Fantastic experience: Gus and his family is the best dental experience I have ever had!

Fantastic experience: Out of all the dentists i have ever been to, this is by far the best one!! They have taken so good care of me!!! I thank you guys soooo much. The place feels like home. They made me feel so comfortable with my transition to dentures. I love it!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience today. They really put me at ease as I typically get nervous at the Dentist office, but they were kind. And they a portion of the office that had some fun decor on it, so I could look at that while I waited for the Doctor to see me.

Negative experience: I’d gone in for some routine work with one of the Borgmeyer brothers and was given a few injections for numbing. The problem is, he didn’t wait until the topical gel had numbed me before sticking the needles in my gums and injecting me with numbing. I was squealing and in such pain and he didn’t care and told me that was normal. Let me tell you, it is not! I went to another dentist and had to get a root canal and filling and I didn’t feel a thing because I was properly numbed. Borgmeyer carelessly stuck those huge needles into my gums with no regard to the pain it causes. All around horrible experience!

Positive experience: In general, I have had a very good experience with them. Especially the doctor, very kind and caring. But recently my front tooth had chipped and they filled it and after couple of weeks it fell apart and I went back and they redid it and after couple of weeks it fell apart again so I called again and made another appointment but when I showed up the front desk person was like "your appointment was at 8 am" and I was like: no we had it at 11am and then she changes the story and was like: "our phone call dropped or something so we could not confirm your appointment" and I am like, no we properly concluded the call and said good bye and she is like: "not with my standards" and I am like: :D (They have my number, they have called me before but she apparently went with 8am knowing that our call dropped/not concluded with her standards without informing me) I love them, but a simply apology, for the fact that I have taken time off from my work for the 3rd time to show up for one filling, would have been nice instead of contradictory stories.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to St. Louis from Chicago and numerous people recommended Borgmeyer Dental. After becoming a patient it is evident why so many people mentioned the pratice. It offers professional care and puts patients first. Every single hygenist I've encountered has been friendly and provided a thorough cleaning. I always leave with a huge smile because my teeth are clean, but also because I have recieved exceptional services from some fanstic dentists. I would highly recommend you check it out. One of the best dental experiences across the multiple cities I have lived to date.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is very kind and helpful, and they take wonderful care of my teeth!

Positive experience: Last year visited their office couple of times. While my teeth problems were generally solved, the attitude towards patients deserves better. During my second visit, the doctor did very painful anesthesia. I almost cried. I told him immediately that I had never before in my life experienced such a painful injection, but the doctor told me that it should be like that. During next month I could not open my mouth properly because of the post-injection pain in my mandibular. I think that something went wrong. I do not want to return back here. Also, I'm not sure how hygenically it is to have so many toys inside medical cabinet.

Fantastic experience: Got a lot of work done here last year and they did an awesome job, truly. Dentist is straight forward, comfortable environment, educational as well. Not that I was a fan before, but kinda complicated my relationship with all things starwars though. IYKYK

Fantastic experience: It took me such a long time to find a dentist I was comfortable going to. I was terrified of even getting my teeth cleaned until we found Borgmeyer. All the staff is caring, patient, and compassionate - I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Positive experience: Very disappointed as i did deeply loved this small dental office. They canceled my families appointment in December 2023 citing they no longer accepted met life insurance. I called today to see if they accept it now and turns out they never stopped accepting MetLife and my family and i could have made our appts in December. No one called or is tracking their MetLife patients they serviced. They could have called but that's ok i called and was happy to get in to get my overdue cleaning, usually dentist offices also send reminders that cleanings are due but not this office. Next available is months out and again told "we accept MetLife today but not sure when we are out of network." Wish we could have kept our December 2023 appointment but we will just rehome our dental services.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this office since 2016. I do not want to go to any other dentist. A nice, friendly, family environment. They are careful to limit the pain as much as possible. I had 8 teeth pulled in one sitting for dentures it was fairly pain free. I would highly recommend Borgmeyer Dental.

Fantastic experience: Nothing but positive to say about the Dr's and all the hygienist, FANTASTIC manners, and time spent with the patient. Well worth the drive as we live in St Charles County. Entire family goes here and would not go anywhere else. 10 out of 10

Negative experience: Great place to go for a regular cleaning, but I've lost all trust outside of that. Went in for a routine cleaning and complained about a molar hurting pretty bad with cold fluids. They x-rayed and said nothing is wrong and ignored the fact that I had some very bad pain there for quite some time. Five weeks later while on vacation, come to find out it was a fractured tooth. Got it extracted a few states away. Then 3 months later I start getting pain so I came back to Borgmeyer, and after 7-8 jabs with the needle I was numbed. "I think there might be fragments left from the extraction, and we'll need to  drill into your gums and clean out pieces of the tooth that was left there I think". Okay, let's get this done. Was told it will feel much better by the evening. Was given no instructions on how to care for it. I had to keep asking questions and it just seemed like I was bothering them. Was told by the assistant that drinking out of straws is fine and dry socket would not be a problem. But was given no directions or antibiotics. This all doesn't seem right. I was able to get some gauze from the assistant after asking a few times. Three days later my neck and jaw was massively swollen and the pain became ten times worse. Five days after, I went to an oral surgeon and had the infection removed, and given antibiotics. I will never ever go to this dentist office again. I am baffled at how good the reviews are.

Negative experience: Several months after a filling that I got here, I ended up having to get a root canal on the same tooth. The endodontist told me Borgmeyer had drilled to close to my root and that the soft tissue between my root and the filling died resulting in an infection. When I mentioned this to Borgmeyer's office staff, there was no sorry or remorse, only a request for payment. So now I'm out $1000 for a root canal and a crown because they messed up a filling. I have relatives that still go here and have never had a bad experience, but I will never go back. Borgmeyer Dental has lost my trust.

Fantastic experience: Borgmeyer Dental has treated me so well and given me great care. I had Elise as a hygienist and she was professional, kind, and gave me a great cleaning. Highly recommend both Elise and Borgmeyer Dental!

My 3 year old had his first cleaning and couldn’t have been more happy. Doctors and hygienists make it a really fun experience for kids and adults. I highly recommend this family atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had an excellent experience here over the years. The staff is very personable and friendly, the type of place that remembers the last conversation you had with them. Some dental offices can feel sterile and cold, but this place has a warm mom & pop vibe. I’m not a huge fan of having dental work done so this type of setting really puts me at ease compared to other practices I had frequented in the past that provided an overall uncomfortable experience. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: by far this is my favorite dentist office i’ve been to. i love the staff and it’s the best decorated dental office. every room has its own theme. my fave is the star wars as i’m a fan. overall friendly staff and easy to talk to never leave in pain.

Fantastic experience: I'm usually terrified of going to the dentist, but the staff here put you at ease. I've had cleanings, fillings, extractions and crowns performed here, and all procedures lasted less than an hour.

Positive experience: Dr Sam is still one of the best. His hygienist- not so.much. I've never felt so humiliated and embarrassed. You don't whisper about patients- EVER! I was prepared to pay my future visit in full today BEFORE INSURANCE. I got so upset, ran out and had to pull over. Don't assume anything.

Fantastic experience: I had some chipped teeth fixed. The chips were in front so, I was worried about how they would look. With in 30 minutes my teeth were fixed and the repairs are invisible.

Fantastic experience: I have been asked to leave more dentist offices than you have probably been to in your life. I expressed my deepest fears to friends and neighbors who agreed I would be fine at Borgmeyer. I don't get Novocain for cleanings and fillings. I just hold my hand up when I need a break. From the front desk to the last chair in the back, I was treated with respect and my fears were acknowledged. I used to shake, get sick to my stomach when looking at the calendar knowing an appointment was on the calendar. I go next Monday and here's hoping it's just a cleaning. It was just a cleaning but I had no worries. I wanted an upper denture realignment and because of other dental issues, Dr Sam did what he could and then suggested I continue with the semi liner and said there was no need to waste the $400. I really appreciated that. Thanks Dr. Sam

I'm going to still pay my bill now that I'm employed again , I will make an appointment somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: Borgmeyer dental has a great staff and exceptional Dr's. My special needs son was in need of dental care. They gave me the treatment plan. I was expecting to be told that he'd need more extensive treatment considering his missing teeth and gum disease. It was a nice surprise to have a DDS just talk about immediate needs. Not starting with we need to replace teeth with bridges and crowns soon. Which I know we'll do in the future. Thank you Dr Borgmeyer.

Positive experience: They are absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced, and good at what they do, but will not be able to fit you in for a couple weeks for things like cracked fillings or emergencies, and evening appointments for cleanings are booked weeks out. They are very popular.

Fantastic experience: Beware of hidden fees and poor workmanship. My insured routine cleaning appointment turned into what they called a deep cleaning. Result was molar and 2 cosmetic fillings pulled with metal hook along with a 750 dollar bill for their work not being covered through private Anthem policy. Still can't chew with left side of mouth. I miss Doc Senior, Doc Jr is running a revised shop now.

Positive experience: I moved away from the city and still go here because I like it so much. As someone with 4 root canals and 3 turned implants they have the specialists to be able to maintain care for my unique situation. I also used their clear correct orthodontic services after letting my retainer use lag after many years. Easy to interface with, only complication is billing which is complicated anywhere. Hard to tell what insurance covered or not.

Fantastic experience: I’m one that hates going to the dentist and have a fear. However, since I have been coming here the fear has honestly went away because I know I’m in good hands. The staff there is very professional, welcoming, and really cares about their parents.
