Negative experience: I have gone to this office several times for different reasons. I have been satisfied with services provided, however, I have not been satisfied with billing. The first time I went for cleaning, they said that I would be charged for deep cleaning and the second cleaning and the rest of them would be routine cleaning at no charge. However, I was charged for the second cleaning. I will not be going to this office ever again.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ali and Dr. Mohammed Saad are truly the “Celebrity Dentists” of Michigan. They are the official dentists of Miss Michigan and Townsend hotel. I learned they have trained with highly renowned dentists across the nation and now serve patients here in Michigan. Both gentlemen are extremely knowledgeable, caring and are men of integrity. They always advise my entire family and I with a treatment plan they would choose for themseleves and their own family. We all love our dental visits and would never go anywhere else.

Positive experience: Susan did a wonderful job with my teeth cleaning. Daaid did a great job with the teeth cleaning and was very encouraging in telling me that I was taking good care of my teeth. Dr. Rice wasn’t pushing me , but advising me that my teeth grinding at night was contributing to future problems. When I’m not being pushed, I’m more likely to be compliant.

Negative experience: My husband and I have been patients at this clinic since 2021. We have had multiple teeth cleaning and Invisalign treatment at here. In late 2024/early 2025, my husband received a reminder for teeth cleaning from your clinic. He was advised by the front desk that our insurance would cover that teeth cleaning. However, we later received an ~$200 medical bill, and the insurance told us that they would not cover that. We later found out that it was because the staff at the clinic misinterpreted our insurance policy. We both are being harassed by debt collectors sent by this clinic. It doesn't seem like an ethical practice to us.

Fantastic experience: Previous office lied and said Dr rice had moved out of state they were cancelling apt after apt saying I owed them money and refused care which wasn't true then they billed the wrong dentist office so I had to call and put a dispute with the payment I just happened to find Dr rice and May by accident and I very much pleased and happy that I did

Negative experience: Sorry to hear Dr Thomas is no longer in the practice. He was a good doc. I don’t think it was very respectful to your clients not to alert us and introduce us to a new dentist. It makes me feel like it is not a connected caring practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rice and her dental assistant, Rana, were amazing! My dental visit was for an unexpected emergency. Dr. Rice worked me into her schedule. Fay, the office manager, carefully explained the plan for care and the associated costs. Daad, my dental hygienist, checked in to see that I was comfortable, too. All were upbeat, friendly, and professional. They took great care to assure my comfort throughout my dental procedure and were readily available for questions and follow-up care. The office is well organized and welcoming. All safety protocols are carefully followed.

Fantastic experience: quick and easy been coming here since a kid and never had any pain, they treat everyone like family.

Negative experience: Our family were customers at the Birmingham location for probably close to 30 years and in that time, the care has progressively gotten worse. There have been a multitude of provider turnovers which has caused an inconsistency in care. They encouraged me to sign up for Invisalign and after the completion of it, I continued to have jaw pain. They repeatedly told me that the bite was perfect through the use of a computerized probe to assess the bite. I felt that I was not taken seriously. Eventually a tooth cracked due to the pressure and the jaw pain has improved although my bite is still off. It is so disappointing since we enjoyed many years of quality care but when dentists place greater value on highly profitable procedures over basic core dentistry, the quality of care decreases.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Daaid, my dental hygienist, for a while now and I couldn’t be happier. She’s always on time, incredibly friendly, and makes every visit feel effortless. She's a great conversationalist with a positive attitude, and I’m in and out in no time. The entire staff is just as warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. On my original visit as a new patient (my previous dentist retired), I had a wonderful experience and was highly encouraged to pursue Invisalign. At the time I didn’t feel they were “pushing me” into as I came in interested in pursuing Invisalign but looking back now they only had their interests in mind and not my best interest. I paid upfront for the trays, was told I would get a call soon to have the buttons placed and trays started. Three weeks later I had still not received a call, so I reached out to the office and was told there had been some delays. During that time, I had also reached out to my oral surgeon’s office and it’s at that time I realized that Dr. Saad office had never reached out to my surgeon’s office like they had told me they had to clear the Invisalign. I was told Invisalign might not be the best idea for me by the surgeon’s office for certain reasons and when I reached back out to Saad and spoke with Dr. Rice she became increasingly more agitated and aggressive throughout our phone call. Was frustrated with me for having real questions and then started practically attempting to bully me into moving forwards with the Invisalign. I had never been spoken to in this manner from a Doctor/ Dentist ever in my life and this occurred over three phone calls, including one joint call with my oral surgeon’s office. Due to Dr. Rice behavior I choose to cancel the Invisalign which of course the office gave me a hard time about, they stated they would refund the money I personally paid but would be keeping me insurance money (which is fraud) so I had to jump through hoops to call my insurance company and get my deductible refunded. When I called the office back to try to speak to the owner of Saad Dentistry to talk about my experience, I was not given a phone number or told I could speak to someone, instead I was given an email address and hung up on. Moral of the story, save yourself the headache and go to a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office, from the front desk staff to the dentist were extremely helpful, patient and thorough. This is not only for the dental appointment but also for assistance in accessing information regarding my mom's insurance coverage. The dental appointment in particular, my mom having gone to two other dentists, they didn't think to examine why my mom was having pain. The dentist checked one small thing, something easy and based on this, my mom is already feeling better and more importantly, heard.

Fantastic experience: The manager Manager faye was awesome as well as the entire staff. I was greeted with a warm welcome and was treated like royalty. Thank you so much for my awesome experience at your establishment.

Fantastic experience: I went in to get a few things worked on left very happy with the visit! First off, May was amazing. She took X-rays for me and was painless, fast, and so so kind! I instantly knew I was in the right place due to her presence. After, my insurance had some issues and Fay (manager) advised me on how I should proceed in for my best interest, and what to ask my insurance for. She was upfront, helpful, and in my case incredible! Such a great vibe here and made me feel like I mattered.

Negative experience: I had a broken crown on a recent Friday. I was a patient with the former practice. I figured they might still have records. Called to find out but they were closed until Monday. I left a message. I waited until they opened on Monday morning for a return call. I called again after not hearing back. No answer; no call back. I called a third time from a different line and someone did pick up but put me on hold immediately. I concluded they must have enough business and I will go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Terrible experience, will not return. No respect for customer’s wishes or time, inappropriately selling Invisalign, charging triple the amount for cleaning and openly discussing confidential patient information at the front desk. Hygienist was the kindest person at this clinic, everyone else was only highly motivated to sell their products and services. I only chose this place because of past reviews, but staff must have changed.

Negative experience: I was overcharged and have called 4 times and have been told each time a check will be sent. It’s been 5 months and still no resolution. Very disappointed in the service.

Negative experience: Such a disappointing experience. I was away for a year and the entire experience was a nightmare. The new doctor, is well new. Her chair side manner was horrible. The entire experience was to upsell me. In speaking with me I asked who are you talking to because the doctor had no ability to make eye contact and speak in a normal tone. Rather it was like talking to a valley girl with serious glottal fry who was talked over by the hygienist. This place is awful and a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Save your time, insurance, and money and go to another provider. I will.

Positive experience: Been going to this dentist since I was a child and I had a new doctor today. Very poor experience, felt like she was only trying to sell me things. She tried to recommend veneers for a tiny spot of discoloration on one tooth, mind you I am only in my early 20’s. Then she asked me how I felt about “my gummy smile”. I did not tell her I had concerns for either of these things, I felt these were unsolicited opinions that were meant to persuade me to consider cosmetic dental work and play on insecurities that I did not have before my appointment… 3 stars because my dental hygienist, Sue, was amazing and so are the front desk staff- always lovely interacting with them!

Negative experience: First I would like to take note that the hygienists and front desk staff I have encountered are lovely . Daaid has done all my cleanings exclusively and she is phenomenal. She never pushes me to do or try anything . She is gentle and kind and this office needs her desperately . This location has been bought out and the original owners now run a brokerage of dentist offices across southeast Michigan . This means there has been a high turnover of dentists in this particular office ( my only experience ) . The former dentist , was lovely too . He moved . They replaced him with Dr. Schikora . My last appointment I was sitting in the waiting room while i overheard the new dentist tell an elderly husband that his wife’s teeth were so HARD to clean because she didn’t take proper care of them . Her bedside manner for communicating this was horrific . THEN she suggested this same patient undergo Invisalign !!!!! What ?!! An elderly patient who can’t care for her own teeth should buy Invisalign ?!! She had to explain to them what it was . I almost walked out i was so put off by this exchange . I overheard the husband and wife then discussing it while waiting to check out , very confused about the encounter . People that have trouble going to the dentist for whatever reason should be handled accordingly . Not scolded, shamed and sold on something that isn’t useful for their lifestyle . After my cleaning , the dentist came in for the “ go over “ and she immediately started telling me I must drink juice , soda lots of sugar for this to happen ! They found a small spot of decay near a newer crown ! I’ve been a holistic vegan for 18 years with bad teeth . I suggested I did none of those things . She said there was no way . AND I needed to fix this IMMEDIATELY “if i cared for my health” . I asked to see on the xray how bad this really was and she suggested that it wasn’t possible to tell me that , until she took the entire crown off which would include replacing it . Her demeanor was careless , flippant and an upsell , quite frankly . I’ve been to this office for over two years and previous staff was exceptionally more patient focused . I got a second opinion and much better compassion and care at another practice . At that office i never heard anyone being sold something they didn’t need . I won’t be back .

Negative experience: Their only mission is to upsell you. Been here for 3-4 years. Whether you mention invisalign or not, half of every single apt. will be used to push invisalign or some highly expensive procedure you don't need every time you go in. I had braces. Teeth are very straight. These experts told me I needed FOURTEEN MONTHS of invisalign for the incredible price of $6k. A routine cleaning is not possible with this business. They will also routinely tell you "you're all good, no charge" and you will get a bill in the mail a month later for out of pocket expenses they told you in office were covered, never mentioned some gizmo/picture they did wasn't covered by your insurance, or they just flat out messed up the billing. Finally, no matter how many times you confirm an apt. or opt out/unsubscribe they will keep hammering calls, texts, and emails 15 times for every individual apt. that you set up. Absolute gong show.

Fantastic experience: Super clean office, very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Dr Sikora did an amazing job fixing my chipped tooth and matching it perfectly to my other teeth.

Negative experience: I am editing an amazing previous review as this is NOT the same dentist office as in the past. All the original dentists and hygienists are gone and this has become a chain of dental offices without the expert care and personality it once was. It really is a shame.

Negative experience: Very sad to see this practice decline over the years. I’ve been a patient of Saad in Birmingham for over 4 years and have seen a lot change in this time. The turnover in the last two years is something I’ve never seen before. Initially I thought it must’ve been due to personal reasons, but then I noticed everyone leaving; receptionists, countless hygienists, and 4 dentists! On another note, I was seen today by one of the new dentists who performed a routine exam (I am seen every 4 months for a regular check up). Out of the blue, I was told I needed a gum graft and areas along my gun line filled when there were no issues at any of my previous checkups. At this time, I can honestly say that I no longer feel that I am receiving quality care and must look for somewhere else. To the Saad brothers, it might be a good idea to take a step back and place some much needed attention on your Birmingham location.

Negative experience: There is now a completely new team of doctors and office staff. The doctors are constantly changing, absolutely no consistency as there once was. All doctors now have left. Not nearly the same office, environment and care as you got a year ago. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: I appreciate the dentists there, but I had a simple Invisalign appointment where they had to put attachments on and left with burns on both sides of my mouth due to improper use of the glue used to stick attachments to the teeth. I called and they said they planned to give better training to the technician in the future, but I've never had this type of experience at a dentist before. Make sure your technician knows what they are doing, I would have expected they'd had the proper training before working on patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Thomas and the staff at Saad Dental are first class. Dr. Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented. He takes a patient-centric approach and provides the highest standard of care. The staff are delightful and always did their best to ease anxiety and make each appointment fun! We also see Dr. Thomas for our children and they genuinely enjoy going to dental exams! Thank you for taking wonderful care of all our dental needs!

Fantastic experience: I have been with the Saad group for many years and have always looked forward to my visits. The dentists are very friendly and professional, and the hygienists take great care to make sure the regular cleanings are thorough and a positive experience. My most recent cleaning with Jessica was excellent, and it included some helpful discussion about brushing, selection of the ideal toothpaste, and advice on how to keep my gums healthy for years to come. I highly recommend the Saad group. They do a great job!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Saad is the sweetest kindest dentist I’ve ever been to. His entire crew is extremely pleasurable , Courteous, and always on time. There is not a better dentist in the city, there is not a higher quality dentist in the city with a better result than Dr. Saad.
