My 10-year-old and I usually have our appointments at the same time and after our latest appointment he told me, “Ya know, people always say they hate going to the dentist. And I don’t hate it. I’d rather do something else, but I like our dentist. She’s really nice!” And if that’s not a ringing endorsement for a visit to the dentist, I don’t know what is!!

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to Norman and my daughter referred me to Dental Design. I’ve been for a cleaning and an emergency visit. I am extremely impressed by the professionalism, efficiency and kindness of the staff. My 91 year old mother fell and had to have some pretty extensive work done on her front teeth. They treated her like royalty and made her smile beautiful again. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful dental group.

Fantastic experience: Today was my 2nd visit. Kristin and Dr. Jenkins are fantastic! I've been to very good dentists before, but Dental Design Studio is at a different level. I don't dread visiting these dentists. In fact, not to make a seemingly exaggerated statement, but a visit to their office is more like visiting a spa. I would give them 6 stars, if possible, and just worry that getting an appointment with them in the future might be more difficult. Stay awesome!

Fantastic experience: Took my 3 year old for a “happy visit” to get her used to the dentist experience and her first cleaning and they were BEYOND great with her. Very patient centered, great communication, and accommodating. Made appointments for the rest of our family there.

Fantastic experience: Dental design was amazing from the front desk to Kelly The hygienist. Dr. Parker was amazing as well! Everyone was super kind and professional.

Negative experience: They recommended a procedure that was outrageously expensive. After getting a second opinion, I didn’t even need the procedure. They have a very nice office and the newest, fancy equipment….yet insurance does not cover for these new, advanced tests/screenings to be performed. Make sure to check with your insurance before going to this place for any service because they will not tell you if insurance doesn’t cover something and will bill you for it…and it will not be cheap!!

Fantastic experience: I found Dr. Spurlock to be the best dentist in Norman. She made sure I was comfortable—to the extent that she even helped me put on the audiobook I wanted to listen to. They listened with me since it wasn’t available on Spotify. When I told her I had developed anxiety while numb, she took the time to discuss possible reasons with me. She was incredibly informative, even beyond her field. She wasn’t in a hurry and spent a lot of time with me. As a result, when I left the office, I felt extremely thankful. My crown was made during the same visit, and those two hours flew by. Her assistant—the technician—was also amazing. I believe her name was Meagan or Michelle, though I don’t quite remember. The receptionists are very welcoming, and they even keep your preferences on file, so you don’t have to repeat them each time you visit. I want to thank her and her staff for being amazing

Fantastic experience: I used to go to dental depot, but I prefer Dental Design so much more. The environment is relaxing, and I can’t help but love that it’s an all (or mainly) women run establishment. The hygienists are always caring and thorough, especially when you have any questions or concerns. I try to recommend them as much as I can when my friends need a new dentist.

I am reminded that some visits, especially as we get older, are actually a mini surgery of our teeth to keep them healthy and to keep the original teeth! Fantastic experience: My anxiety level was extremely high before meeting Aly, Dr. Jenkins and the other amazing staff members. When we left, I was trying to hold back tears. They helped make a plan for repairing my child’s teeth and then will help her to maintain healthy teeth, but they were kind and didn’t make me feel like a failure as a parent. Before I left I made an appointment for myself, too.
