Fantastic experience: Best Dentist I’ve ever had! Just had a crown replaced and I really appreciate how my dentist (Dr Cutrona) explained everything being done. Everyone from Reception to hygienists annd dental staff are professional and a pleasure to work with. I couldn’t ask for a better experience or more satisfactory outcome, the cost was reasonable and ended up under estimate. I’m happy to highly recommend Plaza Dental Center.

Fantastic experience: Got me in quickly to repair a chipped tooth. I was scheduled for a cleaning the following Monday because of a cancellation but after my visit, the staff cancelled it because they gave me a referral to have to deep cleaning first. I love this place. JT

As a retired army combat service connected disabled veteran I’ve had dental care around the world and I can tell you that this is the best place for veterans. Highly recommend recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been avoiding the dentist for years and finally screwed up the courage to go and see one. Plaza Dental created a genuinely comfortable environment with no shame or judgment. My exam was done quickly, professionally, and kindly. While it was quick, the exam wasn’t rushed, and the dentist was completely present with me, not hurrying to finish; he took the time answer my questions and explain my X-rays to me, and make sure I understood everything. I was also talked through what would happen on my follow-up visit and what my insurance would and wouldn’t cover, including how much I could expect to pay out-of-pocket. I 100% recommend this practice to anyone anxious about their dental health, as they made me feel like I was in excellent hands.

Negative experience: They cancelled on me a month before my appointment and then told me the next time they could get me in was not until 8 months after that!! I made the appointment anyways and then I cancelled it after finding a new dentist months ago- they just charged me $50 for “not cancelling”….. go at your own risk.

Fantastic experience: Staff was very nice. Dr Joe explained my X-rays and what I needed to have done. I felt very comfortable going there.

Negative experience: The prices for any treatment(s) are through the roof!!!!They will charge you a $50 cancellation fee and you will never know until you call in for something. Then they say to you, oh yea by the way you have a balance of $50 for a no show. Don't know where that was mentioned in the ton of paperwork you have to complete. They should give you a copy of that clause but fail to do so. The Dentists are about getting you in and out like an assembly line. They are NOT personable nor relatable. Consultations and x-rays are NOT free like I found out at other locations but a cleaning is free on your next visit that they will hound you to schedule before you leave the office. I'm sure this tactic is to motivate cancellation fees. They WILL NOT do a cleaning on the first visit. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL I BE GOING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office I have ever been to. I have seen many different dentist in my many years of travel. I can’t say enough about them. The doctor is probably the most caring dentist I have met. He wants to make sure that you and your family are always taken care of. I have an autistic son and he made accommodation so that my son could be close by. He is always very thoughtful. The dental assistant is also great, I will miss going here. I am moving out of state.

Negative experience: Cancelled over the phone months before my appointment because I could no longer make it but they did not cancel on their end and they did not make a note of the phone call. Charged me a no show fee of $50, saying that there wasn’t documentation of cancellation (text, voicemail).

Negative experience: If you can actually get in, the staff's lovely. But for every appointment I've had, they cancel about a month before and make you call to reschedule. This time, the reschedule (for an appointment I made 6 months ago) is for another 10 months out. You're better off finding a dentist who can actually honor appointments. Update: In response to this honest review describing my experience, Plaza Dental canceled my rescheduled appointment. I find that both petty and unprofessional.

Negative experience: BEWARE and STAY AWAY!!! Among the tons of paperwork they make you sign, there will be one that says they will charge you a cancellation fee. This is their front for a racketeering business. I had to cancel a cleaning appointment due to a work conflict. I sent the cancellation through via text when they sent through the first appointment reminder well within the 24hr window, unbeknownst to me, their automated text system did not register this cancellation and I get sent a $50 bill. I called the practice to explain I had cancelled via text, they say they can't see it on their system and flat out accused me of lying. I refuse to pay out of principle and they have sent me another bill, this time adding a $10 late payment fee. My husband is a physician and we have many friends in the medical profession, and they are shocked by this. I am standing my ground and for every bill they send, I will post another review in protest.

Fantastic experience: After only one meeting, I’m certain that Dr. Cutrona is the nicest, most communicative, and considerate dentist I’ve ever had. Also, an excellent assistant in Becky. I look forward to receiving dental care at Plaza Dental in the future.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional we keep getting rescheduled for our appointments went in for a visit and the lady tried to tell me what was wrong with my mouth before even looking in my mouth we exchanged words she went and got the Dentist I don't know what she told him but after he came in she wanted me to leave out the BACK DOOR WITHOUT anyone seeing me then today I get a letter they have dismissed me from their Practice so What I was leaving anyway my Family and I deserve A Better Dentist anyway if you don't want to see Black People Just Say That don't treat them Bad at the end of the Day everyone's BLOOD IS THE SAME (COLOR RED) by the way I have very GOOD INSURANCE so I can go anywhere THANK YOU FOR DISMISSING Me and my Family from your Practice

Joseph Cutrona is the straight coolest dentist dude and I appreciate his honesty and let's get it done attitude. I love the whole staff and if I ever have kids they are going there too. They always hook you up with the free floss, toothbrushes or those listerine packs. Sharon that works there is awesome too

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for 30 plus years when Dr. Gary Green had the office when it was actually on Euclid. I love the staff. They are so accommodating, warm and professional. I was at the office Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Although Sharon is retired, she was my hygienist for the day, and it was super to see her.

Negative experience: I have gone and my son, neither of us got the service we booked for instead we got billed for lots of X rays and a referral to s specialists. When we saw the specialists he said our care was basic and no need for speciality care!‍♀️

Negative experience: They mailed an invoice for a balance due after what my insurance covered, which I had no idea about because I moved. They sent it to collections. When I called to inquire about it, they said their mail was returned to them by the post office. I asked why they didn't reach out to me. They said they usually try to email it but they didn't have an email on file. Why I wasn't contacted by phone? Not sure. I tried to resolve it with them but was told I needed to call the collections company. Now this is on my credit report when it could've been easily resolved with a phone call. Upon reading other reviews online, looks like others have had similar experiences. Terrible business model. They love to send invoices to collections. Staff is VERY unprofessional. Also, good luck scheduling an appointment. They rarely pick up their phone and will turn on their after-hours voicemail during normal business hours.

Positive experience: Dr. Corona awesome as always, Beth friendly, helpful and very nice always, but this day, the little fat face girl at the counter seemed to have an attitude. We were 10 or 11 minutes late and she said I have to see if the doctor will still see you. I said that fine, then we’ll just have to be rescheduled. She said with attitude. no we’re not going to reschedule you if they can’t see you because he’s missed appointments before. I said well you can’t control being sick. She said again with attitude, well we can’t………. (something, something because at this point I was tryi f to ignore her. At the very end of it, I said yeah I know) as I was walking to my seat, but then Beth came up and called me to go back. I never had that kind of service from the desk before. I should have dealt with the other girl. 2/25/23 The experience I had that particular day iwith the girl at the front desk was on Jan. 24th 2023. On the 28th I received a letter from Plaza Dental letting me know they could no longer serve as my dental office because I body shamed one of their front desk staff. That was definitely not my intention and I was not even familiar with body shaming. I merely wanted to describe to others the person that spoke to me like that so they would be aware.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional staff! Joe(Dr. Corona) is AWESOME; he explains everything step-by-step. The atmosphere is soothing, I actually fell asleep during my procedure. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient of Plaza Dental since I was a child (well over 30 years and longer than any of the current staff) and would’ve never imagined going anywhere else until today. I was away for work for almost 4 months and returned to 2 bills from them and a letter from a collection agency regarding the bill. Confused by it all I called this morning to get clarification and to rectify the situation. I spoke with Becky who basically said well we didn’t know that you were gone and my response was and I didn’t know that I would receive a bill. I asked why wasn’t the balance presented when I was there in September if it was from August and she responded it’s actually from April and we had no way of knowing that your insurance wouldn’t cover the entire bill until after your visit in September (checked my insurance claims and they didn’t submit the April bill until after my visit in September and it was processed the next day so of course you had no way of knowing but had you submitted it in April or sooner than September we wouldn’t be here). She then went on to say that they emailed me regarding the bill as well. I’ve NEVER received an email from Plaza Dental. I asked her to verify the email address on file and they had it spelled incorrectly (my email address is my name by the way) so again error on their part. I simply wanted to stop the collection, pay the bill, and move on and one would think that with all of the aforementioned that this would be an easy fix but instead of Becky being apologetic and taking ownership for their mistakes she was very condescending and dismissive telling me to take it up with the collection agency. It was extremely hurtful to be treated this way especially after patronizing this office for so long, my parents and grandparents were all patients of Plaza Dental and I’ve referred NUMEROUS people to the office. It’s very unfortunate that this once great place is being ruined by nasty attitudes and bad billing practices. I hate that I now have to find a new dentist but I refuse to continue to patronize a place where I’ve been made to feel as if I don’t matter.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the good doctor since 2012 and nothing but great things with him, along with the staff. I am Ohio State fan and he is Michigan, but it works out.

Fantastic experience: I've always had trouble with my teeth from as far back as I can remember, and after going through 3 other dentists, two failed root canals, and a bunch of cavities, I found Plaza Dental and... OMG the difference between those other places and Plaza is insane. Dr. Cutrona and his staff are legitimate, professional, and very, very good at what they do. He was able to repair a REALLY bad cavity that we all thought would need a root canal with only a crown and was able to refer me to an endodontist when the root canal that was done by my previous dentist / endodontist was infected. It was able to be repaired without replacing the crown. Pricing is very comparable to the other dentists I've gone to, even without insurance. If you're like me and have neglected going to the dentist for years, this place is probably the one you want.
