Fantastic experience: I was greeted immediately upon entering the waiting room. I did not have a long wait before being brought back for my cleaning. The person who took care of me was very friendly and did a great job. I have used this dental office for years.

Fantastic experience: When I first came to Dr. Carmen, I was in a very difficult place in life. I had been suffering from PTSD for about four years, and my self-care had fallen apart. My teeth weren’t just in poor condition—they were in desperate shape. The only reason I finally walked through his door was because of pain. At that time, even the thought of going to the dentist was terrifying. From the very beginning, Dr. Carmen and his staff treated me with nothing but respect and compassion. Instead of judgment, I was met with kindness. He not only made me feel comfortable while in the chair, but after several visits, I actually began looking forward to appointments—because it became one more place in the world where I felt safe and cared for. Over the past four years, he has completely rehabilitated my mouth. He saved teeth I was sure would have to be pulled, and even when a tooth couldn’t be saved, he never once made me feel ashamed. Today, my teeth look like nothing was ever wrong, which is something I never thought possible. His staff are just as incredible—always welcoming, respectful, and warm. They truly make you feel like family. What really sets Dr. Carmen apart, though, is the way he goes above and beyond for his patients. On one occasion, I was in severe pain late on a Thursday, right before the office closed. The staff stayed after hours to see me, took x-rays, and then sent them across the ocean—because Dr. Carmen was in Europe at the time visiting one of his children. He stepped away from his trip, reviewed my x-rays remotely, made a diagnosis, called in a prescription, and arranged for me to see the specialist I needed the very next day. More recently, I had another emergency over the weekend. I called just to leave a message, but not only did someone pick up, they actually met me at the office even though it was closed. Once again, Dr. Carmen was away—this time on an anniversary trip. And once again, he immediately took time out of that trip to review my case, give a diagnosis, and set me up with the treatment I needed. I don’t know many doctors—let alone dentists—who would do this for a patient. Dr. Carmen just does it with a smile, insisting it’s “no big deal,” when in reality it is extraordinary. I cannot express enough gratitude for the care, professionalism, and humanity Dr. Carmen and his team have shown me. For most people, going to the dentist is something to dread. For me, it has become a place where I’ve gained confidence and healing, not just in my smile but in myself. He is truly the best.

They fitted me for a nightguard 6 months ago and it has been the best investment. I sleep better and can feel the affects of me no longer grinding my teeth at night.

Negative experience: My dental coverage changed and I showed the lady at the front my new card. She had ran it before my dental cleaning did not say anything. A month later I get a bill for a couple hundred for the dental cleaning. I called the office and she said that they didn’t take my new insurance. I asked why she didn’t tell me that at the visit and she said “it’s the patients job to verify coverage” wow thanks a lot! She could have simply said I am so sorry you’re not in network anymore but no. Did not even apologize and I had to pay cash price for a dental cleaning that could have been free. So ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely stellar patient care and bedside manner. Treated me right away as a new patient with an emergency situation. Worked to manage me pain while finding me a specialist to see my quicker by weeks than I could find. Dr. Carmen was great but his staff was just as kind, concerned and expedient.

Fantastic experience: My cleaning cost $400 but luckily I only had to pay $75 out of pocket. Great dentist and staff but I can only go there because of my great insurance. If I was wealthy.....Dr Carmen is well worth the money. Nice staff clean up to date equipment and stylish office too!! I have be a patient for over 10 years now.

Fantastic experience: As I was in a " dental emergency " with a wisdom tooth, I called Bobby's office in hopes of maybe getting a next day appointment. I explained to the Receptionist my issue and she took some info and then told me that they could see me in 30 minutes from the time I called. I'm not an existing patient with his office. The professional and caring service i received while in his office was nothing short of stellar. Bobby was able to remove the tooth immediately and send me on my way within an hour and a half. I will definitely be going back with my wife and kids with the intentions of being a regular patient with his office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Carmen and his staff provided me the easiest and most enjoyable experience (if you can even SAY a dental visit was enjoyable and easy) i have ever had with a dentist. I was already annoyed by the fact that my husband’s and my international flight had been canceled when i broke a crown. I was due to fly out less than 48 hours later and i was going to be gone for a month. I was referred to Dr Carmen by an endodontist i had used over a year prior so i called his office at 8 am to see if he could POSSIBLY work me in. I arrived at his office at 10:30 and left at 1:00 with my new permanent crown. They are an incredible team who go out of their way to make you comfortable and take care of you. And they have fun while they are at it! I will be forever grateful to them all for taking such good care of me!

Negative experience: If you want to be treated like money instead of a person this is the perfect place to go. They will squeeze as much money out of you as possible and if you can’t afford it the only option they offer is to tell you to get loans. When my INSURANCE made a mistake in sending the money they sent us a whole one letter and before we even had time to call them to see what the problem was, they called me telling me that they were going to take me to court and being absolutely atrocious and attacking me. I was an 18 year old and they knew that, they did not care. And again it had been an insurance problem, which they did not even bother to try to figure out before making accusations, and then had the gall to be surprised when I didn’t come back after that with no apology.

Negative experience: ZERO STARS! They are only understanding and patient with their services on their own time. They unexpectedly cancelled our appointment follow up due to their AC being out, which interrupted our entire day and plans, and when we needed to reschedule an appointment the same day, they didn’t care about uncontrollable events in our life and said we’d have to pay $100 to even cancel & can’t reschedule. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Front reception staff made me feel right at home and they had already fixed my insurance — I had entered it wrong. Such a cool team! 2024 update: this team is still absolutely killing it in the amount of care and skill they bring to the table—my usual Hygienist was wasn’t able to see me this time and they asked to move me to a different slot and my new hygienist was just as amazing and Eva (my usual hygienist) came to check on me and ask me about a health issue I had been dealing with 6 months ago both ladies offered so much love and great woman to woman advice—no where else have I felt more like family member than just a client. Oh and my teeth are doing great and they are doing an amazing job on that front too. I trust their advice 100% all the time and will be ordering a mouth guard next paycheck to protect my teeth because I am grinding them. Thank you guys!!!

Fantastic experience: Always love Eva as my hygienist but what I really love now is the new X-ray with out the cardboard squares that used to be crammed in my mouth! Thank you Bobby for adding the new equipment. It’s the best!

Fantastic experience: Initial observations here, since I've only had two appointments so far: the office is very quiet and calming. Decor is subdued, there's no loud music or annoying television in your face in the waiting room. The staff is very friendly, and were kind & patient with my small children while also being patient with my anxieties. Liz cleaned my teeth this time and was very gentle & did a good job. Dr. Carmen is straightforward and matter-of-fact, has a good bedside manner, and listens well.
