Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Aspen Dental!!! I usually do not like coming to the dentist and when I do, I become extremely anxious and nervous. However, as soon as I walked into their office, I felt like family and the hygienist, dentist, and admin were all so friendly and welcoming. They helped me feel more comfortable and confident in helping me with my treatment plan. I would definitely recommend them, 1000%!!! Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. I had an African American dentist. No I don't remember her name. Her nurse lady was also amazing. They were very patient very kind very attentive. They allowed my husband to be in there with both visits. I'm a big Big baby I had nothing but a string of bad luck with dentist. So having my comfort my husband in there with me helps me. The dentist allowed it and very thankful for this team and Aspen dental I would refer them to anybody.

Negative experience: Check out how many times this place is being sued, check BBB, check Go somewhere else ...you will regret it. I can't speak too much about it because we're going to court, along with many others coming out of here, they've burned many, don't be next. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BELOW from Sally, Nikki, KareML, BPerez, Damond, DA Madgd..and .... I stopped reading after I heard so much negative things about Aspen Dental and how they burn people, it's unbelievable, Dont let it happen to you...turn around and run!! I paid $995, cash, on day 1, my portion after insurance, so they said, for dentures. When they billed my insurance, they left something out, so my insurance denied $1,000, but told them exactly how to fix it, it was simple, they wouldn't do it. They chose to bill me that extra thousand rather than rewrite a referral, as my insurance suggested . Also that $1,000 I paid on day one that was supposed to cover my portion, didn't include my dentures if you can imagine that. So they want another $2,400 for the dentures, plus their $1,000 error & the $995 I've already paid . They want $4,200 before they'll do any work. It's now been 10 months, I'm still wearing the temporary that doesn't fit correctly. I was told to come in today to get impressions for my permanent. They do impressions, and after tell me they're only temporary again, and they're only doing the top when its the bottom that doesn't stay in place and is not aligned correctly. SO THEY WANT $4,200 TO BE PAID BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE!!! Crazy. They will tell you anything to get your money... it's not only me ... see below..it can happen to you too.. Very unprofessional & heartless. Ill be editing this weekly, so follow me, lets see how it all plays out.

Fantastic experience: ASPEN Dental. I highly recommend this office. The dental office is very clean. My wait time couple minutes if that. I saw Dr Allison and her assistant Laureen. I was very nervous for my appointment as I just left a different dental office and it was a horrible nightmare (Risas Dental, El Mirage Location. Don’t go there unless you like spending money on work that don’t get done.) My interaction was with LAUREEN. She’s very sweet, very bubble. Great personality. She takes time to make you feel comfortable and relax. How could you not be in a good mood with LAUREEN with bubbly personality. They definitely need more people like her in the world. Then my Doctor, DR ALLISON. Just love her. Very much a people person. Very attentive. Goes over every aspect of your treatments and how many potential visits you may have. Will answer all your questions. You feel so much ease with Dr Allison. I have had few very bad experiences with dental offices. A lot of pain and a lot of money down the drain. Yesterday was my first visit and was very nervous and anxious. Thinking here goes another visit wasting money. This was my thought process. But went in kept an open mind. By the time I left my appointment. Felt like a huge boulder was lifted off my shoulders. Dr Allison was going to make sure my experience here was the best. And it was. They take care of you from the start. Open door walking. Your instantly greeted by the receptionist. Who is always smiling. And very knowledgeable. Answered any billing questions I had. I have nothing bad to say about ASPEN dental. This place with the staff they have it’s a great fit for me. From entering the office to exiting the office. Was a very great experience. Negative experience: I’m reading the comments with a severe headache and realizing that I felt fine until I went into their office. All the smiling faces and the cost of my partial being quoted 14,000.00. A partial. On top of that the X-ray person shoved the X-ray instrument into my mouth 3 times as well as repeatedly having the X-ray machine hit my shoulder. I didn’t feel welcomed. I later called my insurance company to ask what I should have done to deserve that and they said that I must be mistaken. Then I called them and they told them that I was in need of a surgical cleaning the dentist down the street offered to do a deep cleaning for 187.00. Honestly I must be the worse patient ever , I don’t recommend it you’re 65 or over they are just mean.

Negative experience: Upsell, upsell, upsell that's how I would describe my experience. I selected because the advertisements said emergency services. I live two hours away and had been up all night with an incredibly painful tooth that I desperately needed help with. Front desk was and nurses were great they were professional and understanding. After Xray and examination I find out there is no dentist in the office who can do anything for me. The one general dentist was a fill in and rude. She didn't care at all how much pain I was in or give me any plan on what to do about it. In fact they left me in the examination room until I couldn't take it anymore only to go out and find someone to ask what's going on that's when I found out they were working up an upsell list of services they didn't even have a dentist to perform any of the work so I left after an 1.5 hours with a $6K three page list of recommendations and no plan to help me. By the way the only dentist they do have rotates between all the locations including the Prescott area. Luckily, I called around and found the help I needed. Absolute waste of time I would never go back or recommend to anyone for any reason.

Positive experience: Its starting to not be a good experience. At first it was great appointment times were actually what it was scheduled for . Not last couple times I was here 1 hour and 40 minutes for a checkup . They said its their system with the insurance updates and changes. I hope it improves staff is really nice and they do great work. Wait times are a huge factor especially when we have other places to be so definitely important especially now with more people moving here .

Fantastic experience: Anastacia is the reason I will drive from anywhere in AZ to get my teeth cleaned since she is the BEST hygienist in the state of Arizona! Luckily only an hour drive this time. Negative experience: I do not recommend going to this place. I called on the phone. I guess I got the call center. I told her that I had a hairline fracture in my denture and that I saw it was a promotion for $49 and up to fix repairs she asked me if I had insurance I said no she made me the appointment. I got too the Aspen Dental in Surprise. They tried to do an x-ray and an exam even though it was free I told her I don’t need all of that. I just need someone to look at the crack in my denture and let me know if they can fix it or not. Then she tells me without insurance if I don’t want to do the free complementary exam with the x-ray that I have to pay $170 for the consultation I said that makes no sense Why waste my time and yours why can’t you just look at the crack? And Let me know if you can fix it and how much it cost she says well we can’t do that She says you have to sit through the whole x-ray and free exam consultation Then they will look at the denture to see if the doctor can fix it to me. It’s a bunch of BS they do that just to get you in and try to sell you other services. This is why they want to do an exam so they can hit you with other things that’s going on rather Just help you with the problem that you came in with and if it was gonna cost me a different price to just address the issue I had then that should’ve been told to me over the phone when I first made the appointment and I told the lady what I was coming in for and that I did not have insurance. Not to mention when I was two minutes away driving to my appointment (Theresa) calls me to remind me of the appointment and I tell her I’m like two minutes away and she’s like oh if you’re that close, they’ll probably get you back way sooner then my actual appointment which was at 10:30. I get there at 9:52 AM and I didn’t end up seeing anyone till 11 o’clock so I felt like she gave me a false expectation on time. She could’ve kept that to herself. Very bad experience I will never go back there again I know every business has a process however they need to state everything, including the fact that it’s mandatory that you have a x-ray and full exam prior to them addressing a simple issue as just getting a crack looked at to see if it can be fixed, which has nothing to do with an x-ray that should be stated once you make the appointment.

Negative experience: Was going to get a crown done here because they are cheaper. The hygienist is insisting on doing a deep cleaning that was done about 7 months ago that my insurance only covers once a year. So a $400 crown for a tooth would cost more than $2,000 out of pocket. Seems like the hygienist is running a scam on people to get more money. The people in the front office are very nice and try to explain things the best they can but to force someone to pay out of pocket for a deep cleaning to get a crown put on a broken tooth seems ridiculous. Plus the hygienist said the gums are infected a deep cleaning will not take care of an infection only medication will do that. Update: When I went to my appointment to get a quote on what needed to be done I told them at the office that my insurance would not cover x-rays because I had already had them done. They told me that there is no cost that they have to do it in order to see what needs to be done. Once I did not go back to them to get the work done I got a bill in the mail for the x-rays that I told them would not be covered. Seems as though they are trying to scam people out of money because they went to someone else to get the work done. If you are looking to loose money for everything then go with these clowns.

Fantastic experience: I am no good and do not normally write or share reviews but think that it would be unfair to not share my recent experience with the public. This review is a PSA for all the professionals in Dentistry. I want you to know that I respect all but fear and dislike when I have to visit you. The worst part is that I pay a monthly fee in hopes that I don't have to see you but if I do, it doesn't hurt my wallet the way you hurt my spirits and teeth. I chipped my front tooth and had no choice but to find and visit a dentist. After some market research I came across AspenDental. After skimming some reviews I decided to call ask questions and hung up. After some time, I went online and scheduled an appointment. Easiest and fastest way to schedule, I was already impressed. I was expecting emails with docs to fill out and texts or calls that followed but nothing. Since I was already feeling bold to have scheduled an appointment, I decided to do same day after work. I was thinking, I'll show up to my appointment but since I didn't get texts, emails, or calls I was hoping it wasn't scheduled and wouldn't have to see a dentist on that day. To my surprise, AspenDental in Surprise had me on schedule. I told front desk that I only wanted consultation for chipped tooth and refused any other services. They assured me that x-rays were required but I wouldn't have to pay if I didn't accept services. I sat down and waited for dentist to come in, after a few minutes Dr. Triveni Padele, DMD, walks in. I told her, I knew I needed work done but all I wanted was my chipped tooth to be fixed. Longer story short, she told me why my tooth chipped and that the one next to it was going to follow because of cavities. I was ready to jump out and run but she explained process and after meeting with finance team, I agreed to have my teeth fixed. Dr Padale not only fixed my chipped tooth and neighboring tooth but went above and beyond to fix a third cavity near a nerve at no additional costs because she knew I was scared and her words "didn't want me to suffer" knowing I feared dentist and likely to not be back. The fact that she did that showed her dedication to the art and love of teeth and think that all professionals in Dentistry should be like her. Thank you Dr. Padele. I appreciate your dedication to me and your patients. If this was a trick to get me to come back, it worked. I've scheduled my next appointment.

I came in for a routine cleaning—nothing more—but ended up being charged for two additional services that I did not need or ask for; I got an EOB saying that I owed around $200 and 95 of it was for educational hygiene. Isn't that basic when you get it cleaning? I've never heard of this in my life. It’s frustrating to feel like you're being taken advantage of, especially when you're simply trying to take care of your dental health. I expected transparency and straightforward service, but instead, I walked away feeling misled and overcharged. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this location to anyone who values honest treatment.

Negative experience: I retract my review this place is a money scamming joke, this is the only place I’ve ever been to or heard of where they charge you 50% to even schedule then 50% before the works even done which speaking with other dental places is really not ever heard of considering if they have to fix or change or do anything extra while they’re working. And THERESA the front desk receptionist is a joke who lies when setting your appointment then tries to gaslight you on the day of the appointment, then on top of that lies about refunding me.. I didn’t get a refund until I called corporate which she said in office the day I canceled that she issued the refund and it would take a week. Ariana was nice and the lady who did the X-rays was nice, but as for Theresa and the actual dentist herself complete jokes, and as for the company itself a complete scam. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION and give that Theresa said she also came from the Metrocenter location safe to say better off not going there either. Totally recommend reading the reviews they were not lying when they said this place is a scam.

Fantastic experience: I have not done any procedures. However the 1st appointment cover X rays and consultation. Thr intale person was very nice and informative. The Hygienist was very professional and shared the points that need attention and answered all my questions without hesitation. Negative experience: Drove 2 hours to get a pricing for a partial denture replacement. After they performed their full exam and threw so many different options at me, I still could not get a quote on cost. I was at this office for 2 and a half hours and wasn’t given any pricing until the final half hour. When I asked how much for just a basic replacement and when we could get it done, I was quoted $4000 for replacement and was looking at least a few days/weeks for getting started on getting a replacement. Make sure you read the fine print about this place. “Same day dentures” is false cause their “lab tech” is never in the office.

Fantastic experience: I was seen at the Surprise location, and I highly recommend the them. Staff is great at what they do. Each part of my x-rays and exam was done by different people. Each one worked in sync with one another and harmony so to say. Very safe efficient, and thorough. I find them to be very affordable

Negative experience: The two women who took my X-rays & measured my gums were very professional & good. The dentist was not thorough at all. She didn't check all of my teeth- only the 3 that are giving me pain. Turns out I need 3 root canals & the endodontist is out of network- so I was quoted $14,000. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: Literally the worst customer service ever, I called for an emergency appointment and the person taking my call (k-something) gave me an attitude and hung up on me when i specifically told her I didn’t want to waste my time or hers in filling out intake information if they didn’t have availability today because my son has an emergency, and she said that was the only way to pull up the schedule screen. after I gave her all that info she said tomorrow was the first available, I said no thank you and she just hung up, incredibly rude and unprofessional!

Negative experience: Staff was patient but, I had to wait over 25 minutes while they check for coverage when I had spent time on a 3 way phone chat with them and the insurance. Also I feel that their prices are very expensive. In order to get a denture that is a better quality, you have to pay a lot more.

Negative experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years. After my exam I was told I need a previous root canal crown needed a replacement and that I had another tooth that needed a root canal and crown. Went to a different dentist and not only did I not need a root canal/crown, I didn’t even have a cavity in that tooth. I just needed a good cleaning and my gum pain around that tooth is gone. I never had any tooth pain so I really don’t know how they came up with needing a root canal. I don’t have insurance so I’m glad I didn’t throw down the $8000 they wanted.

Negative experience: My first visit was to see what might be causing some discomfort near a crown done by a different dentist. Without getting an answer to my question, I was presented with the fact that I need dentures, which is something that has never been mentioned to me by my previous long-time dentist. I had to change my insurance this year, otherwise I'd still be going to my previous dentist. At Aspen Dental, I felt like the need for dentures was really being pushed on me. I got upset and walked out. I won't go back.

Fantastic experience: This dental office is amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I haven’t been to the dentist for a while due to finances. But I finally got good insurance and Aspen Dental took me in right away. From the front desk to the back of the office, this experience was very pleasant. Stac, the hygienist, was excellent and very informative. She helped me understand the condition of my teeth while also doing an amazing cleaning with my teeth. I had no pain whatsoever. Fantastic experience: I was in so much pain from an abscessed tooth. The office got me in quickly. Every step of my appointment was great. Front desk was professional and friendly, the assistant taking my X-rays was thoughtful and kind not to touch the painful area and the Dentist who decided to drain it has me feeling almost human again. I couldn’t be more pleased. Such a nice experience in a scary situation.

Negative experience: My grandparents had both scheduled appointments for dental exams and cleanings through this dental office arriving on time for paperwork as first time patients. One, at 85 years old, waited 1.5 hours to be fully served and they only completed the work on half of her mouth. The other, at 88 years old, had to leave after sitting for 2 hours not able to continue to wait to be served, departing well after closing time. They were also quoted an amount so excessive to treat them they had to seek out a second opinion. For this dental office to promote the bottom line over the time and care of their patients is unacceptable. The staff is impersonal, lacking compassion, organizational skills and proper management. I recommend searching for dental care elsewhere.

Negative experience: I went in for a repair on my partial. They told me I needed to get a full mouth x-ray.I told them no. Then they said they needed Partial x rays and I said no , you do not. Then they wanted a full examination and when I said no they said they have to have a partial exam, and I said no again. She then took my partial to the dentist and came back within three minutes telling me they can't fix it. I gotta say the people were nice, but I felt I was being forced into spending more money than I needed too.

Fantastic experience: I came into the office due to previous provider not fulfilling my reline, came to Aspen due having a “lab” on site. Staff were very helpful and very friendly and assured me they would make my dentures how they should be. After numerous attempt's at previous provider, I’m am so please with what I experienced. Negative experience: 9-28-24- UPDATE- I took the dentures back months ago, and my insurance company STILL HAS NOT been credited the money they paid to Aspen. So i cannot get new dentures until they do. This is unacceptable and so here i am with NO upper teeth because Aspen hasn't done what they promised me they would. Guess BBB will be hearing from me. I have been going to Aspen Dental for years. Got my last upper dentures 10 years ago. This year, I got a new upper denture, and I had a tooth fall out at a BBQ (embarrassing). Took it in & had it fixed. The very next weekend, a different tooth fell out while I was sitting talking to a gentleman. I gave the dentures back to Aspen and requested a refund. They do have good customer service there. Just can't afford $1500 for an upper denture and have the teeth fall out. Guess customer service isn't so good here, if it was, they would have this taken care of already.

Negative experience: I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Peterson Monday, he was nothing but phenomenal throughout the process. However, post procedure, about 4 days after, I am still in pain from the extractions. I made an appointment for alternative pain options, and got scheduled with Dr. Chan. In the beginning, she seemed helpful. Little did I know, that was NOT the case. She was extremely rude, gave me misinformation about medications, contraindications, and even went as far as saying “I don’t want to help with this” after asking about prior meds that were already provided to me. This was the worst dental experience I’ve ever encountered, ever. Not to mention the embarrassment during the entire ordeal, phone calls with receptionists who have limited say or capabilities who go in circles about how they’re doctor has the final say. Just an overall horrible experience. I would never recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who I care about, not even my worst enemy. Please do your research and find someone who cares.

Negative experience: I was VERY IMPRESSED with their ability to UP Sale every aspect of the care. Thoroughly disappointed in the service and prices I and my 18 year old daughter received. Wants over $1200 for teeth cleaning and an extraction "AFTER" insurance. Moved here from NJ and NEVER had this type of lack of care. Highly NOT recommended.

Negative experience: I've been going to aspen dental for 12 years and 7 of them were at this location. My dentures have broken in middle of top and bottom, lost a tooth and this is with 3 sets of dentures. I will never ever go back, today finalized it! Had made an appointment for today and upon arrival was told I didn't have any files there and no appointment! They will always try and talk you into something, I'm going to find another dentist!!! Update on aspen! Just found out that they had me pay for service that should have been billed to my insurance company!! But instead billed me personally for thousands of dollars over a period of 12 years!!!!!. I'm on SSA and paid for all of this myself!! I cried when I found out today
Fantastic experience: They don’t give a flying hoot about the patient. The staff needs to go to school to learn how to talk to patients. They couldn’t get my dentures to fit. When i said i tested negative for COVID they would not let me see the dentist without proof. Like i was lying. They refunded 1/2 of my money instead. I got the job done properly at Midwestern for 1/3 of the price. My dog has better dental care. I give them minus - 10 stars.
Negative experience: I'll start off by admitting I need a lot of dental work done. However while visiting this location my experience was not great. No real explanation of X-rays, treatment plan, etc. Until they wanted 60% down for a bunch of procedures for future visits/work. All while not addressing what I actually came in for. The X-Ray tech/Dental assistant was awesome and very nice. She did make the experience more welcoming and less like I was in a drive thru window type setting and the pressure of a shady car dealer. Declined services and went for a second opinion where I am being seen and taken care of as I type this review. Update - stop calling me to get me to change my review.

Fantastic experience: I have never had a more pleasurable dental experience than at Aspen dental. From the first day I came to them, in severe pain, they have been constantly kind and helpful. My dentist, Dr. Chen, is just wonderful. She is kind and patient, and makes the dental experience much less frightening. I really don't mind going to my appointments. The dental assistant, Denai, is ever so kind and helpful, and they have a front office young lady, Iliyana, who is the most respectful and pleasant front office person one could have. I really have only praise for this office and I apologize if I spelled anyone's name incorrectly. I HIGHLY recommend this office for any dental patients. Thank you.

Positive experience: Normally I don’t go out of my way to review places but seeing all the negative reviews from this location I was a bit skeptical, but sure enough the bad reviews don’t mean anything. The staff here is truly wonderful and welcoming, Dr.Chan is an amazing dentist and does awesome work and will work with you step by step on what needs to be done. The only rife I had was the amount of pain I was in and the lack of pain medication offered to me, but I get it and things just kinda take time. Will be going going for all my work that needs to be done and hopefully make this location permanent.

Negative experience: My mother had her teeth pulled to get dentures. She was butchered and he said come back if he need to scrape the bone. Her entire face was bruised and in horrible pain for over a month. This was in 2018, She has never been able to get dentures that fit nor can she eat solid food. Never been able to use the bottom plate. They over charged her for a lifetime of pain

Negative experience: Scam. They over charge and “recommend/require” services not covered by insurance and really pressure you into compliance. Scheduling is a nightmare. They called to cancel or reschedule while I was already on my way to the appointments because they are running late. They couldn’t figure out insurance. Disaster office. I will not be going back.

Negative experience: Price gouging to the max, did not care about the well being of the patients. Ignored reason of visit and did nothing to help relieve issues. They changed the dental field to sales and marketing rather than patient care. I strongly do not recommend this company if you are in pain they could care less save you’re time and gas and go to a dentist that wants to help.

Negative experience: Dr. Chang is great, she is the only reason I stayed after the last front office mistake. Every time I schedule a visit there is some kind mistake that happens and the front office manager blames it on their system. Scheduled my appointment several months out. Showed up today as scheduled and was told because I didn’t confirm my appointment was canceled. I did call back and confirm and also got a confirmation text the morning of my appointment. This is the second time my appointment has been canceled. First time they said they called an old number , again a system issue. In both instances the front office manager is not helpful and seems confused. She also discusses our treatment plans openly in the front office in a condescending manner while making excuses for the scheduling errors.
