Fantastic experience: New to me hygienist and I absolutely loved her. She was thorough and positive. She did not shame me like the last one I had there. The doctor is good. I had considered changing if I had had to see the hygienist I had last time I got my cleaning. Office staff is great as well.

They answered all of my questions and explained things clearly to me so that I could understand all of my options. I felt incredibly satisfied with my cleaning, and felt overall more educated on my oral health after it concluded. There is no better dental spot in Norman than Dental Care. Dr. Based is also one of the coolest dentists you'll ever meet. The whole staff are welcoming and efficient in their operations.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE Dr. Basey and his staff!! I used to abhor going to the dentist but now it's my favorite appointment. I initially went to their office to find a dentist for my routine cleanings but ended up getting Invisalign to fix some crowding I had. They are always so kind and work with my schedule to make sure I make all of my appointments. The ladies in the office are so nice and easy to work with, I couldn't ask for a better team to take care of my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Smiley and the office was very kind, informative, and patient. While they couldn’t do my procedure (surgery), they sent the referral to the surgeon and gave me an antibiotic and told me they could help me with some other things. That was the first time I went and they helped immediately. Would definitely recommend!!

Negative experience: Severely dissatisfied with how they operate here. Claimed I needed work done. I wanted to wait for another day so I could call insurance. They pushed and pushed and assured me if I didn't that day it would take an extended period to get me back in. Turns out insurance also agreed and said the work did not need to be done and they will not be covering any of the services. Then call me 5 months after service requesting the money insurance didn't pay. Already paid over 500 dollars on the initial visit. And not they are requesting Over 395 dollars. Mind you. No teeth were pulled. There were no infections, no cavities. They still made it sounds severely urgent when it was a deep cleaning that definitely was not urgent. Don't let them do the same to you. Be sure to call insurance first. They will lie to you and charge you for it later

Positive experience: Everyone at this office is super nice, but they always seem super busy. They are also very insistent on applying flouride. I shared that I didn't really want it because I had plans to eat and there are recent studies that it may not be so great for you, but they proceeded to apply it and charge me for it anyways while saying, oh you can wait thirty minutes to eat. Slow down and listen to your patients!

Fantastic experience: To begin with, I was sad because I was having to leave our old dentist, hygienist because they no longer accept our insurance. I made a call and got in immediately for all 5 of us. Blake was our hygienist. We didn't miss a beat. I felt like I've known her forever. Fantastic person. Dr. Basey came in and he too was very nice. They made a hard decision for me to make to leave one place much much better and easier!

Negative experience: Shelby and the other staff and the dentist were very nice. The office manager Jamie was rude and very condescending when speaking to me. She refused to file my Medicaid because she said I have other insurance and when I tried to explain to her that I am disabled and been off for medical reasons she started yelling and told me to leave. I asked her to explain why she wouldn’t accept my Medicaid because my boss (who is Caucasian) had used her Medicaid with no questions asked. Well they were trying to tell me all of my teeth had to be pulled and after getting a second opinion I found out that they were just trying to get more money. My new dentist told me that my bottom teeth only need deep cleaning and a crown which is a lot better than extracting all of my teeth! Please always get a second opinion before allowing them to pull out your teeth!! I hope this helps people who are planning to go to this dentist! The office manager needs training on how to talk to patients and they need to stop trying to rip people off.

Fantastic experience: Dr Basey and his staff are by far the best dentist I have ever been to. They always do a great throw job, inspect my teeth, my gums and inside my gums, always take X-rays and make sure that they do a full inspection on everything in my mouth.

Negative experience: New staff was very rough with mouth care not trained well enough- No explanstions - who r u ?what r u going to do? Needed longer consult w dr to describe future procedures. Shelby was friendly & Great! at reception area- Other women in office never acknowledged you.

Fantastic experience: Had bad infection in left rear lower molar. Extremely painful but situation was handled with extreme care and superior dental work.

Fantastic experience: I went on a vacation and ended up having pain in my mouth. Called in the morning and was able to be worked in as a new urgent appointment. They take my insurance which was a huge bonus. They took multiple Xrays, gentle assessment of my mouth problem and was even able to get my cleaning done so I didn't have to come back for 6 months. They numbed my mouth for me to get some relief and prescribed antibiotics. Set me up with a referral for an endo doc to get an appointment. I only came to this clinic bc my regular dentist didn't have any appointments available until next week. I am so grateful that they were able to get me in so quickly and handled every problem I had. The doctor was empathetic and gentle on the tender parts of my mouth and gave me my options. I have decided to switch dentist bc of my experience. I will be going here for all of my dental needs because of the way everything was handled. I highly recommend this dentist and his staff!! After all of that my bill with my insurance was way cheaper than my previous dentist. Thank you to the dentist, the hygienist, dental assistant and front office staff! On top of all that, they gave me some gifts to take home. ❤️
