Fantastic experience: Dr Channo is the best I have had in about 10 years. Not only is he polite, knowledgeable and caring, he will honestly tell you what you need and what you do not need. If you are in pain, he will call even in the weekend to check on you...not that you should reach out to him on a weekend . Channo’s office will work with you for date, time and insurance complexity. Every medical professional and his office should be this caring!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this office for, well geez not even sure. Has to be at least 15 years most likely more. I am not a fan of the dentist or any Dr. office for that matter. When Dr. Monk retired, I was like oh boy, here we go. What an awesome surprise with Dr. Channo. You all do not know me, but coming from me, trust me, this is huge. Dr. Channo is amazing!! He is so kind, caring, never has made me cry yet. Ha! I have Dr. anxiety. Dr. Monk as much as I loved him, would just tell me to toughen up. Dr. Channo, deals with my anxiety and his calm demeanor helps me. Not to mention the whole staff in this office is amazing. I fly in just to come to this office. Thank goodness with preventative care, I have been able to do this and take care of things before they potentially go wrong. Thanks again to Dr. Channo, and the amazing staff. I love your guys.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this dentist’s office since I was a teenager - back when it was run by Dr. Monks. When Dr. Channo bought the practice, the quality of care remained high and the transition was smooth. For the most part, all I needed was my annual cleanings. I ended up moving further away, so I considered finding a new dentist closer to home. That changed after my experience having some major work done. I smashed my two front teeth in a scooter accident on a Saturday. I called the office and left a message, and Dr. Channo called me back in a few hours. He made arrangements to come in on Sunday to see me, when the office is usually closed. The process was certainly not fun, but the work was stellar. From the start, the temporary caps on my teeth looked good enough that they were passable. The final result looks amazing - people are always surprised to find out that my two front teeth aren’t real. The color and shape match perfectly. Not long after that, I had an implant put in to replace a different tooth. Same experience - long process, but the end result looks great. Thankfully I’ve only needed cleanings over the last couple years - but I’m still happily making the drive twice a year because I know I’ll be well taken care of if I need anything major. Not to mention the hygienists are great at what they do as well! I never dread coming to my appointments. Highly recommend, especially if you’re in need of major repair and want to make sure it’s done right!

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with my experience at this dental office. I showed up for my scheduled appointment today (January 2026), only to be told that my appointment was actually set for January 2027. I had called to confirm the appointment last month, so this mistake was completely unexpected and wasted my time. I expect better communication and scheduling from them. Unfortunately, this experience really shook my confidence in this office’s organization and reliability.
We’re very sorry for the confusion regarding your appointment and understand how frustrating that must have been. When you arrived, we explained the scheduling error and immediately offered to accommodate you with alternative options. Unfortunately, you chose to leave the office before we were able to resolve the situation together. We always strive to provide clear communication and excellent care, and we regret that this experience did not meet your expectations.

Fantastic experience: We've been patients in this practice for 10 years. The staff is phenomenal. Tiffany, at the desk, knows us well and has always been accommodating and helpful. Laura, the manager, is also great. She is friendly and approachable. She has made a lot of updates to the practice which has been nice to see. If you are looking for a full service dental practice with a small family feel give the office a call.

The dental hygienists have always been great too. They text you appointment reminders and even text you if they have earlier openings. I just had a crown put on and the process was smooth and easy. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Channo since he arrived in Rochester when Dr Monks retired. I have to admit, I was nervous about this transition because I am very fearful of the dentist. Dr Channo is so very gentle and aims to make everything comfortable. I am grateful for his compassion that he extends. My friendly hygienist, Mags, is quite gentle too and explains everything she found while cleaning my teeth, like cavities etc. And, of course, the ladies at the desk/office are fabulous, as well. I can always be seen quickly, when having an “emergency”. Laura and Tiffany are continually so pleasant when I call or when Im in the office. They also show compassion and empathy when I’m told the bad news of needing major dental work.

He has very good up-to-date equipment in his office. One of the main reasons that I appreciate this dental office is that we don’t have dental insurance and his fees are very reasonable. He never tries to sell you a treatment that is not necessary.
