And she answered many questions this old man asked about dental cleaning. Cotton is very personable and professional. It was a very educational experience for me. Dr Payne is terrific and has done a wonderful job hiring people to make his business a very comfortable place to be in. This first visit was a very enjoyable experience for me.

He is consultative when developing a plan for your oral care but not pushy driving towards expensive prosthetics unless requested. It is also refreshing to not have to wait extended periods of time for your appointment. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: First visit with an aching tooth. They were more than accommodating to get me in asap. Staff was super nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Payne was informative and took care of me really well. Now I’ve made it one year with regular visits with a new implant that Dr. Payne did himself. Most implants get delayed for 6 months or so due to changing doctors for an oral specialist. Super friendly staff to add to the pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Joe since he started. I went overseas twice, STILL saw Dr. Joe when I flew home, and now live in a different state. I STILL go see Doc for all my dental needs. I went yesterday. 6 hour drive. The reason? He is honest. I had random dentists in different states/countries tell me things. Dr. Joe looked at the x-rays/pictures, and said, “I could not, in good conscience, do most of this. It is not necessary. Sure, I would love the money, but I am not going to drill on you unnecessarily. Some of these could be 10 years away from being a cavity, IF they ever turn into a cavity”. He is friendly, professional, honest. And….he took a risk going to dental school, with the last name Payne. Haha. All the dental hygienists are really great, comforting, and personable, as well. Don’t let the title, ‘Doctor Payne’ scare you. A more fitting last name, would have been ‘Awesome’…..Doctor Awesome!

Fantastic experience: Needed a bump taken off my inner lip - figured 2 weeks out. Dr. Payne was able to get me in for a 4pm appt. I had a 5pm meeting and told the nurse and she said he'd told her it would only take 15 minutes. I figured ok, why not and took the appt. I got there a little less than 15 minutes early in case and was back in the seat at 3:50pm. Numbing swab, numbing shot, laser work and done. I was leaving the office at 4:03pm. Unbelievable. I wish everyone worked that way! Sore is healing up great just 24 hours later. Absolutely no complaints and huge kudos!!!

Fantastic experience: Had the get a root canal done. Everything was great. Friendly staff and Dr. Payne was amazing. Didn't hurt at all. 3 hours after with no pain killer, I still don't feel any 'Payne'. Had to throw that in there lol. Tools were clean and the procedure was done professionally. He will now be my family dentist. *Update* - Had my routine checkup and cleaning done today and my experience has not changed. Amazing staff that shows great professionalism and care for their patients.

Fantastic experience: My college daughter woke up with her crown that had come off. Dr Payne’s assistant Bryce was very helpful in getting her in quickly the following day. Dr. Payne did a great job in putting her crown back on and restoring her beautiful smile quickly! So grateful as my daughter is from California. Dr. Payne came in reviewed her work, made no adjustments however, was made aware of a chewing issue I had ,,, took time to review the issue in my mouth and corrected it immediately! I couldn’t be any happier and have found a new place to call hime relative to my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: Best experience I’ve had at a dentist ever. Had an old crown (done by a different dentist) come off. Dr. Payne was able to reset it without any issues. Fantastic experience: I cannot express how much gratitude I have for this man. I was having a dental emergency the day before thanksgiving and I was NOT one of his patients. He saw me anyway and did an emergency root canal and I was an absolute wreck hysterical crying coming in there from another orthodontist appt (they didn’t know what in the world was wrong)and this Dr. did the necessary process of elimination and after a CT SCAN the results were unfortunately a dying nerve but he calmly did what was necessary despite me coming unglued from terror. I feel like a brand new person and was able to eat thanksgiving dinner and everything and I was so relieved to not be in excruciating pain any longer. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. PAYNE AND STAFF FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND WILLINGNESS TO HELP AT THE MOST INOPPORTUNE TIME OF THE YEAR! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Fantastic experience: I have gone to Dr Payne's office for 11 years. He is friendly, fair, and not pushy. He has kept up with the latest developments in dental care, and has the best and most innovative equipment. They can diagnose, prep, and build porcelain crowns right in the office in about 2 hours.....no more making two visits separated by two weeks of wearing a temporary crown! The hygienists are gentle, thorough, and knowledgeable, so can watch for potential problems and alert Dr Payne when necessary. ****Add two more years to my time with Dr. Payne!! He caught a tooth last year that needed to be crowned because it had cracks top to bottom. Was quickly fixed and I have another saved tooth! Thank you Dr Payne! Add another year! I had a stroke May 16th this year! The hygienist was new to me....she was very kind and helpful with making me comfortable and with placement of my affected arm. My cleaning went well and she patiently kept reminding me to "open a little wider" because my brain couldn't not remember to keep my mouth open for her. I appreciated her so much!

I was in and out of the office with a beautiful, well-fitting crown in just 2 hours, no leaving with a temporary crown and coming back in weeks to get the permanent crown. The staff is competent and courteous. And, I was able to eat lunch just a short while later!

Negative experience: Today was the first day my 17 year old seen an adult dentist since seeing her pediatric dentist. This was the worst experience for her and me. She was on the verge of tears when she came out which is highly unlike her. She said no one was friendly, they did not tell her what was going on and what should have been at the most an hour long appointment ended up being two hours. She said they were very rough and uncaring. I heard the receptionists talking after speaking with a customer, I’m assuming they were asking about a bill, and I heard one of them say, “Get better insurance!” Maybe that is the only insurance they offer at their job. No need in patients having to sit in the waiting area listening to them talk like that. Very unprofessional. If you are going to be in that business you must know you will see all different kinds of people. If you can’t be nice and welcoming to EVERYONE, you are doing it wrong. Needless to say we will not be back. I will be looking for her a new dentist. Anyone with children knows they would not appreciate their children being treated like this. Do not recommend.
