Fantastic experience: I just had a lower molar problem assessed and treated by Dr. Brett. His approach and attention were exceptional. My nerves were a bit resistant to the anesthetic, but he kept testing to insure I had adequate sedation. Even the administration of the injections was painless! I found him to be not only very sensitive to my needs (an excellent listener) but also intuitive or just highly skilled in reading body signals. He covered his assessment thoroughly, outlining all the options short and long term and was able to recommend a conservative approach clearly based on testing numerous areas of the molar for pain and explanations to ensure my understanding to guide a treatment plan, which clearly nodded to my choice along with his empirical testing. He was most patient with this part of the process. Because I hoped to have the treatment at the same visit, he checked the schedule and worked with staff to allow for the filling in the same visit. This was an important piece for me not wanting to have multiple visits during COVID. The care was seamless, efficient, painless. He also checked in regularly with how I was doing throughout the procedure. His assistant Brittany was attentive and responsive to his requests with no hesitation. Highly skilled patient centered care and awesome team overall. And the office procedures for infection prevention efforts was over the top. I felt very safe and protected against COVID infection. I left my prior dentist because it was hard to actually get an appointment, but after leaving I realized I was dreading going to the dentist because the cleanings were uncomfortable and generally unpleasant. Smiles on Sandy was the opposite of all of this - easy to make an appointment, the staff is friendly and welcoming, I was taken in for my appointment on time, etc. My hygienist was great - she checked in with me throughout the process and I was comfortable throughout the experience. Very happy I switched to Smiles on Sandy!

The dental work has been top notch, my two crowns are perfect and priced fairly compared to other quotes I had for crowns. Dr. Jon Daby assessed the situation one day and the next day took care of the root canal and temporary crown before my surgery. The staff is wonderful. They are the friendliest, most competent dental clinic I've ever been to. In this day and age of poorer quality, this is one sterling exception. (And my front teeth veneers are gorgeous!).

Fantastic experience: Ever since I started seeing the Smiles on Sandy Team, I have been so impressed by the cleanliness of their office and the kindness of the dental hygienists. Everyone complains about going to the dentist and honestly I look forward to it because of their awesome team! I especially I love the big windows that look out into a beautiful garden and the ceiling light covers displaying waterfalls and lush forests. They never skimp on the end-of-appointment goodies either :) As a person who dreaded the dark, dank, dental offices of our childhood, I can honestly say that Smiles on Sandy is breath of fresh air (literally!).

Fantastic experience: I’m a doctor. I worked in the emergency room for many years. I’ve had two babies. I’ve had broken bones, dry socket and the dreaded shoulder surgery. The only thing that will bring me to my knees in fear, is a dental procedure. I never had a fear of the dentist ….until I did. As a younger adult I had a couple of experiences with different dentists that have caused this absolute terror of dental procedures. Recently I had to have some fillings for gum recession and poor Dr. Jon drew the short straw! He was so great and made sure I was completely numb before starting. All I had to do was lie there and try to breathe my blood pressure down from stroke level. I think the next time I won’t be as terrified, as I’ve been through it once now at Smiles on Sandy. So, if you’re like me and need to get through it once to know it will be ok the next time then maybe this review can help you. Dr. Jon will listen to you, make sure you’re nice and numb and do fabulous work. I’m so happy with my smile now

Fantastic experience: I had an erupted wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Brett and it was a great experience! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, and the entire staff is so friendly and helpful. They made me feel so calm and assured throughout the entire process. I had a lot of anxiety about this process but the oral conscious sedation worked very well.

Negative experience: It was recommended by one of the Brothers, that because I had "early on-set Periodontitis disease" he recommended a deep clean, which I did on one side of my mouth. It was excruciatingly more painful than a route canal procedure and when I came back home to see my childhood dentist, (Pittsburgh P.A.) he could not tell the difference between my gum or tooth decay between the two sides of my mouth. ( the deep cleaned side looked no different from the side that was not deep cleaned apparently) From this, I took that Smiles on Sandy was trying push me into an uncomfortable procedure that I really did not need (Realized after seeing second opinion). However, they are very skilled dentists. This was just a very uncomfortable 2 + hour experience that I can't figure out why I was put through.
