Fantastic experience: Amazing. My kiddo is absolutely terrified of the dentist because of the sounds etc. The staff that filled her cavities were so sweet. They interacted with her. And the moment the dentist knew she liked LADY GAGA he immediately began singing to soothe her she, without fight or crying, got her cavities filled. Dr Mina is magnificent! Bless his heart!!!

Fantastic experience: Over all my daughter and i had a good experience. Back office staff was amazing! My daughter was super nervous and Dr. Hassin and dental assistant yaritza were amazing in calming my daughter down and finished filling her cavity in a timely manner. Yaritza went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable. They also provided nitrous gas to which helped her relax.

Negative experience: If I could have no stars I would. My three-year-old was seen there today to get dental work done under sedation. The check-in was good and the girl behind the desk was nice. They came out and said that she needed a couple root canals and some cavities so I gave them permission . Everything seemed to go well up until it was time to go back and get my child. My child was laying on the table with very heavy breathing and blood coming out her nose. I happen to look in her mouth and there was still pieces of stuff in her mouth, whatever they were doing there was still in there and a pool of blood in the back of her throat no gauze no nothing for it. My daughter started to wake up and she was not doing so well and her hands curled up in her back arched and crying and screaming, and the lady just looked at me and said oh she’s OK to go home. I told her like this are you kidding me? They said yes like that that’s fine. I however, did not feel like she was OK so I was holding my daughter. She didn’t have her shoes on I had to ask the lady to help me put her shoes in the bag as she stood there and waited for me to try to hold my daughter while she’s arching her back and trying to get her diaper bag and shoes and whatever stuff that they had handed me I had to ask them for help. They also just gave me like a spit rag and said oh This is for just in case she spits up. I was like there’s blood in the back of her throat. like can’t we clean that out? They just handed me the spit rag. I was able to get my daughter to the car putting her in was horrible because she was arching her back and curling her hands. And when I got her home, it just was worse until she started waking up.. I will not be going back to this Dentist ever for treatment again. Horrible experience

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars i would. My child had treatment there. They left my girl unattended while they administered Nitrous Oxide. I unfortunately was not allowed to go to the back office with her due to pregnancy. I would not recommend this office. Not only is the wait times ridiculous the fact that they left her unattended was outrageous.

Negative experience: I wanted to like this place based on all the other good reviews. Our first visit was great however I have 2 children 5&10 so they were separated by age. so I brought my husband, Thinking he could go with one and I can go with the other. Wrong. My children were literally in different rooms from each other yet I was only allowed to be with one of them at a time. This didn’t make sense to me, but I chose to look past this because the reviews and kindness of staff. From this appointment, both my children were scheduled for treatment. My oldest was scheduled first For a root canal. To my surprise AFTER we checked in, signed nitrous paperwork that a dental assistant came to the front and told me that we weren’t going to be seen Because they don’t do root canals on adult teeth there. But oh, the cherry on top was that the referral to have her root canal done at the dentist office that does, was never sent over. So we waited a month for her to have a root canal and then had to wait another month to get into the correct dental office. My other child was scheduled for a root canal and some fillings. I knew they would be separating it out into several visits. At that first appt they did a filling even though I asked for the root canal to get the worst out of the way first. They insisted their way was best. I ultimately had to cave on this or be sent elsewhere because the doctor does not let anybody speak or advocate for their own children. He will speak over you and ask you very downward questions to make you question if you actually know what your asking or not and ask you why, WHY, WHY… Second appt, great. Minimal issues except the unsupervised kids in the waiting room Who just come over and manhandle the other kids and push them around to get to the video games. Dr actually told assistant to hurry and get us out after seeing us waiting too long. Third appt, horrible…. Our appointment was at 2 PM. We arrive 15 minutes early, Checked in signed paperwork and my daughter immediately started playing. There was very minimal kids in the waiting room. An older teen and a younger child, maybe two or three came out from the back area and the younger child immediately pushed mine out of the way and took the video game so I spoke up and said something. That parent then had a problem and said “was your child even playing?” Her back was turned to the entire situation because she was at the desk scheduling. About 15 or so minutes later, we got called back. They sit us in a room, pull her stuff up on the computer and say the doctor will be right in. Mind you I took note that nobody was in the other treatment rooms except for one child. That child exited right after we sat down. An hour has passed….. I explained my frustrations to the dentist and front desk, and as usual, I was met with him speaking over me, the guilt trips, gaslighting me, and straight up, trying to lie and manipulate the situation. First, he tried to tell me we a squeeze in… incorrect. Her appts were scheduled in advance at the time of her first treatment. Her appointment that she has next week, her last and final treatment was a squeezin, an appointment I’m expected to have patience and wait at. Why? BECAUSE HE RESCHEDULED IT FOR HIS OWN VACATION from next Friday to Monday. Not me, not the staffs error, HIM. He then tried to explain to me that he has patience coming from Turlock so I should be more patient… As if Turlock isn’t the next town over.. but the office is so busy there or something. Not my problem. Then the next guilt trip was he has three year-old patients and sometimes they throw fits.. Also not my problem. Mind you he was speaking over me telling him that we scheduled our appt at 2 and not 330 because I have school right after. Which requires a pick up and drop off plus drive time.. which isn’t his problem. BUT I also planned plenty in ahead without putting it on anyone else. Unfortunately, I feel like this is very common treatment of people who have Medi-Cal because we are so limited on where we can go. It’s so discouraging.

Negative experience: Today was one of the worst experience I have received at kids smile dental with DDS. Mina. My 3 children have been coming here for the past 3 years and we have never had such a rude encounter as today. Staff had previously asked me before treatment if I wanted my three children to receive fluoride I said not for this visit. When dentist Mina came in to see my youngest he said no fluoride treatment I again said no not today. He then asked why I simply replied not today we will not personal choice. Then loudly again dentist Mina ask why!!! I said i don't want to give them the treatment and then he again said why give me a scientific explanation on why? I said I don't want to and I don't need to explain myself to you i simply said not today, he then said that was not a good enough answer to give him , he the proceeded to tell me i needed to be humble to receive advise from your children's dentist and saying you don't want fluoride is not a good answer. I let him know there my children and i don't want to give them that treatment period. argument. He persisted on being rude and i told him, to stop treatment on my son that was enough he then jumped up and with a nasty sass said byeeeeee it was disgusting such rude manubriums to be coming from a children's health care professional. When I asked for his manager staff i was just given me a run around I have spoken to, Selene, Jannette, Eloisa, kwyeeniah all while trying to get a actual manager to report him to. everyone with the same run around and saying they are not available putting me on hold call after call. I will not be going back to this office I wanted to put it out there after 5 months of waiting for a appt for my children this was by far one of the most disgusting confrontation's that happened in front of my three children a provider should not ever pushing there agendas on a parent, and parents should not feel pressured into making decisions for there children to go through that they are uncomfortable with. Suggestion could be made was what i told Dr. Mina in its proper manner but at the end of the day the decisions made by the parent is the ultimate and final answer for there children period and that should be respected.

Negative experience: We used to love coming here. But our last 3 appts have been ridiculous. Waiting in the lobby 90min+, treatment keeps getting pushed back. It should not take 2 hours abd 3 reschedules to get a cavity filled. Such a bummer because we had such a great experience the first few years we were coming.

Negative experience: ZERO stars. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. The office was albright. The nurses were great and tried to be as helpful as possible but the Dr. was so infuriating. We waited 30min after being called into the back for him to show up and then get frustrated because my 2 year old couldn’t sit still while he drilled a hole into his teeth. He was visibly frustrated with a toddler for being scared and then gave up and sent us away with a referral to another dental office, but not before he looked at me and condescendingly asked me if I spoke english because I was looking at him with frustration. And that was after I was trying to calm my son down while SPEAKING ENGLISH the entire visit. He sent my 2 year old home with a gaping hole in the back of his front teeth, which he did not tell us was there, and told us we didn’t have to get his teeth capped but he “highly” suggested that we do. Who works at a CHILDRENS practice and gets upset because a CHILD can’t sit still during his second visit at the dentist?!

Fantastic experience: Yarissa did such a great job with my son! He is on the autism spectrum and she was so patient and friendly making him feel safe enough allowing us to get an x-ray! Thank you Yarissa for an amazing experience! You are AWESOME!!!

Negative experience: If you want your child to be choked with the water in their mouth and not being able to stop the discomfort unless they want to be YELLED at by the doctor here. Don't go here. The assistant didnt know what she was doing so my son tried to move the water instrument back to avoid choking and the doctor in his face YELLED to stop. Completely unprofessional staff.

Negative experience: Went to take my daughter for and appointment at 12 showed up 15 min early signed her in went to go wait my turn start talking to the lady next to me. She had an appointment at 12:30 she showed up 12:10 they called her in and everyone else we still waiting when I went to go see what was going on they said no room are available and as I went to go sit down they started mumbling and smirking at each other just got up a left This place is a joke
