Fantastic experience: What can I say…. Amazing, professional, caring, responsive team.

Fantastic experience: I got a new job and had to move away from my dentist and just about everything else I was familiar with. I was somewhat apprehensive about starting with a new dentist. I looked online and found Bird Family Dentistry. I'm sure glad I found them! The office is bright, appealing and clean! The staff is welcoming and professional! My hygenist , Sandy, was warm and engaging! We hit it off right away. Dr. Bird, senior, was thorough and kind! I can't say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed with their demeanor or the level of care.

Fantastic experience: I always look forward to going to the dentist. Who says that? I do!!! Dr Zach Bird and his staff are truly amazing. So kind and always helpful. My hygienist Billie goes above and beyond and is amazing. Always have the cleanest teeth when I leave there.

Fantastic experience: I genuinely feel soo safe coming to this office. Im always offered water and blanket as soon as I enter the treatment area. The method used to numb before procedures is completely painless. Dr.Timblin and Dental Assistants have been all been soo pleasant and detail oriented during my visit. I also wanted to note I overheard a neighbor patient express how he was hard of hearing. The dental assistant there was quick to switch out her mask and adjusted her tone so the gentleman could be a little more comfortable. Front desk staff is pleasant as well. I do not see myself switching dental clinics anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: Is it odd to enjoy going to the Dentist - well then I’m it. Dr Bird and his staff r top notch and always on point. Punctual caring professional and really like family. Always leave the office with a great smile and happy heart.

Fantastic experience: To say the staff is extremely nice and friendly is truly an understatement. They make you feel welcome and comfortable from the second you walk through the door. Dr. Zach and Dr. Timlin are two of the best dentists you could ever have — both are knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely care about their patients. I’m so grateful I was referred to their office and couldn’t recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: The Drs Bird (father & son) are kind, considerate, thorough, trustworthy and professional, as are their hygienists. Dad has recently retired, and they have added another dentist. We are glad to have them as our dentists; have had them for over 15 years and plan to keep going there.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists were very friendly, all of the Dental staff were very friendly, easy handed when they were working in your mouth. And lastly Dr. Bird was an amazing Dentist, he told me that the other Dental office I went to prior to going to his practice was honestly just trying to make money off of me by stating that I would need to get all my teeth pulled and decide on implants or full dentures for top and bottom. Dr. Bird told me that I only needed a couple of teeth extracted and get implants to replace the extracted ones.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Bird Family Dentistry for 27 years. I know exactly how many years because I took my son there when he was 3 and now he is 30. My son actually enjoyed going to the dentist because of Dr. Bird. Since my son did so well, I decided to try. Growing up, my own experience of the dentist was that of a torture chamber. After seeing Dr. Bird, and his kind and caring staff, I was able to finally put the trauma of my childhood dentistry to rest. I trust All the staff at Dr. Bird Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I work as an acupuncturist in the building next door and share the same laundry facilities as Bird Family Dentistry. I can attest to their cleanliness and attention to detail behind the scenes. In fact, it was this, combined with the genuinely friendly staff, that convinced me to give Bird Family Dentistry a try - and I’m so glad I did! I first got my teeth cleaned by Brenda, and it was by far the best teeth cleaning I’ve had in years. Then yesterday I got a filling replaced by Dr. Bird, and he provided incredibly skilled and considerate care. I’m so glad to know I have an excellent dental team here in Tacoma to take care of me. They exceeded my expectations and I recommend them absolutely!

Fantastic experience: Dr bird family dentistry is an awesome dentist that I have ever known!!! Dr bird himself did my root canal in a dental van at the time for low income. He filled it with a filling and that filling lasted since 14yrs until I had to get a cap because the feeling was starting to wear off and like a slight chip into it but after that long... that's saying something he was a miracle worker!!! and his son is also the perfection next to his dad when it comes to fixing your teeth. The receptionist and everybody else there is so very warm and compassionate and loving!! They are very well known in my family my aunt, sister goes there... I'm starting to go there and now my son wants to join us you won't be disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: It was an emergency visit and I got to see the doctor right away. The doctor showed me what happened, what action plans are... It was nice to see pictures to understand what happened even thought there was nothing I could do. He explained what will happen depend on the outcome. Awesome!

Fantastic experience: My 9 yr old son needed two baby teeth removed. Dr. T was able to do it by numbing his gums instead of using anthesia. Which is great, because that can be scary. She was fast and efficient and asked us to reach out if we had any concerns. Bird Family Dentistry is truly the most professional and courteous dentistry in Tacoma!

Fantastic experience: Always would recommend, always been using them for my entire family, All the way up through my grandparents and my future kids will be going here as well!! 10/10 they’re always patient and take time to listen, also Dr Zac has amazing abilities to hand craft broken tooth replacements, had one done when I was 7 years old and it’s held up ever since, and doesn’t even look like a fake tooth, looks just like all the others!!

Fantastic experience: I was able to see Dr. Timlin for an appointment the same day that I called the clinic to explain that I had a problem with a badly chipped front tooth. The assistant and the Dr. not only got the exam and X-Rays done but I also got a full sized filling attached to that damaged tooth as well. It looks very natural-almost identical—to my other teeth. In fact, my smile looks better after I left the clinic than it had been even before my accident happened when my tooth became chipped. I am glad that my damaged tooth didn’t need to be removed after all.

Fantastic experience: Since moving to Tacoma 6 years ago I have been searching for a dental practice that works for me. A couple places I only visit at once. Several I tried for a few months. I am so happy to believe I have found my "dental home" at Bird Family Dental. Positive, skilled and attentive staff from the dentist to the hygienist. What a find!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Bird during a vacation trip to Washington. I had broken a tooth during a ski trip and Dr Birds office had scheduled me for an emergency appointment the day after my incident. Dr Bird repaired my tooth and made it literally picture perfect in such a short amount of time. His repair was intended to be short-term, but his repair work was so impeccable, I had it for over a year and there was never an issue with it. I’m so thankful for the customer service and his attention to quality - it was the best dental experience I have had, from a doctor that was not my primary. Thankful for the entire team, making this such a memorable experience!!

Fantastic experience: This is my first visit. I have been going to the same dentist for as long as I can remember but it feels like I don’t get the same quality of cleaning as I used to. So I decided to find another dentist. I found Dr Bird online. Very nice staff. Prompt, got me in early. Service was excellent. Very clean area. I’ll be their regular client from now on. My mouth couldn’t be happier to tell others to try them.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Bird since I was a teenager. They now see my family and are fantastic with children. I always enjoy talking to the hygienists and friendly staff. The dentists are outstanding communicators and truly care about your healthy smile. Dr. Bird is better with children than the local child dentist I was referred to. The hygienists are friendly and detailed oriented. One caught a crack in my tooth before it became a problem. I love this office.

Fantastic experience: I went in with a mouth full of problems and high anxiety! I can't remember the last time I've been to the dentist. I don't do well with the sounds, the smells, the pain. It causes me alot of fear, stress and anxiety. After letting go of the embarrassment I was feeling about them seeing what my mouth had become, I was really put at ease by how friendly and gentle everyone I came into contact with was. From the receptionist walking in to the x-ray tech, dental hygienist, dentist and the scheduler leaving. Everyone was soft spoken, reassuring and patient. I still will have anxiety but feel a lot better going here. Thanks for making me feel comfortable and safe!

Fantastic experience: Why I love my Bird Family Dentistry. The whole office is Hepa Air Clean. People are Kind, Compassionate, Thorough, Professional, Fun - a pleasure to be taken care of by them all!! I had the most thorough of cleanings Monday by Jessica. I was squeezed in this appt by Brittany because that is how diligent and helpful she is!!

Fantastic experience: I found Bird Family Dentistry because my insurance worked with them. These people are wonderful and kind. They are good at their job and work quickly. They'll offer you a blanket, chapstick, small things to keep you comfortable. I've been in for regular cleanups and fillings here. Bird family dentistry also has another close office where I had wisdom teeth removed. It was very quick and they were attentive and checked in often. I had good recovery. I'd recommend them if they work for you.
