Fantastic experience: Got my braces on in 2017 and off 2019! Still to this day has an amazing smile thanks to Dr. Gessel! Everything went so well and I’m continuing to recommend people here. I occasionally stop by for whitening gel. Now, my husband will come here and I am so happy to see the growth. Everyone here is so friendly and Dr. Gessel explains so well. Still years later. Hands down, the best Ortho Tacoma has.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love them so much!!

Negative experience: In the initial consultation, I was asked to choose the type of braces that I wanted. Throughout the treatment process on three different occasions I was asked to change the braces style in which I told them no all three times. Then I was told I was getting the Damon bracket system, which is what I chose. Got it installed. Thought I had the Damon bracket system that was until I went and got a second opinion and was told that I did not have the Damon bracket system, and everything is glued to my teeth. My original post was changed somehow! So I decided to come back and rewrite it!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful ortho! My son had a great experience here. They were thorough, kind, and made it fun. He just got his braces off and was very excited to receive his goodie bag full of chewy candy!

Fantastic experience: Had medically necessary braces from like age 14-17 due to crowding and an overbite and they were rly great and friendly with me the whole time! lowkey did not wear my retainer for long enough but my teeth still look great.

My granddaughter has Sensory issues in her mouth and the team at Gessel Orthodontics was impressive on how they patiently walked her through each visit explaining the procedures and encouraging my granddaughter through each step of the way. Fantastic experience: My 10yr old underwent treatment for crowded teeth in her mouth. Over the course of several visits she was treated with lots of care and they explained each step to her understanding, had fun visiting around holidays because of how beautiful office decorations were set up and all the staff dressed to match the holiday theme!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Gessel when I was 11 and finished when I was 21. I probably would’ve been done with my treatment earlier if I was more responsible, but I was not. I went through a lot including braces, aligners and an entire double jaw surgery. But throughout everything I was treated well and comfortably. The staff were always nice and knew me by name. It started to feel like a 2nd home because of how long I’ve been going there. Overall I am very satisfied with the work Dr. Gessel and his team have done and I recommend them to anyone looking for orthodontic work.

We appreciate the super kind staff who kindly and patiently answers many questions and provide step by step guidance along the way. Fantastic experience: I am incredibly happy with my experience at Gessel Orthodontics. I underwent treatment for almost four years and had many questions throughout the process. I was very particular about how I wanted my teeth to look, and Dr. Gessel was always patient and attentive. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explained things in a way that was both thorough and easy to understand. Initially, I wore traditional braces, but as the treatment progressed, I requested some minor adjustments. Dr. Gessel switched me to Invisalign toward the end of my treatment, helping me achieve the result I had envisioned. His calm, kind, and professional demeanor made the entire process much more enjoyable, and his team was equally wonderful. Everyone at the office is friendly, always with a smile, and they create a welcoming and positive environment. Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely amazing phase one experience with Gessel Orthodontics. My daughter had an underbite and had to go through an expander, reverse pull head gear, braces and a myobrace. Because she is only 11 years old we will still have to go through a phase 2 in a few years and there is no one I could recommend more for the journey than Dr. Gessel and his staff at this clinic. They made every visit warm, welcoming and informative. Kim did my daughter’s appointments with both of the Doctors seeing her. I am very happy our wonderful dentist at Sound Smiles referred us to Gessel for ortho. My daughter is SO happy with her results. It has been a major confidence boost for her. These people really understand patient care and know what they are doing!
