I just can’t say enough about the top tier dental care and the wonderful care and treatment. And her teeth look fantastic!

I love my dentist, he is very thorough & explains everything. Very good dental hygienists & Doris the dental technician makes the whole team a reason to come back. See you in August 2026.

Negative experience: I had an exam done with Dr. Trecapelli and he advised me I had 4 cavities among 3 teeth that needed to be filled. I have never had pain or any issues with my teeth. I scheduled and had preformed the fillings with Dr. Trecapelli and I am unable to bite or chew with these 3 teeth now since the cavities have been filled due to immense pain. I made the issue known with Dr. Trecapelli and he has seen me 3 additional times in regards to this issue stating the issue was my bite was off. He said that there is no reason otherwise as I had additional x-rays done and the cavities were not near my nerves in my tooth from his professional opinion. He recommended the cavities be refilled as a fix to my issue. I had the cavities refilled by him and the pain has worsened. I advised Dr. Trecapelli my issue and he advised me the only solution was to either pull the teeth or see a root canal specialist to see if a root canal would fix my pain I am experiencing on all 3 teeth he has worked on. I would never have had these cavities filled if I had known this would be the result and I am now experiencing lots of pain and additional procedures due to the results of his work. While I was in his office, I had also overheard a woman experiencing the same issue with cavities filled and complaining about the pain in result to having her cavities filled by Dr. Trecapelli. She was scheduling an appointment for him to fix hers as well. I have reported him to the board of dentistry for his poor work and creation of issues rather than resolving them and I am extremely upset with having to deal with this now. I hope someone out there thinks twice after reading this before scheduling an appointment with him.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to Great Expressions for over 5 years, but the last year has been a completely different experience. The doctor no longer shows on my routine cleanings. The new hygienist (Susan) is friendly, but she’s very rough when cleaning teeth. My gums bled a lot, and now my kids are scared to go to the dentist because of this one person. So, I’ll be looking for a new place

After 5 dennist we found Great Expressions Dental Centers in Rochester Hills.The entire staff at Rochester Hills location we’re all exceptional. From the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists themselves, the level of care, professionalism, and kindness has been unmatched. Skip the trial and error—we wish we had found them sooner!

Negative experience: The dentist and hygienists here are great, no complaints, BUT the front desk here is absolutely horrible. They never pick up any calls. They don’t return calls either if you leave a voicemail. The 3rd time I called, someone stated “the schedule is being looked at right now by my colleague, we’ll call you back to get you scheduled.” No call back. Can’t even utilize the great dentist here because I can’t get an appointment. Called another location and got an appointment right away! Hope they get better help.

Fantastic experience: Great Expressions Dental Center in Rochester Hills has been my choice for providing dental care for several years. The dentists and hygienists are well-skilled professionals who exhibit a genuine concern for their patients’ oral health care. In fact, they apparently remember (or maintain extensive notes regarding) their patients’ dental history because I’m often impressed by the inquiries and reminders they give me pertaining to the ongoing care of my teeth. The office staff members are also friendly and efficient. My appointments are easy to schedule and always start on time, and the availability of ample parking space within the small shopping center where GE is located makes my twice-a-year visits convenient and stress-free. Update from June 16, 2023 appointment: Once again, my oral care at GE Dental today for my six-month exam and cleaning was exemplary. The teeth cleaning I received was especially thorough, and the dentist, Dr. Velkovski, who examined me detected a filling that needed replacement to prevent the tooth from cracking, and he was able to schedule that dental service the same day. Update from December 20, 2023 appointment: My six-month oral exam and teeth cleaning today was performed efficiently (started on time; no waiting), very effectively, and accompanied by both professional advice pertaining to the care of my teeth and friendly conversation about the upcoming Christmas Holiday. Dr. Robert Trecapelli performed a thorough examination, and he gave me valuable suggestions regarding toothpaste selection and gum line care. Likewise, the dental hygienist gave me some tips on proper flossing technique. So, in addition to the oral care I receive, my office visits at Great Expressions are always educational. And I was able to schedule my next visit for six months from now at a time that is most convenient for me. Update from June 20, 2024 appointment: Once again, my six-month oral exam and teeth cleaning were done thoroughly and efficiently, including an optional cancer-screening procedure. The dental hygiene advice and education that I receive from the professionals at Great Expressions is worthwhile, because my teeth are In healthy condition, and the gum-receding issue that I’ve exhibited in the past is now apparently stabilized and my gums are likewise healthy with no evidence of inflammation. The care that I receive from Dr. Trecapelli, Dr. Velkovski, and the staff at GE Dental is top-notch, and it’s always easy to schedule appointments at a convenient time. Update from December 23, 2024 appointment: My routine, six-month oral exam and teeth cleaning today were performed quite thoroughly and professionally—as always. The dental hygienist cleaned my teeth using a combination of high-tech ultrasound and/or high-pressure water treatments along with manual scaling and polishing of the tooth surfaces, flossing between the teeth, and then applying a fluoride treatment after the dentist finished his exam. Dr. Trecapelli takes a genuine interest in my oral health care, and he always spends a generous amount of time counseling me regarding proper tooth brushing, flossing, and gum-care practices, and of course assessing the condition of my teeth and gums and advising me about any longer-term, “keep-an-eye-on”-type concerns. Great Expressions Dental Care always has accurate record keeping pertaining to both my office visits and insurance policy compliance requirements. Today, I was also able to obtain a convenient resupply of the teeth-bleaching solution that I customarily use (for which GE maintains a fresh inventory on hand so patients don’t have to wait for any back-ordered kits to arrive), and that enabled me to do a last-minute whitening of my teeth ahead of the Christmas holiday family get-togethers. Thanks!

Negative experience: The front desk experience on several of my visits, has been the worst every single time I come in or deal with them on the phone. Namely Tina. This Rochester office is very unpredictable and unprofessional. They change my appointments everytime! When you take a day off work and then call and say they have to reschedule, every time, BAD! One more thing, the front desk staff should never have potato chips sprawled out on the desk munching (with your mouth full) in front of patients! As soon as the Dentist fixes my tooth that he started, I will go somewhere else. I refuse to be treated this way by her every single time!
