Negative experience: Went in and the girl suggested for me to get their wellness plan but had to cancel my current dental plan. Don't listen to them. I did what she told me and now it cost me $600+ out of pocket, I have no emergency out of state coverage, no root canal coverage etc. Beware and its state law u can have 2 insurances. I was so upset that I received poor advice and they just said they would remind her. What the heck. Didn't care that im out if pocket money

Fantastic experience: The dentist and staff are professional and personable. I have been seeing the dentist there for many years. The office is located in a small complex within a natural setting - mature trees & shrubs. All and all a pleasant experience.

Positive experience: The explanation of what X rays would be done that day was confusing. If time was limited...the x ray issue should not have been brought up. Choice of polish flavor was stated difficulty. There was an urgency to make a next appointment before I could get my calendar out. I was asked which small dental cleaning accessories I wanted, but she did not wait for my answer. She put her choices in the bag. I felt rushed.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Dr. Acree is taking good care of my gums and teeth. The staff does an outstanding job and explains treatment plans very well.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Downey park dentistry for a long time. Dr. Acree is an excellent dentist. He is very patient oriented and does great dental work. He follows up on any concerns a patient may have. The rest of the staff is very professional and attuned to patients dental needs. I especially enjoy the work of my dental hygienist Tracy. She is very thorough in cleaning my teeth and pleasant to work with I would recommend this office to anyone

Positive experience: All went fine with good service. No complaint for that. Even with insurance, you are too expensive though. One thing to make a living, another to gouge your clients especially in a service profession. Many of us are well educated and from service professions. I guess this is the American way. Most in Modesto would have trouble affording your services.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an implant placed by Dr Herrera. The entire process takes several months but is totally worth it. He was very friendly & informative throughout the whole process. He has a gentle touch plus is a highly qualified Periodontist. I definitely recommend him if you ever need an implant!

Fantastic experience: My Oral surgery was welcoming and friendly, which are two important ways calm patients before a surgery. Particularly making an impact was the real conversations the staff had with me. This made me feel less like patient and more like a person. That’s what makes my review 5 stars.

Negative experience: This dentist recently changed their hours from last appointment at 5 to 4pm being their latest appointment which is a huge inconvenience for people who work for a living especially since they don't offer appointments on Fridays or Saturdays. Also, they dropped my insurance carrier and offer minimum coverage for dental work. Had to lower my rating from 5 to 2 and am currently looking for another dentist. The staff is friendly and professional and the office is clean and modern. Edit. They are open 1 Friday a month. However I was informed that my dental plan (Cigna) is not supported by this dentist. New bad experience here. They scheduled me for a treatment I neither approved nor did I make an appointment for. I thought they had moved my cleaning up a week but instead did this. And I took off of work early. Then couldn't do my cleaning while already here with a slot because they didn't have a hygienist available. Well who was going to do the procedure today to begin with? So now I have to take another day early off with lost wages for this mess up. Oh they tried to call to confirm my appointment was the excuse.

Fantastic experience: Downey Park Family Dentistry has been wonderful for all my teenagers’ dental needs. They make my kids feel at ease and well cared for while providing excellent dental hygiene services and specialty services like fixing a chipped tooth. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
