Fantastic experience: Update: February 2026.Continue to always have a pleasant experience here at Westover Dental. Staff are always friendly and make it stress free. Cheers Dr Ravi and Crew. I’d give Ten Stars if it was possible. Had one of if not the best Dental experiences of my adult life at Westover Dental Clinic. Dr.Ravi and his Staff are very professional while being very friendly and attentive to all your concerns and questions. I’m new to the Portland area and this will definitely be my go to Dentist.

Everything was explained clearly and we had time to discuss lots of things. My teeth feel cleaner than ever!!

They stay up-to-date with modern processes, it's always easy to set up appointments and receive timely reminders and the front desk team is always friendly and helpful. I've never had any issues with cleanings, fillings, etc. The team is always attentive and has helped me keep up on Perio maintenance and it has improved significantly. I recommend them to everyone :)

Fantastic experience: My visit with Westover Dental went great! The whole process was very easygoing and I was in and out with barely any waiting around, also the online forms were easy to fill out beforehand and the staff was very helpful and friendly. My teeth were cleaned quickly, but thoroughly and it was cool to see the x-rays and to be explained clearly the current health of my teeth and the options I have moving forward. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Ravi for more than 5 years and his practice is a really nice atmosphere, there always a familiar smiling face at the desk, and he's done a great job with my cleanings, and a few fillings, and they do a good job of explaining everything, which is wonderful. He has a really kind and friendly approach, I know i'm in good hands! I've recommended a few friends and they all liked him too. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office is kind and helpful. It was my first time visiting the dentist in years. They were so transparent with prices and coverage. The Dentist always performs cleaning on new patients. It is so nice and reassuring that he really is invested in his patients wellness. Overall one of the best experiences in health care ever.

Fantastic experience: I'm an out-of-towner who chipped a tooth. Westover squeezed me in, filed down the rough edges, and sent me out much happier than I came in.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient but my initial impression is excellent. Dr. Busi did a careful exam and proposed a conservative treatment program (far less intrusive than my existing provider). Unlike any other dentist in my memory he did the first cleaning himself to get a better sense of what was going on with me and my mouth. As of this moment, I trust him and his staff more than most of my prior dental providers (I’m old and move a lot, so I’ve had a bunch). I hope this will remain my opinion as time goes by.

Fantastic experience: A regular reasonable person just like you. Dr. Busai is an amazing dentist he’s very gentle, conscious, and efficient. With very fair and reasonable pricing, I would recommend him 100 times over and will be going back for all my work with him as well. Plus he has a cozy waiting area but you’d never notice because you’re never waiting very long.

Fantastic experience: Really great experience from start to finish. I was able to make an appointment easily and fill out forms online (ahead of time) When I checked in, front desk staff were above and beyond helpful (I'm a new patient due to insurance change, and hadnt changed dentists in over a decade) They had my xrays and records and confirmed my insurance copays. The exam and cleaning process were thorough - and they explained everything every step of the way! Cuz, why does every dentist assume you know what 1,2,3 is when your gums get poked??? Now I do :)

Fantastic experience: Westover Dental was a great experience for me. I was very nervous but all the fine folks over at Westover allayed my fears and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this dental clinic. 2025.05.30 - Been requested to leave another note. Not much to add but they have a great location in NW Portland OR. Great staff. They've already finished a portion of my dental work and put me on an in house payment plan. I keep up my end of the bargain with on time regular payments and even though the dental work is challenging on me financially more than anything else and Westover, Doctor Ravi, and staff let me know they're priority is my health and I believe them ;)

Fantastic experience: I'm an Organizational Development Consultant. I know when good people are in the right places, when a business culture promotes happy and healthy employees in its workforce so that it transfers into the best experience for their patrons. And that is what Westover Dental has! It's like day and night from the prior place I've gone to. Really enjoyed everyone here and that Dr. Busi took the time to do my initial cleaning as a way to know my health needs and me personally. There was no upsell, just real assessment and attention to detail from the receptionist, hygienist, to the Doc! Wonderful! Thanks to everyone there!

Fantastic experience: Always a fantastic experience. 0 pain during cleaning, healthy reminders in case you forget your appointment is coming up, always up front with the costs, and they go above and beyond to check in with your insurance. Really nice people run this place and they have for many years now. Been a client for 6+ at the recommendation of a friend, and unless I move far away or they close, I will always be a client.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is extremely kind-front desk, hygienists, and Dr Busi. Appointments are handled really smoothly, costs are explained and without pressure, and everyone really has a gentle hand when it comes to working on your teeth. Dr Busi is super nice, on the level, and really good at what he does. I've had a lot of bad experiences with dental care so I have a decent amount of anxiety typically about going to the dentist, but I enjoy going here and it's been really good for my teeth.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist! It can be a stressful experience for most, but this place will change your opinion on getting your teeth looked at. They make you feel at ease, never lecture on flossing (they don’t even bring it up), and constantly check in with you during the process whether there’s a tender spot or if you’re doing okay. I believe the front desk lady has worked there for many years, and you can tell everyone in there loves their job, their clients, and the owner! I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: Westover Dental Clinic’s entire team are super helpful and kind. Every hygienist I’ve had the pleasure of meeting has been so gentle I could fall asleep. Dr. Busi is easygoing and efficient. I’d suggest him to anyone I cared about. They also do a membership option which is cool if you’re not insured. $300 for two cleanings a year, an exam and x-rays. I feel that’s very generous.

Fantastic experience: I am the poster child (adult) for dental nightmares. Think Little Shop of Horrors. And then I find the WITHOUT EQUAL kind people of Westover Dental Clinic. Patient, kind, honest and accepting of my hesitancy and jabberwocky tendencies-the front of office staff could give world lessons in diplomacy. Dr. Busi was also honest, kind, and sincere during my first exam. He asked me the #1 question: What do you want to accomplish? Heading in to my first real appointment in a few days, scary but necessary procedures involved. Another review to follow! LOVE ALWAYS!!

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Westover Dental for years, have no interest in changing. I love the convenience of the parking lot, the friendly reception, the gentle treatment by everyone, and the expertise of Dr. Ravi Busi. Everyone at Westover goes above what you'd expect. The front desk people are conscientious about reminders and always make sure you understand your bill. When you are in the chair someone always checks in to make sure you doing all right. And Dr. Busi has worked with me on mouthguards to make sure I have the exact right fit and thickness. Love Westover!

Fantastic experience: My dental cleaning was to perfection! Staff is so nice, all of them, from the front desk, to the hygienist, to Dr Busi. They had made a personal note in my chart about an accident I had experienced and that me feel really cared for. I even learned some new brushing tips!

Fantastic experience: The dentist and dental assistants here are great! My teeth got cleaned well, my X-rays were taken, I got fluoride, and the dentist was educated on jaw health and Botox use plus other solutions for jaw related health as well, he is both prepared to make a referral to a jaw or orthodontic specialist and to do botox for the jaw himself!

Positive experience: Dr. Busi is an excellent dentist. This is the first dental practice that I have been to where the level of service is excellent - my procedures were painless, not messy and I was explained what was being done by Dr. Busi before and during the procedure. Excellent dentist!!! My only suggestion for improvement would be for the female employees who work at or near the front desk to lesson their chatting and gossiping. Otherwise, I highly recommend Dr. Busi and Westover Dental Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dental office I have ever been to. Very accommodating for my jaw lock issues and gives me a warm compress so it doesn't lock and takes little breaks to keep it from locking. Also told them I'm an Introvert and just to focus on what they need to focus on and less small talk. Very awesome team!

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with my first visit to Westover Dental. Dr Busi did the cleaning himself so that he could have the chance to get to know me as a new patient- something he says he does because he wants to get to know all his patients on a personal level. Relationship-based medicine is rare these days and means a lot! I was also impressed with the transparency around billing. My insurance had been verified and coverage details were reviewed with me both before and after the visit. Always appreciate an effort to make sure there are no surprises!

Fantastic experience: Gentle hands, fast service, and great care. It doesn't hurt that the office has expansive windows so there is a great view of trees with birds and squirrels to look at while in the dental chair. I needed extensive work done due to not having dental coverage for a number of years and Dr. Busi and his staff have been great.

Negative experience: I initially left a positive review for Westover Dental, as all the cleanings I have had here were fantastic and the staff are very nice. However when I actually needed to get dental work done here the experience was awful. I had a crown and during the first appointment where the tooth is prepped, the assistant wasn't really vacuuming up the water in my mouth so it kept dripping into my throat. When I brought this up, twice, she was very dismissive and told me to just breathe through my nose. I spent the entire time afraid I was going to cough on water while someone has a power drill in my mouth. After the appointment when I got home and the numbing agent wore off I noticed that my tongue hurt like crazy, so I went and looked in my mirror with my flashlight and saw that there were deep cuts all over the back of my tongue near where they had been working. It took about 3 days before I could talk without pain. I was really shocked that something like that could happen and that the dentist and assistant didn't even say anything about it. I reluctantly went back to get the final crown placed and Dr. Busi made several adjustments to the crown but it still didn't seem to be fitting quite right, so he just cemented it in and filed down the opposing tooth to make it work. I get why the opposing tooth might need to be filed down some, if that was the only thing that had happened I probably wouldn't say anything but the entire process was awful. I know everyone can have off days and I hope my experience was just a fluke, but I don't personally feel comfortable coming back here for any future dental work.

Negative experience: I am conflicted about leaving a negative review, but considering that I've left a positive one in the past, I think it's the right thing. Dr. Busi put a crown on a cracked tooth in October - they were kind enough to fit me in before my insurance ran out which I appreciate. Unfortunately, both sessions, the preparation and the permanent crown were really uncomfortable and the permanent crown session was, I'm certain, the most pain I have ever experienced. It was excruciating with no novocaine. This isn't my first crown. I've even had another done, I believe, at Westover. It's never comfortable, but I've never had this kind of pain. What I find inexcusable, was that knowing how painful it was, they didn't contact me afterward for a follow up or to make sure it was okay. I am looking for a new dentist. It may have just been a bad day for them, but I don't think I could bring myself to go back to Westover.
