Negative experience: I had to cancel my massage due to an emergency, and despite being a frequent client, they still charged me half of the service fee. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. There was no option to reschedule for another day; they simply kept part of the payment. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but I expected more flexibility, especially as a regular customer.

Fantastic experience: My Retreat experience was great. The full body massage by India was spot on and the facial by Debbie was my first and unforgettable. I'll definitely come back and I also recommend this spot.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience with Mr. Greg. He was professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He focused on the areas where I carry the most tension and I left feeling completely refreshed. One of the best massages I’ve had. I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: I never leave reviews, but this is worth it! I’ve truly never had such a phenomenal massage and fantastic experience. I’ve been trying to find a good massage therapist for five years in Baton Rouge and I finally found her! Go see Alisa next time you need a massage! On top of the great massage, the atmosphere was amazing. Getting a robe when you walk in and an offer of a beverage is just a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Brelin! From the moment I got there, she made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. The entire facial was so calming, and you can tell she really cares about what she’s doing. She was gentle, professional, and explained everything in a way that made me feel confident in her skills. My skin looked noticeably better afterward—so much smoother, clearer, and glowing. It honestly felt like a reset for my skin. I would definitely recommend Brelin to anyone looking for a relaxing facial and real results

Fantastic experience: I booked the custom massage with Derek with a focus on cupping and deep tissue massage. Derek was professional, observant and checked in with me throughout the service to make sure I was comfortable. The overall experience was relaxing and a great way to start my sunday morning. The Retreat has a very clean, zen and high end vibe that makes you feel luxuriously pampered but with affordable prices. I will be coming back for my next self care sunday!

Negative experience: 5 for Mika The spa itself gets a 1. The 'unisex' bathrooms are not 'spa like' and extremely unwelcoming. The whole experience at the spa felt like an assault on my senses. I was overwhelmed by the wait to get into a bathroom and changed for my appointment. The room that I was massaged in was bland and not calming. The sauna is in the hallway and I felt like a fish in a fish tank with people walking by and glancing in. This is a 1/2 step up from being a walk in massage envy. I’m my opinion it was too expensive for the experience.

Fantastic experience: Went in for lymphatic drainage massage with Keisha it’s exactly what I wanted. Technique is very light intentionally. The robes are luxurious as well as the bedding on Massage tables …atmosphere It’s very relaxing.

Fantastic experience: Thank you India for an amazing massage today! I mentioned beforehand that I teach dance and I’m on my feet a lot and she listened. Gave a great foot massage and even stretched out my hips, hamstrings, glutes, and calves!! It was much needed. Thanks again!!

Positive experience: Cute small day spa! Went for a Craniosacral massage to get some reprieve after a 8 day migraine episode. Richard did an amazing job and I left without neck and head pain for the first time in over a week. I will be back for my next migraine!

Fantastic experience: I am no Stranger to the benefits and enjoyment of a good massage. I’ve been getting them for about 25 years. I have went a lot of places and had many therapists to work on problem areas that range for excellent to not so great but today I was blown away. My massage was exceptional! I am new to the Retreat and didn’t know who I would be seeing but was blessed to be paired with a therapist by the name of Alisa a LMT who works there. I have problems with my right shoulder and she hand down gave the best targeted trigger point massage I have ever received and that is saying something in and of itself! Her skill and technique was impressive as well as her ability to interpret the pressure needed to really get those muscles to release. I was amazed and impressed by the time it was done. If you’re looking for someone who is skilled in targeting problem areas or just looking for a great therpist you should schedule with her. She definitely will receive follow up business from me! JUST AMAZING!

I came in pain and left feeling rejuvenated. Really good massage therapists are hard to come by so when you find one it’s best you hold on to them. Will definitely be booking with him again soon.

Fantastic experience: All I can say is Brea is the lady if your face needs to get right.. she is very patient and actually listens to what your hopes are for face.. better healthy.. I book only with her . Shannon and Indian for those good body messages.. if you like a really deep messages Indian.. if you more of a medium to Firm Shannon.. these ladies ALWAYS get me right.. and yes I book with them monthly for body and over 2 months for facials.

Fantastic experience: Megan- lymphatic massage The massage was wonderful and thorough. Being plus sized some technicians are hesitant to apply pressure or too forceful, Megan’s touch was perfect for this massage and I will definitely be recommending her to others.

He checked in with me if he sensed the pressure may be a bit much, and ensured I had a pleasant experience. Negative experience: Usually don’t have issues out this spa, however this morning I drove 50 mins to get here, arrive my masseuse was “late”. I’m already 16 mins late for my 9am appt. However, my assigned masseuse ETA wasn’t until 9:48am. I informed them I could wait, they told me I would have to reschedule due to the remainder of his appointments. I requested a refund the “customer service manage Terry disagreed, then eventually agreed.” Your customer should have been made aware of the late status of the service provider Greg. This all could have been handled appropriately, had I received a call once the realized that Greg would be late. Bella, the front desk girl was amazing. Nonetheless, this was unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: I was gifted the “Queen for a Day” spa package as a birthday gift, and I was not disappointed. From the second you enter the door till you walk out it is a great experience. Everyone was inviting and attentive. The place is very cozy. I was asked before and after services if I wanted anything to drink (the mimosas are delicious btw). My massage was with Richard. He was wonderful and listened to my concerns before starting. Throughout the massage he checked in with me to make sure everything was okay. I’ve had many massages in the past but this one was hands down the best. My body masque was with Keshia. She was amazing! She explained to me what we were going to be doing and how it worked. Extremely relaxing experience. Lastly my facial was with Destiny, who was great. She really listened to what I had to say, preformed a facial that would best benefit my skin, and in the end gave me recommendations on what to adjust in my current skincare routine. I left today with my skin looking amazing and feeling relaxed. Needless to say I highly recommend coming here for your spa needs! I absolutely will be returning!

We discussed some of my pains and issues and she was so kind and knowledgeable. The sauna is perfect for 2 people and there is a shower which was helpful. 10/10

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere was cozy, and the mimosas were perfect. My daughter and I loved our massage therapist. However, our experience before the appointment was very frustrating. We had an early appointment and specifically asked beforehand if we would be able to use the sauna either before or after our services. We were told yes. The website also states that hours begin at 9:00 a.m. We arrived promptly at 9:00, but after knocking and calling, the receptionist finally appeared and told us the doors do not open until 9:45. When I explained that we had an appointment, I was brushed off. My daughter then spoke with the receptionist, who gave her the same response. Out of frustration, she requested to cancel our appointment since we were not being allowed to use the amenities as promised. Only after that request did the receptionist finally allow us in to use the sauna and prepare for our massages. While the facility is very nice and the massage therapists are excellent, the receptionist created an unnecessary and unpleasant start to what should have been a relaxing experience. A new receptionist is strongly recommended
