I'm having extensive work, done including crowns, etc. All is carefully explained and x-rays, and procedures, are reviewed with me. And they take my insurance, Delta Dental. I am a happy patient! 10/31/25 Follow up appt: They are better than ever. The medical staff.. from the receptionist, assistant, dentist.. are so warm, welcoming and do such a thorough job of everything. I had a routine dental cleaning today, and my teeth have never felt so clean! And she communicated with me and gave some tips, when I asked, about better maintenance. X-rays were again reviewed and now I am set up for future procedures. Thanks to all of the staff, especially Dr Askari, for such good care.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful office!!! Everyone was so kind and understand! Went in for a dental check up after a long, long time of not seeing any dental offices. Not only did they look up my insurance and ensure that I was in network, but they were incredible in keeping me in the loop when they had issues. The neighborhood is very quiet and the office was professional and clean. All the workers were incredibly knowledgeable and spoke with honesty. If you need a place to go for your dental needs, I highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Came in for a new patient appointment and the service was wonderful. I came on time and was called to the back right away. The front desk and back office staff were very kind and welcoming. As someone who is not a fan of visiting the dentist, the dental cleaning was thorough and smooth.

Negative experience: I scheduled a new patient appointment. The appointment consisted of taking a series of xrays, talking me through them, and discussing things to keep an eye on, etc. Then it was time to schedule a cleaning and I was told they have no available appointments for a routine cleaning for the foreseeable future and I was going to be placed on a waitlist...um what?! Why accept a new patient if you're then not going to be able to provide cleaning appointments?!! Was this just a ploy to bill my insurance for all those Xrays? Seems like it. This is unethical if you ask me and a bad business model. Now I have to go back to my previous dentist to schedule a cleaning I had cancelled thinking I was switching practices. If I could give zero stars I would.

But from the moment I entered the lobby I knew I was in the hands of an amazing team, and in high tech low drama environment. Fantastic experience: I wanted to wait before writing a review, as I've unfortunately found myself in situations where I have left a review too soon, only to be disappointed later on. From day one, from when I first reached out to set up an appointment to stepping into the office, I have been very pleased with the service I have received. I am only sorry that I didn't come across Newbury Dental sooner. Isabel was helpful in talking through payment options when it came to procedures I was trying to have done, in additional to being very helpful and efficient with regard to dealing with my insurance. She was quick to let me know what my copay was, and helped to move the process along very quickly, which was not the case with another dental office I had frequented. There was no extended delays in having to wait to hear back from the insurance company after filing a claim (she again, was able to quickly tell me my out-of-pocket expense). And Gaby was and has been helpful in setting up appointments and also communicating with Dr. Leyla. This made the whole process as smooth and seamless as possible. Meeting Dr. Leyla was a true joy, as she has a very friendly and caring personality. Additionally, she took time to speak with me and better understand what I was looking for, talking through various options with me. She understood my concerns and made sure that she addressed them in the best possible way that would enable me to function normally. Even when there was a slight delay in the process due to matters outside of the office's control, I appreciated that they were quick to inform me using multiple modes of communication (phone, email and text) to ensure that I would get the notification. Since I was apprised of where things stood every step of the way, things were able to be taken care of quickly, ensuring that my day-to-day life was never adversely affected in any way. Lastly, Britany (sp?) and Ramona were also both very friendly, professional and kind during our interactions. My only concern was that metal was used on a final product, something I had expressed I did not want because of past experience. I am hoping that with subsequent visits, the necessary changes will be made (based on my shared preference), especially given the fact that this was a product I had to pay for in advance. Overall, Newbury has demonstrated professionalism and competence in most areas, and I sincerely hope that not only will I continue to be listened to as a a patient, but that the communication, professional and overall great service will continue as well.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first new patient appointment. The doors are unique when you first enter the office. It has a welcoming vibe. I saw Dr. Nguyen. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything as well as a transparent treatment plan with different options. I have anxiety at the dentist and she helped calm me and was considerate to ask if I was in pain throughout the cleaning and exam. The staff were all nice and friendly as well. The dentist even helped fix irritation around a crown I had place from my previous dentist. Dr. Nguyen even went above and beyond to discuss exercises and things I should be doing at home to help with some of my dental issues. So far my experience has been very positive with everyone in the office. This office was recommended by a friend and I’ll be passing it forward to recommend to others as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr Leyla and her team were wonderfully compassionate and supremely competent, and I felt fully at ease that I was in good hands. As I was in intense pain, they diagnosed the root cause immediately, and went above and beyond to help me secure appointments with an endodontist and oral surgeon in light of my circumstances. So much gratitude to Dr Leyla, Gaby, and the team! I'm so glad to have a dentist that I can trust and return to for my dental care.

Positive experience: Overall, I really enjoyed my experience- it was my first time here and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The only thing is there isn’t much privacy as the office is an open concept and there are multiple chairs for patients so I felt a bit uncomfortable; however that doesn’t discourage me to return.

The dentist was super professional - answered all my questions, gave me a thorough exam, and took x-rays just to confirm that nothing was awry. It’s very hard to find a good dentist — I’d recommend this place for sure.

Fantastic experience: I cannot be more complimentary to the Newbury team. They worked with me after a scheduling snafu on my end and got me in same day. If that wasn't enough, when they heard I had to pick up my son a certain time, they pulled together to get me out the door. Super nice people here. I've had several cleanings and a couple fillings done and never had any issues come up. Also, want to note that this is a very safe and easy neighborhood to park in.

She gave me her personal contact info so I could talk to her about the procedure and she could comfort me before the procedure. Because of her caring nature and her clear explanation, I went into the procedure with confidence and had a wonderful experience. I couldn't believe that I met with no delay even during the pandemic. Negative experience: First, this office messed up a filling for me. It hurt for over a year. Then, when I needed another filling, and I asked for a specific dentist, the office tried to switch it up on me last minute and scheduled the work with a dentist I had never met and insisted she complete my filling. Also, they messed up a crown for my husband. The crown split in half as he bit into a soft brownie. Do not trust this dental office. I do not think they should be practicing.

She gave me massage recommendations to help alleviate my jaw pain and recommended a toothpaste to help support my enemal.
