It's heartwarming and reassuring, especially when you realize that the generosity of spirit you encounter is matched by the dental expertise of the people in charge of your care. This office is the total package, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I thought my visit was a one-off. However, after the way I was treated, I have opted to switch my care to this practice for all of my dental needs. I came in for a crown, but I found a family.

He is so kind, understanding, caring, gentle…I could go on and on. When I first came here he helped save two teeth. His holistic and conservative approach is incredible. He came highly recommended and has blown that recommendation out of the water. He more than lived up to the expectations. He comes to you and lets you decide how you’d like to proceed with all the options. You are part of the care plan and the process all the way to the end result. All the staff at Buscemi Family Dentistry really are outstanding. From the admin, hygienists and assistants! They are all so kind and wonderful. They say it trickles from the top, which I believe wholeheartedly. It is a true testament to the character of Dr Buscemi! I will always come here and shout about this place from the rooftops. Fantastic experience: We brought our boys to Dr. Buscemi from Elkhart, IN (about 3.5 hours). We could not be more pleased with the care and attention shown by Dr. Buscemi and his staff. Lukus and Joseph typically do not do well at the dentist. Dr. Buscemi and the staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and made the boys feel at ease. THANK YOU! Dr. Buscemi!

Negative experience: For the initial visit they are super welcoming. They really roll out the red carpet treatment. Seriously, tour of place including focus on dentist and his family values, comfort bar, give a gift after appointment. Then they encourage you leave a review based upon that visit to secure an entry into a drawing. I decided to wait as I was going back for a crown and wanted to leave an honest review of his work. The staff and dentist were very kind, respective, and easy to work with. Past that is where it took a turn. I left with so many injections that I had pain for days from them. I had extensive gum damage where he struggled to remove some protective thing. My gums looked like when someone gets burned badly and the skin it rough and raw under. I ended up going to a periodontist who helped me heal the damaged areas. I was supposed to go back but honestly I didn't think I could endure that again. I kept putting it off and finally decided to go elsewhere. I am so glad I did. My new dentist fixed the crown Buscemi just did. It wasn't sealed right, had rough edges, and just didn't fit right. And no trauma to my gums. So understand that a lot of his reviews are not based off his actual work although some might be. Good luck.

Fantastic experience: Brought one of my kiddos for an initial consultation, and everyone was so kind and friendly. This was truly the warmest/kindest doctor's office, plus very professional and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: So far I’ve had a cleaning and a crown. Being new to this office I wasn’t sure what to expect. They are great at remembering details about your life outside of teeth and it’s obvious they make this effort. A nice touch. As far as teeth go, I get a sore and locked jaw when my mouth is open too long/wide. I have a small mouth. For cleaning they accommodated me with a pediatric size bite block that helped hold my mouth open for me (10/10 recommend). Crown experience: dentist is fast and thorough. The hygienist was A++++++. I didn’t feel even one shard of tooth during drilling, super aware and on top of spray and suction. Sometimes the hygienist is bored looking around while I’m choking on spit! This was the best crown experience I’ve had, I’ve only had one other but it felt mid-evil. Recommend this office!

Gave the options and left decision to me with factual data to think about. I have some bad root canals and poor quality dental work leading to health issues and Dr. Buscemi has been very understanding and believes me and is helping me correct those issues, putting together a plan to fix the bad work of others while respecting my wishes of no more root canals and a Holistic approach to improving my health. Fantastic experience: Initially came to this office for a second opinion on getting a crown knowing I did not want a traditional crown. Well 2 crowns later I did enjoy my experience here as much as you can with a dentist lol. In all seriousness, they are all extremely friendly and Dr. Buscemi is very honest in what he does and what he recommends. He also takes his time to make sure everything is done properly, no rushing and I feel like he truly cares about you and your experience! Fantastic experience: As a new patient I found the office staff (and the office) cheerful and welcoming. The hygienist, Jodi, was very gentle and thorough. Dr. Buschemi was also very thorough and kind. With the latest technology in the office he discovered a serious problem with a tooth that was previously undetected. I was given a referral to another dentist to correct the issue. Jodi helped me with that process as well since I live two hours away from this office. I would definitely recommend Dr. Buschemi and his office for a wonderful dental experience.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a dentist who wants to develop a long-term relationship with his patients look no further than Dr. Buscemi. He was our dentist at another practice in Rochester Hills and when our son was having issues with his teeth and needed immediate care (that our current practice couldn’t provide) we sought out Dr. Buscemi. Dr. Buscemi was able to see our son quickly, take care of the issue, and follow-up to ensure there were no issues post-treatment. When the time came for my routine cleaning I also switched to Dr. Buscemi’s new office. His hygienist was thorough and easily made me feel comfortable. I unfortunately had a cavity that needed filling and another tooth that had a suspicious looking crown but was advised to watch it and follow-up at my next cleaning in six months. When I went back for the filling and, after further inspection, Dr. Buscemi advised not waiting to fix the crown. He originally put the crown in years ago and I’m glad I agreed to get it replaced because after removal there was decay. With Dr. Buscemi’s continual professional training on new techniques and processes, I was able to get a new porcelain crown made while I waited not making it necessary to have a temporary crown and come back two weeks later. It was a longer appointment but I was glad to get it all done in one office visit. Dr. Buscemi’s treatment philosophy is all about quality patient care and fostering a level of trust with patients for their long-term health and wellness. We highly recommend his practice!

The next day the office told me their soonest available appointment was six days later. My neighbor referred me to Dr. Buscemi. I called his cell number on a Sunday afternoon and he called a great endodontist (Dr. Ross Ryan) that day. Both saw me the next morning in separate appointments. A root canal was done on Monday and a new crown was made and installed by Dr. Buscemi on Tuesday. Dr. Buscemi and his staff are excellent, very caring and very friendly. Today I had a cleaning appointment with Sarah and she is an excellent dental hygienist. She was very thorough and I have to say that of all the cleanings I've ever had with different dentists over the years this was the best!! I highly recommend this great, modern practice.
