Fantastic experience: I developed a tooth ache on Saturday morning and had a miserable weekend because of it. I called Pearl Dental Group on Monday around 9am and they were able to fitted me in their busy schedule. I was treated by the Best. Dr Andre Bruni with his expertise took care of the problem! Negative experience: Before choosing a dentist, make sure they’re family-owned! If you want to feel like a number, go to places like Dr. Bruni’s. Had an extraction and bone graft on July 30, 2025. Within 30 minutes, I was in worse pain than before surgery. Went back — staff laughed at me, ignored my questions, and the doctor refused to speak to me. They handed me a script and rushed me out. By August 5, my stitches (supposed to last 4 weeks) already fell out. I called in pain, and Caitlin put me on hold… and just left me there. Called back — another woman admitted she heard everything… then hung up on me. No care. No follow-up. No accountability. Do yourself a favor — go to a family-owned practice where they treat you like a human. I can’t recommend that enough. Stay far away from places like this.

The numbing process is usually the worst but they were very gentle when injecting and made sure the anesthetic was working completely before starting, which I appreciate. Also, the team was so nice and friendly during my entire experience.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience at this dental office. I originally started getting my teeth cleaned at this office and I had a great experience with the hygienist. Dr Bruni came in during one of my appointments and we talked about a procedure I needed done. Dr Bruni told me he could do the procedure and I trusted him which was a big mistake. The day of my procedure I initially had a very bad first impression when they asked me to pay the $1800 before my appointment. I reluctantly agreed but I thought it was odd that they were asking me to checkout before my scheduled procedure. Then they took me back to the room I was going to be in for my procedure and they asked me if the hygienist could come in and “numb me up.” I said “absolute not.” I don’t want a hygienist administering injectable numbing medication on me. They are not qualified to do that. So Dr Bruni comes in after I had been given nitrous oxide and numbed me up and a few minutes later he started my procedure. About what seemed like 20 minutes into the procedure Dr Bruni suddenly stopped and said he had to abort the procedure because he said he perforated a membrane and he said he could not continue. Then Dr Bruni said “I am not going to charge you.” I had a failed procedure and ended up with a mouth full of stitches that bled continually over the weekend. What was worse was that I consulted an oral surgeon in Baton Rouge about a week later and the oral surgeon told me that Dr Bruni was not qualified to do such a procedure because he was a general dentist and only an oral surgeon should be doing the procedure that Dr. Bruni attempted to do. The oral surgeon then told me that he would not be able to operate on me for at least a year because the area in my mouth was so messed up. Then I talked to another general dentist and he told me that “We do not do those procedures. Only an oral surgeon would do a procedure like that.” Think long and hard before going to this office for any needed dental work.

Fantastic experience: First things first the facility is state of the art! I drove over an hour to get there even though I live in area saturated with capable dentist. I took a leap of faith after researching and reading countless reviews. I met with the team at Pearl Dental just seeking information. I left there completely happy with a plan to get everything I want done. The entire staff is very welcoming from the moment you walk inside which is very important to me. I felt comfortable the entire time I was there which is rare because I have horrible anxiety. Both Dr. Bruni's actually listened to me and allowed me to tell them my goals and what I want for myself versus what they want for me. I'm looking forward to returning to get my work done. I've never in my life been excited about going to the dentist until now. (Will update this review once I get my work done!)

Fantastic experience: I drove here from Arkansas for a consult. Dr. Bruni and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I will be returning in June for my implants. I could have went with someone in my own state. But when Dr. Bruni called me on a Sunday after I had inquired about implants, I had to make the drive. I will give an update after I get the implants! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: A very positive dental experience. I have had an implant, cleanings and will be getting Invisalign in the near future at Pearl. I’ve had multiple crowns and root canals in the past and will continue to use Pearl. the staff and Dr Bruni are excellent! I have a confident smile!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience for my wife our daughter and myself. I went first after I was told I had no options and had to have my teeth pulled, Dr. Bruni gave me other options which were much better. He's a pretty cool guy too. His wife, also Dr. Bruni, is a real nice lady. I then brought my daughter and they really made it easy for a kid. The dentist office wasn't like this when I was younger. She wants to go back. My wife stayed for the other half of my daughters visit and ended up getting her teeth cleaned. The place is really nice, very comfortable, and they have an arcade up front with Turtles in Time. Yep Turtles in Time. I don't work in the dental field but you can tell they use the latest and greatest technology. They did a 3d scan of my teeth, what!?!?! All of the staff are really, really nice. Not too nice like fake nice. You can tell they probably like their job. I'm pretty sure they did extra throwing a veneer on where I had a tooth chipped and when it chipped a week later Dr. Bruni fixed it right up. I don't recall that sort of thing happening at other dentists. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's the best experience I've ever had at a dentist in any metric.

Positive experience: I went in for a free orthodontia consultation. Little did I know the xrays they took might prevent my normal dentist from taking the same xrays because Pearl might submit them for payment. I was also disappointed I was unable to see how my teeth might look once completed because the equipment was not working. But that's not what bothers me as much as the closing of my orthodontia consultation. I didn't like the end of the visit when I was escorted to the front and given a sheet of paper with the cost and that was it. The stars are for the nice office and the nice young lady at the front. Also please note, this review is for the orthodontia services only. So please don't use it as a comparison of the other dental services they provide.

Now he finally has a set of perfect white teeth that are simulated and can show his big white teeth (permanent white teeth will be installed after Christmas). We are very grateful and decided to do our family's oral care here in the future; by the way, Dr. Bruni is very talented in languages. He even learned three important Chinese words during the surgery. He is really great! Every staff here is great! We highly recommend

Fantastic experience: All star service and care. Dr. Jessica Bruni works with extreme care and skill. Where other dentists (not here) had failed me and left me in miserable pain for 7 months straight, Jessica was brave enough to take me on as a new patient, remove the hurting crown and give me the perfect crown I wanted the first time. She was patient working with me through multiple visits and months because she cared about getting it just right for me as much as I did. And she did! She got it perfect for me and in doing so she ended my 12 month dental crisis that started with Louisiana Dental Center in Houma, la. I drove over 3 hours round trip every visit to Dr. Jessica Bruni and went off my insurance so I could use her and she was worth every minute and penny. Having a dentist who cares and listens makes all the deference in the world. She gave me hope when it looked hopeless. She no doubt enriched and changed my life. She redeemed me from a terrible situation. I am so grateful for Dr. Jessica Bruni.
