Fantastic experience: My 5-year-old had such a great experience at your office. He has struggled with the dentist in the past and was a bit hesitant about his appointment. But the team there treated him with so much care, kindness, and respect. I could tell that he felt like he was involved and a part of the process, rather than the process just happening TO him. As we got in the car, he literally asked me if he can come back tomorrow . I had to explain that we only go twice a year, so next time will be in the fall. He then asked if this could always be his dentist office. Thank you to the whole team that worked with him, from initial greeting to check out. A good experience now sets him up for a lifetime of maintaining good dental health.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and her team are absolutely amazing. We have been going to her since my daughter was 1.5 years old, and every visit has been phenomenal. They really know how to deal with kids, even super nervous toddlers, are supportive of breastfeeding, really clearly explain to the parents what they are seeing in the mouth and how best to take care of our little one’s teeth, and take the time to answer questions. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with all the staff here- everyone is so nice and amazing with small children! My son had to go in today and he got x-rays for the first time. Lisa was so incredibly patient with him and made it a fun experience! She explained everything and let him touch all of the equipment so he could see it wasn’t scary. Also she was generous with the stickers which helped too. For his cleaning Kim did a great job as usual. He’s normally scared in situations like these, but the staff made him feel so comfortable and safe. Thank you so much- we’re so lucky to have access to this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: I had walked into this Dentist office and knew right away I wanted my children to go here. The place is so beautiful and felt very welcoming. The staff were personable and nice. They made the dentist office a fun place to be. Also the Lion King was playing and that's my children's favorite movie (it was a sign we were in the right place).

Fantastic experience: I’ll start by saying that my 3 year old looks forward to going to the dentist with such excitement, which I attribute to how amazing his experience has been from the moment he first walked in there on his first dental visit ever to every subsequent visit. The staff and Dr. Dina, are friendly, incredibly engaging and have really mastered the art of engaging little humans throughout the course of a dentist visit, and even making it fun along the way. The office decor and the adorable therapy dog are a bonus, but the staff is a dream team, hands down. I’m so glad I found this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and her amazing team helped us to assess and redress my 3-month old’s tongue and lip ties. The consultation was thoughtful and thorough, the procedure professional and well-executed, and the follow-up care instructions clear and effective. The office staff were easy to communicate with and made our visits a pleasure. The nursery space is also nice and well-stocked. And after a month our baby is doing amazing and we have seen huge benefits from the procedure. Truly cannot recommend this practice enough if you suspect your child might need a frenectomy. (Also, they have an adorable therapy puppy!)

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely fantastic. Our son is almost two and has had 3 cleanings here so far plus a tongue/lip tie release as an infant. Everyone here is kind, patient and wonderful with kids. Today our hygienist (I can’t believe I still haven’t remember to get her name) sang to him the whole time she was cleaning his teeth, after taking the time to show him all her tools to calm him down. Dr. Dina is a great dentist. They answer any questions you have and you will never feel judged. I also feel like they’re a pretty popular practice and always seem “busy” but we’ve never had a long wait or felt rushed. They seriously run like a well-oiled machine. And the facility itself is very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Dina and her team! I took my baby to see them for a tongue and lip tie and they were phenomenal! Everyone was so kind and helpful and so good with my baby. They were also very thorough to ensure he had the best recovery possible. I’m so grateful we went, within a few days we had our happy baby back who was eating better, sleeping better, and no longer crying constantly from his gas and reflux pain. Truly life changing! Fantastic experience: We are continuously amazed by how great of an experience we have with Urbana Pediatric Dentistry! We had them fix our daughter’s oral ties (after using them a year and a half ago for our other daughter’s ties) and they are the best and make you feel so comfortable. Fantastic experience: The location is easy to get to. The office is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff though, is absolutely phenomenal. They were gentle and caring with our newborn. As a first time mom, the idea of a lip/tongue tie release on our precious little girl was gut wrenching. They explained everything and didn’t mind answering questions. I appreciate that they give the estimated cost after insurance as well. It was also a huge blessing that they had everything a breastfeeding momma could need on hand if necessary- pillows, changing area, drinks and.snacks. Excited for our girl to grow up with this dental practice taking care of her needs.

Fantastic experience: This practice came recommended to our family when our newborn required a procedure to correct a tongue and lip tie. The entire staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and assuring in their operation. Insurance benefits were easily checked and the initial consultation, procedure and follow up appointments were scheduled. Any questions my wife and I had were answered by a knowledgeable and understanding team. We will continue to take our son to this practice for future needs.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chehab and staff are amazing. In addition to always engaging our kids for fuss-free cleanings, our son had an unfortunate run-in with a dresser and Dr. Chehab was able to see us the same day (within 30 minutes of the accident occurring), was waiting for us when we arrived, and supported our son through the procedure and treatment while answering all of our questions. Would highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to share my recent experience at Dr. Dina's dental practice. My young son needed extensive dental work and had severe dental anxiety as well as an expressive language delay. We had been to several dentists over the years who claimed to specialize in treating children with dental anxiety and language delays. Still, they were not gentle or sympathetic to his fears. One even suggested holding him down, which was very distressing. However, Dr. Dina, Aleshia, and her staff were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly caring and patient with my son. They took their time to ease my son's fears and completed an extensive treatment plan quickly. Not only did they offer reassurance to my child, but to me as well. Their compassion and expertise completely changed my son's perception of going to the dentist. He was actually excited to go to the dentist this week, which has never happened before. I can't recommend this practice enough. Everyone there is truly amazing!

Fantastic experience: We recently saw Dr. Dina and team for our 10 week old’s lip and tongue tie consult & revision and have nothing but glowing reviews. Communication has been stellar from scheduling through our visits. From check-in to check out every single person we interacted with was kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their use of technology is beyond what I would have expected including photos and videos sent directly to me in the moment and anyone else on our care team. The office is clean and peaceful. Everything was explained thoroughly and nothing EVER felt rushed. The recommendation to release both ties came as “yes, I think this would help your feeding journey if you choose to take that step” rather than what I feared would be “we need to do this, schedule at the front desk”. Perhaps most importantly, it’s clear how much they care about their patients (and families) and I could not be more thankful for this in an otherwise stressful time.

Fantastic experience: My son had an emergency situation and Dr. Dina and staff were immediately available to help. They scheduled him within minutes and gave extremely detailed analysis of the situation with all the instructions and explanations. Very warm and caring environment and even my children love going here (though kids usually don't like dentist visits). So happy that a friend recommended and would definitely not go anywhere else. Fantastic experience: It wasn’t until I began going to Urbana Pediatric Dentistry that I wished I had always brought my son there. I’ve only been there 2 times and it already feels like a family. The environment makes you feel like you are at home. The staff treats you with the utmost courtesy and care, and that is just for the parents. They treat my son just as good, always explaining what he can expect so there are no surprises, having distractions ready to help him stay calm. Even the toy prizes they have are impressive. I’m so glad I made the choice to use this team of amazing people for my son’s dental family.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and staff are AMAZING! They’re so patient working with my son and go the extra mile to always make it as fun as possible during the teeth cleaning. They sing song during oral exams and brushing and they always have the overhead TVs on with kids shows! They take the time to explain anything you want to know and you never feel rushed. As embarrassed as I was showing up to my sons appointment a day to early, they were able to squeeze us in (I would never take this courtesy for granted knowing how it can effect a doctors schedule working in a similar industry) and I was so so thankful! Fantastic experience: Today was our first visit with Urbana Pediatric Dentistry, and I am very impressed. Dr. Dina was very knowledgeable and down to earth. She explained things to me as the parent in a very approachable way. She went through each x-ray , explained them to me, and answered every question. Every team member we interacted with was kind, genuine, and passionate about pediatrics. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in by a smiling face who spoke directly to my daughter and even gushed over her new shoes with her. That set the tone for the appointment. The team was patient and worked to develop a rapport with my daughter, who has anxiety from a previous dentist. I was surprised to see my daughter not just compliant but actually squealing and laughing at a dentist appointment. I am so happy we found Dr. Dina and the team. They have designed their practice to be truly pediatric friendly - with alternative x-ray methods, the tv over the exam chair, the welcoming decor, and kid-friendly team. Some people are just made to work in pediatrics, and this practice is the definition of that. I am so thankful we found them.

Fantastic experience: The best pediatric dentistry practice in Urbana! Dr Dina and everyone in her office are great! They are so welcoming, friendly and professional. My 3 yo daughter is always excited to go there and looking forward to her next appointment. Highly recommended for your kids!

Positive experience: Great people, great dentist, only reason why I can't give it five stars is because they dropped my insurance carrier at about 60 days before my appointment. This made it extremely difficult for me to find another dentist that could keep to my son's cleaning schedule. Most pediatric dentists in the area were not taking new clients or did not take my insurance. They also provided no referral or recommendation on replacement other than look it up on my insurance website. My replacement is 20 minutes further from my house than this was. My guess is my cheaper insurance wasn't as profitable or being paid to them in a timely manner but that's purely speculation. Dropping my insurance would be acceptable and I'd still rate them five stars if they would have given me plenty of notice. Around 60 days out is not enough notice when some pediatric dentists are scheduling 9 to 12 months out. Dentist and staff was always fantastic and losing that just makes it worse. 5 star rating for every visit but 2 star in communication when it is needed. Update after reply. I think Dr Dina is the best in the area and there is no question about that. I will change my review to 4 stars and I wish I could do 5 because the people and service is better than anyone I have met in pediatric dentistry. As a small business owner myself, if I have a supply chain, or a vendor issue happens and I can't follow through by a date agreed on, my customers would be upset with me, and not who is really at fault. It's very unfortunate and that is probably what happened here. I don't know what happened in the background, but what I do know is I received a text on the 15th of February saying March 1st they will no longer take my insurance. I also believe Dr Dina would do everything in her power and strive to give 100% customer satisfaction, always. I hope it was the fault of the insurance and only giving you a 15-day notice of termination. I wish you the best and a prosperous dentistry for many years to come.

Fantastic experience: Dr.D is the best pediatric dentist in this area! When my daughter had a dental emergency over the weekend, she was able to get us seen right away for the most efficient and kid friendly procedure that was needed and followed up with us throughout the process- she even sent the other provider a gift basket on our behalf!! Every time my kids go there I have peace of mind that she will do a thorough and amazing job - and my kids love going there! The office is clean, smells wonderful all the time and very family friendly ! Even my 14 year old like it there ! I highly recommend her practice!!

Fantastic experience: As a pediatric OT, your experience includes not only the quality of service, but the interaction with staff and the providers. Feeling comfortable, having your questions heard, and knowing that your child will be in safe hands is so important. My experience was all of the above. The process from start to finish was thorough and the staff was amazing. Dr. Chehab was concise, warm, and so knowledgeable - helping us to feel at ease as we discussed a decision for our infant.

Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely amazing visit with this practice. It was my 2 yr old daughter’s first time seeing a dentist and from the minute we walked in she was welcomed by everyone. The front desk, the dental hygienists and the doctor we saw were great. They put whatever show your child chooses on the tv and she was able to pick a toy at the end of the visit. My daughter was never once scared and she had a really fun time with everyone in this practice. We highly recommend this dental practice and won’t be going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and her staff are absolutely wonderful! (Parents - I can’t even begin to explain how important it is to take your children to a PEDIATRIC dentist. They are so much better equipped to leave a long-lasting, good impression on your children when it comes to taking care of their teeth.) My children have seen Dr. Dina for a variety of different things - routine cleanings, fillings and even an outpatient dental procedure in a local hospital - and every single experience has exceeded our expectations. Dr. Dina and her team do a fantastic job engaging with both the children and the parents, and they incorporate things into their practice that make a HUGE difference to the kids - like the well-stocked prize bin, TVs in the ceiling and fun decorations for the holidays! When your kids ask you if it’s time to go back to the dentist yet, you know you’ve found a keeper! Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and everyone at UPD are just phenomenal! My daughter needed a lot of dental work—the first dentist we went to made my wife and I feel like we were failures. We did the whole, "let's get a second opinion" thing, and we are so happy to have found UPD! While the prognosis didn't change, Dr. Dina helped us to understand so much more about my daughter's mouth and everything that can effect her teeth. Her ability to explain it in a calm and simple way—something the first dentist at the other place failed to do—immediately stopped the feelings of failure. But, what's more important is that everyone on the staff not only had that same approach with us parents, but each of them had a way of connecting with my daughter. The excitement she gets on her face when I say "Time to go see Dr. Dina," is not the reaction I imagined a trip to a dentist would illicit from a 4yr old. But I guess dressing up like a super hero before oral surgery—another reason why Dr. Dina rocks—can help turn negative feelings into positive ones!

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr. Dina for my daughters lip/tongue tie. I’ve never had a doctor be so accommodating for our family. Dr. Dina and her staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with the procedure and provided us with all the information needed before hand and for post-op care. Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and her team are amazing! I was referred to the practice by my lactation consultant when my newborn son was diagnosed with a tongue and lip tie. I was able to get a consultation with Dr. Dina right away and she recommended he have a frenectomy. She took the time to thoroughly explain what the procedure would entail and answered all of my questions. Everyone in the office was so kind and I was able to get the procedure scheduled quickly. On the day of the frenectomy, the entire team once again took the time to explain every step, they made sure I was comfortable and they took excellent care of my baby. The entire process ended up being so much easier than I was anticipating and that was in large part due to the excellent care we received.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and all the staff are AMAZING. Starting with the receptionist all the way to leaving with the paperwork and billing, every single experience has been so positive and friendly. They treated both of my babies like they were family. I have a 2 week old that needed a lip and tongue tie release and a 1.5 year old that also will need a tongue tie released and they were so good with them. My son was nervous and shy and they did everything in their power to get him to warm up and feel comfortable. I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else now for my children. Thank you Dr. Dina and staff for treating my kids so good and for also understanding how I am feeling as a mom with a toddler and a newborn. I felt like I was cared for every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and the staff do an incredible job. Our daughter had her tongue tie and lip tie released (frenectomies) & the process was simple from start to finish. The office was perfect for kids, and the staff was extremely accommodating. Dr. Dina’s expert skill had the procedures completed excellently and in no time. Our daughter had next to no discomfort post-op, and she has shown noticeably improved breathing, sleeping, eating, range of motion, and even confidence. Fantastic experience: Our family loves Dr. Dina and the UPD team. Everyone there is unbelievably friendly, patient and exceptionally good at their jobs. The environment is very clean and also fun and stimulating for the kids. We always feel welcomed and like family when we come in and I can always tell that they genuinely care about my children. The receptionist is one of the friendliest women I’ve ever met, Dr. Dina always explains everything very well and is so loving and happy to take care of my kids and I know she cares about their well being. Aleisha has gone out of her way to take care of us and help us with so many things. UPD is filled with the absolute best humans and we look forward to continuing to come.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I certainly wish I had a dental office like this growing up. Everyone here is lovely. From the way they talk and treat the patients and how easy they make things for their parents! My daughter had a frenectomy done which was so quick and easy. It has been over a month now and my baby continues to show great progress/results from doing her procedure! My baby comes and goes to this place still smiling every visit. I definitely recommend other parents to take their children here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dina and her team were amazing! They are so welcoming and made my 3 kids feel at home. I love how they explain everything to me and showed me X-rays in detail. My 4 year old was having some anxiety and Dr. Dina was amazing with him! I am a teacher and think I’m good with calming strategies for kids, but Dr. Dina has me beat! Her staff was even entertaining my kids while I was checking out. My kids can’t wait to come back to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dr Dina is absolutely wonderful. She calmed our nerves as soon as we met her. Having a procedure done on our sweet baby caused me a lot of anxiety and she quickly sensed that and was empathic throughout the whole process. She is thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate!! Fantastic experience: We discovered Urbana Pediatric Dentistry when our youngest daughter needed someone who could evaluate and correct a tongue and lip tie. Dr Dina and her staff were so welcoming and supportive from the first visit. They take time to answer all your questions and break things down in understandable ways. Dr Dina is even responsive in off hours when pertinent needs/questions arise. The culture in the office is welcoming and inclusive. The office is clean, modern and high tech (but also feels homey). Urbana Pediatric Dentistry is the epitome of what all doctors and offices should be. As Dr Dina says, “We strive to treat each family like our own.” And they truly do. We are so glad to have found them and are transferring our oldest daughter here for care now, too.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Dina and her staff are wonderful! My daughter was seen for a lip and tongue tie. At our 1st appt Dr.Dina went over everything from what the procedure entails to recovery. She is so caring not only was she concerned about my daughter she also was checking in on me (mom). She sent us home with written information and instructions. We came back for the procedure at another date, so this gave us time to read the information and make the best decision for our daughter. We decied to moved forward with the release. The day of the procedure was quick. We were greated by her bright and caring staff and taken back quickly. The procedure was quick and handled very professionally. Before I knew it, it was done, and I was nursing my daughter. I felt that my daughter was taken care of very well and treated by Dr.Dian and her staff like she was one of their own. I would recommend Dr.Dina for a pediatric dentist

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr. Dina!!! She is soo good with the kids (kind, smiley, upbeat) and explains everything in words I can actually understand! The office has TVs on the CEILING so kids can watch while teeth are cleaned... makes it much easier than when tvs are on walls and the kids are constantly moving their heads!

Fantastic experience: We love Urbana Pediatric Dentistry! As a mom with young kids, I was incredibly nervous taking them for their first dental appointments, but UPD was the the perfect place to receive superb care for my kids, as well as incredible comfort for myself as a mom. My daughter LOVES her visits to UPD, and while my son is still warming up to the idea of dental care, the staff at Urbana Pediatric Dentistry has lovingly welcomed him and guided him through the process, all while taking his resistance in stride (which, in turn, means less of me feeling like I’m doing this whole Mom-thing wrong). I highly recommend Urbana Pediatric Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Dina by a lactation consultant for lip and tongue tie suspicions and after searching online was super thrilled with her even before our first appointment. At our appointment (and over the phone making the appointment) we were treated like instant family with care, time, and respect. The office is cute and you can tell Dr. Dina cares about both the parents and children she works with by how she outfits the spaces and asks questions making sure to care for mom and baby (for lip/tongue tie).

Fantastic experience: Quick to get in to see Dr. Dina. As soon as you walk in you’re welcomed by kind and professional staff at the front desk. When in the treatment area everyone is very knowledgeable, kind, caring and compassionate. We took our 3 week old for a tongue and lip tie, they talked us through the procedure ahead of time, kept off informed with the expectations and checked on his later the same day. Hands down best experience with a provider, switching our daughter here for her dental care.

Positive experience: Dr. Dina and the hygienist staff are great! The office is clean and friendly. However, the office staff made it challenging to work with the practice. They accepted my dental insurance (a well known and common policy) during our first visit. We had a routine 6 month check up scheduled and called the day before to let me know they no longer accepted my insurance since they were now considered an out-of-network provider and I could pay the difference of $139 for a routine cleaning that under my insurance cost $0. I asked when the change had been made and over a month ago. I asked why didn't they call me a month ago to let me know rather than less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to let me know so I could find another provider. Unorganized and now I am on a waiting list to find care elsewhere. Be careful and make sure they accept your insurance EACH and EVERY visit.

Fantastic experience: I CANNOT express how amazing this place is. The level of support, explanation of everything going on with your child, and the expertise of Dr. Dina and Team is beyond amazing. Everyone is extremely kind and supportive and wants to make sure you are getting the most informed and highest level of care. I wish all providers were like this place. I am so happy that we found this practice and I am so happy to see my child go here. Plus, the practice is absolutely adorably and gorgeously decorated, and has everything a new mom needs for a visit (bottle warmer, changing table, etc)
