Fantastic experience: I’m not one to leave reviews, but Dr. Choi and her staff are amazing. They’re professional, hospitable, and most importantly, they care. You can tell that Dr. Choi doesn’t focus on maximizing profits, but prioritizes the health and well being of your child. The front desk are the faces of her practice, and they’re a true reflection of her ethos. At the end of the day, everything is a business. Many people are good at what they do, but not everyone can do it with love and kindness. We’re all moms here seeking the best care for our children. 10/10 would recommend to all of my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I am sooo thankful that I found Dr. Choi for my boy. My 2-year-old boy fell down in kitchen and broke his front teeth on a Friday night. The teeth were into pieces and he was in huge pain. My husband and I were panic enough to calling around . Luckily, we were able to dial through Dr. Choi’s emergency line. After analyzing the pictures I sent her, she knows this teeth need to be removed and look into his adult teeth immediately. What surprised me was she was willing to help us in 30 mins. So Dr. Choi pulled her family member to clinic just to remove my sons teeth at 9pm on a Friday night! I don’t think any other pediatric dentist do that. Thanks to Dr. Choi, I don’t have to worry about him swallow broken teeth and suffer from huge pain. I would recommend Dr. Choi to everyone around me. Not only because my son loves her during the past visit , but also she has a big heart. She was willing to do emergent dental surgery for you little one when it’s necessary. My son Logan will be her life long client. I will strongly recommend such a responsible, professional and lovable doctor to all

Fantastic experience: Dr. Choi and all of her staff made us feel so welcome! They were extremely patient, gentle and kind to my autistic daughter, and even gave her a private room to help her feel more comfortable. The dental hygienist, Stephanie, was the first person to EVER successfully capture dental x-rays. It's obvious that they all care about their patients' comfort. Thanks for making a typically stressful experience very easy.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Choi and her team are amazing! The dental office is very clean, organized, kid friendly and so stylish. All COVID-19 protocols were followed precisely. I brought my 1 year old twin daughters here for their first dental visit. The girls were not not afraid at all, which I attribute to Dr. Choi and her team of professionals. They knew how to make my babies feel safe. Everything from their tone of voice and eye contact to showing the girls all the tools they would be using and letting them touch each one so they wouldn’t get scared when they were used to clean their teeth. The staff also executed some very nice touches. My daughters’ names were written on a glass door to welcome them. At departure they were gifted cute toothbrushes, balloons and little toys. We can’t wait to go back in 6 months!

The whole process is so thoughtfully laid out, from finding their names written on the door, to choosing a fluoride flavor off the menu, a balloon and prizes after their visit, and their choice of videos throughout. In addition to all these nice touches for kids, the staff and Dr. Choi are awesome! They take the time to explain clearly what the plan is and address any questions that arise. They are incredibly patient and engaging to ease any nerves your kid might have. Everything is sparkling clean with safety measures in place. We are so happy with Dr. Choi and her office, this is our recommendation for anyone searching for a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: Put it this way, I changed my entire health insurance setup just to get a Dental PPO that covered taking my kids here. Dr. Choi performed the double frenectomy on our second baby and we've gone to see her as our primary ever since. The staff is friendly, professional and exude sense of actually caring about the well-being, happiness, and disposition of your kids. My elder son, after getting a cleaning, x-ray, and exam to look at the two cavities he has, still said, "This is the best day. I love this dentist."

Fantastic experience: This place continues to amaze me. The best possible experience I could hope for. The office is beautiful, clean, new and bright. You can tell a lot of thought was put into every detail here from the two-sided fish tank, small toilet in the bathroom for toddlers, tv’s strategically placed above every chair so kids can keep their attention on the show and their head up, making cleanings easier. My kids love to see their names written on the door when they enter to welcome them. The staff and doctors are all amazing. They are each so pleasant and sweet. They explained each and every thing they do which shows how much they respect kids and their bodies. They asked them both if they had any issues and really made them feel like they had a say in their care. My kids love that they get to pick a prize when they leave. They can’t wait to go back! San Marino Pediatric Dentistry is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a good experience at San Marino Pediatric Dentistry. She had been scared of getting her teeth cleaned at a general dentist, so they suggested that she try a pediatric dentist. The staff were all so friendly, and they really tried to make her feel comfortable during her visit. She was allowed to pick a prize from the treasures before the exam began, her toothbrush, and toothpaste flavor. They also showed her the tools they were going to use ahead of time, and put her favorite tv show on the tv above the exam chair. She still didn’t like the cleaning part, but calmed down pretty quickly afterwards. I was able to talk to Dr. Song about brushing tips and ask questions as well. Overall, very good experience!

Love how they pay attention to my child's needs and do treatments based to mine and my child's comfortability. Thank you for making going to the dentist a positive experience for my boys!

Fantastic experience: This was my only child's very first appointment. I, myself, do not enjoy going to the dentist so even I was worried about the appointment. I was so impressed by the feel the moment we stepped in. We felt welcomed, the staff was friendly and helpful, we hardly waited and were brought right in by the very kind hygienist. With traumatic experiences with other places… I was looking for a place that understood kids and listened to their needs. The staff is so kind and accommodating. I never feel rushed but I am never left waiting either. It is a clean and well organized office and the dentists are truly the most gentle and expert! I wish I could be a patient here myself!

Dr. Choi was gentle and patient with my daughter, she took her time with us and answered every question I had. The whole staff was great and made us feel comfortable. The facility was nice very clean and modern. Overall, I will definitely be taking my daughter back and also want to take my younger 2 year old for a checkup.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever! I initially brought my baby son here for a tongue tie removal and was so impressed by their care and helpfulness. Dr. Choi spent so much time answering all of my questions and providing education about the procedure, recovery, and impact on breastfeeding, much of which I'd never heard before despite having met with multiple pediatricians and lactation consultants. I’ve since also brought my toddler here for cleanings and they were amazing at gently putting her at ease. The dentist can be a scary place for some kids but now my daughter genuinely looks forward to coming here because they provide such cheery positive vibes and the most gentle care.

Fantastic experience: We came to San Marino Pediatric Dentistry when my baby was 1 month old for a frenectomy due to tongue and lip tie. As an anxious first time parent, I am glad Dr Choi is very patient and I can tell that she truly cares for my baby. I like that there were follow up appointments after the frenectomy to make sure it doesn’t reattach. Fast forward to 1 year later, its my baby’s first check up. Everyone is so friendly and the appointment went well! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist for their baby.

Fantastic experience: When your kids come out of the dentist saying “mommy I like this place!” They’re definitely doing something right! My girls are used to dental and doctor’s offices however they’re never have come out of an office saying they liked the place. The staff and Dr Song was amazing! Everyone is so nice that you feel welcomed the minute you step in. The place is really clean and modern and everything was very detailed orientated that was catered to each little patient. So thankful to have found this little gem!

Fantastic experience: Very nice and professional people are working here. If your baby has any latching problems please don’t wait too long to take her to a dentist to evaluate her mouth for tongue and lip tie. My 2 and a half months baby has both (tongue and lip tie) and non of her pediatricians(we have seen several when we were with Kaiser) said anything about it, I had to do my research and find specialists. Fortunately we found San Marino Pediatric Dentistry. They scheduled us as soon as possible and the doctors are very helpful and explain everything in details and we could feel how caring they are and how they want to help us.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Jessica Choi from Dr. Christine Nguyen because my daughter was having difficulty breastfeeding. Dr. Nguyen helped provide OT and doing oral exercises in the beginning, however my daughter had a tight lip tie and we hoped that the oral exercises would help loosen her tie. We then had a consultation with Dr. Choi for a frenectomy and Dr. Nguyen was present during the consultation to guide and provide support. We proceeded with the frenectomy, Dr. Choi and Dr. Nguyen were both there to provide support post frenectomy (showed me how to do her stretches and how often). I could not have done this without them. I highly recommend Dr. Choi and Dr. Nguyen for your little one because they made me feel comfortable and at ease. Answered all my questions and was always there when I needed them! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr Choi by our regular Dentist. Son had broken front tooth from a bad fall. She specialized in children so office looked very children friendly with TV’s above the ceiling for the patients. Dr Choi was very kind to offer free X-ray for examination. We feel she is very honest and gave good advices and referrals to other specialists. Wonderful professional person.

Fantastic experience: The best Dentist experience ever! They really go above and beyond to make sure my son is comfortable. They have tv's at every patient chair, where the kids can watch their favorite shows! Plus, they have a really awesome fish tank with very beautiful fish inside, that my 3 year old absolutely loves! They also let him choose his character toothbrush. They have a really great selection. They also gave my son a balloon, to ease his nervousness, and he got to choose a toy after he was all done! The hygienist and dentist and all of the staff are very friendly, attentive, caring and helpful! I highly recommend this pediatric dentistry to all families with little ones. They will truly enjoy their time here and look forward to coming back!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have found Dr. Choi and the San Marino Dentistry team! I decided to go to this practice after my 4-year old son came home from preschool asking me to floss his teeth and telling me that he didn’t want to eat candy any more because Dr. Choi told his class about “Sugar Bug Doug” when she did a presentation at his preschool (ACGS). I don’t know how she did it, but she made my kid excited about taking care of his teeth! Her bedside manner is fantastic—gentle, assuring, playful with kids, while still garnering their respect so that they will listen to her advice and let her do her exam. I especially appreciate her proactive approach to oral hygiene and preventive care. She was able to thoroughly talk me through what might happen with the current crowding in my son’s teeth, how to take care of it, and what to be on the lookout for once his adult teeth come in. Their office staff is also super responsive, kind, and professional. It also helps that the office space is clean, beautiful, state of the art, and is thoughtfully designed for the pediatric set (my son so looks forward to the amazing fish tank aquarium!). It’s also worth mentioning that since San Marino Pediatric Dentistry opened up during the pandemic, they have thoughtfully incorporated safety precautions right into their practice (I’ve had no wait times, appointments are spaced out, they have multiple layers of protective masks/face shields, etc). You will be so glad to have Dr. Choi and her team on your child’s healthcare team!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience there. The staff was very nice, gentle and patient. My son don't like going to the dentist and he had a great time and enjoyed the visit. There is also a table with Legos in the lobby that my kid liked playing with while wait our turn.

All of the staff was so welcoming, the assistant talked to him about each step and demonstrated all of the instruments she would be using in such a playful way that made it so easy for him to feel comfortable! Fantastic experience: We love coming to this clean and welcoming office! My 6 yo was actually excited that his follow up appointment was coming up… he knew he’d get to pick from kid friendly flavors for his cleaning, watch octonauts, and pick out a prize at the end. The staff are sweet and patient with my wiggly little people. My one year old had his first cleaning and check up and they were so good with him. Dr Choi couldn’t be nicer. The 6 year old had a spot that looked vulnerable to a cavity. She gave him some positive motivation to take good care of his teeth and he was really receptive to it.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful visit with my 2 1/2 year old! They are so nice and well prepared. Even before the appointment they sent multiple reminders, which is nice for a busy parent. During our visit they went over everything that they were going to do with my kid and had her help out, and let her choose the flavors she wanted. The doctor is super nice and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. 1000% recommend!

As a sensitive two year old, new settings can be overwhelming . The staff was very warm, friendly, and patient with my toddler. The facility is beautiful and modern. Fantastic experience: It was my first time taking my almost two year old to the dentist. I was expecting for my husband to have to hold him down while screaming but it was completely the opposite experience ! We walked in and the first thing that he noticed was the aquarium which kept him distracted and busy. I noticed on the door it said “Welcome” and had my sons name on it along with other new patients names. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The hygienist, Desiree, noticed my son holding a paw patrol figurine and turned it on for him on their screen attached to the ceiling. She was so good at making him feel comfortable which helped us as parents to feel comfortable in this new experience. She explained everything so thoroughly and made it fun for my son. Dr. Choi was also really good and quick with my son who didn’t want to open up his mouth towards the end. Thank you for making this such a positive experience for a first time mom and a child’s first dentist visit!! Looking forward to our next appointments!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a tooth coming in that was bothering her. I left a message and received a call back within the hour and an appointment to go in shortly after. Dr. Choi is always friendly, patient and calm - so much so that my daughter wanted her tooth pulled out (even though it was not a guarantee the new tooth would feel better)! A few minutes and zero tears later we were done, in and out in thirty minutes. I never imagined taking a child to the dentist as being such a painless process for all and am grateful to this office for making our lives all a bit less stressful!!

Fantastic experience: It was my son’s first dentist appointment and, I was completely nervous about it. I was so scared how he would tolerate anyone in his mouth! Well anyways I am so extremely happy that we went to San Marino Pediatric Dentistry! My son loved it there so much he didn’t want to leave! Prea was the dental assistant working on my son and let me tell you this young lady is such a sweetheart and so educated on letting us know what to look out for. Not only that my son was completely in aw over her and she was so amazing doing his teeth cleaning!!! I could not be happier with the outcome! I would definitely recommend to any parent!

Fantastic experience: Our entire appointment was such a wonderful EXPERIENCE from start to finish! The kids were welcomed with open arms with fun touches like their names written on the door and prizes to look forward to after their appointments. I loved the dental assistants approach with the kids walking them through the steps with fun songs and a playful nature. The doctor was wonderful and we really had an awesome time full of smiles. The kids (2 and 4 years old) are truly looking forward to their next cleanings!

Positive experience: This place has great service and very clean. They have modern equipment that most of dental offices in SGV doesn't have. However, if you don't have PPO insurance, you pay through the nose. They charge for everything movement and those charges are very high. Not a place for the middle class and below.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Choi and her office staff were fantastic with our children. The office is immaculate and brand new. The staff were kind to our kids and made them feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Choi was very communicative and helpful in answering our questions regarding our kids' dental needs. We will definitely return to this office. It can be hard to find a dental office that children love and this is one of them for sure!

Fantastic experience: We recently moved over to San Marino Dentistry from another Pasadena pediatric dentist. I wanted a second opinion on my daughters tooth and also our previous dental office just never felt very inviting (particularly the reception staff) From the moment we walked into San Marino i just KNEW it was going to be a wonderful experience. It is clean and airy and the nurses and staff that greeted us were SO nice and sweet to my daughter who is 2 and gets hysterical at the dentist. Gave her little gifts and things to keep her distracted. Dr. Choi was so nice and her evaluation was thorough and her and the nurse basically sang along to make my daughter feel comfortable. My daughter didn't CRY AT ALL. In fact she was so happy afterwards and so proud. I am moving both my daughter and son over to Dr. Choi's practice and am SO relieved to have found them!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Choi and her staff are. They take their time to make sure the kids are comfortable by showing them each tool and what it's for. Dr Choi is excellent in showing you thinga to look for and be aware of and gives grrat suggestions on how to keep their teeth healthy without making you feel bad. My 2 girls love going to the dentist and always ask when they get to go again.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my orthodontist to SAn Marino Pediatric Dentistry. Otherwise I would not have known that they also accept adult patients. I had two wisdom teeth removed by Dr Steve Choi with only local anesthetic. Dr. Choi answered all my questions and gave me time to be ready before the procedure. The extractions were quick (about 5 minutes!) and painless. It has been a week since my procedure, the swelling went away completely. The staff are very friendly and the clinic is adorable and clean. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Coming from the dental field my expectations were extremely high, but Dr. Choi and her staff exceeded them in every way possible. The office was a calm and clean environment which made my 4 year old very comfortable. The assistant was gentle and accommodating during the cleaning and X-rays and Dr.Choi was knowledgeable and thorough when it came to her exam and treatment plan! I am happy to have found this gem of a dentist! If I could give more then 5 stars I would. You guys are awesome!

Fantastic experience: We recently went back for the second time only, but have nothing but good things to say about our experiences so far. Staff were extremely accommodating and patient with my kids. My boys especially enjoyed the fish tank, as well as the prizes at the end!
