Negative experience: 0 starz ! I would never go back i love been going to the dentist since i was a kid im now 31 and very disappointed! They are so unprofessional!

Negative experience: Came in with appointment for 2 extractions. At 1hr 40 mins after scheduled appointment I am still waiting for dentist. Ridiculous!

Positive experience: The place Itself looks like a pretty clean environment. However, the staff is a bit rude and or ignorant because when I get at my appointment earlier like 15 minutes Which was 1 pm People coming in the door after me getting called back but it takes them forever to call me back I didn't get out of there until like 2:43pm when my appointment was at 1pm. I just know to be looking for another dentist here soon. I can't do business with rude people. It's sad that you can't do business with your own kind SMH I just laugh at these people's just to think about how karma works

Negative experience: I sat there for 2pm apt and didn’t get seen till 4pm. Dentist didn’t do anything besides look for 5 mins and take pictures . Why would yall make somebody sit for 2hrs with a scheduled apt just to look for 5 mins ? I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last dentist available !

Negative experience: Waited over an hour and was never even taken back to be seen. I arrived 10 minutes early and had all paperwork. Every time I asked for an update I couldn't hear the answer because the music was so loud and the receptionist was rude.

Negative experience: I recently visited Pinelawn Dental clinic based on a strong recommendation from a close friend. We scheduled an appointment a week in advance, which I found not reasonable for an emergency situation. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the front desk staff, who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and the care provided by the staff was commendable. However, my husband experienced significant discomfort during his procedure, which involved the extraction of two teeth. The dentist encountered difficulties, and despite receiving local anesthesia, my husband felt considerable pain throughout the process. He described being acutely aware of every sensation associated with the procedure. After the extraction, my husband continued to experience pain. We were prescribed antibiotics and 800 mg Motrin for pain management, which was sent to our pharmacy. However, after waiting for an hour at the pharmacy, we discovered that the prescription had not been processed. Upon contacting the dental office, we learned that prescriptions are only sent out twice a day. This was particularly frustrating, as my husband was in severe pain and required immediate relief. Overall, while I appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the staff, the delay in prescription processing was disappointing and impacted our experience. This is the primary reason I rated the clinic a three out of five.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a deep cleaning and my hygienist Victoria was awesome and very professional and courtesy and knowledgeable she has the best hands in the dental business.

Fantastic experience: I was having issues with getting my prior authorization approved. I called Pine Lawn so much and whenever I spoke with Maddie she was exceptional. Definition of above and beyond. Notated my chart and even when I called back she could repeat to me what she put in my chart. Even gave me a call back the day before Thanksgiving to let me know what step we were at now. I really appreciate her because she calmed me when I was upset just by listening and using her words in a polite and empathetic tone.

Fantastic experience: I received an explanation of benefits from my Insurance company showing an outstanding balance to be paid by me to Pine Lawn Dental so I called the billing department and spoke with an exceptional young lady, Keyona! She not only tentatively listened to my problem but exuded patience throughout the conversation. I told her I was going to call the insurance company to get a reason for them not paying the bill BUT she immediately stated that she would be more than happy to handle that. I was pleasantly surprised to know some people still do their job but this young lady actually went beyond! She called me back and filled me in on her conversation with my insurance company and assured me that the balance would be handled. She also told me my reps name at the company and more importantly took some financial stress off of me! Pine Lawn Dental is a great addition to this community and I appreciate how they treat me and provide knowledge and services to help me keep my smile bright and right! Highly recommended!!!! Fantastic experience: When i tell you l had given the run around, with different dental offices taking my money with exray, an no results, baby l made an appointment for an emergency extraction, and got an appointment a few days later, my mouth was hurting soooo bad, l thought my appointment was for 10:30, get there to find out it was at 11:30, l was like OMG!!!, long story short, Ms. Sharon (the office manager, got me right in, she was so sweet, polite, and VERY professional. All the staff were great, Kim on exrays, the Dr. Shades an his assistant, forgot her name, but was very very professional. I did t even feel him pull my tooth, l was like your done, he said all done. I just was so pleased over all. Thank you'll so very much. I will return for my new teeth.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. Pine Lawn Dental has been one of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. Appointments are booked months out, and after waiting all that time, you’re told to come back next year for the same services you originally called about. The front staff is unorganized, dismissive, and lacks professionalism. It’s sad to see a dental office located in a vulnerable community taking advantage of patients instead of helping them. The way appointments are handled and how billing is done raises serious concerns — it feels like insurance misuse, and the community deserves better. We deserve dental care that values people, not profits.

Negative experience: Clean. Usually moves fast but the receptionist you see when you first walk in “kera or Kierra “ is VERY unprofessional!! She barely can sit down at the front desk without CONSTANTLY getting up to show other employees things unwork related on her phone! Food comes through the door and she is the first person to get up and go get a plate rather it’s people at the desk waiting or not!!! PLEASE hire a professional new receptionist ‼️‼️

Negative experience: Had an appointment booked 3 months in advanced, just to leave work early and find out I cannot be seen due to an insurance issue that they did not care to communicate with when I booked the appointment so I have to find somewhere else to go, after I rushed off work ! They also didn't show any compassion about my time like it’s not worth anything! I wouldn’t even recommend you use this dentist office even if you stayed right across the stress or even in the neighborhood from it !!

Negative experience: They are bad about approving your medication..they'll be having you wait all day to get your medication after a tooth extraction and or root canal..you'll be in pain once that medication wear off and they'll have you waiting all day for them approve your prescription..not cool at all

Negative experience: This place not recommended i had a tooth in the back that needed a cavity filling , the dentist guy cleaned it out then just left out of the room ,then he had some heavy set woman that has thick dreadlocks with glasses she has a horrible attitude, the dentist had her fill my filling she was very rude to me saying turn your head this way huffing and puffing saying things under her breath,it was a horrible experience i asked her about implants she said its depending on if you have bone density with a attitude , and then i forgot to mention she shaved my tooth down very low the back tooth that helps me chew .

Negative experience: Don't go there. Almost a year to get an uper denture and i haven'tgot it right yet. I'm here today for the third attempt to do it right. Waiting too be seen average an hour or more it is big disappointment place.

Negative experience: Mixed emotions about this place. I’m pregnant and Got my tooth pulled a month ago and felt the entire process. Was crying in pain but of course they didn’t care and just kept going. I went back for fillings and they didn’t smooth them out right so now I have some sharp edges brushing my tongue. Not to mention the entire side of my face was numb for 4 hours. I don’t understand why they didn’t numb me that much for the tooth pulling lol. Smh I dont know if I should go back for them to fix the fillings or see a different dentist.

Negative experience: DON'T GO HERE!!!! I took my friend here for a simple dental teeth cleaning but some black guy comes out harassing me, acting as if he owns the place, asking me to move my vehicle because I'm parked in a handicap spot. I sd sir I have a handicap placement card. I also told him that my friend had a stroke and therefore cannot barely walk and i have the handicap plaque but its in my other vehicle...He sd I don't care move. He left went back inside and came out again and asked me to move. Then he has my friend to stop his appointment just to come out to ask me to move...knowing he can barley walk. I would NOT EVER REFER A DOG HERE FOR TREATMENT! They know that they are the only ones in the area to service low income patients and therefore, they take Complete Advantage of it! They need to be OUT OF BUSINESS PERMANENTLY! I'm contacting Medicare and medicaid about there suspicious medical billing practices since they want to Harrass People!

Negative experience: Rude, ignorant and disrespectful! This is a horrible dental office, the majority of the people working are disrespectful and unhelpful to elderly people. One young lady in particular had a horrible disposition! Before touching a patient, ask for permission or say what you are about to do. Then perform hand hygiene. It’s rude to attempt to touch someone and then react in a negative manner when they do not want to be touched. Education regarding customer service should be addressed ASAP.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth that was broken down to the gum and dr.Travis made it quick and easy getting it out it took him about 5mins to get the job done. That was the best tooth extraction experience I ever had

Negative experience: Someone told me to get up very early and go here for tooth pain. I did just that. I was the first person the security guard gave a number to. He acted like he owned the place. He was very aggressive and hostile but none the less I got my Number and waited. When I was seen they did an X-ray and told me to wait for the dentist. I was then quoted $2,000 for a root canal and crown. They told me my insurance only covered 200 something dollars. They told me they’d at least write a script for Motrin and amoxicillin. When I went to the pharmacy they only had the Motrin. I wasted my entire morning by getting up at 6am to be seen here only to be turned away if I didn’t pay 2k! Which I didn’t have 2k for the dentist. This place doesn’t help the community like they say. This place is all About the money. Don’t waste your time here. Go some where else that will actually help you!

Fantastic experience: I come in as an Emergency with root canal pain and also prior issues like borello orthotics leaving chipped, glue on my teeth from my braces and refusing to clean them off due to canceling my contract. The dentist lifted a weight off my shoulder and helped me regain what I felt was lost in my smile by removing it after almost 3 years. Thanking God.

Negative experience: This place literally sucks. For every appointment that was made between me,my bf, and my brother took 3/4 hours AFTER the appointment to be seen. This is an all day event. If ur appointment is at 9:30 u wont be seen till 11:30/12 wont leave till maybe 1. It’s constantly slow they dont care they will have 50 people jn the room appointments ranging from 8/9/10-1pm and still move slow. Terrible place honestly they need to learn when its a APPOINTMENT the patient should be seen at the appointment time. This is every day and time. You have been warned.

Positive experience: The only reason I'm giving 3stars, is bcuz Dr. Yokely although nice I don't think he's disconnected when it comes to Black Ppl!! Went there & I needed all my teeth pulled. I was asked did I want everything done the same day. Yes ! Dr. Y. Could've started pulling instead he waited until my Temps came in, I honestly didn't know I had 17 teeth to be pulled but I did. I asked for 15/20 Hydrocodone & Antibiotics. I was given Tylenol 3 & No Antibiotics!! It's well known that I'm allergic to Tylenol 3s. Went back bcuz the teeth didn't fit the gums made me look like a gorilla, that's how thick the gums are. I still h

Negative experience: Been waiting for 3 Hours to be seen. Ruined my entire day at a four hour pointless appointment. If you want you're time wasted come here. Trash dentist's!! If you have insurance or even if you don't I wouldn't come here. Look for a better dentist than this one!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. Everyone I dealt with was so sweet and heartfelt as a medical office should be. They enjoy what they are doing and if they’re not, you can’t tell. I needed some work urgently done and they got it done. Even got me a prior authorization and I was so happy and blessed to be informed of the new price I’d have to pay. It’s also a lot of black girl magic going on!!!

Fantastic experience: Fast and efficient had a appointment at 4:00 pm was finished with everything by 4:55 also booked my next appointment while I was there being serviced. Negative experience: Dropped someone off for an 8.30am appointment. We arrived at 8:15am. The security guard comes out to the car with a clipboard to take name and appointment time. The guard then says we open at 8:30am but we have a staff meeting going on right now and will open whenever that ends. WHAT?! To management: You should never allow back office business to interfere with serving your customers. You should look into paying the staff to come in an hour prior to opening so that you can hold your meetings. thank you!

Fantastic experience: I decided to give Pine Lawn Dental a five star rating, because when I had went there on 7/10/24 for the first time within living here in Missouri, for five year's now an I had last saw a dentist is when I was living in Michigan. Well all of the receptionist, and dental hygienist as well as Dr. Travis were all very pleasant, and they were very great when it had came to them attending to my needs, especially with me having very severe anxiety problems when it comes to seeing a dentist. And providing me, with the best care ever when I originally went there to see about getting a broken tooth, extracted in which instead of Dr. Travis extracting it he had asked me, if I have been having any pain or anything with my tooth, and I had told him no! So that is when he told me, that he was going to give me, a filling as well as numb it, and have a cap put over it. Also in which I thought that it was going to be a silver or gold cap, but I was actually surprised by the new technology that they have since the cap is actually the same color as all of my other teeth being white. I also, would like to say that I have definitely found a new dentist that I will be continuing to go there for a while, and I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Pine Lawn Dental since they are the best!

Fantastic experience: Listen, 5 stars doesn’t do my visit justice. Every single person I encountered from reception, to X-rays, to the hygienist, the dr and several others was an absolute DELIGHT. They were patient and nice and talked me through my situation and helped me figure out all the options available to me. I literally cried at the counter from all the kindness, because I had left 3 others places before coming here and they were horrible experiences. I expected and planned to be in the waiting room all day, but it only took a couple hours. I won’t ever spend my money anywhere else.

Pine Lawn Dental deserves better: not only have they perfected dental care, they’ve improved my smile and life—they’ve warmly welcomed me into their “No Cavity Club” (a milestone achievement for a candyholic such as myself), and was even more excited than I was to reward me with a prize! I adore the staff at this place: from the friendly front desk workers to the driven dental hygienists to the passionate doctors. Never would I EVER have imagined that I would be a patient who enjoys their dentist visits. But now, thanks to Pine Lawn Dental, I look forward to my next appointment! Negative experience: This "dental office" has absolutely not only ruined most of not all at this point every single tooth in my mouth, aside from the 7 that were pulled at one time. My teeth were grinded down to the denton exposing nerves and awful pain. I would not recommend ANYONE to step foot in their doors unless you want a mouth full of dentures. Horrible.

Fantastic experience: I went in Friday for a chipped tooth with Dr Landon and it was the best experience. I walked in and was greeted by Tiffany in which I explained what happened and she was awesome along with the rest of the staff. I ended up have to get a root canal and crown in which a great treatment plan was introduced in order to be affordable to pay for my insurance out of pocket expense. They were able to do my root canal and crown in the same day. Never knew it was possible so that’s was an A++. Technology is so new these days. Overall experience was the best and I’m definitely happy with my new smile! Thanks Pine Lawn Dental I will definitely recommend you all to a lot of friends and coworkers.

Negative experience: The dental hygienist was awful she didn't clean my teeth the way a hygienist is supposed to. She scraped the calculus from my gum line, she didn't get all of the plaque off of my teeth, she didn't give me the pink chewable to recognize where the plaque is located, and she didn't thoroughly floss my gum line. Don't allow the heavy set white woman hygienist to assist you, she doesn't know what she is doing. I don't know how she passed dental school.

From the booking… to the clean environment upon entry… the dental work done… to the receptionist in the front with scheduling my next visit was all pleasant Care is professional (not trying to up sell me additional services nor pressure to have multiple procedures done in one setting

Negative experience: This dental office is unprofessional they told me on the phone my appointment was at 2 and scheduled me at 4 in the the system I asked them did I need to come back at 4 ,I asked them twice these people had me waiting in that place for 2 hours I have never been so angry in a dentist office til I came here I don’t know why this place has 4 stars and the dentist didn’t even sign my prescription so I to wait for them to send it again to Walgreens I had to keep calling just for them to do that

Negative experience: I called in they told me when to get there. I showed up. 2 days in a row and still couldn't get in. I'm disabled and in a lot of pain. Still couldn't not get help. Do not waste your time be going here. Fine somewhere to get real help.

Fantastic experience: I must say that this place will make you enjoy coming to see the dentist. Everyone and I mean everyone is very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is awesome, they have nice music playing. And the Dentist Dr London and his assistant Cam were totally awesome. The office is clean and well organized. They get all 5 stars from me. I started coming here when I was a kid when my mom brought us. And I did try other places but never again. One stop shop for whatever your dental needs are. So if you are looking for a great dentist Pinelawn Dental is the place.

Positive experience: It’s very clean. I took one star away because one of the receptionist attitude isn’t the best and keep singing 90’s jams and I just wish they would shut up because this is a dentist office not American Idol. Would be entertaining if I didn’t have a migraine.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist now. This was my first time going and they was amazing. Everyone was nice and patient. They made sure i understood everything i was doing. They even had a payment plan that was super affordable. I didn't have to wait very long and the work was awesome. This will be my new dentist home.
